Wonderful wedding experience !

We have used A Grand Affair for our second family wedding and they are an exceptional catering service. The food is exceptional and Kris and his staff are both friendly and professional. We will be using them again for another family wedding and look forward without hesitation and no worries that we will again experience and wonderful wedding with their catering service.

A Grand Affair

We hired Chef Kris and his crew for our wedding reception and could not have been happier with everything they did for us. His staff was so polite and professional and the food was amazing! He offers a lovely tasting and so many options. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a caterer!!

A Grand Affair went above and beyond for our wedding day. I am so impressed with their attention to detail, food quality, and customer service. We heard compliments from all of our guests even into the next day! I highly recommend them.

Amazing food

A Grand Affair was great! They were so easy to work with. Everything looked great and tasted even better. I've gotten so many compliments on the food since the wedding.
They were also so patient. I was running behind getting ready on my wedding day and they waited until I had a moment to answer their questions.
I highly recommend them.

They are the best

They were amazing to work with! The food was amazing and they were affordable! Everyone loved our options on the buffet! They have such great options to chose from! I love A Grand Affair Catering and would use them again! If you want good food and your guests to love it too call Kris!

Alle-Kiski Area HOPE Center is a not for profit organization serving Victims of violence and abuse. We recently had a fundraiser for which Grand Affair Catering provided the chicken. Attendees raved about the flavor and quality of the chicken.

The event went without any problems at all. The way my RSVPs came in I had to call the caterer numerous times to add to the order but Chef Chris and his staff were always very understanding and patient. They go above and beyond to please you and their food is delicious. The wait staff at the event were very professional and quick with the food and exact with the orders.

We have used A Grand Affair Catering for numerous events. They have become our "go to" as we feel no need to look anywhere else! The food is delicious and we always get positive feedback from all of our guests. Kris is always sure to respond to questions/concerns and is very helpful when it comes to creating the perfect menu for our events. We would highly recommend them for ANY event of ANY size! The prices are very reasonable - you will NOT be disappointed!

They created a custom menu for our breakfast event. There was plenty fo food and the food was hot and delicious. Looking forward to our next event with A grand affair!

Grand Affair Catering exceeded all my expectations for my sons high school graduation party. They were prompt in delivering the food. They provided everything that my party needed, including warmers, paper products, etc.. The food was delicious! My family raved about it and was constantly asking me who was my caterer. GAC is a very professional and courteous catering service and they will always be my "go to" caterer.

We had the most wonderful bridal shower for our daughter and we were totally impressed by Kris and the entire Grand Affair catering staff. The food was simply amazing and everything was perfect down to the smallest detail. We would recommend A Grand Affair for any upcoming event you are planning! Tasted the food at a baby shower and thought is was great so when I needed catering for a
funeral memorial, I immediately thought of them. They were so helpful and delivered the food
right on time to the family. Also used them for a church picnic and everyone complimented the

From the very beginning, Kris and his team were very easy to work with! Their vast experience in the Wedding industry made it easy to have our questions answered and Kris helped us get organized in ways that other vendors hadn’t yet!
We keep hearing from our guests that they loved the food and that they got full (a tough combination to find at a wedding)!!

Using A Grand Affair was the smartest move for our daughters graduation party. The food was delicious and plentiful. They arrived early had everything set up and ready to go before the party started and they arrived after the party to tear everything down. I didn’t have to do anything. We will be using them again in the future for our other daughters graduation party!

This was the best catered food I have ever eaten! They were easy to work with and come highly recommended. You will not find the quality or quantity of this caterer anywhere else in the Pittsburgh area-or anywhere else for that matter! I would have given it more than 5 stars if I could have!!!

Kris gave me a call Friday to make sure I'd gotten his email that A Grand Affair had absorbed the catering company I originally hired for my wedding next month, The Chef and I. I hadn't seen the email so I was certainly surprised! Kris was reassuring that much of the staff had been retained and everything was just as good if not improved from what I had agreed to. He even offered a second tasting for my reassurance. I took him up on it, but here's the catch: I live out of town and was only going to be in Pittsburgh that very weekend. Kris bent over backwards to rally the troops and had a lovely tasting that Sunday morning, with less than 48 hrs' notice. He was right: everything was as good and much was better! He was really easy to work with and bent over backwards to accommodate and stay in touch. The food was divine at the tasting and I can't wait to work with Kris and A Grand Affair at my wedding next month!

