Originally we didn't want a videographer. We thought it'd be too expensive and wouldn't fit in with our budget. Well last minute (I think it was January and our wedding was in April) I decided a videographer was a must. So began the searching. A lot of videographers are really expensive ($5000-$10000 depending on the package you select) and do not give you all the raw footage in the less expensive packages or you only have them for a few hours. After much research, I found Matt. Not only is he funny and a pleasure to work with, our wedding highlight video speaks for itself. Check it out on YouTube. We selected his mid range package, he was at the wedding the entire day (almost 12 hours, excluding travel), and we received all of the raw footage as well. Matt was truly able to capture all the fun in our day and we had a great time working with him. He is extremely laid back and responsive and bonds with the couples he works with. Even my husband, who really did not think we needed a videographer, was excited to see the video after the wedding! Matt also meets up with you in person to hand deliver your raw footage, ceremony video, highlight video, etc to make sure everything works and plays properly. I am so happy I not only got a videographer, but that we chose Matt for the job! Best wedding planning decision ever. You won't be disappointed.5Cents Media's reply:

Matt and PJ did an absolutely amazing job capturing our wedding day. They were professional, kind, and so easy to work with, and they truly understood what was important to us. They captured a beautiful highlight video, and included so many special touches that you won't find with other videographers!! Included in our package was a message video with heartfelt words from our bridal party and the important people in our lives, raw footage, and drone footage as well. One thing that meant so much to us when looking for videographers was having our entire ceremony on video, which is incredibly special and something we will treasure forever. They were thoughtful in the way they documented every moment, allowing us to relive our day in such a genuine way. We highly recommend 5 Cents Media to anyone looking for a wedding videography team that truly cares about preserving every detail! -

We had an incredible experience working with Matt Nichol of 5Cents Media for our wedding. From start to finish, Matt was the definition of professionalism. He was punctual, well-prepared, and seamlessly blended into the day while still capturing every important moment.
What truly stood out was his attention to detail and storytelling. The way he captured the order and flow of the ceremony was exceptional - everything felt intentional, natural, and beautifully paced. Watching the video felt like reliving the day exactly as it happened, with all the emotion and significance preserved.

We found Matt very last minute (about a week before our wedding) after our original videographer fell through. While I was scrambling to find a replacement, Matt was one of the first to respond back and was incredibly helpful. It was really easy to communicate with him and get everything quickly set up. Then, on the wedding day, Matt arrived on time and with great energy! He was so much fun to work with throughout the day, and was great about getting important and personal shots. We received our social media about 3 days after the wedding. The 60 sec trailer captured the special moments from the wedding day and was exactly what we wanted to share with family and friends. Then, a month after the wedding we received our highlight video. Matt was accommodating with our edits/feedback. He captured the emotions of the day, got a lot of candid footage, and special messages from family and friends. We received our video package in the mail, and it was presented so nicely. Matt shows up early and stays as late as you need so he doesn’t miss a thing- easy to work with and great at what he does! We enjoyed working with him. And we can’t wait to see the video! He really took the wedding market out of it- shopping for wedding vendors felt like buying a used car sometimes but not with Matt. He wasn’t trying to nickel and dime us- he cares about us getting the best wedding video we can and you can really tell he loves what he does. Never rushed us. Never pushed us -

Matt is an amazing videographer and we are so happy that he captured our wedding day for us! He arrived early and stayed until the very end of the night. He was so friendly, extremely helpful, and had fun with us throughout the whole day. It seemed like he was in so many places at once because he was able to capture all of the best moments of the day. Matthew was amazing! Very responsive and answered all questions asked. From the signing of our contract to the conclusion of our wedding day he went above and beyond. Matt is such a rarity in the wedding videographer space. You won’t find the packages he offers with the quality of the videos he provides anywhere else. If you want a wedding videographer who captures a 30 second social media highlight that’s incredibly formulaic, maybe Matt isn’t for you. But if you want someone that is intentional, that will personalize your experience, and give you an incredible amount of product for an unheard of value, talk to Matt. You won’t regret it.
We got the “Being social” package and received a 10-minute fully edited highlight film that was touching and funny and gorgeous and really showed the whole day from start to finish. Our favorite product from him though was an edited “personal messages” video. This was something that we could not find anywhere else and something that was most important to us. He talked to over 30 family members and created a 25-minute film for us that we’ll be able to look back on and show our kids and grandkids: these were your grandparents, and great aunts, etc. It really is one of a kind and something he’s really passionate about providing for couples.
If that’s not enough - he also provided a fully edited ceremony video, a fully edited speeches and first dance video, plus all of the raw footage!! The raw footage included dance clips and small moments that didn’t make it into the final highlight film but truly captured so much joy and emotion throughout the day. We loved watching them! Matt will answer all of your questions. He will work with you to create something unique and beautiful. Don’t pass that up!
