Ocho Rios Wedding

876 Sounds made our party as memorable and fun as someone could possibly ask for!! They made sure to play each and every song we requested and even every type of music we asked as there were definitely a few different genres!! They even played each one at the most opportune times!! The videos they collected through our night were just icing on the cake, as they were sooo fun to watch and relive our night and of course, share with our loved ones! This company definitely knows entertainment and will keep your guests engaged the whole time (only if you like to have fun that is) hahaha. 100000% recommend!

There’s not enough positive words to truly say about 876 Sounds. Despite some inclement weather delaying our ceremony and reception, Randy and the rest of her team worked diligently to give us the best possible wedding experience. The met with us via telephone prior to the wedding to discuss our music tastes and get a feel and they far surpassed our expectations. All of our guests raved about the music and entertainment and we are so thankful we booked with them. There’s no way you can go wrong with 876 Sounds!

Best night of our lives

I don’t think there is ANYTHING I can say about 876 Sounds that hasn’t been said a million times. If you’re having a wedding in Jamaica and not using 876 Sounds what even are you doing???? They are literally the life of the party, and we knew we were going to throw whatever money was necessary at them to book them. Lol. They were the first vendor we booked, and we had a call about 2 weeks before the wedding with Randy and DJ Pablo. It was the best call; we all had such a great rapport with each other. They went through the timeline and our songs and suggested some changes that would flow better for our entrance to the ceremony. We’ve never had any doubts that they would throw down and throw down they did! Our ceremony entrance was timed perfectly by them, and they played our songs as discussed. The played during cocktail hour and let me tell you the reception WAS LIT. The MC was beyond my expectations, and he had everyone laughing all night. He was the perfect pick for our crowd, and he kept the whole night hype. DJ Pablo THREW DOWN. My dancefloor was not empty all night. He played exactly what we wanted, and he followed the crowd’s vibe. What more can you ask of a DJ. He brought the party. Randy recorded everything and we are so glad she did because we were able to relive the night the next day when she posted all the clips. If you go to their Instagram, we are one of their Highlights under Simone and Ian. A time was had! They are worth every single cent. Zero regrets.

🤩 Amazing!!

Randy, DJ Pablo and MC Auzzie did an amazing job for our wedding. We had a very diverse group in age, background and culture and they knew how to keep everyone dancing the whole night. All the guests keep raving about them. We had a meeting a few weeks before our event and we didn’t need to provide much direction because they seem to know exactly what we wanted. Choosing 876 Sounds was one of the easiest decisions we had to make during the wedding planning. 💯 recommend

My guests were impressed with them just as we were . Dynamic team who I owe a seamless wedding to. They even helped me replace my Emcee with zero notice . Amazing & Attentive

We found 876Sounds via Instagram and viewed a few videos of ceremonies they were a part of on YouTube. We wanted our wedding ceremony and reception to feel like a party. 876Sounds delivered just that. The only time our guests were seated, was during dinner. Our wedding was the talk of the resort! DJ Kept Us on the Dancefloor ALL NIGHT!

If you want a DJ who will keep you and your guest on the dance floor all night then look no further! I loved working with Randi while preparing for my wedding. She and her husband are an awesome team to work with. He listened to every request I had and made sure I got all the music I wanted. They even surprised me with a custom sign with our names on it! Such a nice touch! They played a range of music for all our guest. Our wedding guest are still talking about how much fun they had. 876 is very professional, timely, and kind. I am so glad I choose them as to provide the DJ and MC services.

If you want the best reception hire 876 sounds

876 sound is the best dj services In Jamaica and that I’ve ever worked with! My husband and I are actually very shy people but we danced all night with our friends and family! Our day was going completely wrong with the behind the scenes wedding stuff but they instantly changed it around for us. The experience was beautiful. The vibes did not stop from start to finish. I can even get into how amazing the MC overall if you’re on the fence about a dj please choose 876 sounds you won’t be disappointed!

