Working with Beth for our wedding was hands down one of the BEST decisions we made in our entire wedding planning process. If you are thinking about working with Beth, don't think twice and book her now before she books up!
She is warm, kind, thoughtful, and an amazing photographer. She is so talented at what she does - we love our engagement and wedding photos and will cherish them for years to come. We hadn't taken professional photos before as a couple, and her warmth quickly put us at ease. On our wedding day, Beth and her team were so great at directing us and also capturing the joyous candid moments. She knows Veritas Vineyard & Winery so well and even drove us up to the upper meadow to get the best mountain shots. You can tell she loves what she does and is so dedicated - she worked so hard on our wedding day to get all the shots we wanted. Just a couple days after our wedding, she also sent back a long preview gallery photos - it was so special to get all those photos back while we were still on the wedding weekend high!
I truly cannot express what a wonderful wedding photographer and human Beth is. She is so easy to work with and has a ton of experience as a wedding photographer. I would 100% recommend Beth to any future bride - her brides are lucky to get to work with her! Thank you Beth and team!! -

6 months later and the photos still amaze me
We have officially reached 6 months of marriage this past December. One of our Christmas presents was an album of our wedding photos, taken by 3Cats. Seeing the photos again after having not looked at them for awhile made me feel all of the excitement and joy that was our wedding day. I attribute that to Beth and her team. As someone who isn’t a fan of having her picture taken, I was amazed at how comfortable Beth made me feel in front of the camera and how beautiful I felt while taking those pictures and after seeing them. I can’t recommend 3Cats enough. Their team will make you feel so special on your big day and so cared for in the weeks leading up to it. The day went by in a blink but 3Cats made the blink last just a second longer.

Hiring 3 Cats is the best choice you’ll make outside of picking your spouse :)
What can I say about Beth that will adequately capture how incredible she is? She is a phenomenal photographer and human being alike. We initially reached out to her based on a recommendation from a friend. Although she had already been fully booked for the year, she was available on our date and offered to take us on. She is responsive, kind, and was very helpful throughout our planning process. Her questionnaires are very detailed, and you know exactly what to expect from her in terms of her contract and deliverables. Our engagement photos (part of the wedding package!) were fantastic. Not only were the photos gorgeous, but she was so easy to work with. She is great at making you feel comfortable and natural. She is also SO FUN! She will be down for anything you want to try. If you want someone who can capture your unique spirit and flair, she is the best choice. Prior to our wedding day, she had a call with us to make sure she was optimally prepared for the day. And prepared she was. She was on top of it at all times. So many people approached us to say how wonderful she and her second shooter were. Incredibly, within 12 hours of the wedding's end, we had a preview gallery of 99 photos ready to view. Unbelievable! The photos are GORGEOUS. Words cannot capture. So many people have reached out to tell us how beautiful the photos were, like they were created for a magazine. We could not be happier, and I have no doubt the final album will be equally spectacular. For memories of a once-in-a-lifetime event that will last a lifetime, choosing 3 Cats Photos is a no-brainer. -

Hiring Beth was 100% the best decision we made for our wedding. We decided photography would be one of our “splurge” vendors as having great photos was really important to us, but Beth’s prices are actually extremely reasonable for the quality and quantity of photos she provides. After both our engagement shoot and our wedding, she sent 1-2 preview photos the same night which I really appreciated. She also delivered the actual full set of previews just a few days later. She also listened to what we wanted as a couple and let us head back to our cocktail hour without pressure when we were getting a little tired of posing, which I really appreciated. We love all of our photos so much and I couldn’t be happier with our decision to hire her. Beth is professional, responsive, flexible, and also just an all around kind human. If you are considering 3 Cats Photo for your wedding day, don’t hesitate! -

Dream Photographer
If you do not go with Beth, you will regret it. She is PHENOMENAL. Not only is she incredibly talented with her amazing eye, she makes everyone in front of the lens feel comfortable. Our wedding day was a dream come true and to have it so perfectly captured by Beth keeps the dreaminess alive every time we look at our photos. She made the whole day flow seamlessly and is so much fun to work with!! I feel like I could go on and on about her but words could never express how amazing she truly is. Thank you Beth for everything - you are the best. -

We are at a loss for words
From the moment I first spoke with Beth, I knew she was the best person to capture our story. In fact, I contacted Beth and signed a contract with her before we even had an official date because I KNEW I would have no one else as our photographer. She has been so kind to us. Due to the coronavirus, we had to postpone our wedding twice. She traveled to Richmond to capture our micro ceremony and everyone in our family fell in love with her just like we have. She is more than a wedding photographer, she is now our friend. Our entire engagement and our first wedding would not have been the same without her. We’re excited to create some more magic in December! -

