Best DJ Ever

Robby was such a phenomenal DJ for our wedding day. From planning to the final song, he was kind, knowledgeable, and just an all around wonderful guy. He was easy to work with, friendly, engaging, and continued to check in with us to see if all was going well with the music on our wedding day. He understood our vision and random taste in music, and even played some of our favorite songs that we didn’t mention- he just had such an understanding of what we liked and wanted for our big day. We’ve had many of our wedding guests tell us how much they enjoyed dancing the night away with DJ Robby at the helm. We couldn’t be happier with any other DJ and I highly recommend A Bride’s DJ if you want a personalized experience and genuine hype DJ for your wedding or any other event! It was spectacular!

Hire DJ Tony!

How do I begin to explain how great DJ Tony was, and how easy it was to work with A Bride’s DJ?! I’ve been to a ton of weddings, and many of our guests are in the industry. Across the board people agreed that this was one of, if not the best, DJ experiences people have had. He expertly read the room and had the most fun transitions. The dance floor was full all night as we sang, danced, sweated like crazy and had the best time.

So much fun

Robby killed it!! Working with Robby and Diana was effortless from the jump. They brought so much fun energy and made planning so simple. Robby totally captured the energy and vibe we wanted and our guests were dancing all night long. We had so much fun and couldn’t be happier!

I'm a Believer

When I met Robby, I told him right away that I was against having a DJ at my wedding. Though my partner and our planner were telling me it would be helpful for the flow and energy, I wanted a personal, intimate vibe and didn't like the idea of a random guy squawking at my guests all night. I came in very skeptical.

HOWEVER! A Bride's DJ turned me into a believer. In total, my partner and I spent ~4 hours on planning music and emcee wedding things. That's it! Including a really fun date night where my partner and I got to go through Robby's fancy app and pick all of our favorite songs to play throughout the day. And our meeting with A Bride's DJ a week before our wedding was so fun - Robby is quick to laugh and also quickly picked up our vibe, making us feel so comfortable throughout the process. I can't imagine our wedding night without him.

Take it from a skeptic: DIYing your event's sound equipment, playlists, and emceeing sounds simple, but having a professional is absolutely worth the cost. Especially when you get an all-around guy like Robby as your DJ! Book him!

DJ Tony - Homewood Wedding

Tony & the entire A Bride's DJ crew were incredible! They enthusiastically helped create a custom father daughter dance song prior to the wedding to help my family practice. DJ Tony was possibly the best DJ I've heard at a wedding. His transitions were great and he was able to read the crowd. I had so many people tell me they've never seen a wedding dance floor so crowded all night. I really didn't want the night to end. He responded well to our requests to songs and politely declined when people requested songs on our do not play list. I would emphatically recommend DJ Tony and A Bride's DJ to anyone. We still talk about how great he was.

An unforgettable wedding experience

Tony is easily the best wedding DJ we’ve ever seen. He was thoughtful, detail-oriented and intuitively understood what we wanted. He adapted on the fly to what our guests liked, which kept them out on the floor dancing from the first song to the very end. Guests couldn’t stop raving about how much they loved the song choices and clean transitions. We also did a first song instead of a first dance, and Tony was super easy to work with as we figured out what we needed.

Everyone from A Bride’s DJ was super easy to work with during the planning phase. They understood exactly what kind of vibes we wanted, and did a great job of accounting for all the details we would have missed. Tony and A Bride’s DJ were a huge part of why our wedding was a huge success!

truly… an above & beyond experience

Just hire them, you won't regret it!

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at The Hideaway in May 2024 with A Bride’s DJ as our DJ and master of ceremony, and they were phenomenal.

The entire process was seamless. They are such a well-oiled machine that we truly felt zero stress because we knew we were in good hands. We’ve been to a lot of weddings, and even though we may be a little biased, A Bride’s DJ was by far the best.

Diana was professional, responsive, and easy to work with for pricing and scheduling. Robby was our DJ and master of ceremony. Music is important to us, and Robby listened to our likes/dislikes, and was able to balance a pretty extensive list of songs we liked with his own choices, making for an awesome night. During the ceremony, all of the songs were spot on, exactly as we requested, and volume was perfect for the venue. There were no awkward silences and every transition was seamless. As we moved to the reception, he kept the dance floor full and smiles on everyone’s faces and was excellent at reading the room. As the bride, I only left the dance floor once all night! Robby checked in on us multiple times throughout the night, asking if we were OK or needed drinks, which was so kind and unexpected.

There isn’t one single thing we would change from our experience and would highly recommend them for anyone looking for these services!

Amazing Service!

I was very intimidated at the thought of figuring out all of the wedding music, but Diana and Robby made it easy! Their planning website has a ton of helpful information for selecting music and organizing your reception. I am not a huge dancer, so they also provided suggestions for things that we could do besides dancing. We ended up doing bride/groom trivia and it was a huge hit!

Our DJ, Matt, did a wonderful job for both the ceremony and reception music. I wouldn’t change anything about our day!

We also opted to use one of their photo booths and I’m so glad we did. Ours was a smaller wedding (~40 people), but the photo booth was busy all night and the photos are great keepsakes for us and our guests.

