    Amazing Tent Vendor!

    A Grand Event Tent & Event Rentals were amazing. They were very responsive throughout the whole wedding process and were very budget friendly. We had an amazing wedding and the tent was setup beautifully! I couldn't have asked for a better tent vendor!

    Great experience with this vendor!

    The team at A Grand Event were really easy to work with, flexible and patient as we developed our event concept, and very professional throughout the process. We had a small backyard wedding and our tent and rentals really made it feel like a special occasion! The setup and cleanup teams were easy to work with and efficient, minimizing stress for us on our big weekend! Would definitely recommend this vendor for your next event!

    We reached out to A Grand Event for our wedding and from the very first phone call, I knew they would take care of us. No surprises, communication was clear, and the whole team was super professional.     Excellent work and creativity!

    We were so thrilled with all aspects of A Grand Event’s work…they created a beautiful space with what we had to work with for our daughter’s wedding. It was truly transformed! They were extremely professional, responsive and just a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend them.

    Great experience with a great team!

    We have used Grand Event two or three times and each time they provided excellent service. Delivery and pick up were always at scheduled times. They erected the tent efficiently checking and rechecking to be sure all was as it should be. When an unexpected problem occurred, their serviceman came out on Thanksgiving Day to handle it. Our Thanksgiving celebration for 40-50 people was made more enjoyable having plenty of room to circulate and socialize in your warm brightly lit roomy tent.

    Easy to work with!

    We had a last minute need for just a dance floor and A Grand Event came through! Special shout out to Eleni for quick response and great communications. I (mother of bride) was thrilled to arrive and find the beautiful floor in place earlier than I expected. The dance floor helped make our event a success - something you only notice if it’s not there! So happy to have called A Grand Event because it was easy to solve our problem and the price including delivery and pickup was excellent. Thanks! PS no pictures because it was full all night! :)

    5 stars for Grand event

    We had a great experience with Grand Event for our 60 person wedding. Eleni was very responsive and flexible with our contract throughout the whole process, and even let me add tent walls the day before the installation when I got nervous about the weather.
    Set up was very quick and on time, and the space looked fantastic!

    Large Corporate Symposium was a breeze

    I have worked with other event rental companies and no one, literally no one, is as reliable and responsive as A Grand Event! Every email was answered, every question was addressed, and their entire staff was so professional. They were on time to deliver and pick up the items, and did a wonderful job! The quality of the rentals was great, things weren't dirty or unstable as we've experienced with other companies. We will absolutely be using A Grand Event for our next Symposium!     Great Service and Beautiful Tent

    I recently had the pleasure of working with Ali from A Grand Event, and I can’t say enough about the exceptional service we received! From the very beginning, Ali was incredibly helpful and responsive, answering all of my questions promptly and providing valuable suggestions to ensure our event went smoothly.

    The setup team that came to install the tent was equally impressive. They arrived on time for both delivery and takedown, demonstrating professionalism and efficiency throughout the entire process. It was clear that they took great care in their work, and their friendly demeanor made it a pleasure to collaborate with them.

    The tent itself was in fantastic condition and truly elevated our event. Even though we experienced some rain, the atmosphere inside was nothing short of magical, especially with the stunning lights that they added.

    All of our guests thoroughly enjoyed the event and commented on how beautiful the setup was. I can’t thank Ali and the A Grand Event team enough for their hard work and dedication. I highly recommend their services for anyone looking to make their event unforgettable!

    Niece Wedding

    A Grand Event made my experience magical for my niece wedding. They were very responsive to all my question even suggesting ideas. Casey was amazing very quick sending me the contract and working with me on adjustments because we added more things to make this day be special. Deliver was spot on!! They were fast putting up the tent, and removing the tent. In addition they explained about the lighting feature we had. We were missing cushions they delivered it the next day in the morning. I highly recommend A Grand Event if you’re looking for one they were very professional. I look forward to using them again.

    Beautiful tent!

