Must have group for live wedding music!
We were so glad we found Lyric Ensemble and they were in budget and available on our wedding date. We booked the guitar, violin, cello trio for a great price, covering 2 hours of our wedding day - ceremony and cocktail hour. They were very professional and responsive and helped to identify the best styles and selections that matched our dreams for the day. On the day, their performances were lovely and really elevated our experience with live music personalized to us and our vision. I would highly recommend this group for future wedding couples and other events! Thank you Lyric Ensemble for making our day so special! -

Ceremony and Cocktail Hour Music Perfection
We booked a trio with Lyric Ensemble for our ceremony and cocktail hour, and they were wonderful to work with! Kimberlee is very personable and did an excellent job with communication throughout the planning process. The musicians are very talented and they did a great job working with our Day of Coordinator, when she cued them to play each song! Each song was timed perfectly during the ceremony. Lyric Ensemble also learned a special song for my husband and me, and they paid attention to when we were able to join cocktail hour after photos, so we could hear it! We are very grateful to Lyric Ensemble and we hope we will get to hear them play again someday :) -

Highly recommend!
Kimberlee and the crew were wonderful to work with and played beautifully! They added a special magic to our ceremony! Multiple guests came up to us and complimented them! They have a good variety of music options and ensembles, not to mention they were willing to learn new pieces if we had wanted something they didn't already know. I would absolutely recommend them -

Daughter's wedding in Boulder
Kimberlee and her group were wonderful and my daughter was thrilled with having them perform during her wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and seated dinner at the St Julien Hotel. The quality of music and professionalism was flawless, music selections were wonderful, they were on time and extremely easy to work with. I highly recommend them! -

Gorgeous Music Beyond My Expectations
My experience with Kimberlee and Lyric Ensemble was far beyond what I could have hoped. From the initial information meeting to the end result at the wedding, I could not be happier. When I listened to their songs online to make my selection, I teared up because of the beautiful music that they play. In person, it was even better. I am so grateful that Kimberlee and her team played at our wedding. It was one of the best parts, and I will cherish the memories forever. -

We Really Enjoyed The String Trio
Kimberlee and her team performed for our wedding in August 2025 were very skilled. They were also able to accommodate one song that was outside their normal playlist, and they nailed it. She is also an excellent communicator! -

Professional and Masterful

Beautiful and professional ceremony music
Lyric Ensemble played the ceremony music for our wedding in Lyons, CO. We worked with the cello and guitar duo (Kimberlee and Dennis). We had multiple guests telling us how special it was to have live musicians there and what a difference it made in the overall experience. They are both incredibly talented and created a wonderful atmosphere for our wedding. They were able to seamlessly blend classical, jazz, and modern songs that meant a lot to us and guests of honor. The day would not have been nearly as magical without them! -

Lyric Ensemble are incredibly talented musicians and we are so happy with our choice of hiring them for our wedding day. We chose the cello and guitar duo to play our ceremony music. Kimberlee personally communicated with us in the weeks leading up to our wedding and helped us choose music that would make the ceremony magical. Her team is so knowledgeable and talented in so many different music genres. She and Dennis (the guitarist) were able to modify a song so it was perfect for my entrance and walk down the aisle. Having that customized song and live music was so so special. She also played songs we discussed would resonate with specific guests of honor and that made it even more special. Multiple guests came up to us afterwards saying how beautiful and moving the ceremony music was. We're also grateful for the opportunity to support talented local artists. Kimberlee and Dennis made the day perfect. We would choose Lyric Ensemble again in a heartbeat! -

Added a personal touch

Fabulous addition to the wedding
We were gifted the addition of a string trio for our daughter's wedding, and we chose Lyric Ensemble. What a wonderful gift that was! Kimberlee was so helpful in figuring out what we needed for our size group. She worked closely with the bride and groom to select music for the ceremony and happy hour. The musicians played to perfection and we had many compliments on their performance. I wish we had more time to enjoy this portion of the day! -

Lovely string music for our wedding!

Destination wedding with the best playlist a Beatles fan could ask for
Kimberlee and her team of talented musicians made our Colorado destination wedding by playing a custom Beatles and classical music playlist, with a few Disney songs thrown in. It was absolutely magical and the music just set the tone for a fairytale like wedding. From the moment I found Lyric Ensemble online while doing a simple “string music for wedding in Colorado” search and contacting Kimberlee, her promptness, professionalism and expertise in the music field made me feel at ease. Kimberlee kept in contact for the entirety of the wedding planning process and made sure we were going to have the best string trio playing during our ceremony and cocktail hour. My guests were absolutely blown away by the live music. I would recommend Lyric Ensemble in a heartbeat if anyone was deciding to have live string music played during their special day! Amazing ensemble to work with
Kimberlee is a joy to work with. Her and her ensemble are so flexible and really have a knack for figuring out what to play and at what volume so it isn’t too noisy for the other activities going on during a wedding. She responds to emails efficiently and asks the right questions in order for you not to stress on the big day. -