If you want a fun wedding you need A Brides DJ

A Bride's DJ is exactly what you need to have a fun wedding. From our first interets call to our wedding day, Diana and Robby were responsive, playful, and dedicated to making our vision come to life. The DJ services were truly catered to our event and it matched our vision perfectly. Robby was able to mix and cute songs so that transitions were flawless. He even took the time to check in with me during the reception to ensure that everything was to my liking and asked if he needed to change anything. He kept all of our guests on the dance floor for over 3 hours. All of our guests were raving about Robby and his music selection. If you want a fun wedding run, don't walk to book a Bride's DJ.

Great experience and service!!

Lev from A Bride’s DJ was such a pleasure to work with!! The moment we had our planning call with him, my fiance and I were put at ease. He is so competent and relaxed we knew we’d be in good hands! A Bride’s DJ provides an extensive planning document that Lev uses on the day. Lev played all the songs we wanted, none of the songs we didn’t want, and was so skilled at reading the crowd that he threw in a few songs that our guests still talk about dancing to! I lost my voice the day before the wedding and requested a lower volume so I’d still be able to talk with friends and family. Not only did Lev execute the perfect volume, but he also came up to me during the reception to check if it was at an okay level! Our guests still rave about how nice it was to be able to dance and talk with everyone the whole night! Lev even came up to both me and the groom to ask if there were any songs he hadn’t played yet that we’d like to hear. Lev also helped us set up a livestream so that our relatives and friends who couldn’t attend the ceremony were still able to watch, which was above and beyond of him! Overall, Lev was a wonderful DJ and put us at ease, I would definitely recommend hiring him for your wedding day!!

This bride's dj

10/5 here. My wedding was even more awesome than I imagined because of Robby. He certainly was THIS bride's DJ.

ABDJ did the music for both the ceremony and reception, and Robby helped me plan out all of it. Music is a passion of mine, and it was so much fun planning with him! He embraced and encouraged our quirkiness (we literally had a dinosaur themed wedding) and found ways to make my ideas come to life. (Transitioning from "Kiss the Girl" into "Married Life" from the movie "Up!") The ceremony was flawless. For the reception, I didn't think many of my guests would dance, so I brought a bunch of games: card, board, etc. At the very least, we were NOT going to have people sit around and look at each other awkwardly or get wasted.

Not a single game was played.

Between the music, the fun wedding games (the shoe game), and the photobooth that ABDJ offered, everyone had SO much fun! At one point, there had been a miscommunication and I ended up throwing a curveball to him. No problem. He handled it on the fly like the pro he is and no one knew the wiser.

The best part of the whole event and what would make me pick Robby all over again: At the end of the night, he played our last dance song. I thought it was a regular last dance, but Robby politely kicked everyone out of the reception hall-- including himself-- closed the curtain, and turned down the lights so that my brand new husband and I could have the time to ourselves as we danced to "Tangled Up In You" by Staind. I'm crying all over again just thinking about it. It was the MOST special moment of our lives (thus far.)

BOOK THEM NOW! We had the best experience with a brides dj! Music was so important to me and they were with me every step of the way. They were so knowledgeable in answering all of our questions and setting us up for the best party ever. We had Chris as our DJ, and we seriously couldn’t have asked for a better DJ! Confident, flexible, trustworthy & talented DJ!

Tony was the DJ for our wedding and he did such a great job! We also really appreciated his openness and flexibility to working with our Macedonian band-- the entire night went so smoothly alternating between the two. We were a little nervous about the music when planning our wedding because we wanted to stay away from the cheesy wedding songs and Tony knew just how to avoid those songs without taking away any fun from the party! Accommodating and Fun!

A Brides DJ was truly great to work with during our planning process and on our wedding day. Robby is fun, knowledgeable and genuinely cares about what he does. I loved working with A Bride's DJ!

I got married in August 2023, and I was hesitant to hire a DJ because my fiancé and I had such specific music requests. Basically, we knew the exact songs we wanted played at our wedding, but we really wanted someone to help mix the songs, help MC the night, and just generally keep the vibe going all night. And wow was A Bride’s DJ absolutely perfect! I first spoke to Diana, and she was incredibly helpful, responsive, and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. She made us feel so comfortable and easily answered all of our questions. And Robby was absolutely fantastic too! He never made us feel like our niche request was a bad idea. In fact, he made us feel like we were in perfectly capable hands, and he was right! Robby mixed our music perfectly and did such a wonderful job keeping the energy high during our whole wedding. He even came up to me at the end of the night and asked if there were any other songs I wanted played, which was such a thoughtful gesture and goes to show how great A Bride’s DJ is to work with. If you are looking for a top-notch DJ in the Asheville, NC area, I truly can’t recommend Diana, Robby, and A Bride’s DJ enough!

The most attentive DJ!

DJ Chris and the whole team were a huge part of what made our wedding day so special. They will play exactly what you request, but are also very attentive to the vibe of the crowd and adjust accordingly—we had a full dance floor of all ages until the very last minute of our reception! Could not have asked for a better DJ experience from the seamlessness of the ceremony amplification to the gorgeously placed uplighting, to the dance floor party lights and of course the amazing music selection and mixing skills of DJ Chris!

From the initial phone call with Diana to discuss our wedding, I knew I was speaking with the best. A Bride's DJ is simply unbeatable. I can’t say enough good things about A Brides DJ! Diana was communicative and friendly from the very beginning. She answered all of my questions and helped me form ideas! Best music - highly recommend

We had DJ James Fruit. He was EXCEPTIONAL! We danced the entire time and he made the reception incredible. Everyone has complimented me on the music and process of our wedding. We asked him to focus on Latin/Pop music and he did just that. Every song request was incorporated and the mixes of songs were fantastic. I highly highly recommend using a Bride's DJ. From our initial phone call I was skeptical about hiring a DJ and even stated I was more interested in a band. They completely changed my mind and were even conscious of me working in health care. James with A Bride's DJ is the best!!!

