Perfection
Our guests are STILL talking about how wonderful the food was at our wedding. We really enjoyed working with Carl. Not only was the food amazing, Carl was so on top of things we knew we had nothing to worry about. We highly recommend 3Dimensional Catering for your wedding or any event. The BEST Caterer we could have ever asked for!
3 Dimensional Catering was AMAZING! If you are considering booking Carl and his 3 Dimensional Catering team for your wedding or event- do it, you won't regret it for a second! Carl and his team gave us a To-Go tasting due to the challenges of COVID and we knew from the beginning that they were the caterer to go with. The food was to die for, our guests are still raving about the food weeks after our wedding! From the cheese board and passed appetizers including bacon wrapped shrimp and crab cakes, to the buffet of amazing BBQ, chicken & waffles, mac and cheese, and then the late night food of grilled cheese & friend fries .... it was all AMAZING! I can't even begin to describe how hard working Carl and his entire team are, they did everything possible to make our day special and we will never forget it! -

speechless....
despite all of the changes and adjustments that we are having to make because of corona virus, 3 Dimensional Catering made sure that our special day would be just that. Our guest list went from 200 down to 20. Luckily Chef Carl was able to restructure and adjust our menu to accodomate the guest change. Everything was splendid!!! -

5 star Family Reunion Meeting
Our family reunion meeting was a couple of days ago. I planned on there being only a few people (5-15) attending. It ended up being (20-30) . I was a bit concerned that I wouldn’t have enough food samplers to accommodate everyone. Chef Carl provided me with more than enough samplers. After everyone ate, I still had some left over. The samplers tasted amazing. Everyone was pleased ! We highly recommend this company -

Anniversary Dinner

Upcoming wedding
After speaking to a few caterers, I continued my search and came across 3 Dimensional Catering. I called and spoke to Tammy first and then I spoke to the Chef himself, he guaranteed me that he could accommodate whatever I asked for. It all about customer satisfaction! I hadn't sampled his food, but his conversation and willingness to go above and beyond sold me! I scheduled the tasting and the samples were so good!!! I can't wait until my wedding day....the search stops here!! I high recommend Three Dimensional Catering.. -

Corporate Dinners & parties, fundraising events, quinceaneras
Not only does 3DC do a fabulous job catering weddings, they will also cater for corporate events, fundraising, quinceaneras, and formal and non formal parties. Chef Carl can do it all! I am so glad that I went with my first instinct and reached out to Chef Carl. I met him at the kitchen for a tasting and after sampling a few of the items we spoke about, it's safe to say that I will be using his services for my upcoming Christmas party and for other events that I have planned during 2020. Look no further! I highly recommend 3DC!!!! -

Simply the best
I was a little nervous at first, because I had guest that are Vegan. I wanted them to have a full stomach when they left my brunch as well. Chef made sure that he provided more than enough for my vegan guest. They left very pleased! We all had a wonderful 3DC experience. Thanks again! -

Best Birthday Dinner Ever!
Chef Carl worked his magic in the 3DC kitchen. He made sure that everything was set up nicely and neatly, and Chef also made sure that there was enough food for my guest. My party was buffet style, serve your selves. 3DC provided more than enough. My guests were going home with plates. I will most definitely use them again! -

Excellent service.
They arrived on time and with excellent food for our wedding. We did the BBQ option and it was amazing. The staff was super nice and I had constant communication during the planning process to help me coordinate to my needs. They set up, served, packed the leftovers at the end and tore down as needed. Wonderful people. Would absolutely recommend. -

40 years of Wow!
We celebrated my wife’s parents 40 year anniversary on 8/31/19. From the time we spoke/ met with Chef Carl and his team they were first class. Chef Carl did not need our business, he made us feel like he did. The food, service, and attention to detail was excellent. Thanks to Tammy for being there to answer my many questions. I will definitely use Chef Carl again. Chef Carl provides his clients with the Sewell Lexus or BMW experience! Simply amazing 😉 -

