Amazing florals, amazing team

Our florals were absolutely perfect. The process was easy, the mood board and vision were fun to make and discuss. They stayed within our budget since the beginning price point we wanted. I had a last minute need to change spaces within our venue due to rain and this team was attentive, responsive, and honestly made quick miracles happen. I appreciate them so much and our floral pieces were beautiful.

Melissa and Savannah are Awesome

We absolutely loved 7 Blooms. Melissa and Savannah were super consultative and worked with us to create gorgeous florals that made our wedding so special. They were also very helpful in thinking through the overall color scheme and aesthetic of the wedding, even outside the florals. They were very communicative throughout the whole process, and we never felt like we had to push them to think about anything on the logistics side. On the day of, they were on site early and were so detail oriented - Savannah was running around constantly lighting candles before the ceremony started, since they kept getting blown out by the wind. We would highly recommend working with 7 Blooms!

Our first meeting to discuss our vision was over Zoom with Savannah. As soon as we ended the meeting, I knew we were booking 7Blooms. Working with our Savannah and Amaranth Florist was an absolute dream come true. Their talent, creativity, and dedication transformed our special day into a breathtaking floral wonderland that exceeded all of our expectations.

She took the time to understand our vision, our color palette, and our preferences and then turned those ideas into floral arrangements that were nothing short of spectacular. BEST florist on the Main Line!

You cannot convince me that there is a better florist in the Main Line area! I used Amaranth for my wedding and I was positively blown away with what she accomplished. It was difficult for me to picture everything coming together, but it was so far beyond amazing. I am from the Philly area but now live across the country and during a visit home Melissa took a ton of time to sit down with my planner and I to make sure my vision came to life. I had several ideas but needed guidance and she was phenomenal in helping me narrow down options. She also worked with me on budget and provided clear line items of what could be done. I’m sure other florists are great, but there is not a chance I will work with anyone else in the future for floral needs – 10/10 recommend!

Amaranth Achieves Art Through Flowers

Wow! That's all we can say about Melissa and her team at Amaranth florists. We used Amaranth at the suggestion of a friend and we're so glad we did. From the beginning, we felt as through Melissa and her team met our every wish from the flowers we wanted in the arrangements to working with the flower sources we requested. We had a few phone calls in advance to align on the vision for the flowers and Melissa provided a proposal with flowers so we'd have an idea of what the arrangements would look like (I know NOTHING about flowers, so this was especially helpful to me). We also had an in-person meeting about a month in advance to see some samples to ensure we were on the right path, which of course Amaranth was! The flowers arrived promptly on the the day of the wedding and held up very well throughout the day. Also, most of the centerpieces were taken at the end of the night, which usually is a challenge! That should give you an idea of how beautiful Amaranth's work is :)

Simply perfect

Go with Amaranth wedding florist, no need to think! Melissa is an amazing business owner, her team is wonderful, professional and always smiling. Melissa will take all the time you need to understand what you are looking for, has all different themes ready for you, she will customize the decoration according to what you need! Excellent Experience

I am a member of a women’s organizations that hosted a conference at the Ritz-Carlton Philadelphia this past July. We needed floral arrangements for a luncheon Friday afternoon and a gala dinner on Saturday evening. I have purchased arrangements and bouquets at Amaranth for different occasions before and knew their work was superb. They did not disappoint for a 300 person event. Melissa and her designers at Amaranth provided OUTSTANDING floral arrangements for both events. Their presentation and layout of the flowers providing depth with high and low arrangements absolutely took everyone’s breath away when the doors opened to reveal a magnificent rooms in two different locations. Beautiful, custom wedding flowers

We worked with Melissa Parker at Amaranth Florist for the flowers for our wedding. Melissa and her team created beautiful floral arrangements, bouquets, mantlepiece pieces, and an arch for our wedding ceremony and reception. Her team also added custom elements, such as greenery on a staircase, to accentuate our historic venue. They were very knowledgeable about floral types and colors and worked with us to bring in a variety of textures and colors to each floral element. Their work brought out the beauty of the venue and we received many compliments from guests. We loved how closely Melissa and her team kept to our vision in terms of colors and themes. They sent us an inspiration and mood board so we would have an idea of the flowers and overall plan before the wedding day. We really enjoyed meeting with Melissa in person at her beautiful store. She was very flexible with our plans and helpful in scaling down elements to match our budget and think through what would work best in the space. Our flowers truly tied together the elements of our wedding to create a consistent mood and theme. We are so glad to have worked with Amaranth Florist for our special day!