My husband and I absolutely loved our experience working with A Bride's DJ for our wedding DJ service! Diana (the coordinator) was very accessible, prompt with answering emails, and super friendly and creative with helping us book them. She listened and gave ideas to help us plan exactly what we wanted out of our wedding. Our actual DJ was James Fruits and let me tell you he was absolutely incredible! WE LOVE JAMES!! If you are looking for a DJ, this is your guy. James was so experienced, friendly, creative, accessible, and flexible! My husband and I are very particular when it comes to music and James was so helpful in helping us put everything together and have it be exactly as we wanted. He is also a jack of all trades because he can sing and play guitar/ukulele which he did for our wedding! He sang live and played during dinner and also sang live and played for my husband and I's first dance song - it was such a huge hit and all our guests loved it! We got so many compliments that our DJ was amazing and he truly was. You truly cannot go wrong booking with A Bride's DJ and James - thank you all for everything!!!

Amazing! The best DJ!!

Amazing service and music. Robbie made everything easy and simple to pick the music. We gave a list of a few specific songs but he also made sure to throw in extra songs that went well with the songs we requested. I would not hesitate to higher him again for any occasion, not just a wedding.

The Absolute Best DJ - 100% Dedicated to the bride & groom!

We were truly blown away by Robby & A Bride's DJ. He was the first vendor we booked over 18 months before our wedding and he never failed to check in with us every step of the way. He made sure every last song we wanted was played, and kept everyone dancing on the dance floor the entire night.

He constantly made it known that he was there for us - checking in with the bride and the groom throughout the evening, helping small moments become some of our most memorable moments, and truly just being a friend throughout the entire experience. We would recommend Robby to our closest friends and family.

3 weeks later, our guests are STILL talking about how absolutely incredible Robby was. He is the absolute best. We always say our wedding day was the best day & dance party ever, and we really do have him to thank for it! We are the luckiest!

DJ James Fruits - Simply the Best

We hired A Bride’s DJ for our wedding at The Lodge at Geneva-on-the-Lake on 08/07/2021. From the outset, this company was amazing. Robby and Diana reply to emails super fast and send helpful reminder emails to include when a payment is upcoming, to do your DJ reception planning sheet, etc. They are very professional and accommodating. No issues whatsoever.

As far as the DJ - we had James Fruits. The guy is incredible. He spent about an hour and a half on the phone with us a week prior to our wedding and went through our wedding day in meticulous detail with us. He was very patient and happy to answer any and all questions/concerns we had. I felt 0 stress after our call with him in regards to the DJ service we would be provided.

On the wedding day, James delivered as expected. He was on time, played all the music we requested. He offered multiple times to get a drink for me and my husband at the bar so we wouldn’t have to worry about it. He responded so well to the crowd and knew what music to play to keep people dancing and entertained.

Our wedding party and crowd was full of several law enforcement and military, and James included a “thanks” to all prior/current LE and military, without us even asking. He just knew. It’s SO NICE to know our vendor appreciates the work LE and military do, especially given the current environment we live in.

I got so many compliments from guests and the wedding party about how great the DJ was, the music, the entertainment he provided, and how he did at the ceremony.

I’d recommend A Bride’s DJ to anybody, anytime. You will not be disappointed so please don’t hesitate in hiring them.

Also, price was very reasonable. No higher than most DJ services.

Marcus was amazing!

We loved working with A Bride's DJ. Our DJ, Marcus, was a ton of fun. He read the crowd perfectly and kept people on the dance floor all night. I loved the turn tables and Marcus's ability to help run the events of the wedding. If you book with A Bride's DJ (which you should!) -- request Marcus!

Top Notch DJ!

Phenomenal DJ service! We had to reschedule our wedding from April 2020 to April 2021 (thanks COVID), and A Bride’s DJ was super understanding and flexible with us — they didn’t even require a second deposit, just moved our dates without a second thought. Diana was wonderful to work with on the scheduling end. And our DJ, James Fruits, was ah-maz-ing! He ran all of the sound for our ceremony, sang and played guitar during dinner, AND killed it with his song selections and reading the room throughout the night. He was so easy to work with, receptive to what our goals and ideas for the evening were, and kept the night running so smoothly. One thing that really impressed me was that he posts a QR code/number to text for requests so people didn’t have to shout over the music or get super close to talk to him — especially great in the COVID environment. I even had some friends who are looking to get married in the not-too-distant future asking for his information because he was THAT good. Thanks James and A Bride’s DJ!

Fun fun fun!

Robby was SO much fun to work with!!! He really listened to everything we had to say and the music selection was absolutely ON POINT! The music selection was very personalized to our likes and dislikes. There was not a single minute that myself and my husband were not dancing, we loved every minute!!! The absolute best in the business!

Robby and his wife were amazing to work with and we'd highly recommend them for wedding DJ services. They made our wedding so much fun and were such a joy to collaborate with. Both had perfect ideas and really led the way in making our day absolutely wonderful and also following COVID safety.