To definitely call A Grand Affair for their catering needs! It was the best food I've ever tasted at a wedding. Truly made my daughter's day memorable. Everything was excellent! I haven't had roast beef that tender and flavorful since my grandmother was alive, and that speaks volumes. Kris stepped in for us when we were in a bind and did so graciously. I'm grateful now that the first caterer fell through. Thank you again Kris!

We had the Grand Affair cater our daughters wedding and from start to finish Kris was great to work with. From the time we first met to taste the food and go over the selections for the table settings ,everything went very smoothly. The care they took to make sure the tables were set correctly ,and the head tables were draped and skirted to look very beautiful. The food from the appetizers to the main course were excellent. There was more than enough staff there to handle the whole event. I would definitely use and recommend this cater to anyone.

Once I contacted the company they were very quick on response and set up a taste testing. Also very quickly got response back to any questions or concerns I had. Very personable and staff very friendly. Even after my wedding friends and family are still talking about how amazing the food was. Would definitely recommend to anyone for any occasion!!

We loved working with Kris! For a taste testing, he came to our house and brought us food! It was delicious and we were hooked. Through the entire process, Kris was so accommodating and easy to work with. My aunt requested gluten free meals the day before our wedding and he was able to make it happen! People loved the food at the wedding and were raving about it. In fact, people are still talking about how good the food was! I highly recommend Grand Affair Catering!

I couldn't have asked for a better caterer. Guests were complimenting on the food all night and we barely had any leftover because people kept going up for seconds. Hands down the best!!!!

This vendor is very accommodating and you get a lot for the price/plate. We actually got 3 entrees along with everything else. Originally wanted a seated dinner, but the buffet worked out fabulous and the staff was very good at getting everyone through the line quickly. Kris, the Chef, was very accommodating to our needs which made everything run smoothly. The tasting went well, but the day of the event, the food was amazing. One thing that you hear people talking about at wedding receptions is the food and let me tell you that we DID NOT have one complaint about the food. Matter of fact, people could not stop talking about how good the food was. The food was so tender that you didn't even need a knife and it also had so much flavor. We had a light cocktail hour with only Swedish meatballs and veggie trays before dinner. And for not tasting the Swedish meatballs...they were out of this world! Staff was very, very professional and tended to everyone's needs which was fantastic. A Grand Affair Catering definitely exceeded our expectations and we would definitely recommend their services again!

Chef Kris was absolutely incredible. To start, We attended several taste testings and his was the most unique experience along with the best food. Chris actually came to our house and prepared everything for my wife and our mothers. The entire experience along with the food was great. In addition his flexibility regarding specific dishes was just awesome. He had recommendations for everything but let us tweak things as we needed (much different than other companies were willing to do). He made the decision easy for us to choose him and his company. Communication with him was also a good experience. He was there when we needed him throughout the process. A couple weeks before the wedding he actually came to the house again to finalize everything and answer all questions/concerns we had. The food at the wedding was outstanding as we received so many positive comments from everyone regarding the food and service. We did not have one single complaint about the food or service. We went with 3 entrees and all were outstanding. We even had some Italians comment on how great the stuffed shells were! We would also recommend the carrots and their famous potatoes. We also had a huge bridal party, 27 people, and he was able to accommodate everything. He even asked prior what we all wanted to drink so he had it waiting for us when we sat down at the bridal table when we were announced. Everything from beginning to end was perfect and all we could have hoped for in regards to the caterering process. Thank you to chef kris and his staff at A Grand Affair Catering!!

My wife and I had our wedding reception at Laube Hall and A Grand Affair came up as a preferred vendor. Numerous people highly recommended Chef Kris to us. We were quite pleased with our initial meeting with him and his flexibility during our consultations. He offers a lot of extra perks that many other caterers don't offer, or offer at a higher rate. The food for the wedding was phenomenal. Our guests were extremely pleased and we didn't have a single complaint. I even had a few of my friends who has a small venue for weddings take his card to use for recommendations. From the Beef Tips to the Chicken to the Potatoes, everything was cooked to perfection. Some of my guests said that this was some of the best food they've ever had at a wedding. At the end of the night, Chef Kris boxed us up some additional food for after the wedding in case we were hungry, a great gesture in my opinion. The small details he puts into his food and for the guests really make a difference. I would recommend him to anyone who wants better than average food at any event for a price that I find to be more than accommodating. He's simply one of the best. Thanks for making our wedding such a hit. We appreciate it.

