Delicious EVERYTHING & Great People

I'm not usually a dessert person, but everything I tried from 2tarts was unreal! Our venue recommended them and their reviews looked great, which matched how amazing their desserts were! We went with italian cream cake and Bre listened to everything we wanted in regards to shape, frosting type, and how our fresh flowers would be incorporated. Instead of a grooms cake we did a dessert bar...which everyone needs to do. People seemed to be more likely to snag a mini brownie, cheesecake, or tart than an entire piece of cake. We LOVED working with Bre and Erin. Both of them were so sweet, no pun intended. They're also an entire bakery with all kinds of dangerous treats if you wanted to make your dessert table even better! 2Tarts will work with you and suggest the perfect cake and/or desserts that will match your style and budget. Great communication in-person, on the phone, and by email!

The tastiest cake ever

Oh my gosh, talk about the best cake ever!! From our initial tasting (which wow, how difficult it is to pick a flavor for your cake, they're all so delicious!!!) down to our wedding day, the 2tarts team is wonderful to work with. If you're ever in New Braunfels, stop by their cute bakery and get some baked goods. Everything is delicious! We received so many compliments from our guests about our wedding cake, from the look of it to the taste of it. We can't wait until our 1 year anniversary to dig into our top layer LOL. They are great at turning your vision of your wedding cake design into reality and truly creating a beautiful and especially tasty cake.

We Love 2 Tarts

I have nothing but great things to say about 2 Tarts. From our over the phone consultation to our in person consultation and tasting, to the communication prior to our wedding, to the actual cake/dessert table delivery and set up, everything was beyond great! I was so happy that I could share my ideas and expectations with 2 Tarts and they would give me their honest opinions. When I asked questions I did not feel like I was being pressured to buy more items/ change what I wanted.
My only complaint....if you could actually call it a complaint, (haha) was that the desserts at our dessert table were SO DELICIOUS, my husband and I didnt even get a chance to enjoy them because they were all gone by the time we made it to the cake table! However, that speaks volumes about 2 Tarts and how great everything was. I think that's a good problem to have! :) We have already talked about making the drive to New Braunfels just to visit the bakery for some more yummy treats! We cannot wait until March 8th of next year so we can indulge in the top tier of our cake! We will definitely be recommending 2Tarts to all of our newly engaged friends and family members!

Challenge Accepted and Accomplished!

What a fantastic bakery team! My wife and I are so glad we were able to find and work with 2Tarts on our dream wedding cake. It was also wonderful to find a bakery that did not back down from a challenge! Our cake turned out delicious and unique, truly our own. Their expertise was on point and their knowledge was a powerful force, and we were happy to have them on our vendor team! Also good to note that they run a bake/coffee shop in addition to being cake rockstars, equally as delicious and inviting. :)

Great Team & Delicious Cakes/Cookies

We loved working with 2tarts. The cake was a huge hit at our wedding! Also, we added gluten free almond thumbprint cookies and the our GF and non-GF friends alike were raving about them!

Beautiful Cake!

My husband and I recently got married and we absolutely loved all of the vendors that were there to make our special day exactly what he had dreamed it would be. Our wedding cakes was absolutely incredible. The design was gorgeous and came out exactly as we hoped. The consultation was so helpful to truly get a good sense of the cake we wanted. I loved that there were so many flavors, and they were all so good. The cake decorators did a phenomenal job creating our star wars groom cake and elegant wedding cake.

From the consultation and tasting to the day of our reception the team at 2tarts Bakery was amazing to work with. Every detail was perfect right down to the gold dusted blackberries. The only thing better than the way the cake looked was how it tasted. Our guests raved about the delicious Blackberry Almond Buttercream Cake - a winner for sure!

Our guest loved the sweet treats we had and were perfectly decorated to fit what my husband and I wanted for our treats.
Tip definitely order at least double your guest count. We didn’t have any leftover for him and I or ask them to keep two of each for you and your partner since they go so quick.

Outstanding job!!!

Yum!!! After hearing so many stories about disappointing wedding cakes, biting into ours was a highlight of the reception. The cake was moist and delicious, the fillings perfectly accented the cake, and the buttercream icing was just right — not too buttery and not too sugary. Working with the 2tarts staff was great. They captured our vision beautifully and even fulfilled our request for a special filling flavor. We would recommend 2tarts unconditionally.

Amazing Baker

2tarts did My Groom's cake :)

2 tarts did the Grooms cake and we were so pleased! First off, wow, the tasting was amazing. My taste buds were in heaven! They were just so professional and truly great with helping my fiance (now husband) figure out what he wanted and then making that come to life. They were awesome!

Cake that tasted as great as it looked!

2tarts Bakery did an amazing job on our wedding cake and groomsmen cake! At the tasting, we tasted four amazing flavors and actually went with all four plus a fifth flavor. 2tarts event went along with our crazy idea of having a groomsmen cake shaped like a Yeti Cooler with a fish next to it. Both our cakes tasted so good that all the cake was gone at our wedding!! We even ordered for 300 and there were only 265 guests! I highly recommend 2tarts Bakery for anyone planning a wedding or special event!

Best Experience

We loved everything about 2tarts! They helped us figure out what we wanted for our cake from the flavor to style. We picked dark chocolate and raspberry for our top tier and passion fruit and raspberry for the rest of the cake. Both were delicious!! Our guests loved our cake as well. Even the left overs were just as yummy! The staff was super friendly and helpful. We definitely recommend!

Gorgeous and unique!

