Tamara did an amazing job keeping us all on schedule and ensuring our timelines were in order. She went above and beyond when it came to planning prior to the wedding as well. Without her help, our wedding wouldn't have gone anywhere close to as smoothly as it did, and we would've probably missed a few vital details during the planning process. We hired Steven and Tamara from A Day Made for Us for both officiant services and month-of coordinating services for our wedding on 4/8/22. From our first meeting, we instantly knew Steven and Tamara were the ones we would be hiring for our big day because they felt like old friends from the start. As a small-business, it was evident that they truly cared about making our wedding day perfect by listening to our wishes and even suggesting ideas that would help make our day even more special. They were both highly efficient in communication and organization throughout the entire planning process. On the day of the wedding, Tamara was a dream to have by my side making sure everything was perfect so that I could relax and enjoy my time getting ready. The care behind every decision she made allowed for my husband and I to soak in our wedding day without any worries of what was going on elsewhere. The ceremony Steven created uniquely for us was absolutely perfect, and we got several compliments about his service. Overall, hiring Steven and Tamara was the best decision we made while planning our wedding. They went above and beyond making our wedding day "A Day Made for Us". -

We received so many compliments on our ceremony as we had family members that were Deeply Southern Baptist all the way to being non-denomination . Somehow you hit that happy medium and everyone was quite pleased. We are most grateful for all the options you gave us, the “ring warming” truly gave each family member their moment to bless us. My wife and I hired Tamara to be our day of coordinator after looking around for awhile and we are SO thankful we did. It was honestly by far the best money we spent for our wedding. If you are thinking about hiring a coordinator, we strongly recommend that you do, and there really is no reason to look further. Tamara went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly for our special day and took sooo much stress off of our shoulders. I can't emphasize enough the tremendous job that she did for us and we are so grateful for her services. HIRE TAMARA! You will be thankful you did. -

Reverend Fricke was phenomenal for our impromptu elopement. After our wedding was postponed a second time, this time into the following year; Rev, Fricke was incredibly helpful and flexible in creating a personal and romantic Ceremony for my wife and I. He even helped in adding some special touches including helping us add a tribute to our friend who passed a few days prior. He was incredibly well spoken and definitely made it feel special and incredibly romantic. Thank you so much for being an incredible and vital part of our special day. -

Choosing Rev. Fricke for our officiant was an easy choice. He officiated my best friend and if she trusted him than I could. Rev. Fricke was extremely accommodating with not only our date (he had a concert that night) but with all of the indecisiveness, my wife and I had regarding what we wanted for our ceremony. Sitting down with him felt as though it was with an old friend and before long we were joking about concerts and having a heart to heart about the stress of being an LGBT bride. The script he sent us was personal and had touching notes about his interpretation of us as individuals and as a couple. If you want someone who truly puts his heart into everything he does, hire Rev. Fricke.

I absolutely loved working with A Day Made for Us. We met with Rev. Dennis Goodwin and we knew from the first time that we had coffee he would be the perfect officiant for us. He did such an amazing job of listening to us and understood exactly what we wanted. He was truly able to convey exactly what we wanted. We felt completely at ease with him and felt like we had full say in the ceremony. I would absolutely recommend Dennis and this company to anyone! -

