Absolutely Sublime! We love a Day of Bliss!

We absolutely love the engagement and wedding photos taken by A Day of Bliss. These life changing events were captured so beautifully, and we are so grateful for how A Day of Bliss was able to catch special moments and small details. So many of the photos are stunning and have a sublime perspective. The photographers are wonderful people as well, and we were so grateful to work with them! The Absolute Best

I cannot speak more highly of Wolfgang and Chiaki. They are true artists who captured the beautiful moments of our wedding day through exceptionally high quality and creative photos. Throughout the wedding planning process they were incredibly responsive and collaborative, and met with us to scope out vantage points we liked at our venue before the wedding. We were a little nervous about being able to capture photos that highlighted us as a couple and our wedding party enjoying the moments of the day in the midst of a very busy city filled with tourists, but all of our photos were taken with such thoughtfulness and ideal angles, locations, and positioning that the city served as a beautiful backdrop while the real focus of the photos was on us and the wedding party. They also had wonderful ideas of photos / poses to take and traveled to several locations in the city with us on the wedding day to capture a few special shots we were dreaming about. They are top notch, and we were so lucky to have them part of our wedding!

Stunning Photos & Awesome Team

Wolfgang, Chiaki, and Katya captured our Brooklyn wedding and did a flawless job. Their style is ethereal and they are each true professionals in their work. We loved working with them and we're so happy we chose them for our wedding day.

Working with Wolfgang throughout the planning process was great. He is kind, professional, and attentive to details. He was also incredibly responsive each time we had a question or concern, and planning with him was really seamless.

A Day of Bliss did an incredible job in capturing all the special moments we wanted and every detail without ever feeling invasive or intrusive. We never felt they were in the way in our private moments as a couple and with family on the wedding, but they all did a great job of creating special moments for us throughout the day and making sure it was captured. They were also really great with all the more formal portraits - nothing felt too staged or fake, and they did a great job of making everyone feel comfortable and capturing authentic moments.

Our photos turned out absolutely stunning! They really captured all vibrancy and color of an Indian wedding. They caught small moments throughout each event. There are so many photos that you can really feel the emotion jump out of the photos. They also took the effort to get great pictures of all of our guests, something we and all our families really appreciate. Lastly, they did an incredible job with photos of our venue, decor, vibe, food, etc.

We are absolutely floored with how the photos turn out and are so thankful for A Day of Bliss's team. Don't hesitate to work with them!!

Amazing!

Fabulous photos and kind, helpful photographers!

Chiaki did an exceptional job with my wedding photos! I loved all my photos (of which she sent over 800 edited and color corrected!). She captured all the candid moments I was hoping for (genuinely candid!), ensured that everyone looked attractive in the posed shots, and had a level of artistry to the framing of many of her photographs that took them beyond the typical, expected wedding photos. Also, she was so flexible -- met me at the venue a few weeks before the wedding to identify all the locations where we'd take pictures, and always happy to answer my emails. Lastly, she has such a sweet and unobtrusive personality -- you won't feel like someone is bossing you around on your wedding day!

Highest level of professionalism, quality and care

From before my wedding to receiving my wedding album, A Day of Bliss Photography has executed everything with the highest level of professionalism, quality and care. My wedding planner referred A Day of Bliss to me along with a bunch of other photographers to choose from. I was immediately drawn to their beautiful and breathtaking photos and couldn’t wait for the beautiful photos to be captured on my special day. The day of the wedding, could not have gone better. The lead photographer, Chiaki Sato and the crew showed up on time and we started shooting immediately. They made it easy for me, my family and friends to get great shots and enjoy his company all day long. There was so much care and thoughtfulness that went into every photo that it was actually so hard to even make my final selections (what a great problem to have). When I received my wedding album in the mail, I cried as if it was the day of the wedding again. I was blown away at how incredible it was and how it was so beautifully done. All my friends and family say they have never seen an album like mine. It’s perfect. A Day of Bliss Photography was one of the reasons my day was so easy, fun and perfect. Blissful to work with!

I will start by saying I haven't gotten my pictures back yet, and will update the review when I do, but Wolfgang and Chiaki were a dream to work with! They were thoughtful about each shot, but they kept the day feeling relaxed and easy. They were very friendly but it never felt like they were in the way of so many of the special moments that happened on my wedding day. They did not take away from the intimacy of the day for me and my family, but they did create many special moments for us, from me putting on my gown with my mom and sister, to my first look with my husband, it was a day I will never forget. They posted some pictures on Instagram and those took my breath away so I can't wait to see the rest of the images and relive my special day. Thank you Wolfgang and Chiaki!!

