Best DJ in NH!

From day 1, Carlos (and his easy to use website) made planning the music at our wedding (in my mind the most important part) everything we could have hoped for!

He was easy to communicate with, explained his awesome website that allowed us to pick music down to the littlest detail. We met a few weeks before, he spoke to us for over an hour about every single thing from A to Z of our wedding and the music.

Then comes the big day and it's perfect, even the uplighting and monogram of our names blew me away. My biggest concern going into the wedding was a pandemic wedding, masks on, no one would want to dance - well Carlos sure shut me up! People danced from the second we started until the second we ended the night.

Carlos is the best DJ in NH, hire him, you won't regret it!

Had everyone dancing all night

Carlos was incredible! He handled the music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception at Church Landing. He worked with us to include all of our favorite (and sometimes obscure) songs. He brought so much joy and fun to the stress of planning of a wedding during COVID. During the reception, he mixed up oldies with electronic so all of our guests danced all night long! Also - the uplighting Carlos provided was fantastic! Our event was moved outdoors under a tent and the lighting was unreal.

Amazing! Fun, easy, and professional!

We worked with Carlos for our December wedding at Church Landing. He came highly recommended by our wedding venue and I could not be happier we chose to work with him! My fiance worked with Carlos to plan the music for our cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing, perfectly transitioning from one to the next. He had everyone up and dancing the whole night. If you are getting married in NH, give Carlos and Jamie a call! You won't regret it!

Great to work with!

Carlos was great from start to finish. He is very organized. Very easy to talk to and get along with. He wanted to meet with us to ensure we had what we wanted at our wedding. If there was a song request he didnt have he was sure to get it for us.

The name says it all, 5 STAR! Your DJ is what really makes your wedding, not your flowers and, most certainly, not your cake. Carlos is absolutely amazing and I will recommend him to everyone I know! His humor, professionalism, and attention to detail are pristine. When we were looking for a DJ, what really stood out to us was the fact that many people said, "Carlos keeps the dance floor packed," and he did just that. He provided us with a personalized experience that our wedding guests are still talking about. Thank you Carlos for making our day such a memorable experience!

Carlos and Jamie are such a great team to work with! From his first email after I requested information, they were incredibly professional and always seemed to know what we needed and wanted. Besides having a great price they also provided the easiest set up to request our favorite songs or have a “do not play list”. Carlos had an amazing selection of music to choose from and did a great job of keeping our guests on the dance floor the whole night! Carlos and Jamie did a great job of guaging what our guests wanted to hear which was incredible because of the age range and our guests were from all over the world.
There’s definitely no need to look further for a DJ, you will be more than happy with the service, price and your guests experience.

Our photographers recommended Carlos to us and we are so glad they did! Everything was spot on from the song choices, uplighting and interaction level with our crowd. Our guests had so much fun and the dance floor was packed the whole night. Carlos was extremely helpful with song selections and helped make our wedding day absolutely perfect. Carlos was amazing! We couldn't have asked for a better DJ to keep our guests entertained and on the dance floor! He spoke to each of our wedding party to make sure he pronounced their names correctly which we thought was great! His son saved the day when our ring bearer had a melt down - we can't thank him enough for! Pleasant, very personable and overall very on point with the music selection! Everyone thought he did a phenomenal job!

Carlos and Jamie were amazing, I couldn't have asked for a better team to DJ my wedding! They left me with nothing to worry about and were so helpful with figuring out all of the small details. When it came down to the ceremony they created an amazing atmosphere for the guests and had everyone dancing! I would use them again in a heartbeat for any function needing a DJ!

Oh boy where to even start with this review other than "FABULOUS" This is the 2nd wedding they have done for my daughters and once again WOW! ABOVE AND BEYOND is an understatement. There was not a thing out of place through the whole night. We had a lot of requests for specific non english songs which they gladly played for us, the up lighting was beautiful and added so much to the venue, the guests had so much fun we extended them to stay at the last minute. Not only are the owners great at what they do but they are super caring, professional and above all just fun people to work with. I cannot thank you enough for all the great service you have given our family over the last 2 years and no worries we have some more weddings in the future to come :) We would never hesitate to recommend 5 star for any event. DJ Carlos is the best! He was so responsive to our needs and made our reception so special. Our friends and family were on the dance floor all night! Carlos was perfect at being that "in the background" MC who kept everyone informed and having fun without being self-indulgent or a stand-up comedian. He took the time to walk us through how to enter, cut the cake, etc. to make sure we were all on the same page. Song selection was exactly to our taste. The reception went so smoothly, we couldn't be happier!

DJ Carlos Russin was outstanding!! He made our special day a one of kind. Guests raved about him, he was attentive to detail and knew what my husband and I loved listening to for music. I highly recommend DJ Carlos! Due to him our wedding was stress free. Having been a bridesmaid multiple times, before being a bride myself, I've seen so many couples stress out during their special day trying to make sure everything happens at the right time. DJ Carlos is the reason my new husband and I didn't have to go through that stress. He's not only an amazing DJ but he also lined up the wedding party for the procession and introductions, and announced when it was time for certain dances, dinner, the cake cutting, and various other parts of the day. My husband and I didn't have to do anything other than enjoy our day!! Your wedding preparation isn't complete without him as your DJ!!

