The florals were above and beyond anything we imagined. The bouquet was stunning unlike any thing we had ever seen. The tenting and table set ups were gorgeous. He organized our events to perfection. Unbelieveable! Absolutely beautiful work.

Lavish was everything and MORE!
There aren’t enough words to describe the amazing work Lavish did for our wedding! Ralph & his team went above and beyond for us. Although I had a clear vision on what we wanted our look to be, they surpassed my expectations! Since the beginning conversations during the proposal process to the sample, the service was amazing. We were blown away when we went to our sample and saw the beautiful creation Ralph and his team put together. The day of was a dream come true and Lavish had a huge part to do with it! I just had my wedding on 10.20.2022. I had my wedding at Bakers Cay and I wanted the Flower arch, flower wall and I had a certain vision. I am not good with flowers like I dont know names I am not really good with that. But when I went for my mock up I noticed what I liked and what I didnt like and I just want to mention Rafael was SO HELPFUL and SO PATIENT because I practically changed the entire vision that I told them initially. But they were so patient and so kind to me. On my wedding day I was in AWE of how beautiful my flowers were. From the ceremony, to cocktail hour and to reception. My flower wall was BREATHTAKING. I could not be more grateful to have hired lavish. Rafael and his team are SO TALENTED. Thank you for creating exactly what I have envisioned for my wedding day. I am forever grateful! -

Between postponing to a new date due to COVID19 and changing my mind on florals throughout the process, he and his team were professional and very fairly priced. Simply THE Best
A Lavish Event Design was recommended to me by my wedding planner. I had seen them tagged in so many different planners' and photographers' instagram/facebook posts, so I knew that they were well known in the south florida area. They did such an incredible job!! I had one or two phone calls before the event to go over all the details. All that I sent Rafael was some inspiration pictures for the center pieces and the bouquet and he did the rest! I was a little nervous that we didn't talk much about what the centerpieces would actually look like (compared to the inspo pics), but wow it was the best surprise seeing the reception room all set up for the first time. Literally all of the arrangements he made were way more beautiful than I could have ever imagined just from looking at my inspo pics!
Rafael was so great to work with, he was super helpful in trying to keep the total bill within my budget. I really have nothing bad to say about my experience! Would highly recommend to anyone getting married in south florida!! -

Spectacular!
Rafael and the entire lavish team went above and beyond for our wedding... they truly outdid themselves. The moment we walked into the showroom for our sample, we fell in love! The moment we walked into the reception, I couldn’t stop crying. Everything we had talked about was perfectly executed AND MORE! Rafael paid attention to every single detail of our wedding. From the dream bouquet, to the gorgeous centerpieces to our jaw dropping head table and not to mention, the draping flowers over our double bar. Our flowers were above our expectations, every single detail was flawless. We kept all of our flowers and handed them out to people to make their day after the wedding. We are 11 days after the wedding and my bouquet is still in a vase in our kitchen.
We have a 9 month old daughter and Rafael was so accommodating to putting together a beautiful wagon for her to go down the isle in. Our ceremony was on the beach and we had a boardwalk made that looked amazing and pulled the whole thing together. -

Not only was the welcome dinner, ceremony and reception decor absolutely unique and stunning; they assisted with hiring all entertainment for the welcome dinner and after party post reception. Rafael spent weeks assisting me with contacting various talent/entertainment companies to compare talent and cost - the end result was perfection! From the stunning floral arrangement that draped the gazebo to the LED screens and laser beams at the after party...we can’t thank this team enough!