Multicultural Wedding

No words can ever express our gratitude to both Chiaki and Wolfgang for the phenomenal job and experience during our 2 day affair. Having a Nigerian / Indian wedding is not very common, but they were able to capture all of our traditions in such a beautiful/ candid way. Exceptional Experience, Unbelievable Talent

My husband and I were lucky enough to work with a Day of Bliss for our engagement and wedding photography. It was, quite simply, one of the best decisions we've ever made--and we could not be happier.

Wolfgang is truly a singular talent (and his team is exceptional). The images are stunning--perfectly capturing the experiences and the emotion behind every moment. They manage at once to convey elegance and love, joy and elation--and we are beyond grateful that we have our memories captured so perfectly, for the rest of our lives.

In addition to being an exceptional artist, Wolfgang is a wonderful human being. He has a thoughtful and chivalrous, gentle and generous nature. He is able to share in your joy and makes you feel as though he is as invested in the event as you yourself.

Amazing team!

I am very thankful to have worked with Wolfgang and Chiaki. They have been so attentive and supportive throughout the whole process. A week before the wedding they met with me at my venue in New Jersey and spent 2 hours touring the venue and taking notes of all the little details I wanted. Chiaki would take pictures of scenery that was important to me to keep in her file and use on the day of the wedding. My photos are beautiful and creative, which was really important to me because I chose a venue with a lot of scenery. Chiaki even ran up to a balcony to capture the same photos that Wolfgang caught on the ground. They’ve been so pleasant throughout such a stressful time. Even after they gave me my full retouched gallery, they still met with me to show me all the images that did not make it in the album and added them to my album. I’m so thankful for them!

dream wedding

We decided to marry at my dream location in Italy, Lake Como. During our research my now husband and I always circled back to the famous Villa del Balbianello located on the Dosso d'Avedo peninsula in Lenno.
The research to find our photographers also took a long time since we were looking for a studio that would capture the essence of this magical place and provide us with photographs we could
cherish as a keepsake of our dream wedding. Needless to say that Wolfgang and Chiaki, the team behind A Day of Bliss Photography were the perfect choice for us, they managed to surpass our high expectations way beyond what we could have imagined, they were always on time and absolutely professional, dressed to perfection and such a pleasure to work with. Responding with a positive attitude, it made the day so easy and stress free. Working with Day of Bliss was an absolute delight. We spent a long time sifting through photographers’ websites and we absolutely adored their photos; they stand out in particular for their use of natural light, and we really wanted a bright, airy feel for our photos, particularly as our venue has a tendency to skew dark. Wolfgang was impeccably professional from our first meeting, and quick to respond to questions.
On the day itself, Chiaki met up with the bridal party and Wolfgang with the groom’s party. Chiaki was excellent at setting up the mood for the day – she took details shots out of the way of the chaos, and would pop back in to ooh and aah and tell us we looked fabulous, tell cheerful stories and just generally help everyone feel more comfortable and excited. She moved very professionally and easily around the action, capturing group and solo pictures, somehow managing to take pictures of everything without ever stopping or unnecessarily pulling people to the side. When we met up in Central Park for our first look, Chiaki was great at noticing little details such as an errant hem or fold and fixing them – she was also hilariously direct with passersby who were in the way of a great shot and would shoo them away quickly. Wolfgang was a calm and relaxing presence for the groomsmen’s getting ready photos; he asked about posed shots and took a lot of great candids without being intrusive. He had a lot of suggestions for how to use the time we had and was proactive about seeking out nice shots around the park. During group shots, when everyone was getting hungry and grumpy, he was able to instill enough humor to keep us going!
At the wedding itself, they were both never in the way of the action, moving seamlessly through the crowd, and taking great pictures throughout. Photos did take a while to come in; I think it was about 18 weeks when all was said and done, but this may vary based on time of year. And the photos are absolutely beautiful – no regrets here

We were blown away by Wolfgang and Chiaki at Day of Bliss. They were professional, creative, accommodating, and flexible. They really understood what we were going for and got amazing and candid shots from our wedding and rehearsal dinner. They were flexible on timing, shooting indoors and out, and made suggestions on where and how to stand to enhance our pictures. We were supposed to get married outside and it was raining so the few moments that the rain stopped, they immediately encouraged us to go outside and captured amazing shots. They knew how important it was to get outdoor pics since we picked Montauk as our wedding destination, and were so attentive to make sure we captured this. We can't say enough good things!