Beautiful wedding ceremony performance
Kimberlee with Lyric Ensemble was amazing to work with, she made everything so easy! She dedicated time to go over song choices with us, helped guide us with what songs best fit which moments and she even sent us videolinks for the popular songs (since they are classical songs we recognized them when we heard them but didn't know them by name).
That was all before they even performed!! The live musicians really tied the ceremony together. It's just so classy and beautiful, it really captured the mood and moment. It was wonderful to support artists in their craft as well.
Well worth the investment and we highly recommend them!!! -

Wonderfully talented musicians
My wife and I knew we wanted a string ensemble to perform during our ceremony. We reached out to Lyric Ensemble as they came highly recommended from our venue. I requested information on a string quartet. Kimberlee provided the information, but recommended we go with a trio instead. We had not considered a trio, but after discussing it with Kimberlee, we decided to go that route and we were not disappointed! They have an extensive song list consisting of both traditional pieces and pop (my bride walked down the aisle to John Legend's All of Me). They can even perform music that is not on their song list if you are able to provide sheet music in advance. Lyric Ensemble was a key factor in making our wedding day the beautiful event it turned out to be. I really appreciated how flexible they were with Covid. I highly recommend Lyric Ensemble! -

The perfect atmosphere for our wedding!
I cannot recommend Lyric Ensemble highly enough for the perfect classical touch to a party or reception. They provided the beautiful background music for my summer outdoor wedding reception. My fiancee and I were very particular about some specific pieces, especially our choice for entering the reception after all the guests had gathered. They were extremely accommodating of us and it couldn't have gone more perfectly as my new husband and I made our grand entrance. They set the perfect tone for our post wedding party and provided us with memories that will last a lifetime. -

The cherry on top!
The Lyric Ensemble played for my Son's wedding in Estes Park. We had the string trio with violin, cello and guitar. The music was definitely a highlight of the event! We had an assortment of music played from classical to popular and each song was played beautifully. The music added a sweet and magical element to the event and it will be forever imprinted in my memory. Kimberlee was very easy to work with before and during the event. She was helpful in offering suggestions for the best location for the trio, and their musical selections were outstanding. I highly recommend the Lyric Ensemble for their outstanding quality of music and professional presentation. -

Amazing and Classic!
I loved having Lyric Ensemble play for our wedding. The wedding was outside and turned out to be pretty cold, so they played through two open doors, but it sounded just as amazing! Kinberlee was super helpful in answering questions and helping me choose music. She even let me know when she would be out of town and away from email, so I was able to ask my questions before and after, aware that there could be a delay any time between. The music sounded amazing up on the mountain and many of my guests said it made the ceremony very memorable -

A Lyric Ensemble was wonderful from start to finish. Kimberlee was great to work with. She was very responsive and organized and made it very easy for my husband and me to pick songs and determine what other information was necessary for the musicians before and during the ceremony. Their song list is comprehensive for classical music and fit our wedding style perfectly. I honestly don't remember our ceremony much since it went by in a blur, but several people commented on how lovely the string duo was. I highly recommend working with A Lyric Ensemble! One of the unspoken rules about creating moments of magic is that music is key. Music can readily make or break a moment...choosing to work with Kimberlee and Lyric Ensemble was one of the BEST decisions we made as we planned our wedding day. We had a string quartet play Debussy's Reverie, which was nothing short of ethereal...I was also truly stunned by the perfection of the oboist who sat in to play Gabriel's Oboe, which I walked down the aisle to. The skill of these musicians is truly incredible and I will forever be grateful for their creation of a moment that was nothing short of a fairy tale!! -

We engaged A Lyric Ensemble to provide the event music for our 50th wedding anniversary celebration brunch in the Music Room at the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, CO on 14 Jul 2017. They were a perfect choice for our event. From the initial contact through frequent interactions regarding timing, sequence and song selections and then set up at and performance at the event, Kimberlee was professional responsive, clear, courteous and flexible. For our trio, the musicians were Kimberlee Hanto (cello), Dennis Burns (guitar) and Harumi Rhodes (violin). They were each excellent, but together they seemed even better! A Lyric Ensemble helped create a beautiful and memorable day for our daughter's outdoor wedding. When a Colorado spring snowstorm threatened our outdoor plans, Kimberlee worked with us, and she and the other musicians in the trio bundled up and played on! We were able to select specific songs to match the ceremony. However, you don't have to be a classical (or contemporary) music expert. They have terrific playlists and are able to make suggestions for the perfect music to fit the occasion. Many of our guests commented on the beautiful music which set the tone for a perfect day! -

We chose a trio of cello, violin and classical guitar. They are extremely talented and played beautifully at her ceremony. They truly exceeded our expectations. We hired A Lyric Ensemble to play for our annual Valentine's Dinner at our Club, Lake Valley Golf Club in Niwot, CO. We had two musicians and violinist and cellist that performed. They were very accommodating as we started the booking process and very professional to work with. On the night of the event we could not have been happier! They arrived early, were ready to play on schedule and their music was beautifully performed. We hired A Lyric Ensemble for a Special Corporate event her at Wind Crest, Highlands Ranch, CO.. They are very professional and provided a few hours of entertainment for our residents. The residents RAVED about the ensemble and event asked for them to come back again! Would highly recommend this professional and talented group. -

