Sally was so accommodating and helpful. I would like to say I wasn't a "crazy bridezilla" but its probably because of Sally! She was always very organized, flexible and positive. I was blown away with the Inn she had us in, the area we were in and everything else Sally recommended. I could not have done this on my own. This was beyond my dreams perfection. THANK YOU! -

Sally Bullard went above and beyond to ensure that our son and his new bride had a beautiful wedding ceremony that went off without any complications. From the moment we first contacted her, she was excited about being able to perform the ceremony for them, and provided us with valuable information in regards to obtaining their marriage license, finding the perfect location, having a backup location in case of rain. She was also helpful with finding a florist and a baker, and made herself available for any questions we had. The ceremony itself was absolutely beautiful, and she made a booklet of the ceremony which she gave to my son and his wife to have as a keepsake. We cannot say enough about how wonderful this day was, and we owe a great deal of the credit to Sally! -

Sally was amazing from our first meeting. Her "team" of vendors were all top notch and such a pleasure to work with. We did most of our planning long distance and could not have pulled it off without Sally's help. The day of the wedding she kept us all focused and on schedule--it really was incredible. -

Sally, and the people she chose, hit it out of the ballpark! Seriously, Bonnie did a great job with our hair - all three of us felt beautiful and comfortable and it's rare for Brad's daughter to shine like she did that afternoon. I loved Lisa's makeup and felt naturally radiant and both my mom and Brad were glad it wasn't overdone. Leisha, photographer, was fabulous and put up with our strange requests and worked with us when we were "done" and needing breaks. The flowers and chairs were exactly what I envisioned as well.
Sally worked with me via phone and email to come up with a personalized plan for our day. From the moment I sent in my deposit, I no longer worried about any of the details in regards to the cake, chairs, flowers, etc. We flew in from KS on a Weds and had the perfect ceremony on the deck of my in-laws summer home Friday evening.
I would HIGHLY recommend Sally and anyone she chooses to make your event exactly what you want. You will not be disappointed as she and her team offer superior service. -

We had a meeting before the wedding and that was her idea and it was a good one. We needed some help because there was some changes in the vows one the day before the wedding and she was gracious and patient we me so we could get it right before the wedding. I would highly recommend Sally for your event. -

We had a vow renewal in Booth Bay Harbor, Me late August. I found Sally very last minute and the reception was to take place on a holiday weekend no less. Sally got right to it and made everything fall into place with ease and made the date very special. I highly recommend her services to anyone. -

Dear Sally,
We just wanted to send a note thanking you for doing such a wonderful job putting our wedding together. It was so nice to have all the last minute details taken care of with such ease. It took a lot of pressure off of us having to worry about the actual ceremony. Talk about nerves! We made it through! The video is hilarious to watch us as Andrew rocks back and forth and I do my best to hold him still. I tried not to laugh throughout the ceremony. It was close; I almost lost it by the end. Ha! So much fun. The bouquet was exactly what I pictured; I was so impressed when I saw it. The cake was beautiful and everyone loved it. Dinner at Brown’s Wharf was delicious! All our guests enjoyed themselves. The sunset was gorgeous and our daughter-in-law took some pictures of us on the dock. The photographer and videographer were a joy to work with and we were very happy with the prints and DVD that followed less than three weeks after the wedding. Loved our stay at Spruce Point Inn. Choosing to be married in Boothbay Harbor was the best decision! Loved the chapel! There is so much more praise I’d give but my space is limited. It was a pleasure to meet you. Thank you for making our much awaited nuptial such a breeze and nearly stress free.