A must have for your wedding

Highly recommended! Robby, Diana, and Eddie were so great to work with. The company is great. We planned through covid and they were so understanding and professional. Everyone was great with sanitizing and reviewing covid precautions.

Our DJ, Eddie, did a wonderful job. Guests complimented us on the music all night! He communicated with us well on the big day and made sure our day was special. We had a decent bit of other things go wrong on our day, so being able to rely on Eddie and knowing he’d take care of any problem gave me peace of mind.

They also provided planning sheets and have a whole website with recommendations, tips, and explanations to aid in the planning process. The Spotify playlists for each event (processional, recessional, cake cut, first dance) that made picking the music so fun. I planned and had the wedding during the covid pandemic, and had a double-postponed bar exam 4 weeks before the wedding, and without vendors like A Bride’s DJ, the big day wouldn’t have happened. It was worth every penny—who knows what they saved me in stress and anxiety.

James Fruits, A Great DJ!

James Fruits was our DJ for our August 2020 wedding and he was so easy to work with. He is professional and has a great personality for a DJ. He played some great music and our guests were on the dance floor all night long! He was so helpful even going as far as getting us drink refills! Diane with A Bride's DJ is timely with responses and is also flexible and easy to work with! I highly recommend James Fruits with A Bride's DJ for your wedding day!

Dj tim lewis is magic.

I am still in a bit of shock and awe of how absolutely stupendous DJ Tim Lewis was at our October 2020 wedding at Hillcrest Orchards. DJ Tim exceeded all of our expectations, and then some. We gave him a list of requested songs, and he ACTUALLY DJ’d. Like, not your basic MC for the night with a list of requests. He mixed, mashed, transitioned songs seamlessly - It was art. The dance floor was filled the entire night. I don’t know if a single song was requested, THAT’S how good he and his work were. Tim was professional, kind, personable, frequently asked if my husband and I needed anything. AND, to our surprise, the morning after our wedding reception, he sent us a full-blown, edited recording that he had taken of our first dance, cake cutting, and speeches. I recommend HIM, very specifically, for ANY event you may be hosting.

DJ Brennan

Our DJ was perfect! He was exactly what we wanted for our wedding. My wife and I don’t like a lot of attention, so we wanted a DJ that kept the event moving smoothly and someone to play some great music. We were pretty simple. DJ Brennan did everything we asked for and kept the party going all night. He was a pleasure to work with and we highly recommend using A Bride’s DJ. Diana was super helpful and paired us with a DJ that fit our needs and budget.

I am happy to report the wedding was a success and I am even happier to tell you DJ James was amazing! He FAR exceeded any expectations I could have imagined. It was the craziest day of my life and he made it all come together and kept it rolling. Not only his music was great but the way he kept me on track and instantly adapted to last minute changes...seriously he was one of the most key people in making our wedding fantastic. And the custom photo booth album with our wedding logo was so great! I seriously cannot recommend him enough!

Packed dance floor!

This company was so great to work with. We planned our wedding from afar, and got this DJ company recommended to us. I'm so happy we went with them. We had Chris as our DJ and he was just fantastic. He was easy to work with and when we let him just roll with what he wanted to play for the reception, he did not disappoint. Our dance floor was packed until the very end, and he even stayed with us an extra 30 minutes when I asked to extend. (It didn't seem like the party was over just yet!). Chris absolutely was part of what made our wedding perfect and memorable. I 100% recommend this company and especially Chris.

kept the dance floor full!

We hired Robby as our wedding DJ and he did a GREAT job. A week before the wedding we went through a detailed timeline and all of our requests were easily accommodated. Robby has also set up a website that includes ideas for first dance songs, cake cutting songs, etc. It was very helpful. We gave Robby a list of music that we liked. He did a great job of mixing our requested music with songs that got our parents and grandparents out on the dance floor as well. Robby never played any cheesy games or line dances, as we had requested, and everyone had a blast!

Can’t Go Wrong :)

After experiencing the dance party at our cousin’s wedding we knew A Bride’s DJ would one day do our wedding too!

James Fruit is absolutely fantastic! He’s personable, fun, and really takes the time to learn what your style is and how he can make it the best day/ night ever for you. He was more than accommodating helping us find different options and was very patient as we were making final decisions. During the reception he went above and beyond to make sure we had anything we needed/ wanted and that things were going as planned. The way he reads the crowd and keeps people on the dance floor is amazing- there wasn’t a dull moment all night!!

We cannot recommend them enough!!

Best DJ Service Around! Highly Recommend Matt I!

My husband and I were very impressed with a Bride's DJ service from start to finish. They provide you with a DJ planning packet laying out the entire ceremony (if needed) and reception from the introductions, to first dance songs, must plays, and do not plays. Matt Ignasiak was our DJ for the wedding and he was fantastic!!! He called us the Monday before to run through every detail of the wedding reception. Anything we were unsure of, he guided us and gave us great input from his past weddings. When it came to the reception he was a wonderful MC. He was smooth with transitions and kept the night flowing. The dance floor was packed all night! Thank you so much to A Bride's DJ and Matt for making our wedding night unforgettable!

The perfect DJ!