Working with Chiaki on our wedding day was an absolute pleasure. She took time beforehand to know exactly what shots I wanted and what styles I preferred. She organized the bridal party well but was never bossy or overwhelming-- she kept the day much calmer than it could have been. Every shot was amazing-- I wish I could frame them all! Where do I even began with how amazing Wolfgang and Chiaki are? They take the most beautiful photos ever. Absolutely stunning. They have an incredible eye and are true artists. They captured so many beautiful moments at the right angles and I am eternally grateful. Their skills and capabilities make for beautiful photos but what also makes them so special is their character and energy. They are the most wonderful people - kind, warm, and positive. You could not find more wonderful people to be with you on your wedding day. In my case, it made an incredible difference. There was some family drama and venue issues that came up in the weeks leading up to my wedding. As such, there were a lot of things that I didn't have time to prepare for which resulted in a wardrobe malfunction and other things that went wrong. Wolfgang patiently and thoughtfully helped edit my photos after my wedding day so that the issues with my dress were not reflected in the pictures. He was so kind. Every time I look at my photos I have joyful tears. Best decision I made with my wedding was hiring A Day of Bliss.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Wolf and Chiaki!! First off, their photography skills are top notch: not only are they both incredibly talented, but Chiaki’s skills at close up portraiture and vignettes perfectly complement Wolf’s dominance of wider format architectural photography. I never thought I would be one to include any of my personal photos in a review, but I just had to share one for this review because no words can do justice to Wolf’s talents. Secondly, they aren’t just professional, but they are fantastic to be around: they put us at ease, gave us enough direction to put us in our best light while never feeling too contrived, were an absolute pleasure to spend time with, and somehow perfectly blended in to the background during our wedding so we were never conscious about the presence of photographers. Finally, the packages for A Day of Bliss are a wonderful value: not only do you get all of Wolf and Chiaki’s attention on your wedding day, you get digital copies of all of your photos without a watermark, a gorgeous online gallery, and an engagement shoot. I would recommend A Day of Bliss (and have!) without hesitation to even my most particular friends, and highly recommend you consider them for your wedding.

We got to know Wolfgang when he shot our Engagement Shoot in Brooklyn. Within less than an hour in sweltering heat with only his camera (no bulky equipment or assistants), he captured the city skyline and all of the treasures in the area. He worked his magic as the final photos looked as if the weather was a cool, sunny day. Wolfgang is a master at capturing the natural light and framing the images perfectly. We were beyond happy and impressed with this shoot - we used the images for our Save the Dates, our main wedding website photo, etc.

Now, onto the wedding! We got married in Brooklyn in August. Wolfgang and Chiaki were so incredible to work with. They were very flexible with our schedule, and willing to come early on last minute notice. As pros, they guided us through all of our pre-wedding photos, captured the ceremony and party perfectly, and shot wonderful candid and posed photos of the guests throughout the night. They creates a fun and relaxed environment. Again, they just had their cameras (no assistants or massive equipment). They are an amazing team and work very well together.

When they provided us with the final edit after the event, we were beyond happy with the photos. They had exceeded our expectations. Most wedding photos are awkward with a lot of bright flash that either wash out the faces or are unflattering. Wolfgang and Chiaki captured the natural light so well throughout the evening. They captured every single important moment. We probably could have made a final album with 500 photos.

Lastly, they have been a delight to work with throughout the 2 years we were in contact. Wolfgang is incredibly responsive via email and always happy to meet in person. They know their trade so well, so we trusted them throughout the whole process. Wolfgang comes from a fashion photographer background so his work is grand, artistic, precise, and beautiful.

We would 100% recommend working with them. You will be thrilled with the photos!

This review is over two years overdue! Apparently it will be just a drop in the ocean of amazing reviews, and I'm not surprised at all. Wolfgang and Chiaki are incredibly kind, sincere, warm human beings. That makes it so much easier to relax in front of the camera on your big day. More importantly, they're incredibly skilled. I took one look at their portfolio and knew that I wanted to hire them. Frankly, they should be charging more for the quality and package that they offer.
It took me two years to decide on which photos to choose, as they were all phenomenal! My entire family was blown away at the quality. Not a bad problem to have at all! Wholeheartedly recommended with zero reservations!

We are so grateful to Wolfgang and Chiaki, we would not have enough great words to say how incredible they were on our wedding day.
We are a French couple from Paris and we got married in NY last July. From the beginning, I knew I wanted A Day of Bliss Photography for our wedding. For almost a year, my husband suggested to me different photographers that he knew but I could not change my mind about Wolfgang. I was completely seduced by his work and the reviews about him were all amazing and so truthful. I couldn’t believe it when he said yes to be our photographer. I was thrilled!

We wanted timeless and artistic photos and Wolgang knew exactly what we were looking for. He has responded to all our requests and the result is fantastic. I am honored to write this review for Wolfgang and Chiaki, the magic behind A Day of Bliss. They have photographed four family events for me, including my wedding in June. I first found them by spending hours reviewing the portfolios of the top 50 wedding photographers in New York Magazine's wedding issue. They were my favorite portfolio and I was thrilled that they were available. I have spent so much time with them now on four special events that I consider them friends. The photos are absolutely breathtaking. They also spend a lot of time editing the photos to look absolutely perfect before sending to you. This is a tedious process, but they do it beautifully. The finished product is stellar, but the time spent with them is also wonderful. They are both warm wonderful people who are true artists. They are self aware and blend in seamlessly to an event, you do not even notice they are there. This is helpful as I have been to a number of weddings where photographers are blocking the couple and the guests are unable to see. I look forward to my next major life event so that I can ask them to photograph it. My advice is to contact them as early as possible because they book up very quickly.

