We got married in October 2025. I saw an IG ad from an influencer I follow that had translucent film for their wedding, and thought this was the perfect touch for our wedding.
Michael was so quick to respond with quotes, and was nice enough to provide us with many options and accommodations. Michael also did a great job in helping us design our film strip so it was very "us". Thankfully Michael had experience at our venue as well, so he was able to tell us precisely where he would set up, and how long it would take his team.
The props 8bit photo had were such a HIT! We had 3 - 4 generations and literally everyone was in line waiting to take really fun cute photos with their families, us (the bride and groom).
We were also a bit apprehensive that the translucent film would be too transparent, but it was actually perfect, and EVERYONE oohed and awed over them because they hadn't seen anything like that before!

Michael has been wonderful from start to finish. When I first reached out, Michael was very responsive and transparent with his services . We had originally agreed on some services but I had needed to make some adjustments a few weeks prior to our wedding and he was very flexible. He explained everything, and answered all the questions I had prior to signing the contract. Michael was professional all around. On the day of my wedding he made sure the bride and groom got a chance to use the photo booth. He had some of our wedding party find us to make sure. I really appreciated that. My guest also raved about how awesome the photo booth was and that there were very cool props! After the wedding, I received the digital files fairly quickly and was able to view the fun my guests had with the photo booth! We sure would use his services again even if it wasn't for a wedding! (I actually don't know if he does that but it would be cool)
If you're on the fence about a photo booth service, I say you say yes! He did everything so that I didn't not have to worry on the day of the wedding! Set up and break down like a ninja lol. One thing I wish I had chosen were the 4x6 photos. I think they're awesome. You have the option to choose which size photos and which way it prints as well as your own design! -

We used 8bit Photobooth at our wedding for their photobooth and audio guestbook services. Everything went so smoothly and they had excellent communication throughout the entire process. I appreciate the variety of backdrops you can pick from and my guests and I loved the props that were brought along for our event. Yay for boba and a giant cup of noodles! :)
I was very pleased with the audio guestbook! We had so many of our guests saying how cute this is and how fun it was to record a message. We also received the images/voice messages SO fast! We were emailed our gallery either later that night or early next morning. We were very impressed with 8bit Photobooth and would definitely use them again. -

Get the Audio Voicemail!
We worked with Michael on our wedding day, specifically for the photobooth and voicemail recordings that our guests could leave us. Before diving into the details, though, I’d highly recommend going with the voicemail services for your event! We just finished listening through all of them and hearing our guests get progressively more intoxicated throughout the night was so much fun!
I’ll start with the photobooth - there are two aspects here that I was really happy with. First, the photos printed within seconds, with enough copies for everyone. With weddings, you want to be everywhere at once: the bar, the dance floor, the photobooth, the restroom, and time spent waiting for your photobooth pictures to print can be a little bit of a buzzkill, so having the pictures printed and ready to go before we finish putting the props back was great. Speaking of the props, those were some pretty hilarious props! From hotdog hand gloves to cute boba plushies, Michael sure brought a unique and entertaining list for our guests to enjoy!
Second is the voicemail. These days, how many people even know what a traditional landline, corded telephone is? Maybe that’s why foot traffic was a little bit lighter to start the evening. This is where Michael came in, when he noticed that guests were overlooking the voicemail messages, he began to walk around pre-wedding (and during cocktail hour) to prompt guests to leave a message! By the end of the night the crowd had found its legs and were all hurrying over to the phone to leave us… unique messages, oftentimes more than once!
Like I said before, Michael did a great job helping us capture moments of the wedding from our guests’ perspective, and I appreciate having him be a part of the festivities!

Michael has been nothing but absolutely wonderful. The experience with Michael from the beginning to the end has been nothing but outstanding. Michael has been so responsive with my emails for the last seven months leading up to our wedding. And his responsiveness comes at any time of day! He worked so well with my needs and always gave me feedback when I needed it. Any questions that had came up, Michael always had resolutions. I had ideas of what design I had wanted for our photobooth pictures, and he came up with a mock-up within the day. He’s been nothing but great, and was my absolute favorite vendor to work with. 11/10 recommended, and you will not be disappointed.

Highly recommend 8Bit Photobooth for any special event. Michael was excellent with communication, able to answer any questions/concerns I had, and was even able to incorporate my invitation design into the photos! I have also been to multiple events with different photobooth companies, but I have never seen props that included a rice cooker, a tabo, and giant boba props! The guests LOVED it and everyone had a really great time taking pictures.
I am very grateful to be able to work with Michael and Kristina (day of attendant) to make my wedding day special. Please consider them for your next event! -

Michael is so professional to work with. He was so patient throughout. I was so nervous since we planned the wedding in just 3 months. I am so glad I found 8Bit Photobooth. Our pictures came out amazing. We also rented floral backdrop. It made our reception look so elegant. The props chosen were also very elegant. I am so glad we hired them. Fantastic, creative, easy-to-use photobooth that all our guests loved! We booked 8bit about 3 months before our wedding. We chose 8bit because of the user-friendly interface, the ability to print multiple copies for each guest in the photo to take home, ability to email photos/access them in an online gallery, free custom designed prints, and how affordable it is! Michael was also wonderful to work with and his responsiveness and friendliness helped reduce our wedding stress. He was so helpful with designing the prints to match our wedding theme and he even brought dental-related props that I had shyly requested! Plus all the other props are really cute too, like the dumplings and boba. I would recommend 8bit for all your needs! -