Robby from A Bride’s DJ was amazing!! He was great with communication and was happy to do anything we wanted! In fact, my husband and I are HUGE fans of “The Office.” For those of you who know the show, there is an episode where Michael Scott shows the office staff his movie where he plays a character named Michael Scarn. In this episode, he does a dance called “The Scarn.” Robby was nice enough to take this clip and mix it into “The Wobble.” So if you think you have an odd request with music, Robby is definitely the one to work with because he will do whatever he can to make that request happen! Beyond doing a great job with music, one thing that stood out most to me about him on my wedding day was how genuinely kind he was...My husband and I had only spoken with Robby via email and phone so my first actual time meeting him face to face was the wedding day. Following the ceremony when my husband and I got pulled away to take photos with our families and wedding party, Robby walked over with two iced waters in his hand, one for me and one for my husband. He introduced himself, said congratulations, and then handed me the waters. He knew my husband and I needed to stay hydrated and hadn’t had a chance to grab a water before being pulled into taking photos. It was a small gesture but greatly appreciated! Overall, we are very pleased that we choose A Bride’s DJ for our wedding! I would recommend this company and Robby to any brides in search of a good DJ!

Fantastic DJ - kept everyone dancing!

Robby and Diana were wonderful to work with for our wedding DJ services. Diana helped keep us very organized in planning the music for our day and they provide wonderful online planning services. Robby was an outstanding DJ and really "read the room" to keep a group of non-dancers on the dance floor all night! He truly listened to our goals for the evening (including keeping the music not too loud so that folks could talk in the background) and was truly interested in making this experience perfect for us. Just what we needed!

Working with a Bride's DJ was great. Diana and Robbie were always fast to respond and answered all the many questions we had regarding the DJ for our wedding. Eddie would be available for our wedding and we were then given his contact information. After we talked with Eddie we went ahead and booked. Even though we never met before the wedding (just a phone call) things went so well!! Everything went smoothly and Eddie made sure to check in with us throughout the night and talk about when we wanted to do things, did we want to bump this or that up or wait a bit longer. He was also just the right amount of interactive with us, teaching a line dance and getting everyone on the floor. He was even flexible and patient with us as we decided on whether or not we moved our entire reception back outside! We had a great experience and would recommend working with them!

Highly Recommend - Amazing DJ!!

A Brides DJ did a great job at our wedding! After selecting them, they immediately sent us communications on the overall process, key dates, and information to fill out.

A week before the wedding, we had a call with our DJ, Marcus, who did an amazing job. He was very detail oriented and had many helpful suggestions based on our timeline and his previous experiences. We submitted a list of must-plays and suggested songs to give an idea of the kind of music we enjoyed. Marcus did an amazing job playing those songs, matching to our tastes, and getting everyone (both young and old) on the dance floor. The dance floor was packed all night! Multiple people have come up to us and said they loved the music and had a great time.

Marcus was extremely professional, kind, and gave us a lot of confidence. Throughout the night, he kept us on track, gave us friendly reminders and cues for our planned schedule, and checked to make sure we were ready for the next activity. We would highly recommend him for anyone looking for a fantastic DJ!

James Fruits was wonderful!!

We had the pleasure of working with James Fruits from A Bride's DJ for our wedding day on 7/20/19. First off, the owners of this company are wonderful. I spoke with Diana on the phone initially, and she was very enthusiastic and excited to help make our DJ experience exactly what we wanted. We chose James Fruits, who was recommended to us by another bride. Where to even begin! James was incredible. From the first consultation to our wedding day, he really made us feel special, and made us feel that our wedding was special to him. He was so attentive and very approachable throughout the entire process. He ensures he has every detail down to a tee so that the wedding day runs smoothly. It was extremely hot on our wedding day, and he was so flexible as to the location of the ceremony, along with other details that were adjusted throughout the day. He was so energetic at the reception, and interacted so well with the crowd. During dinner he sang live music, and played the piano and guitar which the guests loved! He is talented in so many ways! We loved working with him and would highly recommend for any wedding or large event!

This is the DJ you WANT for your wedding!!!

If there was one thing that was on the top of our priority list for our wedding, it was having an excellent DJ who knew how to read a room and get people movin' without turning the event into their own private concert. Robby and Diana DELIVERED the BEST experience we ever could have asked for. From the first phone call I had with Diana, the high level of professionalism, organization, and attentiveness was evident. Their planning website was a HUGE bonus to make sure our guests (and my husband and I!) had the best time ever. Great experience!

A Bride's DJ was amazing! We had Matt as our dj and he did a phenomenal job! We did some last minute changes (even some five minutes before hand) and Matt was nothing but calm and willing to accomondate. My wife and I were VERY lucky to have James Fruits at 'A Bride's DJ' perform at our wedding. He was a 'jack of all trades' - officiated, played live music (excellent singer), DJ'd / managed our timeline. James put us at ease every time we touched base leading up to our wedding. Professional team listens to your needs

A Bride's DJ were supportive from the beginning of the relaxed & low key style reception we wanted, provided detailed planning tips and music suggestions as a part of their planning website, and matched us with an experienced DJ, Evan. Evan did a fantastic job helping us keep the reception moving nicely, and still managed to get the dance floor packed without playing any of the dreaded line dances we wanted to avoid. We danced the night away!

Hire Robby! We were so nervous hiring a DJ that we had never heard in real life but Robby was everything we wanted and more! Robby took the time to have a 2 hour phone call with me on the week of our wedding to make sure he got every detail right. He even listened to songs with me to help figure out intros and transitions. On the day of our wedding he showed up early and never missed a cue! He kept our guests (a variety of ages) dancing all night long and even had a few surprises up his sleeve that made the night so much fun (I forgot conga lines existed). Their Spotify playlists were awesome and so helpful for wedding planning and their website contained a ton of great information and helpful hints. Can't recommend A Brides DJ enough!