We met with 4-5 photographers before choosing A Day of Bliss for our wedding in April 2016. From our first meeting with Wolfgang, we knew immediately we wanted to work with him. He was very composed and even took notes, showing how engaged he was in our discussions. However the work truly speaks for itself. As you browse this portfolio, you will notice a storybook quality but also classic style which we simply adored.

He and his partner photographer, Chiaki, operate with the highest level of professionalism. Having not met Chiaki before my wedding day, I was impressed how efficient she worked upon arriving at the bridal suite and also adapted to the pace of the bridal party getting ready. Both of them made our photograph sessions fun and stress-free!

Finally Wolfgang and Chiaki did an excellent job capturing our entire wedding event! When we received our gallery, we were blown away by all the precious details & moments they were able to capture -- many of which were candid! It was such a reward to see our special day behind the lens of A Day of Bliss, in full detail and with artistic thoughtfulness. Plus we did get the rights to download high-res files of all of our photos.

We cannot thank A Day of Bliss enough for making our start to end photography process smooth and memorable. Up until the day we opened our BEAUTIFUL album package, we’ve had an amazing experience with this business. I’m so happy we found the best fit for our style!

I cannot recommend A Day of Bliss enough!!! They were absolutely AMAZING!!! I looked through about 100 different photographers and A Day of Bliss ticked all of the boxes. They had the best quality, eye, candids and posed pictures, overall ability to capture the vibe and price. They were so easy to work with and made me feel comfortable. The pictures far exceeded my expectations, the colors, the silhouettes, the action shots, I honestly cannot believe what a fabulous job they did. It was so much fun to look through the gallery they created. To re-live that special day was priceless. Anyone I show the pictures to can't get over how gorgeous they are. What can I say about Wolfgang and Chiaki? First of all, I spent nearly a year looking for the perfect photographer. What captured my attention was their soft, romantic, bright, and airy shots. These were the exact words that came to mind when I saw their wedding shots. Wolfgang really worked with our budget and did the best he could to personalize a wedding package for us and we truly appreciate it. So many other vendors are familiar with Wolfgang and Chiaki's work including our wedding planner and our videographer. After getting advice from other vendors and reading online reviews, we took the jump and hired Wolfgang and Chiaki and I have to say we are absolutely thrilled with the decision we made. Our engagement, garba, and wedding pictures are absolutely beautiful! I cannot wait to see my album! And taking our pictures was no easy task. My husband and I had our wedding on the hottest weekend of the summer, it was literally a heat wave. And yet our pictures look amazing as if it was the perfect weather outside. Both Wolfgang and Chiaki are professional, curteous, and accommodating. They even dealt with my crazy drunk groomsmen in 100° weather! I would recommend a Day Of Bliss photography to any future bride and/or groom if they are interested in timeless pictures versus trends. I decided to go with A Day of Bliss Photography, having sifted through hundreds of New York-based photographers, for my Central Park Wedding . When I first met Wolfgang, I knew that I could entrust him to work his magic without any direction from me, but my ideas for some photograph styles were more then welcomed. I knew I can rely on them due to their experience and knowledge of the venue. To me, their artistry is perfection and I couldn't be happier with the photos they took and cared for. The amount of professionalism there was throughout my experience exceeded my expectations. I even got the pleasure of working with Chiaki, as well as Wolfgang, and together they were able to capture multiple locations. I would also like to mention their above-and-beyond graciousness. For starters, before the ceremony I was pretty stressed because I was running late but Chiaki projected her calmness to me which was invaluable. After the ceramony, we planned on taking a carriage to a few photography sites but it was so hot that day we were lucky to get the last horse that wasn't retired already. Having said that, the fact that my photography team came dressed so professionally (in black and suited) didn't seem to phase them in the hot sun. After our time ran out with the carriage and we were on such a roll with the shoot, Wolfgang and Chiaki were so kind enough to offer to pull together their own cash to extend the carriage time! These details and so many other reasons are why I would highly recommend The Day of Bliss Photography team. They are truly the best of the best!