Bachelor Party
My groomsmen had no idea what I had in store for them..Instead of them surprising me, I surprised them...They walked into the party room to some prime rib, baked potatoes with all the sides, green beans, salad, rolls, and to top it off some good ole southern peach cobbler. I also had a bartender serving up our favorite drinks for a few hours. Thank you 3DC for your outstanding service. -

Does not disappoint
I honestly don't even know where to start when it comes to gushing about Chef Carl and 3 Dimensional Catering. We got married May 19th and Chef Carl and his crew were above professional, the food was delicious, and our overall experience with this company was amazing. We had a very short engagement, like 6 months, and so one of the biggest things I was worried about was the catering since we were on such a short timeline. My husband and I went to the tasting with Chef Carl and immediately knew that we wanted him to cater our event. He and his crew were always super responsive and accommodating to our requests which was a feat considering that my husband is active duty Army and I was working a full-time job while also planning our wedding. They were at the venue in plenty of time to setup a beautiful artisan fruit and cheese platter for our happy hour and everyone is still raving about how good the dinner was! My mom a month later still talks about how good the flat iron steak was!
All-in-all, Chef Carl and 3 Dimensional Catering was amazing and should be used for every event you have. -

Fantastic Wedding Meal
The people who attended my son's wedding all thought the food was excellent as did all the bridal party. They also catered the rehearsal dinner and Chef Carl brought more than enough food for all the guests. Chef Carl talked with the guests which made it much more special. All the employees were helpful and when we had questions answered quickly. I would highly recommend this company for any events. Chef Carl also made a special appetizer from the Dominican Republic, to make the bride's family feel like part of the party. He went above and beyond our expectations. I know that when my daughter gets married, we will be using his company again. -

If you are looking for a perfectly elegant experience, with excellent food and service, look no more. 3 Dimensional Catering and Chef Carl provided exceptional service, food and an unforgettable experience for my daughter's wedding. I’ve received so many compliments on the food and service! At least 20 guests have asked for Carl’s contact information.
I would highly recommend Carl. His team leaves nothing to spare. He is the best in Dallas. I’ve been to a lot of weddings over the past 20 years, and none of them held a candle to what Carl provided. This was the best food and service!! -

Carl and Tammy were a delight to work with. As soon as we tried the food, they had us! They were very responsive and cusomized our menu to our needs. All of our guests has steak dinners except my dad who got the only chicken dish as he could not each steak. It meant so much to me that they were able to treat him special so he was able to eat on our wedding day! I would recommend them to anyone for any event!!!! -

When my husband and I initially began taste testing for our wedding, 3-Dimensional Catering was the first on the list. After our first bite we were sold! The food was so delicious, and Chef Carl was so amazing! He was polite, professional, and very open and honest with any and all questions and concerns we had.
Fast forward to our Big Day, the food was everything we remembered it being! The steak was juicy, and the chicken was seasoned so perfectly. We were receiving compliments all night about the food!!
The team they provided for my guests was extraordinary! They were so polite to my guests, and they executed every pre-planned detail to the T. With every great wedding there must be great food. 3-Dimensional Catering provided that and so much more. Thank you, Chef Carl and your team for making my day special! -

Carl and the team were fantastic!! The food was amazing - every bit as good as it was at the tasting. What set 3D apart, however, was the performance at the wedding. Everything went like clockwork. My event was for an anniversary. 3 Dimensional stayed in touch up till the event, making sure I had everything I wanted, I made some changes along the way, and it was no problem with changes, very accommodating . They were here when they said they would be, presentation was beautiful and food was delicious. I received many compliments from my guest.

Quality service from the tasting to the last bite at the dinner. Chef Carl and the staff were quick to respond to questions and delivered a delicious meal. I would definitely use them again. I did not get any photos but the food display was outstanding.