Wedding flowers of my dreams!

Melissa and her team at Amaranth were fantastic to work with. A lot of the communication for my wedding was done through my planner/designer, but every interaction that I did have with Melissa was pleasant and professional. On the day of, I was blown away by how amazing my bouquet, the ceremony flowers, and the centerpieces came out and I got so many compliments from my family and friends. Professional, good value, and executed exactly as we envisioned

My wife and I got married at Parque Ridley Creek in June 2022, a large beautiful venue, and were initially going to DYI the flowers to save money.. but we got some advice later on to not wing /DYI the important stuff for so we didn’t have to stress the day of and to spare us a the extra time to focus on other things that would surely take our attention... man was that good advice.
By the time we decided to hire a professional, we were very late in the game in searching for a florist. Melissa/Amaranth was one of several florists we spoke to who would “take the case”. I was immediately impressed by her professionalism, her experienced and creativity, and the fact that she was the only one that gave us a reasonable and fair price for what we wanted. We weren’t sure what to expect given that her price was so good so we were a bit nervous at first. As the wedding got closer and after a consultation or two, we got more confident in our choice!
Long story short, come the day of, we were absolutely blown away by her and her team. They far exceeded our expectations and they even brought extra flowers and vinery to ensure the place felt settled into, rather than just the flowers we paid for. Everything was extremely elegant, and just the right touch. It was a hot day so they even accounted for that in timing of when they put flowers out so they wouldn’t wilt too early-things only a professional would do. They delivered way more value than we paid for and it was the best wedding investment I think we made and we were very please by the team.

Beautiful Wedding Flowers

Amarinth designed the flowers for our wedding recently. They turned out so beautifully! Melissa was very responsive to our messages. We shared with her our vision for the flowers at the weddings and she came up with some ideas to make sure that our color scheme came through with the flowers and that the arrangements worked well with our venues and bridal party outfits. They were very accommodating when we needed to postpone our wedding. The flowers were delivered promptly on time and in excellent condition on the morning of the wedding and the staff were helpful and kind.

Highly Recommend - Accommodating and Creative!

Melissa from Amaranth was an absolute angel and really stood out from the other florists in the Villanova area because of how accommodating and reasonably priced she was. We wanted to do something unique and have sustainable centerpieces that were potted plants rather than cut flowers and we bought our own pots to help with the cost. She was the only florist willing to take on this additional complication and even spent time with me helping me select pots that would look good together. She made the centerpieces absolutely beautiful with clusters of multiple pots and plants of different heights and colors. Several of the guests still have the pots and plants in their home! Also, we had a hindu ceremony and needed a very decorative chuppah style structure. Her team did an absolutely beautiful job with a natural wood structure, beautiful greens and flowers, even though they had less time to set it up then planned due to issues with other vendors. Melissa is extremely personable and hardworking and is trying to make the day special for us without charging an arm and a leg. Our wedding would not have been the same without her at all and so glad she was part of our wedding. Thank you Melissa!!!

Beautiful flowers from this neighborhood florist!

Melissa and her staff at Amaranth Florist were a joy to work with, and I highly recommend them. We began working with them in 2019 for my daughter's 2020 wedding. Then the pandemic hit and we had to reschedule for 2021. Amaranth was with us every step of the way, adjusting not just date but venue changes. As we got closer to the actual wedding date, our numbers kept dropping as folks became concerned about traveling due to Covid. Melissa was so responsive and flexible in making the needed changes. What I really appreciated about them was their willingness to work within our budget, allowing us trim some costs by providing our own candles and candle holders.