James Fruits Made Our Day!!!

I’m very tardy in writing this well overdue review – My husband and I were married in September 2017, but it still feels like yesterday thanks to James! We could not have worked with a nicer man then James Fruits! He is a vibrant host, positive person, and such a pleasure to correspond with. He was so patient with all of our requests and met with us multiple times before our wedding to really get to know us. He sincerely knows how to read a room and gauge how a crowd is reacting – I spoke with other DJ companies before contacting A Bride’s DJ and their main goal was to “get the crowd hyped” and “pack our dance floor” no matter what. We had an invite list that we did not know would be such a dancing crowd, and James was very sensitive to our concerns. He was willing to customize the evening and pay attention, rather than bumping cheesy music all night. My husband and I are musicians and James was very attentive to how important music is to us, respecting our “play and do not play” lists and consistently sticking with the feeling we were hoping for throughout cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. He kept the evening moving very well, coordinated seamlessly with our caterer and other vendors, and maintained a well-mixed sound throughout the evening. Additionally, James went SO far above and beyond for us planning some special surprises! My cousin and Matron of Honor contacted him and he planned with her for a flash mob to occur during our reception! He hired vocalists and musicians (including a horn section) to start the song “All You Need Is Love” right after the speeches (yes, just like in the movie Love Actually) and my husband and I could not have been more surprised! James himself is an excellent musician and led the song, even integrating people from our wedding party with musical talent! I still am not sure how he coordinated all of this without us knowing, but it was incredible! James also brought extra equipment, had a separate setup, and coordinated a day-before sound check with me and one of our groomsmen to give my husband a surprise of his very own. My Mom sang to my Dad at their wedding, and I’ve always wanted to do the same. I sang and our guitarist groomsman played “Marry Me” by Train (a very special song to us) from a balcony to my husband at the end of our cocktail hour. It made for such a dramatic and sweet moment and it was all because of James’ willingness to keep a secret and put in some extra hard work! He truly made the day more personal than we could have ever expected and we are SO grateful! We got matched up with him after calling A Bride’s DJ and telling them lots about us and our wedding plans. The company then matched us with a couple specific DJ’s they thought could fit our needs and let us view their online profiles. Then, we got to choose who we wanted to work with – And we’re so glad we met James! We’d highly recommend A Bride’s DJ’s process and James specifically without any hesitation!

Detailed and Outstanding

DJ James Fruits made our wedding rock!

DJ James Fruits is the BEST DJ! He was very professional and attentive from the very beginning. He kept our dance floor packed all night and made sure the entire event was fun. He spent more than an hour on the phone with us going over all the details a few weeks before the event. He took the time to understand our audience and the vibe we wanted so he could fit the music to our event. We gave him an extensive list of songs, mostly as suggestions to give him a sense of our taste in music. He went above and beyond and not only played our must plays but fit in most of our suggested songs/artists! We had personalized requests for our special dances and he edited songs together to make it fit our dance routine. His attention to detail and desire to fit the music to our guests' preferences made the wedding a huge party. James was also very courteous during the event and tripled checked to make sure everyone's names were said correctly. He was great at balancing the DJ and emcee duties, it never felt like he took over the event but he totally kept the energy up. The setup was great and all sounded perfect. Our wedding ceremony and reception was spot on, largely due to the great music, personal care, and attention to detail, and quality audio setup. We highly recommend A Bride's DJ especially DJ James Fruits!

James Fruits = Awesome

We had James Fruits as our DJ and he was absolutely awesome! He went above and beyond for us to make the day stress free and an absolute blast. He allowed us to have a hand in customizing our night and provided great suggestions in the detailed meetings up to the day. He was flexible on our wedding day and did a great job running the show. We gave him 40+ songs and he made the dance floor a party all night! He's outgoing, kind, and a great singer/guitarist. On top of all of that he did everything for us while his wife was starting chemo treatments. He reassured us by having a thorough backup plan if he couldn't make it work, and were able to meet and talk with Tim (the backup DJ) who was also present at the wedding. We couldn't recommend him enough for any DJ needs!

I would reccomend this company 100 times over to anyone! We used DJ James for our February wedding and people are still talking to us about how fantastic the music was all night. James worked with us to play what we wanted to hear, and also songs we forgot we loved. Our entire dance floor was packed to the brim all evening. I was told by so many that the music selection was impressive!

A Bride's DJ did an amazing job narrating our evening with both music and commentary. We are so pleased with the experience that we had on our wedding day. Music mans to much to us and several people also made comments on the selection and picks that the DJ (Jeff) selected.
Communication and expectations were clear from the beginning and we didn't look back. If you want a reasonably priced DJ and great music- go A Bride's DJ in the Asheville area.

Air guitaring all night

Robby was so much fun to have as our DJ. He always made sure we had everything we needed, came up with suggestions, and always asked if we had any requests. Prior to the wedding he or his wife were quick to respond to email and send reminders for calls or necessary information. They made it all flawless. I rocked out all night and there definitely was a lot of air guitar.