We booked A Day of Bliss for our July 2016 wedding and we could not be happier with our choice. We considered tons of photographers in search of the right match for our special day. When we came across A Day of Bliss and saw the beautiful albums on his website we knew that there was something special about Wolfgang's work. He operates with a high degree of professionalism and the process from beginning to end was a breeze. I was so nervous about getting my pictures because my expectation was so high, when our picture gallery arrived all I could say was "AMAZING", every picture was beautiful! From the moment we met Wolfgang, we were unbelievably impressed by how he captured central park and colors that we overlooked every day. But, this initial impression was nothing compared to the absolutely love and awe we developed for him and Chiaki the day of our wedding. We recently got our pictures back and Wolfgang and Chiaki captured exactly what we were looking for and more. Our pictures do not look awkwardly posed like a lot of wedding picture, we aren't awkwardly gazing at each other's eyes, we are laughing and walking, normally. The wedding captured the love and quirkiness that we share as well as our love for Central Park. Once our wedding was over, my husband and I were already thinking of the next event where we would be able to book Wolfgang and Chiaki. By the end of the night, they felt like our friends, close people who knew exactly who we are and what we wanted. I honestly could not recommend them more!! If you get married in Central Park or New York you would be making a huge mistake by not booking them. (It would also be a mistake if you get married anywhere else!)

When looking for a photographer for our wedding I wanted to make sure I found a true professional but at the same time I did not want to break the bank. I have taken a few photography classes so I had an idea of what to look for. When I looked at the photo gallery for A Day of Bliss I knew that the photographer had a creative eye and took quality photos. I knew right away that I wanted to use this photographer, but would it break the bank? I reached out and received a response from Wolfgang who was able to create a package to give us what we were looking for. As far as the price goes, I felt that it was very reasonable for the quality. I will admit, there were a couple other places I checked that were cheaper, but when you compared the quality and creativeness of the photos, A Day of Bliss was significantly better. You get what you pay for and for your wedding day do not go cheap. There were also a couple places that were more expensive but I saw no difference in the quality, so why pay more?
Our wedding was the day after Thanksgiving at 10:30 AM and photos started a few hours before this. Wolfgang arrived at our hotel on time and was an absolute pleasure to work with. He knew several great locations in Central Park to take photos and gave great direction on what to do to make the photo great. A few weeks later, we received our photo proofs on a secured website and they were absolutely stunning. I shared a couple of my favorites on Facebook and had several people comment that the photos looked like they came from a magazine. Yes, they are that awesome. Through the website you have the option to purchase photos through A Day of Bliss or download them. While you could have photos printed anywhere, I would always go with printing through the photographer. Maybe it is just me, but it seems like you lose some of the photo quality when it’s not printed from the original source.

Simply the best. Chiaki and her assistant were rays of sunshine on our wedding day and we are thrilled with the photos. Other people are too. The compliments keep flowing in.

My husband and I both work in advertising on the creative side so we're super picky about photographers. A Day of Bliss delivered! Each photo was composed beautifully. A lot of nice, natural shots too. No cheesy stuff.

Chiaki and her assistant worked their butts off on our wedding day and we are so appreciative. Wolfgang was a pleasure to correspond with. We couldn't be happier. Complete professionals in all ways :)

Wolfgang and Chiaki were truly amazing to work with. Their photographs are exquisite and we are so excited to display them in our home. We feel fortunate to have worked with people who are so very talented and also so lovely personally.

From day one, they made themselves available, offered helpful suggestions, and were generally a pleasure to deal with. A couple of months before the wedding, Wolfgang even came out to meet me and my mom at the venue to scope out the best places to shoot on the day of the event.

When we wanted to do an extra photo shoot in Manhattan following the wedding (which was on Long Island), Wolfgang and Chiaki met us downtown around midnight to do the shoot (after spending hours shooting our pre-wedding festivities, ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception). It was freezing that night - but they made the shoot lots of fun regardless and truly took the most beautiful and creative photos of us in a place that was special to me and my husband.

Both photographers made our guests and us feel comfortable in front of the camera, took truly stunning photographs, and really went out of their way to deliver the best work product possible.

I LOVED working with Wolfgang and his team! So professional and courteous. Their work is TOP notch. I was so amazed with my albums and my parent's albums. My husband and I took a while to get back to Wolfgang with all our album selections, and he was so patient with us. We really appreciated it in all the post- wedding hecticness. He was readily available and very prompt with email and text. The day we shot our engagement shoot was one of the windiest days in NYC. My husband and I fell in love with Wolfgang and Chiaki’s photography when we saw their amazing work on the A Day of Bliss Photography website. Their photojournalistic, creative and fashion magazine like style is breathtakingly beautiful and it captured our attention. After meeting with Wolfgang and viewing some of his clients wedding albums confirmed our initial thoughts and we knew we had to have him as our wedding photographer and it was one of the best decisions we made. We found a true gem when we found Wolfgang and Chiaki. This is how you know someone is talented: when I typed in "classic & editorial wedding photos" on Pinterest, their work is plastered all over the site. SF Bay Area (and California in general) is not short of wedding photographers, but I knew they were the right team for me and I went with my gut and sign a destination wedding package. Btw, they made the process incredibly easy with their online contract/payment system, much more sophisticated than other vendors I working with. This turned out to be one of the best wedding decisions we made.