From my first conversation with Beth, I knew we had chosen someone who cared deeply about creating an unforgettable experience. From sweet surprises along the way to a breathtaking gallery, 3 Cats is uniquely incredible.
Not only does Beth care, but she and her team ROCK! Every single moment was captured so beautifully and she and her team were able to keep everyone on track so that they could capture everything we wanted. We are blown away by the details captured and the beauty and care put into each image. We could not be happier with how everything turned out.
My memory of the day would not be the same without Beth and her team. She felt like part of the family and we truly loved spending the whole day with her by our side. I cannot express enough what a genuine gem she is and how much love she puts into every detail. We are so grateful! -

After our wedding, our biggest advice to couples is to like your photographer because you'll spend a lot of your day with them. Beth and her team were fabulous and made us so comfortable through out the photo process. We weren't very familiar with taking professional photos, so having the engagement session with Beth was so helpful because we got to know her and were able to get more comfortable with being in front of the camera. All of our family and wedding party were raving about working with her. The photos are breathtaking and beyond anything we expected. Her turn around is amazingly fast too- we were able to see a preview album within days of our wedding. Overall, we highly recommend Beth. -

Besides choosing my husband, choosing Beth (and the 3cats team) was my favorite decision I made for our wedding. She is outstanding. Her talent is undeniable, and the photographs are so beautiful. Along with our family and friends, we have gushed over the pictures, stunned and grateful that they are ours to keep and cherish forever.
Beth is incredibly responsive and organized, and knows how a wedding should run. She makes being in front of a camera feel natural, calm, and even fun. Our engagement shoot felt like we were hanging out with good friends, who just so happened to be snapping amazing pictures. She made us feel so special!
Somehow, Beth’s talent is matched by her kindness and magnetism. Not only is Beth an extremely talented photographer, she is the best kind of person; warm, compassionate, lovely. The kind of person you want nearby during a special day, and any regular day too.
I am so thrilled by my experience with Beth (and Beth & Amy, too!). I highly recommend 3 Cats Photo, and I know you will be as happy as we are. -

I apologize in advance, because I know nothing that I write here will truly capture how incredible Beth is. She was with us from our engagement pictures through the wedding. She is responsive, creative, flexible, and, above all else, loving. She truly wanted our wedding day to be the best experience possible, and made it exactly that. She met all of our wants and needs, and then some. The pictures do the talking for themselves, but the thing I appreciate most is that Beth had sneak peeks to us in less than twelve hours. She also contacted me the next morning to ensure she got everything, should we need to gather people one last time before they traveled. Beth is the best in the business, and her team is outstanding. If you don't book with her, you're truly missing out. -

My husband and I are so happy we chose 3 Cats Photo for our engagement photos and wedding! Beth is an absolute dream. We knew as soon as we met her that she was going to be fun. On both days, she kept us (and everyone else!) laughing and relaxed. She came up with lots of creative ideas to get some absolutely stunning shots, and we couldn't be more thrilled with our pictures. Beth feels much more like a friend than a vendor, but she still comes with a ton of professionalism and artistic photos. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was captured, and she took the time to understand our wants and needs. Beth had great advice for our wedding day timeline, and she was flexible when we had to make adjustments. Honestly, she is just the absolute best in the business. Having Beth as our wedding photographer was an absolute dream come true!!! She was the most integral part of our day, capturing all of the little moments that we will get to relive for the rest of our lives. Not to mention she also photographed our rehearsal and even offered to photograph the dinner!
I don't know where to begin. She is extremely easy going and made planning our wedding photos as stress-free as possible. Throughout the day she felt more like an old friend than anything else. I was so happy to have her by our sides taking our photos throughout the day and she went above and beyond to capture every little moment. She had a preview blog up the NEXT DAY and all of my guests, even people who weren't at the wedding, were RAVING about how beautiful all of the pictures were! We even have people asking who the photographer was so they can have her at their next event. Beth - we can't thank you enough for all the work and passion you put into our wedding and we cannot wait to see the rest of the pictures. And your surprise photograph to us during dinner made my night!

Kristin Sent on 03/05/2015I am a venue & catering manager in Crozet, Virginia and I worked with 3 Cats Photo on a winter themed styled shoot that Bath dreamed up. It happened to land during a snow storm. Beth carried equipment through the snow and hopped fences to get the shots I really wanted. Not to mention, she drove all around the county to pick up our snow-in models for the shoot. Words can't express how positive, encouraging and supportive Beth was throughout the planning process, day-of the shoot, and with all the tasks that are necessary post-shoot. Her quality of work speaks for itself, her shots are stunning.
Beth is absolutely WONDERFUL to work with, and I would highly recommend 3 Cats Photo to any of my brides. Can't wait to work with them again soon! -

Before the wedding, I spoke with David a couple times to let him know what kinds of pictures I wanted and who I would want pictures with. He was very flexible and was able to give me exactly what I wanted and more! Throughout the event, he was professional and captured many of the moments I will remember for the rest of my life. He is candid pictures of the reception are some of my favorite shots of family and friends and I absolutely love the picture of my husband and me together! He blended with the crowd and got great shots but was easy to find when I wanted specific pictures with people. After the wedding our pictures were up online within a couple of days and I received the prints very fast in the mail. I would highly recommend david jones photography to any bride/groom.