My husband and I did pre-marital counseling with Reverend Fricke, and our officiant was Reverend Goodwin, both through A Day Made For Us. I received rave reviews from a facebook group for Rev Fricke, and was excited to find a vendor that could do both our premarital counseling and officiate our wedding. Rev Fricke was already booked on our date, however, which left me initially disappointed because I wanted someone who knew Joe and I to officiate. Rev Fricke understood that, and referred us to Rev Goodwin, and told us to chat with Rev Goodwin ourselves to see if he would be a good fit. Let me be very clear: Rev Goodwin did NOT disappoint!
My husband and I had a phone call with Rev Goodwin when initially booking him, and it lasted over an hour because we instantly clicked. We booked him after that call, and met him for coffee about a month before the wedding to get to know each other and talk through ceremony preferences. We'd already had some premarital counseling sessions with Rev Fricke, and since the two are friends, Rev Fricke told Rev Goodwin a bit about us as a couple so Rev Goodwin had some context going into our meeting. Rev Goodwin listened to all of my wedding stressors at coffee, and offered to do WHATEVER we needed to make planning the ceremony part as stress-free as possible. It was so nice to feel heard and understood after that.
He wrote a beautiful ceremony for us and helped us talk through what we wanted to do for our vows, which turned out to be one of my favorite parts of the day. I can honestly say I don't remember other people's wedding ceremonies very much at all, but ours I remember so vividly. We got SO MANY compliments from guests after the wedding about how much they loved (and remembered!) the ceremony. He made the marriage license part easy and painless, and was such a great sport when our photographers wanted to stage a hilarious picture. Thank you so much for helping make our ceremony, and day, memorable, Rev Goodwin. It was perfect.
We also loved our premarital counseling sessions with Rev Fricke. They helped give us a solid foundation on which to start our marriage, and we learned some great things that we have been using in our communication with each other ever since. Our sessions frequently ran late because we just had so much to talk about, because we really connected with Rev Fricke very well.
All in all, A Day Made For Us was the best choice we could have made for an officiant/pre-marital counseling duo. We loved getting to know both Rev Fricke and Rev Goodwin! -

If anyone is getting married or would like premarital counseling rev. Steven Fricke has been amazing and I would suggest him to anyone! He has been so good to us and has become our friend and will always look to him for support even after we are married. He truly cares and has a gift in reaching both sides of the relationship. Seth and I are so blessed to have him come into our lives! We look forward to him marrying us in October! Reverend Steven from "A Day Made For Us" was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was responsive, flexible and genuinely excited to participate in our big day. He was tremendously respectful of our core values and worked hard to make our ceremony as personalized as possible. He has great ideas and thought of things we didn't realize we wanted! He is incredibly thorough and made sure to provide both Ben and I with copies of our vows on the big day, so we didn't have to stress over printing them and remembering to bring them. He even has wardrobe options - he is able to wear formal robes or a suit and tie and even lets you select the color tie! We are so grateful that we selected Reverend Steven. We would 10/10 recommend him for your big day. -

Rev. Steven Fricke was the absolute best!!! I liked him just from our conversation back and forth on The Knot, but then we sat down with him for a meeting and fell in love with him. He is so laid back and just makes you feel comfortable. We talked about just random things, and had a blast. We got along so well with him, and knew he was the perfect officiant for our wedding.
I am a religious person but my (now) husband isn't really, and Rev. Fricke helped us to find the perfect middle ground for our ceremony. It was religious enough for me, but not over the top. He wording for the ceremony was just plain beautiful and brought tears to my eyes. He also left us a print out of the ceremony reading, which I will cherish forever. He was very courteous about our photos as well and purposely stepped out of the way during certain portions of the ceremony as to not be in the middle of shots, so the photos were a little more personal. Just an all around great guy.
His process for it all was very easy. When we left the meeting, he gave us a packet of different things people include in their ceremony- a secular, a reading, a prayer, all sorts of thing. As well as, he gave us a packet of different general vows. We looked through it all and sent him the different pieces we liked, he pieced it all together and sent us back a proof to read and edit as we wished. It was all extremely easy and painless.
His pricing was also extremely reasonable, if not cheaper than most of the other officiants I looked at. All in all, I highly, highly, highly recommend him. -

Rev. Fricke and his team were just absolutely amazing. When searching for an officiant we thought it would be very difficult being a same-sex couple, but Rev. Fricke did not judge us instead he opened his doors and got to know us to help us make our day our dream come true. We highly recommend you not to look any further, Rev. Tea Sent on 08/31/2018Choosing Steven to be our wedding officiant was the best decision we've made in regards to selecting our team for the wedding day! Steven is wonderful, inspirational, professional and honest and was the best officiant we could have had! Every time we met prior to ceremony he went out of his way to meet us, travelling over an hour and accommodating me planning the wedding while living out of town and my husband working long hours.
Whenever talking to him, we felt like talking to a friend instead of talking to a vendor. He gave us advice on how to make our relationship and marriage better as a couple. He recommended books to read so we can be better partners. He gave us fantastic new recommendations to be implemented in the ceremony and has worked with us to have our wedding ceremony made specifically for us.
The day before the wedding he ran our entire wedding party through the ceremony so we would know what to expect and do. On the wedding day he was there on time, knew exactly what he was doing, made both of us feel really comfortable and has done an amazing job officiating our wedding!
My family does not speak English as the first language and he has worked with my MOH on translation and has printed out the entire ceremony in my native language so my family could follow the ceremony on the day of! That meant that my mom and dad could understand every word that was being said on our wedding day. I can't express how much that meant to me. On top of that, he learned how to ask my father in my native language who gives the blessing for the wedding and was able to ask him that in my father's native language as opposed to my father having pressure of responding in English. His wife was even there helping out with last minute tasks without being paid to do so and being really wonderful and supportive. Both of them made our day amazing and we were beyond lucky to have had somebody as amazing as Steven officiating our wedding! -