We had the violin, guitar, and cello trio play for the ceremony and reception. The music was exceptional, with just the right mix of contemporary and classical.
Dennis, the guitarist, was generous enough to invite me to sit in on guitar for a couple special songs for my stepdaughter, making the day even more memorable. -

I had a great experience with A Lyric Ensemble. I didn't hear all of the prelude/postlude music, as I was off doing photos, but from what I did hear (along with reviews from my guests) they were awesome. I asked for them to play "Good Lovin'" as a recessional, which they did, and it sounded great. I really enjoyed the combination of Violin, Guitar, and Cello. It isn't a normal trio, but it worked gorgeously. -

We had Lyric Ensemble play for our Wedding Ceremony and Reception, and found them nothing less than great. Talented, professional, easy to work with, all in all solid performers with a passion for what they do. Easy to recommend with no hesitation. -

My wife and I (and our guests) were thrilled with the string trio we had for our wedding. In the lead up to the wedding, Kimberlee was incredibly responsive and helpful - she replied quickly to all the emails I sent her. Also, I appreciated that she was very upfront about the fact that she would not be able to perform that day...but the cellist she sent in her place was great! All thumbs up! -

A Lyric Ensemble is a wonderful group for ceremony music and I would recommend them to anyone. Kimberlee is very responsive, professional and easy to work with. The music samples and reperatoire lists on the website are very user friendly. We had the cello and guitar combination for our ceremony and selected classical reperatoire. It was lovely. I'm very happy with our decision to go with Lyric Ensemble! -

Beautiful Music!! Lyric Ensemble (trio) were the musicians at my daughter's wedding March 16, 2013 in Estes Park, Colorado. Our initial contact with Kimberlee was through email - she was very professional and it was obvious that she had extensive experience as a wedding musician. She had the details worked out early and the contract in the mail promptly. She went over the music selection with our daughter and son in law and recommended names of soloists she had worked with before and trusted to be cohesive to the ensemble. On the day of the wedding we were so busy that we left all the details up to them and Lyric Ensemble totally surpassed our expectations! They knew exactly what to do at all times and played AMAZING music that matched our taste, receiving many compliments from the guests. I would definitely work with Kimberlee again and I would highly recommend the Lyric Ensemble for your wedding or for any event!! -

I hired the Lyric Ensemble for an open house event for my business. I remember thinking, why don't people do this more often! Weddings are a natural fit for such ensembles, but they're wonderful for other gigs, too. I was most struck by how well Kimberlee and her companion musician adapted to the small venue of our event. It was raining outside and they ended up playing indoors. They were neither too intrusive nor drowned out by the conversation of the event. It added such a lovely, warm and welcoming back drop to a wonderful evening. It was fun, too, to hear the trained musicians in the group comment on how well they played. I highly recommend them. -

I hired the Lyric Ensemble for an open house event for my private counseling practice. It was a perfect compliment to the venue and setting. I remember thinking to myself, why don't people do this more often! Everyone loved the ambiance and mood created by Kimberlee and her companion on violin. Despite the fact that the venue was small, the Lyric Ensemble's music was neither too intrusive nor were they drowned out by conversation. They really know how to meet you where you are and help create the perfect atmosphere you're looking for! Highly recommend them. -

I have asked A Lyric Ensemble to perform at our annual company banquet for many years, and plan to continue using them in the future. The feedback I receive about the music from those attending the event is always very positive. Because we use A Lyric Ensemble each year, I sometimes ask them to make changes to the type of music played throughout the evening, and they have always been very happy to accommodate. The quality of service is exceptional and the musicians are very friendly and professional. If our event goes over the time limit, the musicians are flexible and work to meet our needs. I would highly recommend A Lyric Ensemble for any of your company events, and have already recommended them to others both inside and outside of the company. -

Kimberlee and Lyric Ensemble performed for my wedding in Boulder in August. They were very helpful & flexible in selecting the music. My husband and I had wanted a particular song played during our ceremony which was not on their repertoire. Kimberlee and Lyric Ensemble performed for my wedding in Estes Park in July. They did a beautiful job and were extremely helpful in selecting the music and atmosphere for the ceremony. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is having a ceremony in Colorado and wants to add a special, elegant touch to the event. Professionals From Start to Finish!
Lyric Ensemble were class acts from the beginning. They were patient with my responsiveness amongst the wedding planning chaos, and they listened to my desires to ensure the selected music fit my vision. They had no issues with sticking to more classical arrangements for the ceremony while keeping the cocktail hour more modern (playing several Beatles songs, my sister’s favorite band). Overall, we were very pleased with the quality and service provided! -
