Exquisite and best time ever.

Wow.. this cake was so exquisite and everything that I asked for and more. The shop out did them selves. The flavors where to die for. I would have them do our cakes for every occasions from here out. The best part was the yeast testing the flavors. We so enjoyed.

We had a wonderful experience with A Cake Occasion! They were super easy to work with and the cake is super moist and delicious! We had cupcakes and a small cutting cake made for our wedding. They were very flexible with us when we called to adjust numbers after we had all our RSVP’s. They were also the most reasonably priced out of everyone I looked at! I love supporting a small local company! Highly recommend!

A Cake Occasion is my favorite bakery in the area, so it was a "no brainer" when it came time to selecting a bakery for our wedding cake. We decided on a smaller, budget wedding and did not want to purchase a formal wedding cake. The bakery worked with our ideas and made us a large sheet cake with matching cupcakes. It was beautiful and tasted amazing (as always).

They did and AMAZING job on our cake. We told them what flavors we wanted and a picture of what we wanted and it was better than we envisioned.

I got soooooo many compliments on our wedding cake! It was so delicious, we have made it our go to bakery for cakes. It was so easy to place the order, and not one single issue on the day of the wedding, even though I called them to change the delivery time. They are the best! They are also busy, so listen to them when they tell you the best time to come in, they only want to make sure that they can give you the attention that you deserve! Everything was easy and fantastic, and all for a price that fit our budget! Thank you!

The Cake Occassion did a great job accomdating my needs in a cake providor. Their prices were very good in comparison to their competitors and the delivery fee vadious was very fair. Further, my wedding was last minute and they let me do a last minute tasting without any cost! The staff was also very friendly and proffessional.

We asked for a unique cake table based on a photo and they delivered! The decorations were beautiful and elegant and the cake was delicious!

We had a grooms cake done for the rehearsal and it was so well designed and so good. A golf theme with white cake with lemon frosting. The wedding cake was beautiful. Exactly what we wanted and they were so willing to work with us. We did a champagne cake with strawberry filling and chocolate cake with raspberry filling. Excellent!

This place is a gem! A local family owned bakery in Denver. The owners were so easy to work with and the cake was actually great! We had tons of compliments on the taste! The price was exceptionally reasonable compared to other cake bakeries and the cake turned out absolutely beautiful! They will send the top tier for your 1st anniversary so you don't have to freeze it. Yum! I would definitely recommend this place for a great tasting and beautiful cake!

I love this place they did my wedding cake, my parents 25th anniversary cake, and so much more memorable events for my family... They deliver excellent service, help, and advice for a low cost plus the cake is delicious.

I had requested a cake shaped like a castle and it was great. They did a great job, and the cake was very yummy.

My wedding cake was absoutely amazingly beautiful!!! I would highly recommend this barkery for your wedding cake. They do a free cake tasting on Saturday mornings. I had gotten a couple of cakes from this bakery before my wedding and had been very pleased with them in the past, so when it was time to start looking for my wedding cake, this is the first place that we went and after doing the tasting and looking at their cakes, I didn't need to look elsewhere! When my wedding cake was delivered (on time,) I was beyond pleased with the result! If I could pick my favorite thing about my wedding, it would have been my cake!!!

Great place to work with, the cake looked and tasted great. They are a family run company which makes them more casual/less professional than average-though they delivered great.

The cake was beautifull. Just how i had pictured it. Some guests told me it was a little dry, but we had a the whole bottom tear leftover that we brought home, and we thaught it was great. It was delivered without any worries. Overall I would recomend them! p.s. They offered us a fresh cake for our 1 year anniversory.

They did an excellent job on our wedding cake. I wanted butterflies all over and in the colors of my wedding party, watermelon and honey dew and they matched the colors perfectly. The cake was delicious and moist even a few days later. The price was great for what we got.

I would definitely recommend A Cake Occassion for a beautiful and delicious wedding cake! Just be aware that they are extremely busy and seem a little understaffed. When we went in for our consultations/cake tastings they were always so busy that they had to keep getting interupted to help others. But I guess that just goes to show how yummy and trusted they are! Our cake turned out beautifully and we had tons of compliments on the taste -- wish I would have gotten more of it though.. :) We saved our top tier for our first anniversary, can't wait to break it out again!

They did an amazing job on my cake. It was beautiful and exactly what I had envisioned. The taste was good especially by wedding cake standards but I was more impressed with the look. The only bad thing is that they were over an hour late with my cake and the lady that did my flowers had to wait. I would recommend them though.

Our cake was exactly what I drew up for them, the colors were perfect and the taste was fabulous. We just had our 1 year anniversary and defrosted our top tier, the taste a year later was just like the wedding day, fantastic. I also got a cake here for my baby shower and it was georgous!

What can I say... the wedding cake was simply delightful!! After a lot of hunting, we arrived at A Cake Occasion, by all standards a small little, inconspicuous place that we had heard about through word of mouth. The warm family feel of the ladies running the place really helped; they were very attentive and the result was almost an entirely custom-made cake made from scratch from our collective ideas! All the guests loved it!

Our cake didn't really look like what we ordered. They substituted some of the rentals we had requested for products that did not achieve the look we wanted. We also gave them color swatches to match for our gum paste flowers, but they came out a murky red instead of a bright pinky/orange. The good news was that it tasted good.

They recently did my wedding cake and it was okay. It wasn't bad. It wasn't great. It was just cake. However the design was off. I had taken in a picture, offered to send them a copy via email so that they would have more than just their hand written notes, but they said no that they didnt need. My cake turned out looking vaguely like the picture that I had brought in. The flowers were all wrong and the ribbon color was not right. They're quite affordable compared to the downtown denver bakeries, but you do get what you pay for.

I really just wasn't pleased my cake looked ok i mean it wasn't ugly hated the taste of it. It was really dry. Really overall just wouldn't recommened. and pretty pricy also.