Steven gave us confidence in our non traditional wedding and ceremony. He took time out of his busy schedule to get to know us personally prior to the wedding, and his friendship felt genuine. He went over specific details to earn our trust and made sure he was a right fit. He even gave us information for other reverends if we were not satisfied! We aren’t religious and he was willing to draft a service based on our on preferences as well as make last minute changes with no hesitation. All with only 2 weeks notice!! We absolutely loved having Rev. Steven as part of our ceremony and we couldn’t imagine anyone more perfect! We made a good friend on 12.15.17.

When we first met to discuss our options he was warm, welcoming, considerate and personable, all attributes which carried through to the wedding service and after. From the minute you meet Steven Fricke, he is your advocate and a man in your corner. He was always available for discussion when necessary, good with response time, and he was genuinely interested in how we wanted our service performed, every step and every word. He was always available as a resource for support and assistance with any aspect of the ceremony when called upon, and we always felt secure that the whole process was well-managed. At the wedding rehearsal and on the day of our wedding, he was on-time and prepared. The rehearsal went off without a hitch, it was an easy and stress-free run-down of what was planned, and on our wedding day he attended to both of us, ensuring we were calm, happy and ready. The service was amazing. We cherished it ourselves, and we received compliments all night from friends and family who said the service was unique, beautiful and well-officiated. In particular, they all mentioned his open and honest manner, and his genuine care in what he does. Through it all, he never allowed us to get lost in the ceremony; it is very easy for the night to run away from both the bride and groom, until they both are left wishing they had more time to savor that once-in-a-lifetime moment with one another. He always made it about us, and ensured we would remember every second for the rest of our lives.
In short, Steven Fricke made our wedding day as special as it was by keeping our focus on each other. We knee he cared, and so did everyone else. -

Rev. Fricke was an exceptional officiant! We knew at our first meeting that he was the one we wanted to marry us on our big day. Such a friendly and knowledgeable man, and we felt ZERO judgement for having a non-traditional, secular wedding. He got to know us individually and as a couple and had such sweet things to say about us in his service. Rehearsal was very well planned out and they suggested many ideas that we liked and incorporated into our ceremony. Our families both loved him as well! Couldn't be happier with this experience! We first met with Rev. Steven several months before our wedding. At first, we really enjoyed our conversation with Rev. Steven and were so excited to work with him! However, in the months and weeks leading up to our wedding, our experience soured. Communication issues arose, where we had asked for our final invoice to be sent over to be able to make our final payment. Even after sending follow-up emails regarding this, it never was. As we entered the month leading up to our wedding, we also asked for a final meeting with our officiant to go over ceremony details, as we had a specific ceremony element we wanted to discuss. Our officiant shared that he would set this up when he returned to the office, but never did. Then in the final 2-3 weeks before our wedding, we could not get a response through either email or phone call. I believe we sent 4 emails and made 2 phone calls, with no answer or response. A week before our wedding date, we ended up having to move on by hiring another officiant as we had still not received our final invoice, our ceremony script/details, or a time for our final meeting. Finally, 6 days before our wedding, we heard back. Our officiant said that he was unexpectedly relocated out of state and was designating someone else to fulfill officiating duties. While it is understandable that things happen, it still doesn't explain why we could not receive a response via email or phone over the course of several weeks. And at that point, it was our very busy wedding week, we were not comfortable starting over again with a new officiant just days out from our wedding. We had really looked forward to working with Rev. Steven but unfortunately our experience was poor.