I am so pleased that I contracted with 3 Dimensional Catering and Design. From the day I spoke with them about the event, things were very professional and went smoothly. The food was AMAZING!! It was well-presented in the set-up, and we found them extra accommodating. My family and friends could not stop talking about the delicious items and diversity of offerings. The gentlemen including Chef Hall entered well coiffed and worked efficiently to ensure we had all we needed. I had missed connecting some dots with dishes, and they accommodated us. It doesn't get better, I'm telling you. I highly recommend this company. Our next event?? You betcha it will be 3 Dimensional! (Just so you know, I live in Kentucky and had no prior experience with the company nor did I know the business partners.) -

Recently my husband and I celebrated our 35th Anniversary and used 3 Dimensional Catering & Design. That was one of the best decision we made in celebrating renewing our vows. We have had other catered events that was good, however 3 Dimensional was hands down the best.
Our menu consisted of a House salad, Seasoned- roasted medallion of pork tenderloin mirrored with rosemary, Demi glazed marinated grilled chicken breast with sautéed mushrooms, onions and peppers (to die for), Balsamic new potatoes, Signature green beans (perfectly seasoned), “WARM” homemade yeast rolls. The kid menu was pizza, chicken tenders, mac-n-cheese. The serving staff was nice, helpful and very friendly. We are still receiving calls from our guest raving about the food and staff. Hats off to Chief Carl and his staff. The quality of the food was EXCEPTIONAL.
The whole experience with 3 Dimensional Catering was OUTSTANDING from the time we called to inquire, to the date my event ended. Tammy was so warm and friendly with a great personality. We had numerous conversations, as you could imagine and each time I felt as if I was speaking to a friend. Tammy was truly a pleasure to work with. She made me feel as though my event was just as important to her as it was to me. We met Chief Carl when we went to the food tasting. He had set the table up as if we were attending a formal dinner. He was warm and inviting and we laughed and talked as we enjoyed our meal. By the time our event had ended we felt as if Chief Carl and Tammy was part of our family. We highly recommend 3 Dimensional Catering & Design to anyone looking for a caterer for their next event. You will be very pleased.

We had Chef Carl and the team catered for our reception on April 7th! Due to crazy Texas weather, we taking our party from backyard to inside the house. The team was only notified when they arrived on site on the day of the event. The whole team were well accommodating with the last minute changes. The food was superb. Not only us but the whole guests loves the food! We were grateful we found 3 Dimensional. Totally satisfied with the service, the food and the whole experience. Worth every penny for sure! If you looking for a caterer for your event, look no further! 3 Dimensional i s your answer! -

3 Dimensional went out of their way to make sure our daughter's wedding reception was fitting for the occasion. The food was delicious and the servers/bartenders were very friendly. We even had kid's meals and even a vegan option for our guests. We had a bakery provide the wedding cake, but Chef Carl offered to make the groom's cake. We were not disappointed. The marble cake with chocolate mousse filling and ganache was a crowd favorite. Highly recommend the 3 Dimensional team! -

3D provided a delicious meal for my wedding day. Chef Carl was willing to make whatever I wanted happen, and answered any phone calls/texts promptly when I had questions/concerns. Additionally, he was able to add a grooms cake (also delicious) last minute when our previous arrangement had fallen through. I was very pleased with the quality of the food and definitely recommend. -

We had one month to plan a home wedding reception, and it all came together thanks to Chef Carl and his team. I wanted to accommodate many eating preferences (from Mexican to strict Vegan), and Chef Carl had the brilliant suggestion of different stations, giving guests great options. The food was delicious; we had brisket sliders, chicken tacos, vegan hummus with warm flatbread, vegan potato skins, and of course desserts - including some amazing chocolate cake balls. The team who set us up and served were fun and friendly and added to the party. Chef Carl himself showed up to make sure everything was perfect. Tammy (contact for the contract and payments) was also friendly and so encouraging. Catering is expensive, but when you can relax and enjoy your daughter's wedding, knowing that this group has the kitchen and food under perfect control, you have to know it's worth every penny. -

Carl and his team have THE BEST food in town! 4 months before the wedding, we had 3 catering vendors lined up for a tasting, and Carl was the first. My father loved him and his food so much that we canceled our other two appointments! Since our wedding in October, we've booked him to cater two additional family meals, and they deliver EVERYTIME. Everyone at our wedding was raving about the food, and they even handled our cake too, which was thick, rich, and beautiful!