Rafael's design literally took my breath away, as well as my guests. Many of them asked for his information afterwards saying it was one of the most beautiful weddings they've been to! The man is amazing at what he does - HIRE HIM! I am "type-A" personality, and was very particular in what I wanted. Raf fully captured it all and then some. You do need to carefully check the proposal he writes up as there were errors/miscommunication, but that's to be expected with how busy he is and how many weddings they do. Bottom line, he was worth every penny and even went above and beyond to add extra things on the fly to make it even grander! Thanks so much Raf! -

Amazing Floral Designer!
Rafael is the best at his craft! His attention to detail was evident throughout his work. I received so many compliments during and after the wedding weekend about the flowers and decor. You definitely want to work with him for your next big event or wedding! There were a few discrepancies with what we had talked about and what I received on the day of, so be sure to confirm all details several times before your big day! -

I planned my wedding in 3 months, but did invest time and money into the event. I was really optimistic about hiring Lavish. I communicated with Stephanie by email and phone, but never met her.
Things I loved about Lavish were my bridal bouquet which was an absolute dream. It was large and filled with cascading phalaenopsis orchids. I couldn't have imagined a more beautiful bouquet.
The dance floor wrap Lavish provided was stunning and looked just as fabulous in person.The florals they created for the welcome sign were also great! Those were definitely the highlights.
Where did they miss the mark... with everything else. I communicated wanting white flowers in my centerpieces and there wasn't a single one. I also requested minimal greenery which I felt could've definitely been less.
As I looked out the window during setup, I was very disappointed. The table runner / low centerpieces were tall and obstructive. Fortunately my wedding planner went to work and had them make changes ASAP.
Before the wedding, I sent Stephanie inspiration photos with tropical colored florals and what I received were more garden colors. I even sent her pictures of the ties / favors with mostly pinks and whites, yet the florals were mostly peach. Perhaps this is why Stephanie refused to do a trial. She claimed it was because we were one week before the wedding, but I don't see why a small sample couldn't be created.
The boutonnieres for children were hideous and measured 6 inches. It had an ugly white ribbon and was disproportionate. The bridesmaid bouquets were also filled with peach and orange with little to no pink.
I paid for a white aisle runner for the ceremony but it never made it and there was no mention of it.
The cocktail hour florals were in large vases like the ones you buy at Publix or Quality Wholesale in Miami for under $5 a pop. For my almost 5 figured payment to them, I really expected something spectacular all around.
The staff was extremely unprofessional and started to criticize me in Spanish in front of my family who also speaks Spanish and quickly advised them of their behavior. The staff claimed I had not paid my bill, which was totally untrue as I made one payment in full prior to the wedding.
The florals were beautiful, but were unrelated to the colors and tropical look I was trying to accomplish. I would not recommend using them to anyone who has vision and wants to get what they discuss and pay for. Never once did they reach out to me to see how I felt about the florals. -

Our experience with Rafael, Shayla, and A Lavish Event Design was absolutely unacceptable, unprofessional, and deeply upsetting. If you're planning a wedding or special event, I urge you to read this before trusting them with your time, money, or memories.
We hired them for our March 2025 wedding in the Florida Keys and spent months carefully planning a tropical floral design, including very specific elements like amaranthus, orchids, and anthurium. We paid them thousands of dollars for a contract that clearly outlined our vision. On the day of the wedding, we were shocked to see completely different flowers—roses, of all things—used across our bouquet, aisle florals, and chuppah. Not only were these not what we selected or paid for, but they didn’t remotely match our agreed-upon aesthetic or color palette.
Even worse than the bait-and-switch was the response we received. Rafael, the co-founder, called me and proceeded to scream at me for over 30 minutes—telling me my preferences were “tacky” and that he didn’t like my inspiration. He told me directly (and yes, I have the recorded call) that he decided to change the florals to match his preferences because what he delivered was “similar enough.” That’s not just insulting, it’s profoundly unprofessional and unethical.
No one on their team informed us ahead of time that they were planning to substitute anything—there was zero communication or attempt to discuss alternate options. And after the event, they stopped replying entirely and blocked our phone numbers, refusing to acknowledge any wrongdoing or offer a resolution.
The flowers they used were not just incorrect—they were significantly cheaper and not aligned with the contract we signed. This isn’t just a case of a business making a mistake—it’s a case of a vendor knowingly ignoring a client’s wishes and doing what they wanted instead.
Please, do not give your money to A Lavish Event Design. I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone, especially not during one of the most important moments of your life. -
