Exactly what we wanted!

A reliable vendor with reasonable prices. We sent pictures of what we had in mind and they created almost exact replicas of what we were thinking. Gorgeous bouquets and displays!

No worries they're on it!

A Delicate Petal was the Florist for our Wedding. They were the preferred vendor for out Venue. We had an option to choose another vendor of our choice but are so glad we used them. We met with Estefany in January to review options for flowers for our Wedding. We came up with an initial plan with some options. In February, we solidified everything, finally choosing bouquets for the Bride and Matron of Honor, Boutonnieres for the male members of the wedding party, corsages for some family, flowers for the cake and flowers as centerpieces on all the tables at the reception. Everything and I mean everything looked spectacular. It was all promptly delivered and arranged at the venue for us on Wedding Day. Yes, we had some worries with other vendors but A Delicate Petal was on point at all times up to an including the day of the wedding. We would recommend them for anyone’s floral needs.

Stunning Florals!!

We looked at quite a few florists before we found Melissa. She was the only one who really understood and listened to what I wanted to do. She was SO patient with any changes I wanted to make. She helped make suggestions and really put in a lot of time and effort to make sure we got what we wanted. Her proposals are so easy to understand and it really helps give you a picture of what everything will look like! Day of, the florals were absolutely better than what I could have hoped for. She absolutely nailed my vision and I couldn't be more thrilled! I can't recommend her enough. Thank you, Melissa for the time, energy, and passion you put into our day. I appreciate it so much!

Amazing flowers

Melissa is absolutely amazing. She listened to all my ideas that were all across the board, and made my vision come to life. I was speechless when I received the bouquets for myself and the bridesmaids. She also did a few centerpieces and flowers for the guys. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing a florist.

Amazing!

Melissa and her crew did an AMAZING job on the flowers for my wedding!!! They were literally the most beautiful flowers I have ever seen. Everything from the bouquets, to the centerpieces, to the garland, to the corsages were stunning! I highly recommend them. They brough my vision to life!

Our original Florist ended up backing out of doing flowers for our wedding and looking back I'm so glad they did! A Delicate Petal was able to create the flower arrangements I dreamed of! Shelby was so nice and made sure my dreams came to life. My wedding would not have been the same without them!

A Delicate Petal was beyond wonderful! I worked with Melissa and Whitney and they both were so quick to respond to any questions I had, they worked within my budget, and they set up everything for a very reasonable rate. I knew exactly what I wanted and they were able to accommodate all of my requests! I even asked for additional items a couple weeks before the wedding and they added them on without hesitation. I truly feel the ladies at A Delicate Petal only want their brides to be happy and they will do just about whatever to make that happen!

The ladies here did wonderful. I went into our first meeting with no hope of getting any flowers other than a bouquet and boutonniere since they were included with my venue. But they convinced me to think of ideas for centerpieces (I had been planning to DIY them) and see what they could come up with. I'm so glad I did as they were VERY affordable and actually worked out cheaper than me doing them myself. Not to mention the time and hassle it saved us. The centerpieces were a wonderful touch to the tables and I couldn't not have done the job they did.

The consultation was a breeze and I couldn’t have asked for anything more. They showed up at the venue at the requested time and set everything up before I arrived. Everything was beautiful and just as I had imagined. Melissa and her team really know what they are doing and they will work with ANY budget.

Our flowers turned out so wonderfully! I was in love the moment I saw my bouquet and then further excited upon arrival to see the centerpieces and various flower arrangements they were absolutely stunning!! I loved that they exceeded anything I tried to imagine in my head! Everyone was complimenting how beautiful they were and did not hesitate to help find a place in their home for them and the end of evening! Highly recommend!!

Such amazing, gorgeous flowers provided by this company! I worked with Whitney during the consultation and she was so understanding with my lack of floral knowledge and when my MIL was lost and pushed the meeting back an hour. She worked with us showing us different options based on just colors and general pieces I was thinking of and WOW... I couldn't have asked for a more perfect bouquet. Exactly what I envisioned in my head showed up on my wedding day. Not just my bouquet either, but every floral piece they made for us was well thought out and clearly had been made carefully and delicately. Thanks Whitney and Melissa!