Carlos was excellent. He DJ'ed my wedding, which took place at my family farm this summer & my sister has already booked him for her wedding next year. Our guests have continued to rave about our great DJ!
Carlos and I began talking about a year before the wedding, following recommendations from EIGHT different acquaintances. He provided great advice from the very beginning and was respectful of my opinions as well. I appreciated all of the pre-wedding guidance he provided with music selection and setting the timing of events throughout the reception, which I found to be a more complicated task than I had imagined.
At our reception, Carlos took the reins and moved the night along smoothly and connected with our guests. He managed to ever-so naturally mix in my requests for country oldies/outlaw music throughout the reception, which I just loved! (In retrospect, realize could have been a flop if he wasn't so good what he does!) He also very kindly stayed an additional 2+ hours beyond our contract and had our guests dancing all night long -- this was my absolute #1 hope for my wedding! Our guests had a blast, we danced our butts off, and everyone complained of sore feet (sore abs, you name it) the next morning.
If you have a dancing crowd, don't settle on anything less than a high quality DJ. They certainly help set the tone for the night & I felt that Carlos really "got" what I hoped to achieve for my wedding. It was a day/night we'll never forget.

We knew from the minute we hired Carlos that he was to be our DJ! We clicked! It's hard picking a DJ as unlike a photographer where you can see their work, a DJ is a bit of a leap of faith! Well this guy rocked the house! Our wedding was jamming all night long! Hands down you will be so happy you picked Carlos to entertain your guests! I know we are! :)

Carlos was recommended to us by our wedding coordinator and provided music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception as well as uplighting.

After speaking with many DJs and getting somewhat discouraged by their cheesiness, we were happy to find Carlos, who we could tell right away was fun but professional and not too over the top for us. He was very helpful in the planning process, meeting with us to go through our song list and make sure he perfected the pronunciation of names for entrances. When we discovered that a friend was using the same song we wanted to use for our processional, he recommended a cover which we loved and it ended up working out perfectly.

One of the most important things to us was getting people up and dancing and Carlos made sure that happened. As soon as dinner was over, he got everyone up and dancing and the dance floor stayed packed the entire night...people didn't even leave it for ice cream sundaes.

Carlos also did a phenomenal job with our uplighting. We wanted a soft, candle-lit feel in the room for dinner and Carlos was able to give us just that with amber uplighting and then once the dancing started he changed it to make it feel more like a party.

We were very happy with Carlos' work and would highly recommend him to anyone who wants to get their guests dancing!!

With 6 years experience in the wedding industry, I had a great deal of inside knowledge in planning my wedding. The most important of which was professional experience with many vendors. I had enjoyed working with Carlos previously and so considered him immediately. Approaching him as a client I received the same friendly yet professional and efficient service that I had come to know him for while working in the industry. From the early stages of planning through the end of our wedding, Carlos was an absolute pleasure. His timing and taste for music are perfect, causing our dance floor to be full for 4 hours of dancing! He kept everyone on their toes, offered just the right amount of commentary and was a great addition to our special day. I highly recommend him to anyone searching for a dj.

I had seen Carlos do an amazing job at my brothers wedding in 2007. Therefore, when it was time to choose the entertainment for our Wedding we immediately knew we wanted Carlos!
Carlos provided us with an extensive music list, he was very quick to respond via email (which I prefer), he was very flexible and professional! I am pleased to say we made a very good choice when choosing Carlos!
He also provided up-lighting which was a nice touch of ambiance
to the evening. He played all of our song choices along with his well thought out mix of music. He even had the "non-dancers" on the dance floor!!
Guests are still telling us that our wedding was the most fun they have had at a wedding- Thank you Carlos!

Carlos was the perfect DJ. He was not over the top, but got everyone moving. He also had a very nice way of introducing a song dedicated to my uncle who passed away. He really knows his business and was very professional, but so much fun too. He did an icebreaker to give the centerpieces away. My guests are still talking about how much fun it was. He really set a great tone to the wedding. He also offers uplighting, which I had no idea what it was. He brought the lights but told me we could get rid of them if we didn't like it. Our wedding was a fall wedding so our colors were oranges and browns. We went with orange uplighting and it was absolutely perfect. When we walked into the reception room, we were blown away. It was subtle and our room had a warm glow, which was exactly what we were hoping for. As far as the music goes, he has an extensive selection and can find pretty much anything he does not have. He even did my ceremony music, which was perfect. He faded the music at the perfect times. The reception was non-stop dancing with the perfect amount of slow songs. We would highly recommend Carlos to anyone. Everyone at our wedding thought he was amazing and the music was fabulous!

Carlos was great to work with. He has an excellent web page to help plan out your event and pick music that you would like to hear. Our wedding day was wonderful and the music was great. We had a lot of people dancing and everyone had a good time.

DJ Carlos was a great DJ! He played all the music we wanted and interacted with our family and friends perfectly. We were very happy with 5 Star Entertainment and will tell all of our friends about him! His price was great too and he was was very personable. It was easy to get a hold of him for questions and he answered all of our questions before the reception! His setup looked nice and everything was very professional. We are very pleased!