As for the flowers, they were truly lovely. In particular, they worked hard to create a bridal bouquet that minimized overly scented blooms, to accommodate my daughter's allergies. All the bridesmaid bouquets and grooms people's boutonnieres were gorgeous. The pallet was white and green and they found varied textures and hues to make the bouquets really pop. The decorated chuppah and simple greenery on the tables was exactly what my daughter and her husband wanted.

Amaranth delivered beautiful flowers at a reasonable cost and did so with top notch service. I cannot recommend Melissa and her team more highly!

Amaranth did an amazing job for our August wedding! Melissa really listened to what we were looking for and was able to turn our vision into reality. The most perfect bouquet!

Amaranth made the most beautiful, unique bouquet for my micro wedding. I sent in an inspiration photo and they not only nailed it, but the owner thoughtfully added in additional stems to enhance the bouquet's beauty. I received so many compliments from friends and family, who were forced to witness our ceremony through photos due to COVID. Amaranth's bouquet completed my wedding look perfectly and brightened our wedding photos. Seeing the finished bouquet was one of the happiest moments of my day, which meant everything after having to deal with months of terrible news surrounding the postponement our large wedding. Highly, highly recommend!

Rustic Wonderland

Amazing florist!

We hired Amaranth for our daughter’s wedding 10/31/20. We had interviewed 3 other florists but felt an immediate connection with Melissa, the owner, and Joy, her assistant. They truly understood the bride’s vision for wedding day. Our church flowers looked absolutely amazing - captured the magical look the bride hoped for. We were to have the reception at Pen Ryn Mansion and 6 weeks prior switched to a tented venue at Rivers Edge. Amaranth totally awed us with their floral creativity in helping to transform the tent. Many of our guests commented on the flowers and the venue looked absolutely amazing with the dramatic effects! Melissa is very professional, listens and is super creative. Fantastic florist for the Philly area!

A friend of mine used Amaranth several years ago. Neither of us knew management had changed, but it didn’t affect our decision to move forward. Our initial appointment was the last day before everything shut down from the pandemic. As the big day got closer, Melissa was primed and ready for last-minute decisions. Everything was beyond beautiful and I can’t wait to use this florist in the future for whatever floral needs we have.

Wedding flowers

Prior to our daughters wedding we had been costumers of Amaranth. During our wedding they changed owners from the wonderful Loretta to Melissa. After a momentary hiccup during the transition period we were blown away. My daughter shared with them her ideas .... gathered on her Pintrist board and the team at Amaranth made it come to life. The bouquets were simple and elegant and so were the table centerpieces . We couldn’t be happier!!!

The best and most professional wedding florists I have ever met

Amaranth florists, especially Melissa and Beth, are such an amazing individuals and very talented, professional wedding specialists. Because we were having a destination wedding from out of state, it was difficult for us to meet with them in person to discuss wedding details. Despite of very limited meetings we went through with Amaranth florists, they instantly understood what our vision for the wedding was, and actually brought the most dreamy and gorgeous flowers we have ever hoped for on our wedding day. All of flowers were fresh, beautiful, and much more than what we expected and what we paid for.

Wedding in general could involve mixed feelings and stress even from planning. So, letting professional florists what would be your dream flowers, even saying "I want simple or elegant wedding", and have them take care of everything for you helped a lot for us. On the wedding day, we were very very happy with everything and very surprised to see how beautiful centerpieces, arch, bouquet, and welcome table flowers were.

Bottom line was we were very lucky to have them as our wedding florists.

NYE Perfection!

There's something to be said about a florist when you give the vague direction of "greenery with white flowers" and they produce the most beautiful bouquets, center pieces, arch covering, and candle arrangements that you've ever seen. Affordable, friendly consultants, and no-hassle set up for our wedding at Merion Tribute House on NYE make Amaranth five-star in my opinion.

The flowers were identical to the arrangement I gave you! When I saw them for the first time on the tables it took my breath away! Thank you for making our daughter's wedding so magical! Then, when I got a look at the bouquets, I was blown away by how incredibly beautiful they were! They complemented the girls dresses so perfectly! I truly was speechless when my daughter put on her dress and was handed the bridal bouquet! Wow! My family will forever be indebted to you for making the wedding a day of utter beauty! Loretta was awesome to work with, beginning to end. I wanted soft creams and pinks with anemones to match the navy in my bridesmaids dresses. She created a mock up based on a limited description I gave and it was more beautiful than I could imagine. People kept commenting on how gorgeous the flowers were, and she came in wellllllll under other florists price quotes. I cannot recommend her enough for her talent and ease of service.