876 Sounds exceeded my expectations!! The package we booked which included the MC and extras such as up lights, cold sparklers and dancing in the clouds added just the right touch. My wedding day was magical I danced from the beginning to end. They are very professional, punctual, friendly and offer top quality service and equipment . The Dj area was set up with a classy monogram of our names and decorative finish in all white coverings for the speakers.The DJ was well versed in musical selections from other cultures and my guest from different cultural background were able to dance to familiar tunes from their culture. The MC kept the guest involved and entertained. I received so many compliments from my guest weeks after requesting the wedding playlist. I would recommend 876 sounds to any couple planning a destination wedding or any big celebration in Jamaica, trust me you won’t regret it!!

Perfect Day

Randy and her husband are a absolute pleasure to work with. Their vibes are just excellent and they know exactly what they are doing! They provided me with a DJ, dance floor, sparklers, clouds, MC, and uplighting. After seeing all their YouTube videos I had to go with them and I’m so glad I did. Perfect from beginning to end. Vibes was just flowing. I was lit all night. They even took some of the grown ups out of dance retirement. They played everything we wanted and their MC added the needed touch to complete. The best experience in our life

876 sound went above and beyond to make our wedding day extra special!!! The set up, lighting and music was more then we could have ever asked for. Epic! Best DJ Experience Ever!

876 was awesome! The DJ had my guests on dance floor the entire time. The Emcee had the whole wedding hyped at night long. They bought a 360 Photo booth, up lights, and cold sparklers. 876 Sounds is the only vendor you need to consider when it comes to entertainment for your wedding. During the planning process, Randy was absolutely incredible. We scheduled several phone calls to discuss our music preferences and the vibe that we were interested in. She wanted to get to know us as a couple to ensure that both of us would have a great time. By the time our big day came, it didn’t feel like I was meeting a vendor, it felt like I was meeting a friend. Our venue and coordinator dropped the ball and screwed up our timeline for our reception, however the 876 team completely saved the day! They kept everyone dancing and having such a great time that no one realized things went wrong. If you want to ensure that your wedding will be absolutely incredible, BOOK 876!!!

Excellent Top Tier Wedding Experience

876 Sounds delivered everything we ever wanted and even what we didn’t know we wanted. They provided an awesome and engaging Emcee which kept the guests entertained and involved during our reception. The sparklers were well placed and light up expertly at the very right moments. Oh and don’t get me started on the music selection; ON POINT‼️‼️. They brought a great balance between Dancehall, Afrobeats and Congolese music!!! Our guests are still talking about it’s the best wedding they’ve ever been to 😁😁😁 we were LIT till they turned the lights off in the tent 😂😂

We are so HAPPY that we chose 876 Sounds for our wedding and reception at Moon Palace. Professional team, quality music

DJ Pablo and Randy know how to throw a party, music wise! Woow from the beginning there was a connection with the crowd, a diverse crowd from different parts in the world. With the music he connected the Jamaican culture with all the other cultures that were there. And this mix continued, ensuring everyone was included in this excellent party night! Negril Wedding w/ 876 Sounds!

We were lucky enough to have a wedding on the cliffs in Negril and 876 Sounds made it even that much more amazing with their awesome music, constant engagement with the audience and overall great vibe! 876 performed beyond our expectations and had kept our guests having fun and dancing throughout the night. Prior to my wedding date, the 876Sounds team set up an initial consultation via phone where the aim was to get a sense of mine and the grooms personality, what type of music we enjoyed and how we expected our wedding music to be, the atmosphere we wanted at each segment. You will not regret the experience that 876 Sounds will bring to your event/wedding. We hired them for our destination wedding on May 26, 2021 and it was the best decision we could have made. Randy and Pablo are hands down the best in the game- they were super easy to work with, they listened to our needs, and assured us that we would have a night to remember and they were right! To say they delivered would be an understatement. Our guests are still raving about how great the music was and how perfectly everything just flowed. Before the wedding we communicated to Randy and Pablo that we wanted this to be a reception to remember for our guests and they made that happen. The music selection catered to everyone, and Pablo’s ability to read the room and play music that kept the vibe going was on point. He listened to everything we wanted and allowed our guests to make music suggestions all while never skipping a beat! The MC kept the crowd engaged, everyone was dancing, laughing, and having a good time just as we had hoped for. We can honestly say that there was never a dull moment at our wedding reception thanks to this amazing crew. After everything, they produced a phenomenal video that captured all the vibes! The video, which is on their YouTube page, was a great compliment that allows us and our guests to relive the night over and over again. We even sent it to family and friends that did not make it to the wedding to show them how much fun they missed out on lol. Everything about 876 Sounds and what they bring to events is honestly outstanding. We would hire them again in a heartbeat! Ohh one more thing (apologies for the long review) - but we would be remiss if we did not mention the sparklers! Having sparklers was one of our favorite things about the night. When they went off it literally and figuratively brightened the night. This is definitely something you should add to your package if you’re looking for a nice pop of surprise and vibrancy. You could see the excitement and joy on our guests’ faces and ours when the lights went off, and thankfully we have pictures that captured it all! We highly recommend 876 Sounds. Where do I begin?876sounds was phenomenal and I had one of the best time of our lives since this journey.We started talking to Randy in January of 2020.Randy was very supportive and encourages me that everything was going to be okay because of the pandemic we had to postpone our wedding for 2021.Couples day before the wedding we spoke to Randy just to finalize on small detail and the told me they were going to make our wedding day worth the wait Little did I know that it would be the best day of my life having them as entertainment. They had us and our guest dancing from ceremony to the end of the night only problem we didn't have enough time to really party. Thank God I chose 876sounds. If we had to do it again they would be #1 on our list. 876sounds is the best.