Being pros at destination weddings (they reassured me of that), they came to California for a whole week before the wedding, met us at SF City Hall, scouted out the venue ahead of time, and spent 12 hours (or more) with us on our wedding day (we had 2 wedding ceremonies) with smiles on the faces the whole time. Our families, friends, and wedding party had nothing but good things to say about Wolfgang and Chiaki after our wedding.

We recently got a couple of photos as a preview and my husband and I are so happy with how they turned out! I had a fear that we would look awkward (we tend to not look so great in pictures), but the photos look beautiful. Can't wait to see more. *happy dance*

Choosing Wolfgang and Chiaki was the BEST decision we made. We just received our wedding photos a few weeks ago (nearly 800 of them) and we could not be happier. The photos were creative, artistic, retouched to perfection; they managed to capture our entire day beautifully. The engagement session with Wolfgang is a great way to ease into being photographed, which can sometimes be uncomfortable. However, he provides direction, ideas and simple tips that result in stunning photos. Their prices are more than fair and their packages are generous (we did a lot of price/package comparison). Overall, I would recommend A Day of Bliss to anyone and everyone...and will definitely be using them again if we get the opportunity!

What an incredible vendor! I cannot say enough glowing things about A Day of Bliss Photography. Their style, vision, flexibility and professionalism made our wedding day and pictures absolutely perfect. I wanted vendors that I didn't have to worry about on day of, especially because I had a destination wedding. Chiaki and Wolfgang spent a considerable amount of time on the phone and in person discussing my vision and were always available by email or phone to discuss changes or ideas. I'd highly suggest getting a package that includes an engagement shoot. This was a great test run and allowed my husband and I to get used to being photographed :). In addition to capturing beautiful, magazine-worthy photographs, Wolfgang and Chiaki were the epitome of professionalism and extremely accommodating with our every request. Not being comfortable in front of a camera, my husband and I chose A Day of Bliss Photography to shoot our engagement photos as a sort of trial run. We felt so comfortable with Wolfgang and Chiaki, and pleased with the finished products, that I didn't give photography another thought in the remaining wedding planning process. In addition, their impeccable service continued even after the release of our photos. Amazing! They were so pleasant to work with and the pictures they took were phenomenal. Very artistic and different. I would highly recommend them and I couldn't imagine working with anyone else.

We researched couple dozens of wedding photographers before making the decision, including the highly-acclaimed names in other parts of the world. I found myself keep going back to A Day of Bliss for their artistic and timeless images.

Wolf and his team have been incredibly helpful and flexible throughout the process, especially as we were planning the wedding from London. On the wedding date, they were proactive and diligent in capturing the whole day.

We recently got the photos back and they were just how I envisioned them to be. Wolf and Chiaki's fashion touch make the images magazine-worthy. The services have been very thoughtful as well.

I would highly recommend ADOB to any future brides.

Truly beautiful engagement and wedding photos! We have never looked better.Looking forward to the albums! Our only wish is that we had more photos but that's not their fault just reduced time due to mishaps during the wedding day. They are a great team, kind, creative and professional!! Wolfgang and Chiaki are the best wedding photographers! Easy to work with and will capture all the shots you want plus the ones you didn't know you wanted. The albums are gorgeous and everything is done in a timely manner with Wolfgang walking you through every step. An email never goes unanswered and every detail of your day is laid out for you before you even walk in. Love them and recommend them to Anyone who wants beautiful pictures !

I honestly can say that I loved everything about my photographers, photographs and albums. They were a pleasure to work with, getting every shot I wanted, and didn't know I wanted, without ever getting in the way. They are quick and precise and are truly interested in making you happy. I gave them a list of shots I wanted and they made sure I had them. They are quick to answer emails and phone calls and are super flexible. By far the best photographers in NYC and beyond !

Wolfgang and Chiaki are truly incredible at what they do. They were absolutely professional, yet they made our wedding attendants, guests, groom, and myself feel so comfortable. They give you pointers to sure look your very best on the special wedding day. The pictures are absolutely stunning thanks to the photographers many years of experience as professionals. Our wedding was over four months ago and we still get compliments from our friends and families about how beautiful the images are and how great the photographers were. Wolfgang and Chiaki perfectly captured our once in a lifetime event.
Since the moment I admired their work and met them both in person
I knew that we were in safe, dynamic and creative hands. The
engagement photos exceeded our expectations; I am still
mesmerized by the emotion they captured and made stand still
forever. That is priceless. The wedding photos are brilliant:
colorful, artistic and quietly breathtaking. I will always remember
the wonderfully talented duo behind and through the images.
I wish I had words more powerful than thank you for the gift
they delivered. I am very grateful and almost wish I could marry

I first met Wolfgang more than one year before my wedding and I was hooked - I knew after meeting him and seeing his photos that I didn't need to meet anyone else. Throughout the planning process, I never had any doubts about going with Wolfgang and his team, and they didn't disappoint. They arrived early, stayed late, were professional and courteous all day, and exceeded my expectations in every way. They were so creative and put effort into each shot to make it perfect. I am waiting to get all of the images from my wedding now but I have no doubt that they will be absolutely gorgeous. Highly recommend!! A day of bliss also offers amazing album choices.