Over the moon ecstatic with the level of service and professionalism with Loretta's team. We met several times leading up to our wedding on 2/10/18 and she was always excited to meet us and listen to our vision. We were looking for a very classic Chuppa, gold posts with some baby's breath, and for large white bouquets on the tables. The theme was very simple but elegant, white! Loretta brought our vision to life and was a doll to work with. Couldn't recommend her or her team more!

We absolutely loved what Loretta and her team produced for us for our Wedding Day! We had over a dozen wreaths for our centerpieces, corsages and boutonnieres, as well a bridal crown and matching bridal bouquet. Every petal was perfect, and even our guests were "pinning" pictures of the floral work during the reception! We initially selected this vendor based on a combination of recommendations from others and estimated pricing / expected value. During the planning process, We were very particular about what we wanted, including having them prepare several samples of the different table arrangements. We also provided photos of arrangemeets we liked to articulate our wants. This required several iterations of our purchase order. Every aspect of the flowers provided the day of far exceeded our expectations, including the design of the chuppah, bouquets, table arrangements etc. Loretta was really great to work with and because of her flexibility and patience we would highly recommend her to others.

When selecting a florist for my second wedding I only visited one vendor - Amaranth.
Loretta did such a beautiful job the first time almost 20 years ago I didn't hesitate to book her again. This time around I was a bride with very specific vision for my wedding day- Loretta and her team exceeded our expectations in every dimension! She patiently worked with me on ceremony and reception flower choices, vases, candles, presentation, set up and more (all within budget!) Our bouquets, boutonnieres, and flower arrangements were absolutely stunning and brought the venue to life and rendered guests practically speechless. I don't plan on getting married a third time but I will be returning to Amaranth for my future floral needs.

We chose Amaranth Florist from an online recommendation and we are so glad that we did! I met with Loretta to talk about what I wanted, and she sent me a quote that was very reasonably priced and included everything that we asked for. She was very responsive via email and set up appointments for me to go over things and view samples.

The day of the wedding, we were so pleased with how everything turned out - the bouquets were GORGEOUS, the flowers for the men and our mothers/grandmothers were perfect, the set up for the ceremony was just how I imagined it, and the centerpieces for the tables were incredible (we asked for super tall branches with lights and she delivered).

I would highly recommend using Loretta and Amaranth Florist for your wedding!

Loretta is a WONDERFUL, incredibly talented florist. I came to her several months before our big day with a bunch of unique ideas for our winter wedding, including DIY vases and a whole vision for centerpieces. I came back in a second time, and she actually created a sample table centerpiece for me to see! She consistently communicated with me, my mom, and even my maid of honor from the first consultation up until the morning of the wedding. She was on board for anything I wanted to do, and she kept true to our vision in every way. She incorporated pieces of my dress, suggested flowers and greens that would help the price, and took last minute requests in stride. Our personal flowers were gorgeous - matching in theme but unique in their own way - and they arrived on time to the church. Our centerpieces at the venue was set-up meticulously; we received countless compliments. And the price? PERFECT. Other vendors wanted to charge so much more, and Loretta knew how to keep the plan within my budget. I am so grateful to have worked with her, and I will be going to Amaranth for any of my flower needs again!

Loretta was a pleasure to work with! She got back to me right away about things and our in person meeting was so simple. I absolutely loved the flowers her and her team made for our wedding. Loretta at Amaranth Florist is wonderful. She has an excellent creative eye. The flowers at my wedding were beautiful and exactly what I wanted, based on two in-person consultations and emails I sent her leading up to the wedding. Her prices are very reasonable for her services and gorgeous arrangements. She made our venue look like we'd spent so much more than we actually did. She also went the extra mile and got the special vases we wanted for our centerpieces. Loretta can be a little more relaxed at times than super type A people like me are used to, but just trust her. She's a total pro. Everything turned out beyond my expectations!