I couldn’t be more thrilled with A Bride’s DJ! Robby absolutely made our wedding (in my biased opinion) the most fun wedding I’ve ever attended. Our group was very small (34 including us), but felt larger than life. We had some unusual requests that were accommodated seamlessly. Robby was outstanding at reading the room and playing music that kept everyone on the dance floor all night. He had phenomenal attention to detail and overall was one of the largest contributing factors in giving us the most fun wedding ever!
We had a mostly older crowd at our wedding, with the average guest being in the 35-45 range, so we weren’t interested in a lot of the more contemporary music, but classic rock can be a little challenging for a dance floor. Robby did a phenomenal job of combining our love of the less-danceable music with songs that would cater to everyone without getting overly contemporary (I don’t even know who Cardi B is). Everyone has been talking about how fun our wedding was since we left the venue.
A Bride’s DJ is reasonably priced and worth every dime (and so much more). I would even go so far as to classify as priceless. We couldn’t be any happier than we are and we highly recommend Robby for any event you may have. You won’t be disappointed!

Eddy was our DJ and I have nothing bad to say. He was on top of everything! Eddy was professional and personable. He even caught a mistake that I made in the schedule I gave him and was flexible enough to move things around without blinking an eye. Just truly amazing. I could not have asked for a better DJ.

A Bride's DJ is amazing! What a fantastic team. Both Diana and Robby communicated with us clearly and honestly from the very beginning. We ended up having to switch our DJ from the one we were originally assigned and Robby called us right away to let us know about the situation and was so kind and professional. And to be honest, the switch in our DJ was the BEST blessing in disguise!! DJ Lucas was AMAZING!!! He was exactly what we wanted in a DJ. He kept us and our guests on the dance floor all night. We had so many people say how wonderful he was and what a great time they had because of him. He was professional, fun and an overall great part of our wedding. Lucas really took the time to get to know us and the music style we wanted and kept to it perfectly. We would highly recommend A Bride's DJ and DJ Lucas Joy!!!

We had DJ Danny from A Bride's DJ and he hit the ball out of the park! We met with him before our wedding day to go through all the details and he was so helpful in streamlining our timeline and making suggestions for songs at various parts of the evening. He executed perfectly! He played all of our requested songs while still keeping all of our guests on the dance floor (even when it started raining!!). It was the most perfect day! Robby was awesome! From our first phone call through the entire process he was responsive and fun. Not only does he have a sense of humor which keeps the planning fun but he is adaptable to change. When our ceremony piano player backed out at the last minute Robby was ready to jump in without missing a beat. Our guest list included a wide range of ages and musical tastes and Robby was able to play to the crowd; we received many compliments on the night and how enjoyable it was. He brought our eclectic musical tastes to life in a way that is more than we could've asked for.

From start to finish, working with Diana and A Bride’s DJ was a breeze!
The DJ was extremely important to my husband and after interviewing several DJ’s and speaking with Diana, we knew that we wanted to work with this company. Transparent pricing and great customer service are what we instantly received and Diana was always willing to answer questions as they arose.
I wanted a mashup dance with my dad and another DJ told me that providing this service would require studio time and a sound engineer. When I informed Diana of my request, she put me in touch with another DJ and he created my first dance at no charge. He even made a last minute adjustment the week before my wedding.
DJ Danny was AMAZING. He cared about getting to know my husband and I, understanding our backstory and how to correctly pronounce the names of our family members. The Monday before our wedding, we went over the reception timeline and he ensured us that he would try our best to keep us on schedule. He has a background in the music industry and he really cared about the needs of my husband and I on the best day of our lives.
When the reception rolled around, DJ Danny made sure he found us 15 minutes before any major event (cake cutting, first dance) to give us ample time to be ready. He kept the dance floor packed the entire night and played every song that we wanted to hear.
I would highly recommend this company. They cared about our wedding day and went above and beyond to make it the best reception ever!

We utilized DJ Dave and he was great! We held our ceremony at the venue two hours before the cocktail hour, while he played the music for and provided a microphone for the officiant. We utilized them for cocktail hour, dinner and dancing music as well. Dave was more than willing to play all of our songs. When the bride and groom asked for a song he would play it next. We would recommend DJ Dave for a Bride’s DJ!

Diana was so helpful and made us feel at ease hiring her team for our wedding. She went above and beyond answering all my questions, no matter how little and probably annoying. This company is the best! From the start they were very proactive with communication and the details of what their packages offer so we could choose what would be best for us. Robby was the DJ at our wedding and he was awesome! We chose not to have a planner for the whole day which meant I was keeping track of several things throughout the day. Robby was not one of them- he was on time, played awesome music and really made the reception fun with the games he suggested. He even made a video of the wedding from clips he got throughout the day. I would definitely recommend A Bride's DJ!

Robby was our DJ for our wedding on 12/2/17. He was amazing. Everyone was so easy to communicate with from the moment we booked up until the wedding day. We spoke with him the week prior and explained exactly what we were looking for when it came to the type of music as well as the atmosphere on the dance floor. He was amazing! Our dance floor was full and everyone was loving the diversity in the music. We could not of asked for a better turnout. We also had dance floor props and those were a huge hit!! We had the best experience working with A Bride's DJ throughout the process and DJ James Fruits was fantastic! The company really worked with us to find a DJ that matched our style and services needed. Any inquires I had would be responded to promptly, usually within the same day. They have great tools & guides that help explain what to think about for the day of and help plan the perfect event. Prices were a bit higher than other companies I looked into but well worth every single penny. DJ James was so easy to work with and helped us come up with the perfect plan for our wedding day. He gave great recommendations and listened to all our requests, party went on all night! He MC'd our ceremony & reception flawlessly and also played acoustic guitar during dinner which was a huge hit and really made for a special moment. Great experience, would recommend to anyone looking for a DJ!