I have since gotten my photos and I couldn't be happier - Wolfgang really captured the beauty and joy of the event! All the shots are beautiful - thanks Wolfgang!

Wolfgang and Chiaki were wonderful and a true pleasure to work with. We used them for both our engagement photos and wedding and couldn't have asked for better photographers. Wolfgang and A Day of Bliss were amazing at our wedding. We decided to have our wedding with very short notice and Wolfgang found a way to squeeze us into his schedule. The pictures came out amazing! He definitely captured moments that will last a lifetime. He was very professional throughout the whole wedding and a pleasure to have around. He made some beautiful suggestions on shots we should take that we would have not considered ourselves. We received the pictures very fast and he was very responsive with our requests for touch ups etc. Cannot say enough good things about him and his team!

Wolfgang and his partner were absolutely amazing at our wedding. It would be hard to trust anyone else after working with A Day of Bliss Photography. It was a great memory to get married on Valentine day, 2013 with the one I love. As visitors to NYC, we did not have many firends and relatives here. But we got enough luck to meet Mr. Wolfgang (from A Day of Bliss Studio) to serve as our professional wedding photographer.
We heard about Mr. Wolfgang from a friend. I felt that he should be really good at what he does when the first time we saw his sample work, which are taken all over the world.
On the wedding day, we got thousands of photos taken by Wolfgang and his assistant from Brooklyn Bridge and Time Square. He can always find the best combination of time to click the shutter, perspective, composition and color coordination. The shooting results were very good(far beyond our expectation actually). Being able to see is easy, but being able to capture that very moment is much harder. Wolfgang had the talent to capture beautiful moments.
I highly recommend Mr. Wolfgang as your upcoming wedding photographer to track the every beautiful moments of your most special day.

It was a true pleasure working with A Day of Bliss Photography, they came half way around the world to capture our big day in Venezia. The images are artful and stunning, we could not have imagined a more beautiful and creative rendering of this, our very special day in November.

We will forever treasure these moments and have the images to recall the special emotions of this incredible fall day in Italy. These amazing pictures could be an inspiration for a romantic movie, we sure felt like stars. It was so easy to feel relaxed in front of the camera and the results are so breathtaking. Most amazing photographers EVER. I feel so lucky to have had such kind and talented photographers with me through all my wedding events. Wolf and Chiaki are hands down the BEST photographers out there. They created such beautiful engagement photos in NYC and I cannot wait to see what we end up with from the wedding. Wolfgang and Chiaki did an incredible job shooting our wedding and engagement photos. Throughout the whole process Wolfgang was extremely responsive to all of our needs (even last minute requests), very professional, and a great value. During the ceremony itself he was very respectful and non-intrusive and produced great images. He also got great candid shots during the reception. We love the fact that he captured the energy and romance of the day. He delivered all of the images to us in a very timely fashion after the event. Overall we would not hesitate to recommend A Day of Bliss!

Wolfgang and Chiaki are amazing.

We liked them before we set foot into the studio. The pictures on the website are stunning; we already knew had found something special.

Researching photographers can be a daunting task, and the more websites you visit, the more things start to blur together and you may find you can no longer tell one photographer from the other.

That isn't the case with A Day of Bliss. Their pictures stood out from the beginning, and never became confused with anything else. Never blurred. Never seemed indistinct.

Meeting with Wolfgang only served to confirm that this was the right choice for us. The beautiful, photojournalistic style coupled with a bit of something from the fashion photography world was something that stayed consistent from the website to flipping through albums of work at the studio. He is easy to talk to, and has a relaxed yet highly professional demeanor that puts you at ease - this is not something that should be taken for granted, it isn't a universal manner that all photographers have.

Wolfgang was highly responsive from the beginning of the process and that isn't something that stopped once the contract was signed. On the day of the wedding, Wolfgang and Chiaki were a pleasure to work with - something that didn't only apply to us, but applied to our guests, as well. So many people passed along compliments to express how kind they were. We knew they were consummate professionals, and everyone else did, too, as they went wherever the shot was, wherever the best angle was, up the stairs, on the balcony, in the grass - you name it, they went there. Through so much of the events, they seemed almost invisible, capturing beautiful pictures photojournalistically, just like we wanted, and to great effect.

Working with A Day of Bliss was a wonderful experience, and we'll never forget the great people behind the beautiful pictures of our wedding day. I most highly recommend Wolfgang and Chiaki.