3 Dimensional Catering provided drop off catering service for my husbands 50th Birthday celebration on a boat in Grapevine, Texas. Service and food was awesome. They worked within my time constraints as they were limited. The food was enjoyed by all and it removed me from the equation of having to prepare items for my guests. You won't find a better caterer in the business; their attention to detail is unmatched and they are all really nice people that truly care about making your event fabulous. The fruit arrangement was adorable (A watermelon carved into a baby carriage with more fruit carved like a baby inside of it). AMAZING ?? Everyone was very happy with the food & the arrangements! They was extremely responsive in meeting our need for the reunion event. They worked as a team in completing the task with purpose.
They set the example for me as to what a catering service should be by their quality of service, value, and professional customer service. Carl and the staff of 3 Dimensional Catering & Design met all of my expectation. We selected a Southern menu for our Western theme for our family reunion. We absolutely love the menu.
The food, the freshness, the flavor, the set up, and design was truly amazing. It was the type of event that left my family member from around the country talking for days about how good their meals was. I recommend 3 Dimensional Catering & Catering & Design.
If you are looking for an affordable catering service that is respectable reasonable 3 Dimensional Catering & Design is that choice, it was ours. It is the type of place that left me with the sense that they will always will be a part of our family catering needs.

Chef Carl is a man with a sweet heart. This is not just a business for him, but a passion. When he is talking to you and when he is at your event, it is about you and only you! He has become a friend of my mom's because we have used him for all catering events at our church, for charities dinners we plan/organize and of course for my wedding. He always takes that extra effort to make sure you are happy. At our reception, the bartenders we hired showed up late, so he had his staff give out drinks to our guests. He also took the time to make sure my husband and I were happy with the food and service at the reception. HIGHLY recommended!! -

Please accept my sincere apology on behalf of 3DC entire culinary team. I am very sorry to learn that your overall experience for the wedding we catered was less than adequate based on your concerns. It is our goal to always exceed our customers' expectations.
I understand your frustration and want to fix the situation anyway we can. We will take full responsibility for some of your concerns, however all of your concerns are not valid and truthful.
However, I'd like to explain my concerns as well. First and foremost your wedding was buffet service. Nowhere on your contract does it state you service would be plated service. The majority of our events are buffet service because it’s more cost effective for our clients.
We did have a team member who arrived on site at the golf course in her other job's uniform. That team members was coached and counseled on our uniform policy. Our team members can arrive on site in a Chef jackets or t-shirts while there are unloading and setting up an event. Before the function starts, all staff members should be in the proper uniform either our blue uniform shirt shirts or Chef's Whit coat for our back of the house culinary team members. Mrs. Barnes did apologize to our culinary team and myself, that she was not in the correct uniform while setting up, however she change into her proper uniform 30 minutes prior to the event starting. She took full responsibility in knowing she was improperly dressed.
At 3DC the ultimate goal is to make sure that we do everything possible to assure our guests expectations are met.

3 Dimensional Catering did a fabulous job catering a corporate luncheon for XO Communications for a Christmas party. The food was excellent and the servicers were professional and extremely helpful throughout the entire event. The 3D team arrived early, decorated the tables beautifully and had the food set up and ready to go. When the event was over, they cleaned up and left the area like they found it. Again, the food was fabulous; we had BBQ, potatoes, green beans and jalepeno beans. And there was more than enough food for the number that we paid for. It is always a pleasure to work with Chef Carl and his team. -

Lovely people who serve incredible food!
Chef Carl was such a lovely person to work with and made the best food! We had such wonderful compliments on the food and he made sure everything ran smoothly! We can’t thank him and his team enough for making our night so special!! :D I would definitely hire his team again for any other large events.
The only thing I would say that could be improved is communication. This should not be confused with responsiveness. Their team was very responsive and kind in every interaction! I would just make sure that before you send anyone a contract, make sure to really proofread it. Since contracts are legally binding documents that would be used in court if anything outrageously bad were to happen, contracts should be proofread thoroughly. -