Our experience with A Brides DJ and Lucas was incredible. From the beginning they were extremely detailed and a pleasure to work with. MARCUS JORDAN is the best DJ we have every experience at ANY wedding - and it happened to be our own! Marcus was great to work with from start to finish. He was very organized and helped us with any questions we had, timeline, and music guidance. We picked Marcus because he didn't seem to come off as the typical cheesy DJ you experience at every other wedding. He was AMAZING! The entire time he played songs the guests WANTED to hear and kept the dance floor busy the whole night. We got SO many compliments from our guests that he was such an awesome DJ.

He was also a great host with announcing the different events throughout the reception - very smooth talker and wasn't awkward.

Marcus also provided the uplighting for our reception space. He met with us a couple months before the wedding to do a walkthrough of the space and discuss where the lights should be situated and what color would look best. The lights were perfect and was really a great addition to the atmosphere of the reception.

THANK YOU MARCUS for such a wonderful wedding experience!

A Bride's DJ did an absolutely amazing job with our wedding. Tim, our DJ, went out of his way to make sure my husband and I had the exact up-lighting, and music we wanted for our special day. He continually checked in with us throughout the night to see if there was any specific songs we would like to hear, and he even brought us drinks a number of times (totally was not something he was required to do)! I was never once confused throughout the process, as Tim kept me up to date on everything. He even made a special intro remix for us! In terms of DJ and price, look no further.

I cannot give enough rave reviews on the service of everyone at A Brides DJ. Marty was amazing setting up our uplighting. He was so patient when we were at our venue selecting colors and layout. He went above and beyond. Our reception site was lit up perfectly! Our DJ was Devon. He guided our night to go seamless and really was able to give us exactly what we wanted. He is amazing!! We had Devon- DJ Rev Dev!! He was AWESOME!! a couple days before our wedding he spent over an hour making sure to have every detail- names pronounced correctly, songs for the first dance, cake cutting, entrances ETC. He made sure that he get to know my husband and I to make sure our evening went perfectly. I can honestly say that without him our evening would not have gone so smoothly. He kept everything on track and moving along. He was very personable and I think he enjoyed himself as well! He played all the songs I had wanted and did not play any on my "do not play list." I would highly recommend for a fun reception that keeps people on the dance floor!

Super easy to work with, gave great guides to help communicate what we were looking for from our DJ, and made the wedding reception the dance party we were looking for! Scott blew us away with his knowledge and experience doing wedding receptions - we were his 900th wedding, so we had great confidence in what we were signing up for. Marcus was literally amazing!!! He was talked about constantly throughout the night and SEVERAL guests were asking, "where in the world did you find such an awesome DJ?!" A Bride's DJ was so communicative from the start! We had to switch DJs a week before the wedding, but I knew whoever our DJ was they would be great - and DJ Matt was! We had Scott as our DJ and I would recommend him to anyone that wants to not have any worries or regrets about their DJ! The week of our wedding we had a phone call with him that was very professional and organized to ensure that we picked out all of our songs for the special moments of our night. He came out to meet us before the reception started and prepped us for how the night was going to proceed which really put us at ease knowing that he would make sure everything was timed correctly. He made sure that all of the wedding party had drinks ready for them before we entered since we could not go in until our grand entrance. At one moment of the night there was a song playing that I (the bride) did not particularly like and just by noticing the look on my face he changed it to something else. He really went above and beyond to make sure we were completely taken care of for the night. I would recommend A Bride's DJ to anyone (especially Scott-he also will lead the group in Thriller if asked which is amazing). They are very professional and really give you the feeling that they care about your wedding day.

We are so glad we went with A Bride's DJ for our October 2016 wedding. From our first conversation with the owner we were impressed. She really listened to what we wanted in a DJ and then gave us the biographies of two DJ's she thought we'd like and that would work well for us. We picked DJ Dave and are so glad we did!!! We had our week-of phone call with him and he made us feel so calm and comfortable! He was professional, yet personable. He really seemed to care about his role in our wedding and wanted to hear what we wanted. The day of he was just the same way! He played just the right music for our crowd and kept everyone on the dance floor. We received a lot of compliments from our guests! The process of using this company was simple as well and they really did a great job at making it easy on the bride and groom. Highly recommend them!

A Bride's DJ came highly recommended from our venue staff and coordinator, so it was one of our easiest decisions throughout the planning process. From my initial call with Diana to the end of our wedding day, we received the BEST service from this company. Our week-of call with Robby was so relaxed and informative. He gave great recommendations on the timeline/logistics of our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception which was far beyond what we expected of him. After speaking with him, we fully trusted him to keep up the good vibes throughout the night. I joked and said that if he was able to get my parents out on the dance floor, he was winning at life. Fast forward to our wedding day, my mom and dad probably outdanced the young crowd. I couldn't believe it. Robby was so thoughtful and genuinely engaged in our event. He brought out bottles of water for my new husband and I during our formal pictures on a very hot summer day in NC. He made sure we were comfortable throughout the night and even refreshed our beers at one point. I truly could not have asked for a better experience. Thank you, Robby and the Bride's DJ crew, for making our night so much fun!