Loretta did an amazing job with the flowers for our wedding. We didn't need centerpieces, just bouquets, corsages and boutonnières, but she still made me feel like it was a big and important job. Loretta provided the centerpieces and chuppah for my wedding in December of 2014. Our centerpieces and chuppah turned out beautifully, and I could not have been happier with everything. We received so many compliments throughout the evening, and I'm thrilled with how the displays all came together and exceeded all of my expectations for the big day! She was able to execute my vision perfectly, and she was so flexible and open to my ideas while also offering suggestions of her own to help guide my decisions. Overall, Loretta was so easy to work with and she was incredibly flexible with me. With such a big wedding like ours, keeping our budget in check was extremely important and I am so grateful that Loretta was willing to guide me through the floral selections to stay within my budget while still creating such beautiful work. She never once tried to oversell me on anything, and I felt that she was much more open and honest than any of the other florists that I reached out to early in my planning process. She was understanding of my priorities, and respectful of the things that I did not want or need, and she was very helpful throughout the entire process. The flowers captured the wedding theme p[erfectly. We were on a rooftop and a bit limited in the floral setup, but the tables were perfectly decorated and the bouquets and flowers for the wedding party were done perfectly and delivered on time.

I used Amaranth for my wedding flowers. Loretta was very easy to communicate with and she was very flexible in keeping with my budget and my preferences in the design. I was able to speak to her about the price for each item and I was able to pick the exact flowers I wanted. She told me what flowers were in season, which ones would be pretty and affordable during that time, etc. They don't try to up-sell you. I wish she could have offered more designs but I could have just come off as picky and she could have thought I knew what I was doing. They were on time and very professional.

Loretta Barnes of Amaranth Flowers was the absolute best. At our initial meeting, she listened to what I wanted in general terms and then was able to make specific floral recommendations. She offered to do a sample centerpiece, which was nice because we were going to need 15 of them. She didn't try to sell up beyond my budget. She artistically created beautiful bouqets and centerpieces. Also she provided and beautifully decorated a chuppah frame, which came out just as she described it. The guests that took home the centerpieces were thrilled. The bridal bouqet was magnificent, and coordinated perfectly with the style of the wedding dress.

Loretta is so wonderful to work with! I definitely felt like I was working with a "partner" who wanted to hear your ideas but also bring in her thoughts and expertise. She knew I had a limited budget for flowers and decor and did everything she could to work with it. I wanted elegant but simpler. She also helped me brainstorm with different ideas about how to change the decor of the reception area.because it was not an area that usually has a wedding reception. It was clear she was invested in doing her best in making the experience of planning as painless as possible and for making the wedding beautiful. Amaranth Florist is a great vendor and very reasonably priced! I really love Loretta Barnes (the owner). She was very patient and warm spirited, and she really understood the vision that I had for my wedding. The colors and the flower arrangement of the bouquets and centerpieces were beautiful and perfect!!! I loved my bridal bouquet so much I did not want to put it down. We loved working with Loretta and the rest of the staff to plan the floral arrangements for our wedding last fall. I had little experience with flowers and was overwhelmed with the variety of options, but Loretta patiently sat with my mom and me to help create centerpieces and bouquets that fit my vision (and my budget!). We fluctuated on several different designs for the chuppah, and I was nervous about how it would look, but I need not have worried because it turned out quite elegant and tasteful. Loretta did not blink an eye when I asked to include a blue lace handkerchief that belonged to my grandmother in the bouquet, and I appreciated her willingness to accommodate the sentiment. The flowers turned out beautifully and everyone raved about the bouquets! I was extremely pleased with the flowers and would highly recommend the Amaranth team for your next function.

Loretta Barnes was a pleasure to work with throughout the planning of my daughter’s wedding. After meeting with several other florists we recognized that Loretta was the only one that understood that while flowers were important for the wedding party and the ceremony they would play only a minor role in the reception decorations for my daughter’s themed wedding. Loretta is very talented and the flowers were just beautiful. Due to a last minute issue with a particular flower’s unavailability we could have had a huge disappointment with the wedding party centerpieces but I was able to suggest a solution which Loretta executed perfectly. Her prices are so much more reasonable than others and she is so flexible in making changes that arranging for the flowers was effortless. We were very pleased with Amaranth’s services.