Everything about working with Wolfgang and Chiaki was easy and enjoyable. We took our engagement photos on what turned out to be one of the hottest days of the year. Despite this, they were extremely professional and fun to work with and the photos we got far far exceed my expectations. It's one thing to take a great photo under ideal conditions but given what they were working with I realize how talented they are. Going into my wedding I felt relaxed knowing they would capture the event well. I'm excited to see how the wedding photos turn out!

Wolfgang was amazing. He was so responsive and generous with his time. Since I had custom designed invitations, I asked him if he could shoot a couple of shots just of my invitations, and they were beautiful pictures. He also spent 3 hours at my rehearsal and rehearsal dinner, and the whole day of my wedding. His assistant was amazing, spending the entire day of the wedding with me, capturing all the moments in my hotel room where I got ready with my MOH. The pictures were beautiful, and we were not pressured at all to purchase anything additional. We got all our photos digitally, and were able to share all our albums online with our friends and family. Thanks, Wolfgang!!

I'm suprised i'm the first one to write a review for A Day of Bliss. Wolfgang and his associate, Chiaki have done so many beautiful weddings. We just had ours at Oheka Castle and I have no doubt in my mind that the pictures will come out amazing.

Wolfgang and Chiaki are a pleasure to work with. They are extremely nice and professional. They have been so patient with us. I asked Wolfgang so many questions before booking him. He let me look at about 3 different weddings... all from the first photos to the last. Brides looking for a photographer should really ask to view a full wedding. Be careful with just seeing a photographer's portfolio. That's usually just a compilation of the photographer's best work. It doesnt give you an accurate idea of how the entire wedding photos will look like. When we saw full wedding pictures, we knew we wanted him to be our photographer.

We havent gotten our wedding pictures yet but I am 1000% sure that they will look beautiful. We had our engagement photos taken by A Day of Bliss as well and they came out gorgeous. We took our photos at the Top of the Rock, Rockefeller Center and around Columbus Circle. Our photos look like something that you would see in magazines. We've gotten so many compliments from friends and family. My husband and I highly recommend A Day of Bliss. They are very professional and the quality of their work is amazing.

Since the day we met Wolfgang, we knew that A Day of Bliss was the perfect wedding photographers for us. Their photojournalistic vision was exactly what we were looking for. Wolfgang was always responsive, and a pleasure to work with. On our wedding day, we had Wolfgang and Tanya as our photographers. Everything was seamless, and they were extremely professional and a pleasure to work with. There are no words to describe how wonderfully they captured our special day. The photographs that we received were all STUNNING and our album is absolutely beautiful. We received almost 700 edited imaged after the event. This did take over 2 months to receive, but it was worth the wait. Not many photographers enhance/edit that many images for their clients and i think this is a very special service that Wolfgang and his team provide. I would highly recommend ADOB as a vendor and i couldn't be happier with the entire experience.

Wolfgang Freithof of A Day of Bliss Photography did an absolutely outstanding job with both our engagement and wedding photographs. We had two photographers (Wolfgang and Chiaki Sato) for both shoots. Both Wolfgang and Chiaki are extremely professional and a pleasure to work with. They took tons of pre-pictures before the ceremony. During the Catholic service they were discrete and did not block any of our guests' views of the ceremony. At the reception, anytime we needed a picture taken with our friends and family either Wolfgang or Chiaki would magically appear. They were fully aware of us at all times and were able to meet any request we gave them. We’re so happy to have such amazing photographs of our engagement and wedding day and we would recommend A Day of Bliss to anyone.

Great wedding photographers!

Their team was super professional and courteous. They have lots of experience and truly captured all the special moments of our event - we have great shots of our venture, special moments, guests, and family. After sorting through many, many, many photographers, we finally found A Day of Bliss and in short: these guys are amazing! Wolfgang is truly an artist. From the moment we met him, he really understood our vision. We wanted photos that were natural and beautiful and he really did a phenomenal job of capturing those special, emotional moments on our wedding day. Even the posed photos read in such a beautiful way. And the colors! Many of our photos were shot at Old Westbury Gardens and I can't even explain how breathtaking those images are. To top it off, Wolfgang was incredibly patient with us, easy to work with and very responsive anytime we had a question or issue. We couldn't be happier with our choice and highly recommend them--both for their incredible work and professionalism.

Pictures speak for themselves and Wolfgang's work is outstanding. He did an amazing job capturing both our engagement shoot and wedding day and I highly recommend him to any bride. If you work with Wolfgang at Day of Bliss, you are making an incredible investment in the quality and value of your photographs. He takes a polished, yet and candid approach to his work, resulting in photographs that I felt like could have come out of a magazine - but at the same time perfectly captured the emotion of the day and of our personality. We are thrilled with the results! The one watch out I would give is that it took a while for him to respond on several occasions and they took an extra month to deliver the final selects. Overall, very happy!