    Prompt and professional

    The team at A Grand Event is excellent. When COVID-19 forced us to cancel our 120-person wedding, we decided to hold a small, family-only backyard ceremony. The team at A Grand Event was efficient, responsive, and professional. They quickly arranged an onsite visit, where they mapped out a tent design and floor that would give us as much room as possible for the reception. They also lined the perimeter with bulb lights, which made the entire thing feel pretty magical once the sun started to set. The set-up and breakdown processes were seamless, and the tent itself felt very sturdy and secure. We’d work with them again in a heartbeat!

    These folks really know what they're doing. We had the most beautiful twinkle light tent-setup for our outdoor wedding, and it set the stage for an amazing day. Cannot highly enough recommend!

    We rented our wedding reception tent with a dance floor and bistro lighting through A Grand Event and the tent was perfect.     A Grand Event was a great company to work with. Great prices and great communication (we did everything over email). We did have one chair totally crumble into a million pieces but it was later in the night and we all just laughed it off. I'm pretty laid back and understand things happen! I would use them again and refer them to anyone I know.

    A Grand Event was super helpful/flexible when we were figuring out our final headcount and changing our minds on what glassware, etc. that we wanted to use. Everything was delivered and picked up on time and we had zero issues with the entire process.

    A Grand Event was easy to work with, responsive via email, and gave us a discount for paying in cash for our wedding tent at the Hendry House in Arlington VA. They are one of two approved tent vendors for this site and I chose them based on their better reviews. Wes guided me on the various choices I needed to make. We had a frame tent with lights and fans and a marquee tent over the stairs between house and tent in case of rain. It did not rain, but the tent still provided welcome shade and a festive feel (we decorated it with flag bunting in rows overhead.

    One lesson learned (too late for me but may help you): Be sure to communicate as early as you know, and then again in the last days prior to your event, about the timeline. AGE initially gave us a window of "9-12" to set up the tent, and said they'd get back to us closer to the date. They didn't, and I forgot to confirm. I did assume the window meant that at the latest they'd be done at noon, but though they'd arrived on the early side of the window and the tent was "up" by 11:45, they were still securing it and installing weights, lights, and fans until about 1pm. Our decorator was there at 11 hoping to start putting up the bunting. And their large truck was blocking the service drive, interfering with delivery of alcohol, cake, and flowers. All is well that ended well...everyone delivered, tent got decorated, etc. But do talk through with ALL vendors the schedule of the other vendors if you can to avoid delays and anxiety on your part!

    Accommodating above and beyond . . . easy to work with. Friendly and professional. I was so nervous but they made it very seamless. The set up was beautiful. Everyone commented on how nice the tent was. The tables and chairs were perfect. The breakdown of the equipment went just as well. I would use them again!

    The vendor had excellent customer service and answered all questions we had before we ended up choosing them, no matter how small. They accommodated our special request to be able to just rent the chuppah structure and no draping or anything else. It was a very easy process to pay for it online, pick it up, and return it.

    I worked with Grand Event party rentals for my wedding on july 23rd, 2016 in DC. I rented table cloths, chair covers, sashes, chargers, and napkins!
    I must say it was the smoothest vendor I worked with. Even though I don't live in DC, and was only interacting with them via email, the rented items were EXACTLY what i asked for, attived on time, and were in great shape
    Also, i had two RSVPs 1 day before the wedding and sent ab email askig for more sashes, covers and napkins, woth no high hopes of getting any response, but i got a response in less than 5 minutes saying that they can make changes to my order easily.
    It was such a pleasure working with Kristen, and i would definitely recommend them for any upcoming events!

    I would highly recommend A Grand Event! We used them for our outdoor wedding, we rented a tent, lighting, chairs, tables, and such. Wes at A Grand Event was super responsive throughout and was even able to add additional items such as heaters and flooring last minute when we found out we were going to have horrible weather.     They were recommended to me from our venue and it was a great recommendation. I added things as I went and they not once made me feel like they were annoyed I kept adding things.     We rented a tent, flooring, tables, chairs and linens from A Grand Event. Because we had our wedding at a family member's home, they were able to set up the tent early in the week, and I'm glad they did. They miswired some of the fans and the lights in the tent, but were responsive to the issues, and came back out to fix it before the event. They were also flexible throughout the planning process as we added and removed items from the proposal.
    There were a few mixups, like the delivery guys thinking they were coming back to pick up the tent on our wedding day (we got married on a Sunday), and the gift and card table missing off the final proposal somehow. But in the end, the tent looked beautiful, the guests were protected from the torrential downpour that occurred during dinner, and we didn't have to worry about anything the day of the wedding.