Choosing A Delicate Petal by Melissa was one of the best vendor decisions we made! All flowers were SO beautiful, I'm still obsessing over them nearly 3 months later. When I met Melissa she was very personable and I felt that I would receive the floral service that I needed from A Delicate Petal. I was only having a small wedding, but I wanted beautiful flowers. I told her what I wanted for my bouquet and she was able to create it for me. My maid of honor and groom and best man's boutinaires were made as ordered. On my wedding day there was a slight miss up with the delivery (not by fault of Melissa) and when I called Melissa she immediately sought to remedy the issue and everything worked out well. I was more than pleased! Melissa also as a request of mine delivered the flowers that were to top my cake to the bakery. So not only did I have fresh flowers for the wedding, but also some on my small bridal cake. I was pleased with the service I was given and I would use Melissa's services again if needed. My jaw dropped when I saw the main ceremony flowers you had in urns and then turned and saw your amazing team assembling the stable chandelier…wow. Everything you did was simply breathtaking. Your team knew exactly how to change something due to the windy conditions for the cocktail table flowers. And then those beautiful bridesmaids bouquets and not to mention how stunning Devin’s was too. I’m enjoying a couple bouquets now in my home and still can’t believe how you did everything beyond our expectations.

I could go on and on but I just had to tell you that it sure is nice to find people that really care about what they are doing for a living. I can tell you love what you do and know how to hire the right people that love what they do.

After having my florist bail on me 3 months before my wedding I was referred to Melissa and I am SO glad I did. Within 24 hours of my florist bailing I had an appointment with Melissa set up. The day of the wedding Melissa was amazing. Not only were the flowers exactly what I wanted but she even brought a few extra which came in handy on one of our tables! I could not recommend A Delicate Petal more. Amazing florist and so easy to work with!

Melissa was fantastic to work with. She took me in last minute when my florist canceled. I live out of state and was flying in, and she worked around my schedule to make sure we met to go over my ideas. Melissa and her team are truly amazing at what they do. I showed her my inspiration photos of all of the flowers I needed for the wedding and reception and she and her team nailed it! Not only that she stayed within my budget (the end results looked way more expensive) and she was so easy to work with. Melissa is awesome and gave me a bouquet of my dreams even though I had no clue what I wanted. She is exceptional and without her I don’t think I would have been able to design a bouquet. She also did the boutonnieres and they turned out fabulous as well. I would recommend Melissa to any bride or anyone that is getting flowers for any occasion. Oh and when she came to deliver my bouquet and saw me she tried up, now that is someone who truly cares about her clients. The flowers for our daughter's wedding were magnificent--white roses and blue/teal orchids. The ribbons were white with blue pins. I loved the attention to detail. Thank you Melissa for your professional touch.

Melissa provided flowers for our wedding ceremony and reception in July, and we couldn't have been happier with her arrangements. They were absolutely stunning! She was very easy to work with and responsive when I (or my mom!) had questions. I know very little about flowers and only gave her color ideas, and she put together some very creative, budget-friendly arrangements. Her prices are reasonable, especially with the high-quality work she provides. We would definitely recommend A Delicate Petal!

Oh how I love my flowers! And Melissa celebrated my love for flowers beautifully with my wedding flowers! They were so pretty! Such a sight to see! I almost cried when my wedding bouquet began to die, lol. But anywhoo, my dear Melissa was so sweet and great to work with! She understood my vision, and was able to make it happen within my price range. The florist I looked at before her, quoted me at about $3500! No way, not today lady!!! Melissa was able to do the same exact thing for me, for over $1000 cheaper. As brides, we need to save all the money we can! And thank God he led me to Melissa! She found all the perfect shades of purple I desired and made my wedding spectacular and oh so dreamy! Everybody loved them! I had a simple vision, and she made it fabulous! She will always be in my heart :-)

Loved the flowers for my daughters wedding. We were on a budget and the flowers were amazing for the value! The colors were wonderful and they were very accommodating with specific requests such as using a bangle bracelet in the bridal bouquet and finding flowers the bride requested. Beautiful!

The flowers were great! We had no idea what we wanted when we started, but Melissa (I think?) worked with us to find a great set of flowers and color palette. Our flowers arrangements were all beautiful and really added to the atmosphere.

My floral arrangements were beautiful! Melissa really worked with me in finding what I was looking for, especially considering I had very few ideas when I walked in. My primary wedding color was orange, which made it difficult to find flowers, but Melissa recommended dying carnations, which not too expensive and kept in my budget. She helped me develop a beautiful bridal bouquet, and when I found out the cost, she cut out the most expensive part so it stayed within budget.