I would HIGHLY recommend Chef Kris. He was wonderful to work with; he was extremely accommodating and flexible. He provided gluten free meals to some of my family/friends with only a day's notice. I'm a vegan and he provided me with an absolutely delicious meal! I would recommend his potatoes- everyone loved them. All of my guests raved about the food that day & for weeks after! My mother in law said it was the best roast beef she EVER had! He helped make my wedding day stress free! I am so glad we went with his business for our wedding!

A Grand Affair was so incredibly easy to work with and were more than willing to go out of their way to help the students at our prom truly enjoy themselves. Their food is delicious (especially the red potatoes which were a HUGE hit), the staff is easy to work with, and they show up with the intent to serve. Chef Kris was an absolutely wonderful person to work with while planning our wedding. We had originally planned on going with another caterer, but had a bad experience that left a bad taste in our mouths. Chef Kris helped us learn that not everyone was like our bad experience, and gave us a truly remarkable one to replace it. He made a special trip to my home to let my fiancé and I try his food, rather than us going to him, and when he learned that I loved his green beans he made sure to save an entire takeout container of them for me after the wedding! He was always careful with his planning, detailed and precise with what needed done and decided upon, and helped us out as we were setting up the event hall for the reception. The food was incredible and all of our guests were raving about it, his team, and the amazing service and experience he provided for us. I absolutely would recommend him to anyone that is planning a wedding or large event.

A Grand Affair is all that and so much more!! The food is delicious, quality food cooked and served to perfection. Several of my guest wanted to know who the caterer was, it was by far the best they have had at the rounds of graduation parties they had been attending.

I was so satisfied with the graduation party that I had them do my sons rehearsal dinner too!

Chef Kris catered my sons graduation party . We had nothing but great comments about how awesome the food was. His stuffed cabbage rolls and cheesey potato bake are out of this world. A Grand Affair Catering had my guests raving about the food, We had a picnic wedding on May 10 at the Millvale Pavillion, Even in the rain they kept the grills going and the guests happy. They were creatiive with menu planning. The price was very affordable and a great value.

We had a few last minute add on meals within a few days of the event and The Grand Affair was

"The Grand Affair" Catering service of Chris Pryzbylek did an outstanding job of serving a exceptionally delicious luncheon for 35 people at the Presbyterian Women's luncheon at the Frist Presbyterian Church of Tarentum, Pa. The ham, chicken marsala, glazed carrots, red potatoes, salad and rolls were excellent.
The glazed carrots and rolls were beyond delicious. Thank you Chris for your delicious food and gracious service.

Kris is a very chill guy that was super easy to work with. He even brought the test tasting to us! The food was amazing and he worked around my budget for us. He also spent time really talking to us about how the day of the wedding works all around which was super helpful. I have had food from him in the past and will use him again as needed in the future.

We were very happy with A Grand Affair Catering! We tried several different caterers around the Pittsburgh area and Kris definitely put on the best presentation with great tasting food! We chose our menu and we had quite a few options to pick from! They were there to decorate the day before the wedding and did a great job. They were very professional throughout and the decorating was fantastic. Certainly a great value! All of our friends and family thought that the food was terrific! We did hit some minor bumps in our email communication and I also wish we would have signed our contract with a lower number of guests since that number cannot be taken away from once signed leading to less food waste/leftovers/expense. All in all I would definitely recommend A Grand Affair for there great services and great value!

After the tasting he wouldn't get back to me. I reached out once to follow up. He responded, said I was in the "que" for a quote and that's the last I've heard from him! Wedding planning is stressful enough! Shouldn't have to worry about this stuff!

Terrible! Very little communication once the deal was entered into

My daughter made preliminary wedding plans with them and were waiting for their tasting to finalize everything. THREE hours before their testing, A Grand Affair Catering EMAILED them to tell them that they cancelled my daughters wedding catering after giving her date away to other couples. My daughter and her fiancé did everything that was asked of them. Kristopher the owner lied to her and said he tried calling her that day. Which is beside the point- they had no right to give away their date and never notify them before they did it! I have reviewed them on Angie’s List, Yelp and BBB.