There was really no question that I would use Amaranth for my wedding. They had provided flowers for a number of events that my family and I have attended over the years and they have a well-deserved excellent reputation. I met with Loretta during the planning process and showed her some photos I'd found online of things I liked. When she showed me a mock of the centerpiece she'd created based on those photos, I didn't want to change a thing- it was absolutely perfect. They also provided the beautiful bouquets for myself and my bridesmaids as well as ceremony decor, flowers for the cake, and flowers for the groom, groomsmen, parents, and grandparents. Loretta was wonderful to work with- flexible, responsive, reliable, and helpful. She is also very creative and skilled when it comes to creating the perfect look for your wedding. Loretta Barnes and Amaranth Florist were absolutely fantastic to work with. My initial concern with finding a florist for our wedding was staying within my limited floral budget. Other florists told me they could work with me, then sent proposals well beyond what we had discussed. Loretta listened to my wish list and my budget and sent a proposal that was actually under budget. She was extremely responsive to any questions I had along the way and even met me at our reception venue to do a mock-up of the centerpiece so I could see what it would look like in the ballroom. She was also very flexible with a few late changes on my end. Most importantly - everything she did was beautiful - from the bouquets, to the hanging mason jars of flowers lining the aisle, to the centerpieces, and the spectacular arrangement on the escort card table! I was anxious about seeing everything on the wedding day because I had such a clear vision in my head for the way I wanted everything to look. When I got to the venue and saw what she did, I was instantly relieved and blown away. Everything I saw was even better than I had imagined. Loretta at Amaranth florist was amazing to work with. She was one of the only florists willing to work with my smaller budget and was enthusiastic about all of my "rustic chic" ideas. Her staff is very friendly and helpful. Guests are still raving about how beautiful my flowers were and I spent much less than anyone would have expected. If you are a thrifty, DIY bride who wants gorgeous flowers on her wedding day, I highly reccommend that you use Amaranth. Huge thank you to them for helping me create a beautiful wedding!

Loretta is an absolute pleasure to work with. She created bouquets and cenerpieces that exceeded my expectations based on what I described to her. The flowers were fresh, crisp, and beautiful. Loretta was patient and kind regarding my limited flower knowledge and developed several mock centerpieces at no additional cost until I was completely satisfied. Furthermore, I felt her prices were quite reasonable. If I we're to do it all again, I'd choose Amaranth with no hesitation. Thank you Loretta!

Excellent service, attention to detail and the most beautiful flowers!!! Even the other vendors (venue host), caterer, DJ, photographer as well as guests could not stop commenting on how amazing the floral arrangements were. There were numerous follow-up calls and prompt e-mails to check in and confirm all details as we planned up to our special day. We were impressed with the attention to detail and all of our requests were completely honored within budget. This florist is very personalble, flexible and willing to work with any budget. We will most certaily seek Amaranth for any of our future floral needs. We couldn't be more pleased!!!!

Loretta at Amaranth flowers was soo wonderful to work with! We never had a doubt that everything would be perfect from the second we met with her, and our expectations were exceeded- the flowers were soo beautiful! And the price was incredibly reasonable!!

Amaranth did a wonderful job!! Our chuppa was to die for and the bouquets and boutonnieres were exactly what we wanted!! So easy to work with and just a pleasure!! Very flexible when we decided to move the ceremony indoors!! Would highly recommend!!

Loretta and her team were amazing. I went in with pictures, photos and ideas for our big day and he surely delivered. We had a beautiful curly willow arch made with pink roses that was just beautiful. On the tables we had collected over 200 mason jars where we had roses, hydrangea, snap dragons, delphinium, sweet pea, freesia, and a number of other pale pink and white flowers placed in them....the result was classic and breathtaking. We would absolutely use Loretta and her team again and have recommended her to three other brides. We found that her dollar for dollar value to be the best in the area, and was especially conscious of our budget without taking short cuts on the flowers.

