You cannot get any better than Renee and A bride to remember.
I was completely panicked and had no idea where to begin.
Renee took the reigns, asked questions and knew exactly what I wanted and took care of me.
The whole process has been effortless on my part.
Renee helped me choose a dress that was so gorgeous and in my price range and then completely re designed the dress doing the alterations herself to make it fit my body so perfectly.
Everyone that's seen pictures is STUNNED by how amazing this dress is and it's all because of Renee.
I really love that this shop is by appointment only so you always have the place and Renee all to yourself.
She has SO many BEAUTIFUL dresses. There is definitely something for everyone.
She is truly a gem in the bridal community. Thank you so much Renee!
I will feel like a princess on my big day thanks to you!

Rene is amazing! The dresses are beautiful and affordably priced. The samples were so nice and clean. From start to finish, Rene was more than just helpful, she was really invested in getting me my dream dress. She made the dress the easiest part of the wedding planning.

I came to this shop as a bride and a bridesmaid. I needed to find a dress to wear in my brothers wedding, but wanted one I would be able to wear several more times for other formal events I attend. Rene was so helpful, and pulled a dress I would not have thought of. My body is extremely hard to fit and flatter and the first dress she pulled for me was amazing!

Her expertise in alterations is AMAZING! She truly understands how dresses are constructed, and how to maintain the integrity of the dress while altering it. I had a horrific experience with alterations at a chain store with a bridesmaids dress, and was so apprehensive to have alterations again. The experience has been so great that I am bringing my wedding gown (which I had purchased before meeting Rene) as well as my mom and her MOTB dress for alterations. Could not recommend her enough!

Renee of A Bride to Remember knows her dresses!! As others wrote, she puts a LOT of time and effort into getting to know her brides when they're picking out their dresses. Based on the questions she asked, I said I was not looking for a strapless dress or one with "bling." So, what did I pick out after trying on one of Renee's suggestions? A strapless dress with bling. It's gorgeous, and people have been commenting on how beautiful my dress was since our wedding on Friday. I have Renee to thank for that!!!

As a few others have said, there were some communication issues around the time that the fittings were planned to start. The dress had been discontinued, and there was a period of time between when I discovered that online and when Renee got back to me that I was a little concerned that I wouldn't have a dress back in time. However, Renee came back to say she had special-ordered the dress at her own expense so I would have it on time. She apologized for the communication issues, and then proceeded to go above and beyond (over the course of 5 fittings) to make sure my dress was absolutely perfect and done well in time for the wedding. She even created cap sleeves from a second veil that couldn't have been more beautiful!

As my MOH lives out of state, Renee was kind enough to go through a tutorial of how to lace up the back of the dress while my Mom shot a video on my phone, which I then emailed to my MOH. That was a key to the wedding day going so smoothly!!

My only regret is that I only get to wear this beautiful dress once!!

This little shop is definitely not the "picture perfect" store that you might have envisioned picking out your bridal gown. It's cramped, outdated, and the lighting is downright bad. So be prepared for that. However, this happened to be the place that I found my dress! I also saved quite a bit by purchasing the sample. Renee worked with me on several alterations appointments to make it just right (we made some tweaks and changes to the straps and beading), and she did a great job. You could tell she knows her stuff. Communication was a little tricky - had to confirm with her which cell number was working etc. and she sent me the wrong receipt once (fixed right away). But she was there for us when we needed her at the fitting appointments (we being my sister and I) and she stayed the late hours until we got it right. She took extra time to teach my sister how to bustle the dress - it was not simple since I liked the fancy french version! Basically don't expect "the works" with fancy treatment and champagne at this shop. But maybe you'll find a good deal on a beautiful dress, get good advice and hard work from Renee, and avoid the snobbery that might not be your style. :)

We purchased our bridesmaid dresses from A Bride to Remember, and while we loved the dresses in the end, getting them was an extremely stressful process!
Our initial shopping experience was great, Renee is very nice to work with in person, and we found a dress my bridesmaids loved at a good value. We came in October for my June 15 wedding, ordered 3 dresses that day, and I was bringing my MOH in a couple weeks to try on dresses. Renee told me the dresses had a 3-4 month lead time and asked if she should hold the order to wait for the last dress so they could be in the same dye lot. I said no, please proceed with ordering. 3 weeks later, my MOH and I returned, where she ended up purchasing the same dress and ordering it that day, and we were told that the others were on order and this one would be put on order today.

Four full months passed with no word from the shop. I sent a couple emails, and she confirmed that all 4 dresses had been ordered together (despite our discussion), and that due to the factories closing for the holidays they were due to ship by the 3rd week of April, but it was "no problem" and she would talk to me when they came in. She did not acknowledge that the real lead time was now actually 6 months, nor did she bring up the holidays being an issue when we were buying. At the end of April, we all tried to send her emails, voicemails, and texts (her preferred method of contact) and her mailboxes were so full they were rejecting messages! Everytime we managed to get a hold of her, she would tell us "no problems! :)" and assured we had plenty of time for them to do alterations. We finally picked up the dresses in mid-May, 4 weeks before the wedding and nearly 8 months after ordering. Fortunately there were no issues with any of the dresses, and my girls took them elsewhere for alterations. Loved the dresses, they looked beautiful, but this experience was hands-down the most stressful throughout all of my planning!

I found A Bride to Remember off of The Knot and Wedding Wire’s most recommended bridal shops. I called and made an appointment for that Saturday, and when I showed up they had no recollection of my appointment. Luckily the store was available so I was able to try on dresses with my mom and 2 bridesmaids in tow. I found the dress I loved and ended up coming back the next day to purchase it. After that, it was a very disorganized experience. When my dress came in, Renee texted me and I tried to set up an appointment. She never replied back to me, even though I followed up. My mom ended up calling and getting ahold of her and she had gotten me confused with another client, saying I had told her I didn’t need alterations until August (when my wedding was in July!). That should have been a warning sign to me, but we got an alterations appointment set up. The day of my second alternations appointment Renee had to cancel last minute. We set up an appointment for the following week, but then she was a no show. I then left 3 voicemails, multiple texts, my planner emailed her through the Wedding Wire website, my parents went by her store during the week to try to find her, but she never got back to us. Her voicemail was full so when you went to call it would just shut off. She was then unresponsive for 5 very long days. This was three weeks before my wedding, so I was extremely stressed! I even went and tried on dresses off the rack as I wasn’t sure if I would be getting my dress or not. :( This was an extremely disappointing experience as after you find your wedding dress, you image your wedding day with that dress in mind! I kept calling to no avail, but then randomly Renee answered. We were able to take the dress and I had to get rush alterations done at another store. I loved my dress but the experience wasn’t worth it. Overall the experience was very poor and I wouldn’t recommend this store to anyone.

I had an appointment at this location this last Saturday. When we arrived the woman who greeted us acted like she was completely unaware that I even had an appointment and then stated "well hold on I need to finish this: (she was putting a necklace on a piece of cardboard) and then just stated "fill this out". There was no happy greeting or even nice interaction. She then informed me that they only have sample sizes in size 8, 10, and 12. I am larger than a size 12 and she stated "well I think we have 2 samples that are larger but that is it." She then suggested I just "hold the dress up" to see if I liked it. Who in the heck would EVER buy a dress this way? They also allow NO photographs to be taken. The shop was very small and cramped and definitely NOT a good experience. I would not recommend this shop to anyone.