8Bit Photobooth was an incredible vendor to work with for our wedding last month and we would highly recommend them for any event! Michael was friendly and always responded to questions quickly. The booking process was super straightforward, and I really appreciated how organized their website is to view examples of backgrounds/props/photo layouts.
On wedding day, I was really impressed by the variety of cute and unique photobooth props provided (ex. boba, rice cooker, candies, etc)! I requested the boba and they even made sure to ask which colors I wanted. I also noticed them handing different props to guests to make the experience and photos more fun! Most importantly, there weren't any technical issues during the wedding and guests could visit the photobooth without any interruptions!
After the wedding, Michael had our photobooth album ready to go the next day! There is also an easy download all feature to save all your guests photos. Our experience with 8Bit Photobooth was so enjoyable from start to finish. I would highly recommend them for your wedding or any other event! -

Working with Michael was the best! All our guests complimented how attentive and professional he and his assistant were. Michael helped design our layout and was able to include my dog 😁. He would respond to emails in a matter of minutes to help make sure everything (font, layout, colors, etc.) were what we envisioned for our wedding. His props are amazing and so cute! We love the bobas!! I highly recommend him for any event. We were so glad and thankful we were able to work with him! -

8Bit Photo Booth!!
We hired 8Bit for our wedding reception.
The set up was perfect, the pictures came out great. Our guests have alot of fun taking photos with the photobooth. Lots of fun props to add extra flair to the pictures… the rice cooker was by far my favorite prop!!
Michael is friendly and gets back to you asap.
Highly recommend for any event for great, fun, amazing photos for you and your guests!! -

We're so happy that we booked 8Bit Photo Booth for our wedding! From the first inquiry all the way to the day of the wedding, Michael was so efficient in his communication and was such a pleasure to work with! He even helped us design our photo strips and sent us samples so we good see what it would look like with the backdrop we chose. All of our guests loved the vintage style design of the camera and especially loved the boba prop! 8 Bit Photobooth is my GO TO Photo Booth company. I just hired them for my own wedding, and I am also a wedding DJ that has recommended them for other weddings. Their set up is immaculate and very cool looking, they have great props, friendly attendants, high quality prints, amazing choice of backdrop and photo strip templates, and even do GIF's! Best photobooth ever!
AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING!! 8Bit was sooooo amazing to work with. We were looking for a photobooth for our wedding. We reached out to a few photobooth companies but 8Bit was so quick with getting back to us and just stood out from the rest from the get go. I worked with Michael via email and he was so great. He made everything so easy and was always SO QUICK with responding. And when planning a wedding, that is SO IMPORTANT! It was one less thing I had to stress about. He helped with designs for the photobooth print out and even sent me samples super late at night. He's always working! Day of the event, his sister and another staff member managed our booth and they were so so sweet and friendly! The props they provided were perfect for our us and our guests. Not only this, they saved up print outs of all the photos that my husband and I were in and had our usb flash drive ready for us to take at the end of night. AND when I checked my email later that night, they already had our album available on their website for us & all of our guests to look at. Our wedding ended at midnight and Michael emailed me a little past 1 am! I'm telling you - he's always working! But overall we had SUCH A GREAT EXPERIENCE with 8bit and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a photobooth. They also have a lot of backdrop/ layout/ prop options. Thank you again 8Bit for being part of our special day! You guys were amazingggg!! -

We were one of the COVID-postponed weddings and finally tied the knot on July 10, 2021! All throughout our wedding planning and brief hiatus during the pandemic, Michael was amazing to work with. He was always one of the first vendors to respond so quickly to us, making our coordination with him effortless. When we had to postpone and change the date a few times because of venue date conflicts, he was incredibly flexible and willing to accommodate our changes. What we loved most about the photo booth was the vintage-air style camera that we upgraded to. It elevated the photo booth experience so we definitely recommend getting that upgrade! We were able to customize the photo strip designs to fit our tropical wedding theme and the designs came out so beautifully! The photo booth was a hit at our reception! Michael and his assistant were so quick and efficient to get every group and party on the photo booth smoothly. It was such a hit that it seemed like the photo booth was busy the whole night! Everyone enjoyed taking pictures and we can’t thank Michael enough for being such a pleasure to work with! Thank you for making our wedding planning a smooth experience and for giving our guests an unforgettable experience! We will definitely book you for our next event! -

Thank you 8Bit Photobooth for being a part of our wedding. We can't thank you enough! Michael and his team were great to work with. Super responsive from quotes to recommendations. We had to postpone our wedding once and Michael was very flexible and made sure we had nothing to worry about. The props were so much fun. All ages will love it! I highly recommend the modern air look if you're going for that clean chic look. We also added the Meet & Greet, which was awesome because it saved us so much time as each guests was able to snap a pic with us rather than finding people in the middle of a wedding party. I was very impressed with how quickly their system operated. Literally, snap, print and go. Great addition to any event! Again, thank you Michael and the 8Bit Photobooth crew! -