    A Grand Event provided the linens and pipe/drape for our wedding! They were easy to work with, responded quickly to emails and were great about adding some last minute items and delivery to our order. The linens arrived during the scheduled window, and the driver was courteous and polite. I highly recommend A Grand Event!

    I ordered a tent, globe lights, tables, chairs, napkins, and tablecloths for my wedding last Saturday. Everything was beautiful quality and set up and tear down was quick and easy. My only complaint is that not all of the fabrics are true to the color samples they have on their website. The standard mint tablecloths for the main tables were perfect, as were the darker green napkins, but what we thought was a pale champagne gold color for the drink and cake tables ended up being a mustardy yellow. It wasn't a big deal since I was a paranoid bride and had a few spare tablecloths available to me, but it would have been nice to be able to order fabric samples before booking. Otherwise, I would certainly recommend A Grand Event and was extremely satisfied with how easy they made this rather large aspect of our wedding.

    We did lots of DIY for our wedding and working with A Grand Event Party Rentals was extremely easy. Kristen was always very responsive to any changes we made in our evolving rental list. The tables, chairs, china and glassware for our ceremony, cocktail and reception was delivered in perfect conditions on Friday and picked up promptly on Monday. It was a real pleasure working with this company.

    I used A Grand Event for linens for my wedding. They had the best price in the area from the companies I quoted and it was great value for the money. The colors I chose matched my wedding scheme perfectly and I appreciated that they had tons of colors to choose from. I worked with Kristen over email and she was responsive and flexible. I also appreciated that they offered a pick-up option rather than being forced to pay a delivery fee. It was a painless process and I would use them again if I needed linens.

    A Grand Event set up strands of pearl lights over the patio of our wedding venue and they did an absolutely beautiful job - I would highly recommend this vendor to any couples who are having part or all of their wedding reception outdoors.     Cannot compliment enough for their flexibility. We had an outdoor event and they were so patient with our needs for "do we tent or not tent". They were so kind with our prewedding decision jitters. We did end up setting up the tent which was beautiful. The chairs were perfect. Compliments to the guys who delivered-- my groom was very happy. Would definitely recommend.

    Our wedding tent & outdoor dance floor was by far my favorite part of our reception thanks to the amazing team at A Grand Event! During the planning process we worked with Wes and he was extremely knowledge, professional and trustworthy. We had 3 plans based solely on weather and Wes was so accommodating and helped give us some great ideas. Our draped tent and chandeliers were out of this world beautiful. I almost cried when I saw it because of how amazing it looked. We had the wedding of our dreams due in large part to the tent and dance floor services from a Grand Event. A Grand Event was one of our favorite vendors we got to work with and I couldn't imagine using anyone else b/c they were so phenomenal!!

    I found A grand event through weddingwire after I was having trouble getting in touch with local DC rental companies to provide linens and a dance floor for my wedding day. I had my event at the Newseum and by using a Grand Event rather than their linen company I was able to save a large amount of money. I went through Wes for everything and he was wonderful to work with. He always quickly responded to my emails and was very flexible when my event order changed several times. He helped me in doing a "mock set up" of what my tables would look like the day of and gave me options of how I could cut costs to stay within my budget. He was wonderful to work with and I would highly recommend his company to anyone needing linens or a dance floor for their big day!

They were quick to respond from the very beginning and were extremely accommodating with additions and changes to our requests. They were thorough, informative and detail oriented. They arrived on time (actually early) to set up and we efficient in set-up and break down. Their set up team far exceeded my expectations.     High quality rentals that made my wedding look fantastic. Delivery and pickup went off as scheduled, during a short time window that my venue allowed. Grand Event rentals had no problems changing a few things to my contract last minute and I had no issues at all with the company or the rentals they provided.