When we started planning our 10 year vow renewal in the summer of 2019 we found about 876 sounds on Instagram and immediately felt like they were the best fit for our crowd that we had coming. Randi immediately got us set up and kept all communication lines open the entire time. She was also very helpful when we had to reschedule due to the virus, very accommodating and encouraging. When we spoke a few days before the ceremony we told her how half of the guest couldn’t make it but we still wanted to party as if they were here and they definitely delivered. They had the crowd on the floor all night. 876 sounds is the best hands down!!!

We met Randy for the first time at the Jamaica Bridal Expo after having engaged with her via email for some 6 months and that first meeting set the tone for the rest of our professional relationship as he and her husband were amazing at accommodating our every request and our song selections were a breeze to to confirm with her handy list of must plays.

I would recommend 876 Sounds on their professionalism and performance on the night of alone. They were great at keeping the guests dancing through the night until we had to leave the venue. They were a great part of an amazing day. 10/10!

Pure awesomeness!

Randy and Paul made my wedding magical! We got married on NYE and we wanted a wedding that was the best party our guests had ever attended. We got that and more. Paul's music interjections with the MC made every little moment come alive. My music selection requests during the ceremony were very specific and the 876 team went above and beyond. I've been planning my wedding my whole life and 876 made it happen! Exactly as I pictured. From the DJ and audio, to the indoor sparklers, to the dance floor and lights to the confetti exit, it was pure perfection. And it didn't break the bank. My hubby and I would both recommend you for any and every event. We've already passed your contacts to impressed guests and couples we know getting married in 2020. Thanks guys.

Shout out to Randy and Hugh of 876 Sounds ... the power couple! From Day 1, I got a good vibe from my very first interaction with Randy, and on wedding day, 876 exceeded my expectations! Though my husband and I have very different tastes in music, 876 was able to cater to both of us ... the music was 'off the chain', and we even had lighting effects thrown in. The whole experience was personal, and if we had to do it over again, we would select 876 with a doubt!

The best DJs in Jamaica

I love music and wanted our event to reflect our eclectic taste. 876 sounds were on POINT! I sent them a list of songs for cocktail hour and dinner and of course key moments during the service and they hit every one. I let them do their thing at the reception and my guests were so impressed. They even captured amazing moments from the dance floor on video.

Wedding DJ

876 Sounds was the BEST! We contacted 876 Sounds nine months prior to our wedding. Randy immediately responded to our email, and we had a signed contract within a week. Randy always responded to our emails immediately even with our time difference. The week before we left for Jamaica we had a conference call from Randy and Hugh so we could get to know each other before the wedding. Randy sent a detailed Google doc for us to fill in the blanks about what songs to play and when they needed to be played. They made it so easy. The day of the wedding, all I can say is WOW. They went above and beyond our expectations. They played all the music for the ceremony and the reception. The DJ stand had our names displayed for all our guests to see, and miraculously it fit with our wedding decor. Randy took pictures and videoed the whole event. By the time we left Jamaica Randy and Hugh had sent me all of the pictures and videos they took, these are some of my favorite pictures from our wedding. 876 Sounds is professional, and so fun.