Loretta at Amaranth is wonderful. She worked on our wedding on Nov. 12th at the Radnor Hunt. She is extremely good at her job and she does not overcharge. She put together amazing bouqets, centerpieces, and other venue floral arrangements. I had to change the number of tables we needed a few times and had some other last minute additions and it was never a problem. If you are looking for a high-quality, affordable florist, Amaranth is the way to go!

I used Amaranth for the flowers for my wedding. They did an excellent job. My bouquet was absolutely beautiful and was just how I imagined it. My bridesmaids wore chocolate truffle dresses so I had them carry orange flowers and I think it look amazing in pictures. Loretta was able to do anything I asked her, for example she made wrist corsages for our godmothers. Our centerpieces at our reception were so pretty. They really made the room look even more beautiful. They did all this and the cost was great too! I would highly recommend them for any occasion!

I met with other florists, but no one understood my vision like Loretta. I explained to her the over all theme and feel of my wedding and she was able to capture it in the flowers. I have to mention that she was significantly cheaper than other florists. I felt that she valued my business and she was excited to have me as a client. I wish I could upload my pictures so that you could see the quality of her work. My flowers were beautiful and exactly what I had envisioned. I would definitely recommend her work, it was simply amazing.

We have only great things to say about Loretta and Amaranth Florist. We did not want to spend tons of money on flowers but of course still wanted them to look nice. Loretta worked within our budget and created some really beautiful arrangements and bouquets for us! We received so many compliments on the flowers - the vibrant color and the elegant look. She was very flexible as there were additions I think up until the day before the wedding. Frankly we used Amaranth Florist prior to our wedding for flowers and were always so pleased so we knew she would do a great job. We were right! We highly recommend them!

Loretta at Amaranth was absolutely amazing! She was able to work with the styles and flower types that I liked to create beautiful arrangements that fit within my budget. It was easy to ask her any questions I had, and if there was anything I needed to change, she was willing to help me without any problems. Literally, when the limo pulled up the the ceremony site, my mouth dropped open and I couldn't stop saying "wow" because she made it look more beautiful than I ever could have imagined. She was easy to work with, friendly, reliable, flexible, straight forward, creative, and she made my life as a bride so much easier. I would definitely recommend the services of Amaranth Florist for brides, or any occasion, because you will have no headache and you will surely be pleased with the outcome.

The flowers were so incredibly beautiful. I don't think I even realized it at the time, but looking over my pictures, the flowers really stand out. I was also impressed because I was planning my Philadelphia wedding long distance, and know nothing about flowers so I just sent them pictures of bouquets I liked and gave them free reign to come up with something they thought I'd like. They did an amazing job.

Flowers were BEAUTIFUL and affordable! Flowers can be so expensive, sometimes you wonder if it's worth it to have them on your wedding day but with this florist you get high quality at an affordable price. She was easy to work with, patient and really listened to want i wanted. I would recomend this florist for any occasion.

I will admit that this is an area where I was completely overwhelmed. There are so many options and so many different ways to go with every flower, whether it be on a table, in a bouquet or on a chuppah. Also, we were really reluctant to spend a ton of money on flowers because their lifespan is so short on the one hand, but on the other hand, we didn't want to skimp because they would still be in photographs. Loretta Barnes at Amaranth Florist provided the vision that I so desperately needed and worked to create the most beautiful centerpieces, a lovely bridal bouquet, and an elegant and beautiful chuppah. She worked with us to design and enhance the table decorations with candles, and included candles in the wedding venue which beautifully illuminated the space. The wedding venue was transformed by the flower arrangements and the artistic array of candles. Although Amaranth was reasonably priced, the flowers were bountiful, beautifully arranged and did not give the slightest hint that cost had been one of our considerations. Ms. Barnes was attentive to our suggestions, patient, and professional. She delivered a beautiful and elegant event which surpassed our every expectation, and helped us stay within our budget (which is no small feat!).