    I rented tables and chairs to use for a party. Wes was very helpful with answering my questions and providing an estimate for the delivery time, on the delivery date. The delivery crew were great! They called me 20 min before arrival to let me know they were on the way to deliver and also despite our area having a huge storm and no power, they picked up on time and called to let me know when they were nearby.
    Although due to the power outage we were unable to have our party, the tables and chairs that we rented were in great shape. I would highly recommend them and use them again!

    I live across the country and flew in to DC just days before my wedding. I found A Grand Event online and sent an e-mail late in the evening on Tuesday and showed up early the next morning - since their website was so welcoming. They had my e-mail in hand within minutes of me explaining my needs. My wedding was scheduled Friday morning and it felt like I was asking for things weeks in advance instead of a day! Linda was wonderful to work with. She had everything I needed and made suggestions of things I hadn't even thought of. I don't recommend waiting til the last minute on these types of things but I am so glad I found A Grand Event and I would recommend them to anyone wanting to make any big (or small) event special!

    Wonderful place, brought the linen, tables, and chairs on time. They helped bring it in and left. We were able to change the pick up time a few days prior so they are flexable.

    The round table for the cake was as described and chairs were white fold outs. The linen were off a little color wise. Some had a little pink tint to them but it looked fine ones they were out on the tables since the lighting was slightly dim but all were still white.

    They were the most reasonably priced which is why we went with them. THey were very professional about everything and would recommend them to everyone.

    I want to thank A Grand Event staff for being so helpful for my last minute thirteenth hour Wedding fiasco when my caterer fell through losing our venue . They SAVED MY DAY, with less than a week I was able to pull together with the help of Wes a last minute backyard tent Wedding for 150+ guest.     Could not have been happier with the service we received. When we first entered the showroom, we were greeted almost immediately but were given time to look around at the different table sizes and chairs. The young lady greeted us again when we were ready to talk. She took down all our information and was able to assist us in choosing the most appropriate table sizes for our needs. Having everything delivered the day before and picked up the Monday after was perfect for us. With all the other running around we had to do, renting a truck to pick up 14 tables and 100 chairs was not feasible. The deliverymen were professional and very courtious as well. Even a tad bit early!

    Wes at A Grand Event was terrific! We were looking for an affordable dance floor because our caterer had offered to supply one for $1000, and Wes was able to give us a much, much better price, including delivery and off-hours pickup! He also was very accessible via email to update my contract when I decided 5 days before the wedding to add on some rectangular tables for special seating arrangements that my venue didn't provide (the venue provided only 5' rounds). The prices were very reasonable and I will definitely use their services again!

    I think Don (together with his group at A Grand Event) was one of our favorite vendors. We had given up on the idea of a tent when some others quoted us outrageous prices and set-up times.

    A Grand Event's prices were more realistic and Don was so flexible in working with us to make cost-effective and practical choices. For example, he helped us figure out what size tent we really needed, and advised us that we could add sidewalls to our order later (when the weekend weather report came out) so that we would order them only if needed. He also came by our venue several times to meet with us and the other vendors and he was always the first one there.

    On the day of the wedding, he threw us into a little bit of a panic because he arrived an hour early so our venue wasn't open yet. But he understood, came back when it opened and did a beautiful job on the setup.

    My dealings with them were very smooth. There was an issue with the reception location wanting the chairs and rental items out by an earlier time than planned, but Grant Event was able to get there a bit earlier and it all worked out.

    I wanted to have a small, very elegant backyard wedding reception, with a tent to cover my guests, the band, cake table, etc. After calling around to different rental stores and having astronomical quotes given to me without even asking for a guest count, the gentleman at "A Grand Event" actually visited my home and told me what size tent I would need, helped me pick out linens to execute the color scheme for my tables, and even referred me to a limo service. They had scheduled to set-up on the Thursday before my wedding, but there was a steady downpour of rain that started on Wednesday and was supposed to continue through the weekend. I was worried that the ground would get too wet for the reception, so I called them and someone was out to lay a tarp down in half an hour, and an hour after that they sent a crew out to put up the tent. They put up the tent in the rain on Wednesday evening and were at my house until 8 pm. The equipment looked brand-new, and the gentlemen even took the time to wipe down each table and chair. Overall, I was extremely pleased with their service and equipment.