8Bit Photobooth was easily our favorite vendor for our wedding. I inquired immediately after seeing photos of their work on Instagram and did not hesitate booking them right away after a pleasant e-mail exchange with Michael. Prices were very comparable to others, even cheaper than many but with way better quality photos and more included services that others would charge you more for (unlimited prints, GIFs, etc). We booked them an entire year out before our wedding day - not taking any chances of losing out on them! Michael is extremely easy to communicate with and made the inquiry process very clear and easy. He provided all the necessary details and was very accommodating. We actually cancelled with him just weeks before our wedding due to Covid and he gave us a full refund, no questions asked. However, we ended up changing our wedding plans AGAIN and I reached out to him and was very thankful he was still available. On the day of the wedding, Michael was very sweet and considerate. He knew I'd be all over the place and assured me not to worry about the set up since I was not able to meet him ahead of time. We were running a little behind to the reception but things went very smoothly as soon as we arrived. Michael even made sure I liked the way the photos turned out by doing some test shots before starting the entry photos with guests. As for Covid, Michael and his assistant were very cautious; they both wore masks the entire night and wiped down all props in between photobooth sessions. At the end of the night, I was given hard copies of every single entry photo taken with guests which was very nice to have. He even had the digital photos up on the website on the same night ready for guests to view. If you are lucky enough to have 8Bit as your photobooth vendor for ANY occasion, you will be very pleased. If you are considering them, don't think too much - just book them! -

Everything you want in a vendor
From the moment I saw the Vintage-Air Photo Booth, I knew 8Bit was the one. Michael was super responsive and accommodating to our needs. He was very flexible with changes and was very organized on the day of our wedding. Every email we sent out, we received a reply between 10 mins to 24 hours. As a bride, I did not have to worry about getting my Photo Booth on the same page.
We love how he not only showcased the Photo Booth from our wedding on his socials, but the most memorable parts of our special day. All of our guests enjoyed the Photo Booth and the props that came with it. Michael serviced our guests and helped them with print outs without any trouble. He really went out of his way to make everyone using the booth feel very comfortable.
The price was reasonable and within our budget compared to other photo booths I researched. Of course, I liked 8Bit the best. Photos were easily accessible via text and email.
I would definitely use 8bit again in the future. Unfortunately I live in Oakland, Ca now and they are based in SoCal. So if you're ever in need of a Photo Booth, I would definitely recommend 8bit Photo Booth for sure! 11/10, HIGHLY recommend!

High Quality Service & Photos
I've seen so many photobooth and meet & greet photos before and 8bitphotobooth has by far the BEST photos. The quality of the photos are amazing and we got endless compliments from our guests about it, especially the luxury prints for the meet & greets! Everyone had such a blast with the photobooth too, the props were really unique and funny! Also, I want to mention that working with Michael, the co-founder, was a great experience from beginning to end. He always made sure every thing was perfect and followed up with me periodically.
I swear you will not regret booking this awesome company! Thank you again 8bitphotobooth for everything. I'll forever remember my wedding and all of the fun we had through these beautiful photos -

Highly Recommended
Amazing service. Michael was in constant communication making sure I was happy with the picture design and that I understood the services offered. The setup is lovely, the camera makes the scene look elegant, the props are fun, the option for gif and picture slide is fantastic. My guests had a great time making use of of the photo booth. Every once in a while you come across a vendor that is such a pleasure and ease to work with that you cannot recommend them enough; Michael is that vendor. I look forward to contacting 8-bit for future events and will continue to tell everyone about them. -

8bit Photobooth was our photobooth vendor for my wedding. They were simply amazing. They blew my wife and I away with their level of service and quality of their photobooth. Michael was so easy to work with and made some magic happen when we had some special requests regarding filters. The team that manned the booth was kind, friendly and patient with all of our guests. All of our guests raved about the photobooth and there was a line all night. They exceeded our expectations with the top notch customer support and photobooth. -

We hired Michael for our wedding and we could not have been more pleased with the service provided. If you are planning a wedding, you know that anything 'wedding' costs an arm and a leg. 8bit get's you the nice booth you want, with great photos and props that cater to your needs without ripping a hole in your already bleeding wallet. We even had him do some custom work for our photobooth and it turned out to be really fun for our guests. Our guests had a great time with the photoboooth, and Michael himself not only get's great photos, but is also great with the guests as well. It really adds to the atmosphere when vendors are personable.
He also has some great referrals as well, so if you are looking to hire a videographer, or other things for your wedding, don't forget to ask. Every vendor he referred us to turned out to be fantastic! One last thing, Michael is a stand up guy; there was an error(my fault) in our original agreement that would have allowed him to charge us more than his normal rate, but upon finding the error re-wrote the contract with the correct and fair pricing). When you're looking through reviews on wedding related things, you'll notice that there are a lot of '5-Star' reviews and it can be difficult to tell which vendors are actually good. Do yourself a favor and hire 8bit so you can sit back and enjoy your wedding.