Overall I was pleased with the flowers. I loved the centerpieces and the alter arrangements for the church. The only compliant I have is that the bouquets for my maids of honor were not the right color. I wanted yellow bouquets for the maids of honor and the bouquets they had were white. To me they did not really stand out when compared to the bridesmaid’s bouquets. But the price was great and Loretta was really sweet and easy to work with. I would definitely recommend Amaranth to another bride.

I received excellent service from Amaranth Florist and Loretta. I was planning my wedding from out of town and found her to be extremely responsive and helpful in the planning process. She listened well to what I wanted, and was priced very reasonably. I am not really into 'wedding flowers' so I just wanted something very simple without being over the top, and Loretta was able to achieve that for me. In addition, I added a few small items at the last minute for my flower girl and ring bearers, and she promptly emailed me back with a new quote and invoice- something I really appreciated when trying to tie everything together in the last few days before my wedding! Please note- Loretta only did my personal flowers, I ended up doing my own centerpieces- but I am sure that any centerpiece she created would be lovely as well! Very satisfied with my choice in Amaranth Florist.

I heard about Amaranth from a good friend who had worked with the shop at her wedding, and immediately scheduled a meeting when I began planning my own. Beyond a vague idea of floral colors, I admittedly had very little concept of what I was looking for to complement my day, decor, and dresses, and very little knowledge of flowers in general! Every interaction with Amaranth's owner, Loretta Barnes, was extremely pleasant. She is extremely patient and flexible, with a very comforting demeanor. She asked just the right questions to identify what I was looking for in bouquets, ceremony decor, and reception table arrangements. The process of selecting and securing Amaranth's services was one of the easiest I went through during the planning of my wedding, and the results were some of the most impeccable. I attribute this to Loretta's professionalism and skill, and can't imagine a time in the future I don't enjoy looking at pictures of her handiwork for my special day.

Going into my initial wedding consultation, I had an idea of what I wanted in my head, but only some pictures to show for it. Loretta was really able to take my colors and ideas and bring them to life. Everything about the flowers was fantastic-- the color, the varying textures (especially the protea!) etc. I still get comments from my family about them!

Amaranth was highly recommended by several friends before choosing them to do the flowers for my July wedding, and I quickly saw why! Loretta did an amazing job with everything, and no detail was overlooked. She was extremely flexible and helped me realize my "vision," as I did not have one when I first met with her. We met several times, she answered all of my questions thoroughly and honestly, and she even did several "mock" centerpieces until we got it right. Better yet, she kept the cost below my budget while still exceeding my expectations. We had so many compliments on the various arrangements throughout the venue. If you are searching for a professional, unique, affordable, creative florist, Amaranth is the way to go. I will be using Amaranth for years to come.

I can not begin to express my gratitude for Melissa and Amaranth Florist. Our wedding flowers were outrageously beautiful! Amazing - flowers were incredible!

Amaranth did an AMAZING job. Joy and Melissa were so great to work with. They listened to all of our requests and followed through on them. The flowers were completely stunning (from the wedding canopy, the arrangements on the tables with the lanterns, to the boquets, nosegays and corsages) and I’m so so happy with how they turned out!!! Melissa and the whole Amaranth team were absolutely amazing to work with! They perfectly executed my vision and turned it into anything better than I could have ever imagined. From the greenery of the centerpieces to my stunning bouquet, everything was perfection. The team was so seamless and easy to work with throughout the planning process. The girls that delivered the flowers the day of quietly worked behind the scenes to make all of my wedding flower dreams come true! Gorgeous Flowers

Amaranth did an amazing job with the flowers for my wedding. It included florals for the ceremony, garlands, centerpieces and lounge area. The flowers were stunning, just amazing and beautiful. Melissa also did an excellent job being on site when needed to get a jist of my vision. Joy was wonderful and helped me with finding vendors last minute which was a real blessing. Highly recommend!

Excellent Value and Beautiful Results

Amaranth did a great job with my flowers at my March wedding. I originally did not think I wanted many flowers as my wedding was at the Horticulture Center with lots of built in greenery. Melissa and the team worked with me as my vision evolved. The centerpieces were full and gorgeous! I would highly recommend Amaranth to anyone planning their wedding!