Pre Super Bowl Mingle
I decided to have a evening gathering pre super bowl party on a Friday night, Chef Carl personally dropped off the food and all the trimmings that I needed to make my party successful. My menu consisted of bbq, burger sliders, chips & dips, baked beans and potato salad. I cannot say enough how pleased I am. Thank you -

Amazing!
Chef Carl and his team were amazing from start to finish. We booked him a year out to make sure he was available for our June wedding! The quality of his food can’t be beat, our wedding was almost two weeks ago and people are still raving about the food!! If you want delicious food at a reasonable price you can’t go wrong with 3 Dimensional Catering! -

Job well done
While I was busy finalizing the finishing touches on my grandson’s college fill the trunk going away party..Chef Carl and his amazing team were taking care of the fabulous food..I told Chef Carl my ideas of what I wanted... he did the rest! Ribs, brisket, potato salad, green beans, chicken tenders, rolls, fresh fruit..everyone left with a full belly! I will most definitely be using 3DC for future occasions!! Thank you for a job well done!!! -

I used 3 Dimensional Catering for a last minute donor reception & would not hesitate to use them for a wedding reception. They were extremely responsive & wonderful to work with. The food was tasty & service was great. The staff was courteous & helpful. I will use them when I am in the area again & would highly recommend them to those in the Dallas area. -

Chef Carl and Tammy were wonderful to work with. They helped us get to something we were happy with. They were with us through it all. When itcame time for the wedding, the food was wonderful! We received numerous compliments about the food and the service with the whole staff. I highly recommend them! Thank you for helping to make our daughters wedding memorable! -

My daughter is using Chef Carl for her wedding next month and we are excited ! I wanted to share some feedback from today’s luncheon I had catered for my company .
I just wanted to share feedback from today’s luncheon. You received nothing but high praise (of course I already knew they would love it!). I actually ordered extra food but there were no leftovers!
Team members were asking where I found you and of course, I made sure they got a brochure that Tammy left behind this morning.
I was especially excited that I was able to get a team member to try the vegetable lasagna (she’s nothing but a meat eater and loves her fried foods). But for her to come tell me how she didn’t even miss the meat speaks volume!! -

Don't do it.
DON'T DO IT. Notice how all the reviews on here are old? That should've been our first red flag. We've had an absolutely horrible experience with this company, so don't let those 'high reviews' fool you. This is an unprofessional company you should stay away from so you don't make the same mistake we made in hiring Chef Carl.
Due to our original caterer going out of business, we'd hired this company to cater our wedding two months before the event, with the understanding that they'd be able to accomodate us and handle everything that we needed. We made our first deposit the same day we had the tasting (which was sub-par, but we didn't have a lot of options). All of our communication was thru the owner - Chef Carl.
After they got that first payment, responses to our questions were both slow and non-existent. He'd completely ignore our questions, was always 'busy' or somehow on vacations every time we'd try to call for responses. His response when we finally got a hold of him would be 'i'll get it to you tomorrow' which of course--never happened. What we were asking wasn't difficult--an updated invoice, questions on dietary restrictions, final-count due date, normal wedding questions.
Finally, after my fiance left a voicemail (because he stopped answering our calls) exactly ONE WEEK before our wedding, we told him we were cancelling and to refund our money due to non-responsiveness. He proceeded to call back the next day to say that "I'll refund you, but I don't know why you're so stressed out. I've been doing this for 20 years and no one's ever stressed out. I go over details 2 days before the event."
Did you read that? TWO DAYS before the wedding, is when he was expecting to get our final count, and to sort out all of our miscellaneous questions. I can only assume he's been lying about working in the wedding industry for 20 years because i KNOW that's not normal. We had logistic questions, food questions, multiple details that needed to get figuired out--but he was always MIA. I understand that vendors get busy, especially right now with all the weddings but this is ridiculous. Not to mention the fact, that we're planning a wedding. I have multiple other vendors to deal with and family in town. I'm not going to be spending the last 2 days before my wedding getting my caterer sorted out.
And the best part? He never returned our money. We had to go thru a bank dispute and wait 2 months AFTER the wedding for us to get our refund. Don't make the mistake of hiring this fraud. -