The best weddings DJ’s on the market!

The 876 sounds team literally made our wedding a magical experience. Being music lovers we were very picky when it came to selecting DJ for our wedding. We came across 876 sounds when our wedding planne, Helen G Events recommended a list of DJ’s and provided links to their work for us to review. Immediately looking into 876 Sounds and their YouTube posts and online reviews made us see that they would bring across the vibe we envisioned for our guests.

However on the day 876 sounds suprassed our expectations. With their professionalism leading up to wedding to ensure that they got to know my wife and I as well as setimg the expectation of the day all the way through the wedding 876 sounds was amazing.

876 sounds were flawless in the execution
Of the day and they kept my guests, young and old, dancing to music all night long with their selections of songs to keep the vibe nice and the dance floor filled.
I honestly don’t think any other DJ team could have made the day as special.

We will definitely be recommending 876 sounds to all our family and friends !

First of all, the services that were provided through 876 sound, was an incredible experience and left my guest very very entertained and happy with the services provided for our destination wedding.

Please don't go through hotel vendor, it is much worth it and cheaper to go through this outside vendor, trust me!!!!!

I recommend this for all my brides or people look for great entertainment services. By the way, we got married at a resort in Montego Bay, Jamacia, so location is not an issue for them.

Such a great experience, that I will renew my vows in 5 years, and use them again, just to turn up again :-)

876 sounds is the best dj I have had. Randy is very quick and helpful when responding to the many questions I had.
The dj got people up on the dancefloor straight away. The music was the best and the dancefloor was packed all night long! A great selection of music that suited all my guests!
Also Anton the mc was amazing he had all my guests laughing and made a great atmosphere for everyone. We was very shocked when he started to sing... his voice is amazing!!
All in all 876 sounds is amazing and provided a fantastic party for me and my guests! I would highly recommend them. They are great value for money too!

Everything that 876 Sounds did for our wedding was fantastic! But the best by far was Randy and her relentless efforts to make our day perfect. The first thing I noticed about Randy is that while other vendors we had contacted in Jamaica took days and sometimes weeks to respond, Randy responded to my first email in 20 minutes. I knew right from there that she was going to be great. She handled lighting and all sound equipment, entertainment and DJ for ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. She contracted and organized flowers, cake, signs and a million other things I can’t remember right now. It was quite honestly the best day ever and we never could have done it without Randy and 876Sounds. Highly, highly, recommend.

Excellence at it's BEST!!!!!! 876 sounds provided us with not only the perfect song selections for our wedding but offered us good advice and suggestions on our journey to the big day. Since our very first encounter we had to say it was as though we knew them (Randy and Hugh Bowman) from before. They facilitated our meetings at any given hour of the day and this made us very comfortable working with them. They knew exactly what we wanted. What can I say?! I want the rest of my friends to get married in Jamaica so they can use 876! Professional, responsive, and wonderful. Randy was so friendly and she was great at answering my questions and arranging what I envisioned. I expected it to be a little nerve-racking to deal with a vendor in another country, but this was seamless! The band for cocktail hour (steel drum, keyboard and sax) was amazing and everyone raved on how great they sounded. I missed all of it due to pictures, but Randy had them stick around so that my husband and I could at least enjoy one song before they left! The MC was hilarious and the DJ played great tunes during dinner and then kept everyone on the dance floor for the entire reception. And he took requests which the guests loved. Randy went above and beyond by taking photos of the wedding and reception and making a GREAT video for us which we've watched so many times so far. She emailed us the photos and videos they day after the wedding, and I haven't even received teasers from my photographer yet! I cannot say enough about this team, but I will say that you'd be crazy not to consider them for your Jamaica wedding. I want to get re-married (to the same man, of course!) so we have an excuse to use them again!! Keep up the great work!