    Like the previous reviewer, I also had my wedding at the Hendry House, and chose A Grand Event of the 2 permitted tent vendors because of the better reviews. I also ended up using A Grand Event for my tables, chairs, etc., because -- while other places were cheaper -- A Grand Event had a more extensive range of table sizes that allowed us to better utilize our limited venue space. We were also able to rent some odds and ends through them, like ice chests and buckets, pillars for our altar arrangements, etc.

    We worked primarily with Wes, and to a lesser extent with Kristen, both of whom were super responsive and helpful. We also stopped by the storeroom to make our linen selections, and while they don't have any tents set up because there isn't room, you can see pretty much everything else, so that was helpful.

    We also ended up canceling a few items a couple of weeks before our wedding but after I had sent in the check for the balance, and we received the refund check promptly a few days after the wedding. (We actually ended up canceling the tent on the day of as well, because the weather was unexpectedly perfect, but of course we didn't get a refund for that.) A+ for professionalism and overall convenience.

    A Grand Event Party Rentals was fantastic! I rented a tent, tables, chairs, lighting, linens, and a dancefloor from them. Wes emailed me back quickly about my questions and kept great communication. The day they came to install the tent, it was pouring outside and even worse, the day they came to disassemble the tent, it was also pouring raining. But those guys were professionals and set up and took apart the tent both times in the rain. We received everything when we were expecting it, everything was in great condition, and the service was excellent. I highly recommend them because you will get great service, quality products, and when renting a tent, you want to make sure you are in good hands and they will take care of the rest. I can honestly say, they took care of everything and I didn't have to stress about a thing.

    I got my linens & pillars for the ceremony decor from here, good selection of colors/materials & great quality of linens, they show you what your linens would look like on a table & set it up for you in the showroom which was really nice.

    A Grand Event Party Rentals was wonderful to work with. I had a very simple order of white chairs, and they were responsive, capable and flexible. When the day of delivery came, I had an emergency to take care of during the delivery window, and A Grand Event was gracious and helpful in rescheduling the time of delivery. Pick up was super efficient as well. Highly recommended!

    This company was great. Worked with me to make sure I had everything I needed for the event, even allowing me to change my order a thousand times over to get it right! We rented a tent, dance floor, linens, extra chairs, china, flatware, and glassware from this vendor.

    Beautiful backyard wedding

    A Grand Events truly was integral in helping us put together the most magical wedding. Building out a wedding venue in a backyard is not for the faint of heart - but they were transparent in their pricing and really did an amazing job. This company truly takes great pride in helping their clients achieve their vision. There were some suggestions that they made which we pushed back on due to cost - but its obvious that this vendor really wants their finished product to be as flawless as possible.

    This rental place was reasonably priced compared to a lot of other vendors and offered a large variety of rental products. Because my wedding date was cutting close, I only rented 60 chairs from them which were loaded and unloaded by the guys that work in the warehouse. Ordering process was fast and convenient as the paperwork is filled out electronically after speaking with a rep.

    My wedding took place a popular memorial located on the National Mall in Washington, DC on a holiday. They had lots of experience setting up and breaking down chairs and tables quickly and efficiently. Also, they were familiar with federal permit restrictions hosting a wedding at a public site. They were punctual, listened intently and followed my coordinator's instructions.

    A Grand Event was one of two options for tent rental vendors as required by our venue. Although our choice of vendors was limited, we're very happy with service received. Responsive, allowed for last-minute decisions, and the tent and lighting looked great.

    I had my wedding at the Hendry House in Arlington, VA and A Grand Event is one of their preferred tenting companies. I stopped by the venue the day before and was pleasantly surprised to find the Grand Event team already putting my tent up. I had a chance to chat with a few of the gents and they were just lovely.
    Wes was the team member who helped me with my order, and patiently helped me figure out exactly what I needed. He was just amazing and I couldn't have asked for a more professional or attentive company.
    The tent was beautiful and the lighting was lovely.

    What a Grand Event it was and all thanks to the wonderful people at A Grand Event. They made the whole wedding planning easy. I didn't have to think of anything.