How this guy is in business I will never know?
I cannot begin to express the nightmare that it was dealing with this catering company and especially with Chef Carl. They get one star from me only because Google won't allow me to make it zero. Chef Carl took my first $2600 payment and I never heard from him again. Strap yourself in because this is gonna be a long one. I booked this company on May 4th of 2022 for a wedding on July 11th because our original caterer went out of business. Those were the most stressful two months of my life and it was all mainly due to them.
My wife and I booked everything for the wedding ourselves and out of 18 other vendors and this company was literally the only one that gave us issues.
Here was what, I can now recall, was the first red flag I should've caught when speaking to Chef Carl. Everytime we had a question about things that would be included with the booking he would respond with what I can only describe as "arrogance." Asking him questions like "can we please make sure we have chicken breast instead of chicken thigh" would usually be followed with a condescending nod and "sure" or "look I've been doing this for 20 years..." or something along those lines. At the time my thought process was, "he's probably heard these questions a million times and that's probably why he's responding like this' '. Turns out that that was his attitude all along.
After that, the following two months were just a blur of unanswered texts, emails, questions and wrong invoices followed by the lack of an actual process to actually iron out details regarding the booking. A month away from the wedding our questions were simple " when do we have to give you our final RSVP count? and when do we have to pay you by?" but as he refused to answer back and he just kept sending incorrect quotes and invoices, more and more questions piled up that he just refused to acknowledge. Simple things like "can you please give us the options for our guests that need diabetic entrees?" or "why does the "operation and admin fee" keep going up in each invoice?"
A week away from the wedding he still refused to give us any type of reasonable communication so we made the call to cancel the booking and just find a new caterer, and thank goodness we did because it turned out that Chef Carl was scamming us the entire time. The last communication we had with him was after I sent him a long message explaining why we are cancelling our booking. He called me, because he doesn't like to keep things on record, he won't answer emails, he just always calls even though I repeatedly asked to please answer in writing. I knew this so I decided not to answer, so he left a voicemail (which i kept) basically gaslighting me saying things like "I don't know what you are stressing about, your wedding is not for a week, I don't usually do anything until 2 days before". I called him back and just said "we just want our money back" to which I just recieved a "Ok, just tell me where to send the check" and hung up. Then I sent him a text message with the address to which he replied "ok". And that, ladies and gentlemen is the last time I ever heard from Chef Carl.
I sent him emails, texts, phone calls, voicemails which he never replied to and he never returned my money. So as I said, we are pretty sure we were getting scammed the entire time. I'm just writing this review now because we ended up having to dispute the charge with our bank and that's how we ended up getting our money back. He never returned it. So now that we have it expect to see this exact review in every possible review platform because everyone in TX should be aware that Chef Carl, in my experience, is not reputable, is not client friendly and most importantly is very likely a scam. -

Here is my story-
I used lll Dimensional Catering for my wedding this June 2016 and was pleased with the taste of the food, however the service was very disappointing. I was supposed to have my guest served chicken Marsala but instead they got chicken with sauce. But still not the worst part.... We had a worker show up in hospital scrubs to serve at my formal Wedding Reception. She was allowed to serve as if it was okay. We were served food that we didn't order and were not given the food we expected. They showed up to my venue at 6 pm and my wedding time was 4 pm which meant my guest had to wait on them to set up before they could eat.
When I tried contacting them I was given excuses and they refused to meet with me about my experience. Tammy and Chef Carl were really nice and friendly before my event but would not speak to me after the event. They tried to justify by bringing up other incidents that came up, instead of owning up to what my real concerns were. After the reception I was supposed to get my food that was left over and not eaten by my guest and I never saw this food, although a worker told me I had plenty left over. I was told it would be put up for me and when I looked for it, it was all gone. NOTHING WAS LEFT FOR ME. Not even the containers that should have obtained the food. Fishy!!!!
I'm not happy with the service received especially for the price we paid which was well over $4,000 and to be treated this way and ignored is inexcusable!