My husband and I hired 876 Sounds to DJ at our wedding on 22nd August 2017 at the Riu Montego Bay and we were not disappointed! Randy and Hugh offered a first class service and we could not be more pleased!!!! I had only had the pleasure of building an email relationship with Randy over a period of about a year before my wedding and she was on point from the point of conception. She addressed all my needs, was more than accommodating with every aspect and added a projection of love birds, our names, date and place of wedding which was highlighted on a wall on the rooftop terrace we held our wedding at and it was a beautiful touch to the wedding reception. On the day, I felt like I was meeting old friends and was overly eager to make their acquaintance and both Hugh and Randy had taken time to look stunning and fitted in with my wedding guests a treat! Hugh took requests from my family and friends and the best thing about this husband and wife team is that there is so much love between them, (which is oh so infectious!!!!) yet they still have time, attention and love to share with others. Working with a complete stranger can be daunting to say the least, working with someone that you have never met and have never spoke to in person yet still managing to make a connection with, is priceless!!!! 876 Sounds are wonderful through and through. My husband and I fully 100% recommend them as you will NOT be disappointed. Together they definitely helped to make the day a day to remember! Nothing I asked for was too much!

My husband and I were very pleased with 876 sounds. We would recommend them to everyone getting married. They were very helpful. We started receiving tips almost a year before our actual wedding. Hugh is very honest; if something didnt work quite the way his team wanted for a particular wedding he would come back and say we have to re evaluate this as we do not want to make the same mistake and I like that! They made our movie themed wedding lit with the lighting and sensational music they provided. If we had to do it over again they would still be our first preference!

The most amazing experience, I thank God I choose Randy and her Husband to be a part of my team. The level of service went beyond the stars, as an overseas bride things can be difficult but they made my experience truly a breeze I had nothing to worry about.

Communication was great over the phone and email it shows that they were with me 100% of the way through the passion that they have for what they do. They are no ordinary DJs, and when you meet them in person there is no difference you only love them more especially Randy a heart of gold and her smile and laugh that will melt your heart.

From the very 1st moment of engaging 876-Sounds for our entertainment, they have been accommodating and professional...They guided us through the entire entertainment and vision for our wedding and delivered beyond our expectations. Even the final review prior to our wedding day was seamless...We got great value for our money...The lighting and dance-floor was perfect...Considering how everyone was dancing because of their DJ...we should have considered a bigger one...(wink)..What stood out for us about their service was the level of professionalism. On the day of our wedding, with the heavy rains, we had to quickly switch to our plan B and my wife and I were a little concerned of how well everything would have played out, but luckily for us 876-Sounds was on point.....They were on time and setup was seamless and it was better than we ever imagined!!! After the wedding, everyone kept on asking about the emcee, Ryan Dixon...He was simply phenomenal....Despite having kids at our wedding, the entire wedding party (100 pax) was fully engaged and enjoyed every moment of the reception....Several weeks after the wedding, guests were still asking and talking about the entertainment service providers...The service from 876-Sounds is 2nd to none and is the best for awesome and affordable Jamaican entertainment package because you have everything in one stop. We have no reservations recommending them for future entertainment services (especially if you want your wedding to be unforgettable)...

I can't say anything bad about this team. We used them for lighting, DJ, Emcee, and Photobooth. Randy, Damien, and the DJ were nothing short of spectacular. The made our night so special. They were fun, professional, and very accommodating. I can't imagine better service. Thank you so much for making our day perfect.

The team came highly recommended by our MC...and it simply made sense as clearly they have a connection that would allow for a flow in the reception.
Not only did it Flow....it was fun, well timed and when the party started...there was just no stopping us!!!

Simply put Paul was on point from start to finish!! From the initial consultation right through to the end of the event you can expect professionalism, dedication, and the quality of work that comes from experience and a commitment to excellence. Paul was punctual and precise in his role and created a great experience for our guests. Initially we were concerned because we had a mixed audience that varied in age and culture and we weren't sure how that would play out on the dance floor but Paul drew from his experience and made the right musical choices to liven up our party and kept the dance floor hopping all night. If you are looking for professionalism, experience, and someone who is in tune with your vision Paul is your guy.

