Beautiful Charleston Wedding-07/09/2022

Sandra and her team were amazing. We wanted a small intimate micro wedding ceremony and reception, and had limited time to planned it. Communication with Sandra was great and she helped me figure out all the logistics and decorations and made it all happen within a month. The ceremony and reception was beautiful it was everything and more of what we had envisioned it to be, and it was all thanks to Sandra. We highly recommend A Charleston Beach Wedding to anyone planning a wedding in the Charleston area. Our stress levels were greatly reduced with Sandra’s help. Thank you for making our Wedding’s ceremony and reception happened with so little time to plan it and making it such an amazing experience.

Sandra and her team were outstanding! Their ability to flex from Folly Beach to Isle of Palms was easy and communication was great! They were extremely easy to work with and our Q&A sessions made wedding planning significantly easier. We were very blessed with our destination wedding. Kate was always professional and made our guests feel very welcomed. It was comforting to know we were in good hands and could count on them. The cellist, photographer and decorations were wonderfully arranged. We are so thankful for them for making our day special and unforgettable!

Cannot day enough great things about A Charleston Beach Wedding. They did an amazing job! I wouldn’t have changed a thing! Our photos and video were ready so quickly and this group of people was incredible to work with. Definitely recommend using this company for anyone doing a beach wedding! Kate was great to work with.
First I met her as a photographer I was blown away on how amazing and professional she was. Kate spent with me a lot of time and clarified all the details. After getting all the information, everything was simply perfect. She is very organized and kept me and other people on our time line as much as possible. With her help everyone could relax and do their best work, that’s one of the reason why the photographs from the event turned out to be fantastic!
She is also very kind, pleasant, and so easy to work with. I was pleasantly surprised by her sense of humor and at the same time by a serious approach to work! Kate made this wedding day fun, enjoyable, and memorable! She perfectly knows and understands her business.

It is so hard to write a review for Kate because I cannot put together the right words to express how amazing she is. I had the most wonderful experience with her! Its not often you come across a person who truly takes pride in and enjoys their profession, but with Kate it shows. She was the perfect match for us. I spent a lot of time going back and fourth with my ideas and she was right there with me helping me and guiding me. She was extremely patient, caring, kind and flexible. She was the calming presence that I needed during such a hectic time. Our wedding ceremony was personalized to fit exactly what we wanted. I do not think I could have had such a beautiful ceremony without her. Thank you so much Kate- it was a pleasure working with you!

Charleston Beach Wedding and Kate who was our officiant and wedding planner, help us to create a beautiful , small, relaxed wedding at the Folly Beach. We’ve only decided to go for the Beautiful Seaside Ceremony with the photographer. My daughter was playing ukalele and we had our own arch . What I like about the Charleston Beach Wedding was the flexibility, personal approach, great service and brilient communication. Thank you for the great day and you surely checked all the boxes. Our wedding experience with Charleston Beach Wedding was great! The planning process on our end was very easy and painless, which is exactly what we were looking for since both of us are very busy and live in DC. The ceremony location on the beach was great, not crowded at all given that it was a Saturday in May. The set-up and decorations for the ceremony were beautiful. The photographer was really nice and attentive. It was a pleasure to work with them and we can't wait to see our pictures and video. I would highly recommend this service to anyone who is considering!!

A Charleston Beach wedding was absolutely wonderful! Kate was absolutely amazing! She answered any questions I had (and I had a lot of questions) and always answered them in a timely manner! I was worried about rain the day of the wedding and she endured all my stressful phone calls and emails and made me feel a ton better! The wedding day was absolutely perfect and everyone from A Charleston Beach wedding made it stress free! We were their last wedding of the day and even though I know they had to be tired Kate and everyone else had a smile on their face and were so friendly! Cori was an awesome photographer and my pictures turned out better than I could ever imagine! She was absolutely wonderful and so friendly! I highly recommended them for a stress free wonderful beach wedding!

We had a great experience with A Charleston Beach Wedding. Since we were travelling from the Midwest and not terribly familiar with the area, the resources that Kate and the team provided were super helpful. Kate was always responsive in all of our communications prior to the big day. And on our wedding day, our wedding coordinator, Molly, was very helpful and kept things running smoothly. Our officiant, Craig, did a wonderful job despite strong winds and impending storms! Our photographer, Cori, was very professional and up-beat and kept things moving along to get in all the pictures we wanted before the rain came through. We cannot wait to see all of the pictures! We were very pleased with all of the services provided.

I have absolutely loved working with A Charleston Beach Wedding. Kate was our wedding planner and did an amazing job with coordinating and setting up for the wedding. She had a backup plan because we were expecting rain the day of the wedding but thankfully did not need it. A couple of our guests got stuck in traffic so they were about 15 minutes late and everyone was very understanding! I would recommend them to anyone that wants to plan a dream beach wedding!!!

My husband and I decided in late spring to renew our vows on Folly Beach during our family vacation. Kate was very accommodating even though we gave her very short notice. The service was beautiful and the photographer, Cory, was very easy to work with. Thank you for such wonderful memories!