Sally was wonderful from start to finish. She truly is the best at what she does. From her knowledge of the area to her wonderful connections with vendors all over the state, she made the wedding planning process easy and enjoyable. On our wedding day Sally was there from start to finish and gave us a comfort level that allowed for a wonderful event. Everything went perfectly and it was nice to know that we did not have to worry about a thing, she took control and made the day flow well. Although wedding planning proved to be a daunting task , we had an absolute blast doing it all with Sally at "A Maine Wedding." She is highly experienced, professional, knows all the best vendors, and does everything with a certain flare that you can only find in Maine. Even though we were both living out of state at the time, the planning process went very smoothly and we never had any doubts that we would have the perfect day...and we did!
Sally had no problem dealing with the logistics of planes, rental cars, buses, boats...etc. We definitely put her to the test! When the day came, we were actually able to relax and have fun because Sally had taken care of everything, leaving us to be able to enjoy the experience with friends and family.
I would definitely recommend Sally to anyone looking to have their wedding in Maine! -

I initially contacted Sally on whim - suggested by a local B&B as I was trying to figure out a location for the wedding. We set up the initial phone consultation and she gave me all kinds of suggestions and vendors to choose from. Best $100 spent. We did not think we were going to use 'day of' services. Then about 4 months before the wedding, she called... She knew it was the perfect time to reintroduce herself into our plans and we decided to go for it. She was AWESOME. Organized, helpful, reassuring. Sally is a true professional and the day went off without a hitch. -

As the proprietor of A Maine Wedding, we both found Sally an *absolute joy* to work with. Sally is phenomenal! She has a great personality and energy, and instantly makes you feel at ease. We had an outdoor ceremony that was not religious, but embodied spirituality, love, and commitment. She was the perfect person to help us plan our ceremony and officiate our wedding. It was very helpful to use her ceremony worksheet to get started, and then tailor it to our needs. My husband and I celebrated our 30th anniversary with a private vow renewal ceremony. Sally's reading was beautiful and just perfect for us. She had a wrist corsage and boutineer delivered to our resort, made dinner reservations for us at a romantic restaurant, had a small celebration cake delivered to the restaurant, and arranged for a photographer. Even though I had problems with my dress, Sally made the event and evening very special for us, something we will always remember. The photographs arrived in the mail about 2 weeks after our ceremony. They turned out wonderful and we even have them on a CD so we can make copies of the ones we want. -

I loved Sally. She pulled everything off so well and we had only spoken on the phone maybe 4 times. The day of my wedding went so smooth no stress. Sally of A Maine Wedding is wonderful! She was well worth every penny! She did a consult with us when we were first engaged, took over coordination with our venue a month before the wedding, provided day of coordination and served as our officiant. She is incredibly professional, responsive and pleasant to deal with. She had excellent recommendations for potential venues, caterers and wedding cakes (we didn't ask for assistance with other vendors). She is truly there for as little or as much help as you would like. She is also very fair and transparent in her billing, which we appreciated. -

Sally Bullard was an invaluable resource to our daughter and her then-fiance as they planned their unique wedding that was held on an island off Boothbay Harbor last August. Originally hired as their Justice of the Peace, Sally became a very special friend to them. She saw them as individuals, understanding who they were and what was important to them, allowing their ceremony to be tailored to them. Her attention to details the day of the wedding, her ability to organize people and events, in combination with her delightful sense of humor and warmth, made a very special day ever-so-flawless. Sally was very easy to work with and was helpful in selecting our ceremony location. We felt she conducted a perfect ceremony for our event on Ocean Point and we would highly recommend her services. -

Incredibly easy to work with and very accommodating to any requests we had. Her familiarity with the area and our venue helped make things that much easier. We really had little to no clue what we were going to be doing for a service and her service guide/booklet was a HUGE help. Definitely recommend Sally @ A Maine Wedding. -

Sally was great!
Our elopement was very small - just the two of us - and we had a wonderful day. Sally was able to coordinate a wonderful photographer, arranged for beautiful flowers, and the ceremony she read was a perfect fit.
We were making arrangements from out of state, and it was great having the peace of mind that our day would be just what we wanted even though we couldn't handle any of the planning in person.
We couldn't be happier with our experience! -