Randy was our wedding Coordinator but that title does not come close to describing her services. Our wedding was an absolute wreck before Randy stepped into the picture. We literally went through 4 vendors before we had the good fortune of getting in contact with Randy. When setting up a destination wedding you need someone who is responsive, communicative, and shows a genuine concern for your vision and we simply couldn't find that until we found Randy. Looking back we can't even imagine our big day without Randy as she was there at every turn to ensure things were running smoothly. Randy always seemed to be one step ahead of any potential mishaps and pulled off the entire event just as we envisioned. Saying Randy was a Godsend is an understatement she was an absolute angel to work with and we had many comments from our guests complimenting us on the organization and the overall execution of the event. Our only regret was not finding Randy sooner as we could have avoided a lot of headaches and stress by finding her from the beginning. Big up Randy and Paul, love you guys!!

876 Sounds was phenonmenal at our wedding. Ryan, Randy and Paul are sensational people to work with to set the mood, music, tone and effects for your special occasion. Of course Ryan Dixon is undisputedly the best MC in the entire island of Jamaica and when that is sandwiched with Randy and Paul's volcanic archive of music, smoke and light effects, you had better hold on tight because when they errupt its going to be a spectacular event. I hurriedly selected 5 stars across the board because 876 Sounds is THE BEST. Even when wedding wire failed twice, here I am expressing my appreciation and joy as they truly deserve it for their hard work. In addition, I thought my family would expand because of my husband by hey it got even bigger with new family members from the 876 Sounds team.
Hugh found the perfect songs to match our personalities even the guest keep reminiscing days later. Big up for the kind tips for the ceremony & reception entrance as it aided in making the photos shot a road. lol. You went beyond what we required.. Thonks yah! You want that music energy, look no further 876 Sounds is a dial away. Notice they already dial the area code for you (LOL)
My dearest Randy, I thought she would get annoyed with me but hey she has the personality perfect for the industry. Such a calm and graceful beauty. Quite THE PROFESSIONALS.
Ryan, the emcee was the key to glue a smile to your face.

Nicole and I share the view that 876 Sounds is definitely one of the best providers of the services they offer. Without hesitation we would recommend Hugh and his team for your big event.

I am a Wedding Photographer and I have worked with many DJ's over the past decade in the field. Because of this fact I would be considerably more discerning and very particular about the vendors we engaged for our big day. I was understandably a bit reluctant because I have never worked with 876 Sounds before. However, Hugh came highly recommended by a fellow colleague of mine and he introduced us some weeks before the wedding date. I had one telephone conversation with Hugh after that and it was done!!!

876 Sounds made our wedding that much more beautiful from the minute we set foot on the venue to the moment we left! They were very sensitive to our particular taste and style in musical selections and found an AWESOME mix that had us wondering if this man was reading our minds. AWESOME STUFF!!!

They did a great job! They incorporated our song requests and they also added their own flair to the mix. We also used their up-lighting which added a nice glow to the room. I would definitely recommend anyone to use their services.

Amazing experience!!! This is a company that you want to do business with. Beyond professional, and truly made our wedding a very special experience. Our emcee was fantastic, kept the evening flowing without any of the tacky punch lines that you often here at weddings, kept everyone laughing. its always a bit scary booking a service for an event you are holding in a different country but from Top to bottom the team at 876 Sounds was amazing!! 876 Will Keep Your Party Jumping and Your Guests Moving

Wow! 876 Sounds DELIVERED! Even a month after the wedding we are still having our guests talk about how much fun they had at the wedding because of the amazing environment 876 Sounds created. We hired 876 to do our wedding at Moon Palace in April of this year for both DJ and MC services as well as lighting and a tent. For the ceremony, DJ Pablo handled the tunes as our guests were getting situated and everyone was in LOVE with his playlist to the point where I got many requests to send it to my guests afterward. When it came to the ceremony The DJ and MC were so in tune, kept the party jumping, kept the crowd engaged and everyone had a ball dancing literally until the last minute of the evening. Working with Randy in the planning process was so easy and she made us feel very comfortable that we would get exactly what we wanted on the day of our wedding. Also, if you are having a wedding at Moon Palace Jamaica, definitely leverage 876 as they have standing relationships with the resort and work very professionally to make sure things go smoothly. I would highly reccommend anyone getting married in Jamaica to use 876 Sounds!

I loved working with the 876 team. They were quite flexible and helpful throughout our song selection process. They kept us and our guests entertained during the reception and ensured we enjoyed ourselves. The lighting provided helped to make the decor look even more beautiful.