It was so stress free, we just had to tell Rachel what we wanted and she made it happen. My June ceremony was literally everything I wanted and even with it being at sunset in the summer we had almost total privacy!

Rachel was a delight to work with. We had a destination wedding in Isles of Palms, south Carolina and with her help and talent we had a lovely, magical and worry free ceremony. Her many ideas and suggestions were very helpful to us. The original location was miles away and logistically would have been a nightmare.Thank you for that one.The bakery was excellent. I hired my own photographer and the two coordinated like they always been friends. Rachel is thoughtful and clever and will make your wedding as special as mine. My wedding ceremony was everything I had hoped that it would be. As fate would have it, we ended up being married at a different location than was originally planned; but it was perfect and made for the most beautiful pictures.
Mary Ann and Tara were absolutely awesome to work with and helped make my day flawless. We did all of our communicating via email which made planning much easier for me.
My dream has always been to be married on Folly Beach, as I have been vacationing there since I was a child each summer. Thank you for helping my dream come true. My husband and I will have very happy memories of our wedding day on Folly Beach.

Our wedding weekend was absolutely wonderful! Thanks so much to A Charleston Beach Wedding! Tara made it very easy for us to plan our beach wedding ceremony location, she gave us great tips on local restaurants, florists, car services, and options for places to stay. I had many questions and she was very responsive and helpful with her answers. She picked a beautiful private spot on the beach for our ceremony and helped me to decide on a time that would work just right with the setting sun. I would highly recommend A Charleston Beach Wedding. They are very diverse for the very simple wedding with only a few guests to large destination weddings with loads of guests. Even though we never met, I feel like we did. That is how personable she was both via email and on the phone. The officiant and photographer were very professional and personable at the same time. I truly felt that they were part of the experience and were as happy for us as our family members were. Everything was stress free and easy, the way it should be! If you are questioning whether they are right for you...don't...they are!

If you are a do-it-yourselfer this service is perfect for you. Tara offers a simple to follow step by step guide for getting married in Charleston. She lines up the photographer, the officiant and the musician and you do the rest. Her guide provides all the websites you need for flowers, cakes, hotels and catering. If you are getting married in Charleston her service is a must.

A Charleston Beach wedding made planning a wedding from a different state very easy! They had a quick response time to our questions and made everything easy. Fantastic experience!

Tara and Mary Ann were extremely helpful and were always available to help us with any questions we had. They went the extra mile and made our daughter's wedding just as perfect as we had hoped it would be!

Photographs and video are great and it's awesome that the photographs are sent on cd which allows us to reproduce them as we please.

Very reasonably priced.

This was such a great experience. Everything you would want and expect at your wedding. I live out of state and they made this such an easy, effortless, and worry free wedding. They thought of everything. Their recommended vendors are of the highest quality. They can organize anything from a large lavish wedding to a small intimate wedding, whatever you prefer. A Charleston Beach Wedding Company gave us the wedding of our dreams. The staff was incredibly prompt and helpful via email responses before we even booked our ceremony. Because of a physical disability, I had some concerns about getting to the beach. Within days those issues were resolved and wedding planning was on its way! By the time our day arrived, we were so well prepared and STRESS-FREE! We would not have changed a single moment of that day, and would recommend A Charleston Beach Wedding Co to anyone who truly loves Folly Beach. For us, we wanted to keep the true meaning of marriage in our wedding. FB represents fun, family, wonderful memories, and quality time. Our wedding was simply amazing. The Charleston Beach Wedding staff had everything done and planned, as far as the ceremony and photography were concerned. Their list of houses and where to stay helped me tremendously while I was planning everything. They also have a list of preferred vendors that are amazing. The Cake Stand in Folly Beach was very reasonably priced and did an amazing job. The minister that performed our service was such a sweet man. And the fact that you get a CD of the photographs from the photographer is a great value - not to mention that the pictures turned out amazing!!!

I am such a control freak so let me tell you I know it was difficult to deal with me-especially being in an entirely different state! I found ACBW online and from day one they were responsive and patient. They're packets of info were invaluable as well as all of their advice. (There was a festival on the main street in Folly on my wedding day and we still pulled it off on time with all guests present!) Melissa was at the Folly beach access when we arrived and was awesome! So sweet! Don't worry about not having a rehearsal because she organized and timed everyone's entrance (I wanted a processional.) So glad they were all there for us on our special day and most definitely would not have been as smooth without them.