Carlos was the best DJ ever!! I emailed him what seemed to be a million times, and he was quick to respond and very helpful every time. The online planner offered on his website is awesome, and allowed me to slowly work on what I wanted for the reception without feeling too much pressure. When we met in person, he was very friendly, understanding, and had great suggestions. I changed my mind about the music a lot, and Carlos didn't seem to mind that at all. The day of the wedding, Carlos threw in complimentary uplighting for my reception simply because he had forgotten to offer it to me during our meeting, which was SO nice and really added to the atmosphere. He really got the crowd going without taking over, I couldn't have asked for anything more perfect!

Carlos was an amazing DJ. We hired him after seeing him do a friends wedding and were completely sold. Hes easygoing and really great to work with. He didn't play any of those cheesy typical wedding songs and really got our guests on the dance floor. We also had him do uplighting which really looked amazing in the room. Hes affordable and well worth every penny. Hire this guy! You won't be disappointed.

Carlos was AMAZING!!!! We had him do music from the beginning of the ceremony at 2pm all the way through until the end of the reception at 11pm!!! He got every detail that we reviewed with him perfect - and we had a lot of detail to remember!!! Special songs, and toasts and many other things!!

He was friendly and stuck right to what we wanted - he even stayed later as the party really got going after the fireworks without blinking an eye!!!

You'd be foolish not to hire him!!!

Carlos was WONDERFUL to deal with!!! He had awesome suggestions for songs and intro and was willing and eager to help us out with a special father daughter dance routine! Our guest were THRILLED with his music variety... he really has an ability to read the crowd!! He provided special effects lighting that just completed our reception site set up!! Usually do not give a 5 star rating across the board for anything, but our wedding was simply a 5 star night, and Carlos added to making it one of the BEST nights of our lives.

I work as a club DJ and am also a Producer/Recording Artist. Music is a major part of my life and Carlos catered to my requests as well as my wife's requests. Carlos also provided the use of uplighting; which I HIGHLY recommend. These lights made the room look unbelievable!! Which in turn just added to what was already an amazing night. The photos of the room, cake, and family/friends look incredible.

If you're in need of a professional DJ that will/want to make your special night the best that it can be - check out 5 Star Entertainment. You will not be disappointed!

Carlos did an amazing job with our party! He kept people dancing all night and we had several friends ask where we had found such a great DJ. We would definitely use him again for any future event and would gladly recommend him to any of our friends!

Carlos was excellent! He kept my dancefloor packed the entire reception! He played all the songs we requested, he did not play any songs we put on the do not play list! He had fantastic sets of songs, and knew how to read a crowd. We had a medical emergency at our wedding that he handeled with the utmost professionalism, and care. We thank him dearly for keeping out guests calm and happy during that incedent. He has a nice flow to his music and can mix songs well like a DJ in a club would do. He is top quality and appears to really enjoy his work.

Dj Carlos is absolutely amazing! He really knew how to pull a diverse crowd together, as well as intuitively know what we were looking for. Recommend highly!

Carlos was a true professional. He and his team were more than just the entertainment for our special day. They also helped with keeping the event on track. They communicated very well with us throughout the planning stages and also during the day they communicated well with us and our guests. They were a pleasure to have as part of our day. Aside from being a real professional that helped make our day so memorable, Carlos and his wife are extremely nice, funny and very easy to get along and work with. I recommend them to anyone looking for 5 star entertainment for there wedding day or any other special event. Having the right people makes all the difference, Carlos and Jamie were the right people to provide master of ceremony services at our wedding! Again we would recommend them over and over.

Kept everyone on the dance floor all night. Tied our reception area together with awesome uplighting that matched our colors perfectly. Has an easy online setup for requesting songs!

We are so glad we had Carlos with us on the day of the wedding. He provided a speaker system for my outdoor ceremony separate from the system he had set up in our dinner/dancing tent. He also provided uplighting for the tent, which looked so amazing! He kept the dance floor packed all night and we received many compliments on his performance. A lot of guests said it was the most fun they’ve had at a wedding before. We are so glad we hired him!!

DJ Carlos was fantastic! We were actually referred by our photographers! They had worked with him several times before and mentioned he was outstanding and they were right. I can't say enough good things about his service. He certainly knows his stuff and had people on the dance floor all night long!

He is a very experience dj, and while my finance and I spent some time creating a must play/do not play list we didn't really have to worry about it come our wedding day. Carlos reviewed the lists, met with us and got a good sense of who we are and what we wanted, and took care of the rest. To be honest, i couldn't tell you if he played everything on our requested list or not, but it really didn't matter, EVERYONE was dancing ALL night and having so much fun. It was perfect.

I will also say that he is VERY reasonably priced! We got and extremely qualified DJ for what we considered a low price. I would highly recommend you give him a call!

Carlos did an amazing job at our wedding! Everybody had a great time. We recieved several compliments regarding Carlos and his work. We highly recommend him for any event.

DJ Carlos is great at what he does! Everyone was very impressed with his performance. My only issue is that he was hard to get in touch with while trying to contract.