My flowers were absolutely gorgeous and exactly what I was hoping for. Melissa completely understood what I wanted and went above what I had been hoping for and even added flowers to my cake when the cake topper I ordered wouldn't stand up on it's own. She was a complete life saver!

Melissa was wonderful! I had come in having done research on the type of flowers that would be in season for my event (which turned out to be completely wrong!) And Melissa effortlessly showed me alternatives to my favorite flowers that looked quite similar to my initial idea. The flowers were GORGEOUS and stayed alive well into a month after the wedding. Melissa did wonderful florals for my wedding! She listened to what I wanted with my vision. I wanted to stay with a monochromatic color of flowers and greenery as accents, and everything turned out really beautiful. I do wish that she would've either been a little more creative (she followed my ideas exactly, didn't really provide input/suggestions) or asked me more questions. She was able to do an addition of flowers a week before and did drop-off and pick up which helped us so much. Her value is also unmatched from any other florists that I got quotes from. I felt like we got our money's worth while also getting quality flowers.

One of the main flowers I had ordered for my bouquets arrived to Melissa in an unacceptable state. She was quick to notify me of the situation and to find a suitable replacement flower. In the end, my flowers looked just how I imagined them.

Meh experience

Melissa and Shelby were great to work with. They had great ideas and were excellent at helping me get the look I wanted in my budget. At some point Shelby left and I primarily worked with Melissa. All the promises made early on evaporated and I got lots of "I don't do that" regarding nonfloral decorations (ie table center pieces and aisle decor.) Later she became amenable for a large extra charge that we couldn't afford. My bridesmaids and family helped decorate the tables (causing us to miss events.) I was horrified to learn that vases were rented, meaning if anyone took them from the tables I would owe money to Melissa. Other florists included vases in the cost knowing how common it is for table centerpieces to walk off. So I had to buy my own vases ahead of time as another large, unplanned expense. As it came to 2 months before the wedding and these last minute, unpleasant details came to light, Melissa became less professional and difficult to work with. An additional item I should mention is that her contract was unclear and left a lot of gray area that added to the frustration and ugly surprises. The flowers ended up being less plentiful or pretty as I expected them. I walked down the aisle and thought, "THAT (the chuppah decor) cost x?"

She wasn't the cheapest florist I interviewed, more in the middle of the bids I recieved. I would have gotten more services and flowers had I gone with the cheapest. *sigh*

Melissa is a lovely person and does work hard. I just wish there had been more clarity earlier on. My MIL and many others thought that the flowers were beautiful and wonderful, so clearly my experience colored my view of the result.

Oh, and getting nagged by automated emails to give a review (on a site I didn't work with her on) was also frustrating.

Really disappointed with the flowers at our wedding. The flowers were nothing like what I had asked for. I had a consultation and showed a ton of photos which I also emailed the florist to keep for reference and included a link to a Pinterest board incase they needed more. Then at some point the girl I had had my consultation with left and did not work there anymore. I don't know if that's where things got confusing because I would have been happy to come back in and have another consultation with whomever was actually doing our flowers. On the day of our wedding the woman setting up came up to me multiple times to tell me she couldn't do something the way we had discussed and she didn't bring enough ribbon for down the aisle. Basically I had asked for garlands down the main table and paid a lot of money for it when all it was was some loose leaves laid down. And I know that in my consultation the girl knew exactly what I meant because she mentioned binding things together and then I could take it home and just put in in a circle to keep as a wreath for a while. And I even had photos at the venue of the exact table with flowers that I liked. The flowers down the aisle were small and the ribbons were just long enough to tie them but not hang down like i wanted. Our bouquets were fine just nothing like what I had shown the photo of. And our wedding sign which I had asked to have eucalyptus draped across the top and side just had more loose leaves laid at the bottom. Just really disappointed for paying two thousand dollars for loose leaves to be laying everywhere. I spoke to Melissa about this afterwards and she admitted that clearly there had been a misunderstanding on their part and they should have articulated if anything could not be done the way I wanted. She only agreed to send me a refund check for the 200 bucks for down the aisle with the ribbon, but that was 3 weeks ago and I still have not received it.
