    As a business owner planning events, I work only with A-1 for any rental needs I have. I find their staff to be courteous, knowledgeable, patient as I decide on what's needed and helpful.

    Anything I rent is impeccably clean, and ready to go -- and as often I use their pick up and delivery service -- reliable and timely are always what comes to mind.

    You get the consistent value you pay for and that is priceless when you consider the other things on your "to do" list as you plan out events!

    A1 Party & Event Rental company did an Amazing job for my wedding this past weekend. We hired them to Deliver about 40 miles away, Set Up, Tear Down and Take Back (approx. 40 more miles). I was in constant communication with Darrick Farr about when they would be delivering and when they would be picking up. I even added to my order on Friday and it was absolutely no problem for them to fulfill. He was Super Great to work with and I would recommend the company and the individual to anyone who is needing a rental of any type!

    Great service; the man who delivered the items had to run back to the store a couple of times for things we forgot to order or realized we needed the morning of the event!

    The responsiveness of Caralee was awesome. We would email back and forth and it never took more than a day for her to get back to me. I really appreciated this aspect.

    Caralee was our main consultant who got everything started & Elizabeth was the other lady who helped get a last minute change done in the system before picking items up.....they both were Very sweet and easy to work with! And the guys who helped load our trailer were very helpful and made things go smoothly! Thank you to all that helped!

    We only rented chair ties, but I almost wish I would have rented everything from A-1, as they were so easy to work with, and seemed to have everything in stock.

    They have a great selection of wedding rentals! The candlebras are amazing there! We were going to rent a dj in a box before we got our dj (in person) they let us put down half of the deposit and within a week, we called them back and asked for our deposit back since we were not going to be needing the rental anymore. I didn't even have to go back up there for anything! They were total professionals there and over the phone! I will recommend them for my friends weddings! =)

    They were really great. They had a few books of photo examples of decorations and ideas that anyone can come look through. I would recommend going early in the day to their shop because they are very popular and get busy as the day goes on. Also, check at bridal shows and in the mail for coupons for their services, and it wouldn't hurt to ask them what the best is they can do for you if you don't have a coupon.

    Party Perfect was a dream to deal with... they were helpful, professional, and accommodating. They made suggestions that streamlined things so much.. their pick up and check in procedures are so smooth and painless!! Wonderful company!

    We rented champagne glasses from them. Their policies were very reasonable, and their prices were great too. Dealing with them for my wedding was perfect until a few weeks after the wedding.

    I got a phone call asking if I had returned the glasses. Luckily, I had a receipt to prove they had been returned, but if I didn't, and they couldn't be accounted for, would they have made me pay the ~$500 to replace them? I was horrified and stressed out! It turned out the person who had checked the glasses back in hadn't counted them and put them into inventory, but I have to ask myself if that's my problem. Shouldn't they have counted them before they freaked me out? I think so. Other than that little bit of terror, everything else was great!

    Lesson learned? Keep ALL receipts and contracts even several months after your wedding!

    The staff from the people in the office to the men who delivered our dance floor, chairs, tables and glasses were awesome. I had to give the Quality of Service a 4 out of 5 stars because they had to come back twice because the first time they forgot the tables and the edges of the dance floor. Also the chairs were dirty.
    They responsiveness to these mistakes was great. They were quick to make corrections and fix the problem. We got a discount of the chairs because we had to clean them ourselves. They didn't make excuses, they politely apologize and gave us a solution.
    I would recommend A1 Party Rental for their politeness and professionalism. I have a feeling the few hiccups I had in service are not a regular occurrence and I was happy with how they handled it.

    A1-Party and Event Rental was great to work with for our Ribbon Cutting ceremony. I was planning this from out of town, and they were great to work with over the phone and via email. All of the items were clean and in great shape. We had a tight schedule for the tent to be set up, and they were wonderful. Thank you so much for taking the stress out of our day!

    We had a great experience with A-1. We picked out several items for our big day. They arrived on time, and also set up the larger items. Everything was exactly what we chose and came clean and pressed. The items were picked up a few days later and they staff was very nice and friendly. Some prices were a little higher (than expected) but everything turned out beautiful and very nice. I would highly recommend them as one of the BEST places to rent in MId-Missouri! Dont waste your time on anything else! Just go there! Stress -free!!

    We rented our linens at A-1 Party Rental. The quality and service was great! I would definitely recommend them for linens. Great selection! When we picked up our linens I saw all kinds of things that weren't online that I would have loved for the wedding. So make sure you visit the showroom!