We live in the UK and wanted a beach wedding in Charleston. We could not have picked a better organisation than Charleston Beach Wedding. I was a little apprehensive about how we could do all the arrangements by email but we id and it worked wonderfully well. the responsiveness and patience they showed was brilliant. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! My husband and I planned our wedding from Tennessee, and it would have not been as easy as it was without the packet and recommendations from Charleston Beach Wedding. From the location to the photography, we were absolutely ecstatic of how beautiful and perfect our day turned out to be--even with a extra 1,00 plus people on the island for the Sea & Sand Festival plus 80% chance of rain. My husband and I are both Active Duty military and deployed to Afghanistan. We decided to have our ceremony while on our 2-week R&R. We were able to plan the entire event and all the details from overseas thanks to A Charleston Beach Wedding. Recommendations for everything from the flowers to the cake, reception venue, limo service, etc were provided in the "getting started" packet provided by Mary Ann. The packet contained several companies offering each service needed within different price ranges. Everyone was extremely professional and e-mail correspondence was exceptional- fast and accurate. We arrived just days before the ceremony and had no hiccups whatsoever. Mary Ann also ensured that my husband did not get a sneak peek of his bride before the ceremony!! To anyone desiring a beautifully intimate ceremony on the beach I highly recommend A Charleston Beach Wedding.

A Charleston Beach Wedding did my wedding in August in Folly Beach, and I would highly recommend them to future brides! From day one they were extremely helpful. We don't live in South Carolina, and I was trying to plan our wedding from out of state. Their welcome packet was thorough and had information on every detail of planning a beach wedding. When I emailed them with a question about something, they would respond that day with an answer. When it came to our wedding day, Mary Ann was our officiant and she is one of the sweetest people I have ever met! It started to rain a little bit right before our wedding ceremony, so everyone was trying to decide what to do. We still wanted to get married on the beach, and they were accomodating. We had the ceremony on the beach, and fortunately the rain and storms held off until after the wedding was over and the pictures were taken. Our photos on the beach turned out wonderful! Everything on our wedding day was perfect, and I would recommend A Charleston Beach Wedding for anyone who wants a perfect beach wedding!

I highly recommend A Charleston Beach Wedding for anyone wanting to plan a beach wedding. Folly Beach was a lovely place, and A Charleston Beach Wedding made the wedding planning so easy! Mary Ann has a detailed packet of information with everything you could possibly need for the planning process. Her packet plus the helpful and timely responses from her staff via email took the stress out of planning, and let us just enjoy getting married. Also, you can tell Mary Ann enjoys officiating, which added more meaning and value to the ceremony. All around, this is a great company and a great choice!

We would like to thank Mary Ann and her staff at A Charleston Beach Wedding. My daughter, Hannah and her fiancé, Chris wanted a small beach wedding, but still very special. We had the most romantic wedding on the beach at Folly. It was just perfect thanks to A Charleston Beach Wedding. We wanted something simple, but beautiful and that included our dogs, our two labradors. The folks with A Charleston Beach Wedding were so kind and gracious to work with us as our labs where our bridesmaid and bestman. It was a sunrise and the photographer they arranged for us captured the most perfect moments of our life. We even had applause from onlookers at the beach who later came over and asked for the wedding planner's details. Originally we had planned to get married in Greece, but too much paper work and as it turned out our wedding at Folly was so much better. The wedding planner knew where to shop for the best flowers, best photographer and discussed with us exactly what kind of ceremony we wanted religious or spiritual. She even read our favorite poem by Elizabeth Browning. Also no shoes required!!! Barefoot. Just awesome. Can't say enough good things about A Charleston Beach Wedding.

The ladies at A Charleston Beach Wedding could not have been more helpful. The initial information covered everything we needed to know and helped us tremendously! They were very responsive to all of our inquires. And very willing to work with us when we decided to add a photographer a week before the wedding. Our beach wedding turned out wonderful and the planning was exactly what we were looking for - easy and low stress! Tara was a pleasure to work with and answered all of my questions timely. When the wedding day arrived, all of the vendors showed up on time and without any issue. We also had the pleasant surprise of being married by the mayor of Folly Beach - a fun memory for us both! A Charleston Beach Wedding helped from day one of planning. If you are looking for a beach wedding in the Charleston, SC area A Charleston Beach Wedding is the way to go. They do offer videography, musician, travel information, catering information, and event rentals however, we had the simple package a ceremony by the sea. Our package included photography, officiate, and a place to have the wedding on the beach. A Charleston Beach Wedding made our day simple but magical.

Mary Ann and her staff were wonderful throughout the process!! They were professional, efficient, and timely in our communication. All details and information are compiled in nice and neat packages, including contact information and recommendations for vendors in South Caroina. I planned the wedding from Pennsylvania and it was very simple and Mary Ann was extremely accomodating for our special circumstance. Our photos turned out amazing and I am very happy with them and the flexibility of reproducing the photos at our own leisure because the CD was sent to us. Overall, I was extremely pleased and would highly recommend A Charleston Beach Wedding to other couples.

They truly help make our dream wedding come true! The day could not have been any better! They got up early so we could have a sunrise wedding.
They were flexible with wedding date which we had to move back almost two months from the original date. They were also very flexible and understanding when we changed our wedding package. We could not have asked to work with nicer people. Our day was perfect!

I received an abundance of information from ACBW that was helpful in narrowing down vendors, beach house rentals, etc. As someone from out of state, this made my job so much easier. Mary Ann was very professional and was a wonderful officiant. She event stepped up to coordinate the procession of our bridal party since we did not have a wedding planner.