    This vendor was very good. We got married on my sister's farm and they provided the tent along with everything down to the lighting and dance floor. They were very friendly and willing to help us decide what we would need. They were also very helpful in setting everything up.

    We rented a lot of items from Party Perfect and were very pleased with everything. The prices were reasonable and they have so many items to choose from! They are strict with their renturn policy, though - my family was very cramped for time returning the chairs and tables. If you're getting married during a busy time of the year, book the items you need early - they are a popular rental company!

    Had my DJ cancel the week before the wedding and he was providing my projector and screen for slideshow. The new DJ couldn't provide this so A1 said they were available and also gave me a cheaper rate. Very happy with the service!

    This company set up the ceremony chairs for my outdoor wedding based on a diagram I provided. They set everything up on time, but we found that they did not pick up the equipment when they were supposed to. They left the chairs outside on this public (rentable) space for multiple days, which set up a chance for theft and would have been my responsibility.

    I had a great experience otherwise. I would just ensure drop off and pick up times are very clear with them.

    A-1 Party Rental offers so many items to help make both the ceremony and reception special. It was fun going through their website and checking out the many items they have on display at their store. When checking the items out they did a great job loading everything into the car and explaining the return policies. They are not open on Sundays so plan to return goods on Monday and there was a rental deposit for some of the items which you'll get back in full if you return everything as they describe.

    We got beautiful tents, a dance floor, chairs and tables from A1. They are very helpful and the tents are stunning. It transformed the back yard into a setting fit for a fairy tale wedding. The best part is that they put up the tents early (we had them up from Thursday - Monday for our Saturday wedding) and they do it all! You will have to set up chairs and the dance floor, however.

    It rained during our wedding and reception, but because of the quality of the tents -- provided with gutters, sides and even windows-- we had know idea that we were in a down pour.

    I had a wonderful experience with A1 for my wedding. My wedding was on a very popular day and they were able to work around all my needs effectively and timely. The items that I rented, such as chairs, were delivered and picked up perfectly on time. My only complaint was that they did not help pick up chairs or set them where they were needed. Their rental prices were very reasonable for the most part, on bigger items.

    This compnay always enjoys the services that we receive from A1 Rental. The only issue was that one of the uplights had a shortage and was not usable. Otherwise, A1 receives an A+

    They were great. Fast, prepared and helpful. The unit was good, but there were two little problems: The latch that connected one speaker to the carry case was broken. They knew this when they handed it to me. Also, the on/off switch on the hand mic did not work. But these we not major problems.

    A1 supplied some of the items for my rehearsal dinner and wedding. Their selection is pretty standard but they can order in most anything you want if you need speciality linens or other items. I was very happy working with their safe and everyting went smoothy with the delivery and pick up of the items. I would recommend to anyone in the Columbia, MO area.

    Please be sure when you specify spoons that you don't get large teaspoons. The ones we had were too big.

    So I really wanted to write a review for this one since honestly they had the best selection. Their show room is beautiful and as far as new, nice items I would say they have that market in Columbia. But the pricing and extra services we were charged for was outrageous. Not only were we charged damage waivers on our tables and chairs (that was non-refundable on top of their already high prices) but when our numbers changed two months out we were not allowed to change our order without a hefty penalty. I understand last minute changes are hard for anyone to accomodate but two months?! We were already spending over $1000 with them; I would have expected to be treated with more respect instead of a just a number. I get that they must do a lot of business but if you are looking for better service, look elsewhere!

    Some of the staff were very helpful, but information that I received from them was rather inconsistent. First they told me that the numbers of tables that I had would seat over 250. I found out later that they only seated close to 200. They rented me "table runners" that were supposed to be 8 inches wide, but then turned out to be 4 inches wide (they were actually chair sashes).
    The laborers they brought out to install the tent were competent, but they were very rude to my family on the site. This made it a rather unpleasant experience.
    Also, after deconstruction, they were constantly bothering my parents about whether they (the workers) left this or that at the site. They weren't even organized enough to take everything they needed in one trip.

    They do have everything you need in the Columbia, MO area, but be wary of what they tell you. Do not believe anything that they say. Make sure you see the product in person or see a drawn setup.

    I will never again rent from a-1 again. Had hard time getting ahold of anyone, prices were outrageous and they catch you on fine print and don't explain everything until they have your card and charge it without approval first. They charge outrageous amounts for a delivery and the quality of the chairs were awful, they were dirty rusty and scratched up.