2tarts was so amazing to work with for our wedding! They offer so many delicious and unique flavor choices and we knew we wanted to do something unexpected, so their passion fruit cake was the perfect choice. We were impressed at our tasting but the cake on our wedding day was even more incredible - super moist and flavorful! We received so many compliments and guests were happy to continue eating the leftovers at our event the day after! They also really outdid themselves on the design of our display/cutting cake, to the point that we literally had people screeching in awe when they saw how beautiful it was. Highly recommended!

Delicious and Beautiful Cakes!!

From the start, I didn't know what or how I wanted our wedding cakes to be, but I didn't know after the taste testing how delicious they would be. The team was so helpful in helping me build my dream cake, offering suggestions, and inspiration pictures throughout. They were able to match my exact vision. Our wedding cake was 3 tier multi flavor (raspberry, italian creme, and blackberry) with white lace fondant and our grooms cake was a rustic birch tree with chocolate fondant. Both were beautifully created! Bre was awesome to work with and always responsive to our every question! Will definitely be giving them our business in the future.

Beautiful and delicious cakes, easy to work with and responsive. I showd Bre different pictures with different elements I wanted incorporated, they did it exactly as I imagined. I didn’t think I wanted vanilla cake since that is so basic but their vanilla was so delicious that I had the base layer as vanilla and other two tiers were to different flavors. Don’t hesitate to hire them.

It was a wonderful experience working with 2tarts! They brought our vision for our wedding cake to life and it looked exactly like the picture that we showed them!! The flavors were out of this world, almost a month after our wedding we are still having our guests talk about how fabulous the cake was! Our geode cake was one of the absolute coolest things that we have ever seen and let me tell you... we were PROUD to show this puppy off at the reception. Not only did my husband and I lose our minds about this gorgeous cake on the day of the wedding, we were really happy with the customer service we received in the months leading up to the wedding. The 2Tarts team was on point with their timing, listened to all of our thoughts, and helped us to get exactly what we needed in terms of quantity. I felt strongly that they were on our team in making this the wedding that we truly wanted and that they weren't just selling us a cake. Oh, and yes, the cake was delicious. We had German Chocolate and Blackberry Almond. Vanilla cupcakes for the kids. Wouldn't change a thing.

My husband and I loved the cookies, cupcakes, and brownies 2 tarts made for our dessert bar at our wedding. Everything was delicious and we got tons of compliments from our guests. All we had to do was set up the dessert table and they set out all of the treats and it looked great!

Love love loved working with 2tarts. Rachel made the process so easy and everything turned out great! We decided on an assortment of mini pies, macarons, and mini cupcakes and all of the flavors were delicious! We also ordered a 3 tier cake that was a true work of art! It was beautiful layered fondant painted metallic bronze to copper to gold to pearly white ombre and turned out absolutely fantastic!

I absolutely loved working with Rachel and her team when I went to order my wedding cake. From the first tasting and the design process, she made it very easy and put my mind at ease as a new bride from what to expect and how the serving, scheduling and details would go. She worked great with my day-of coordinator and the flavors and final product were just what I was looking for, not to mention my guests enjoyed everything so much, we had people asking for seconds! I would definitely recommend them and use them again for future events.

2tarts went above and beyond my expectations. My husband and I gave them a picture for both my cake and his cake. The made our cakes even better than what the photos we gave them looked like. On top of all that, the cake was moist! There slice per guest ratio was pretty spot on.

OUR WEDDING CAKE WAS THE BEST!!! Not only was it gorgeous and exactly what I had envisioned looks wise, but it also tasted SO SO good! It was the best wedding cake I’ve ever had; and that’s saying a lot! I am a sweets fanatic and very picky when it comes to desserts! Our cake was red velvet and vanilla and both were delicious! The icing was incredible. Our guests were obsessed with it and every last piece was eaten! We also had german chocolate cake truffles and French macaroons, which were also gone by the end of the night! I am SO happy that we had 2tarts bake our wedding cake; it was everything we wanted and more!!

I could not be more impressed with 2tarts! Everyone there was so nice and willing to answer all kinds of questions over the phone and work with my schedule to get a tasting on the books. They also let us do a second tasting for a very small fee since my mother couldn't make it to the first one. They were even able to use a fabric swatch of my bridesmaid dresses to color match the fondant on our cake. Not only were the cake and cookies gorgeous on our wedding day, everyone commented that they were delicious! Several people told us or our parents that it was the best dessert table they had ever seen or tasted at a wedding.

2Tarts created 3 absolutely beautiful cakes for our wedding on 4/8/2017!! We made multiple adjustments to the flavors, sizes, and decor of the cakes throughout the 6 months leading up to the wedding, and 2Tarts was happy to do so. They were professional and incredibly creative. They made recommendations that made our dessert buffet look absolutely beautiful and cohesive. Certainly a 5-star organization!!

2Tarts did the cake and pies for our wedding this month, and it was all delicious! We got multiple comments from our guests about how delicious the cake was, and I agree! I even flew the leftovers to Maui so I could finish it on our honeymoon. If you choose them, you won't regret it. Their customer service is top notch as well!

2 Tarts Bakery had everything under control. My daughter wanted something different.....a cake at each table so they could go to each table and cut the first piece in order to see everyone.......Wow! this really worked and there were 4 different kinds of cakes plus a brides cake and a grooms cake.....all were moist and the latest naked cakes.....beautiful...the red velvet was a big hit!

There is absolutely no way you can go wrong with 2Tarts Bakery! We recieved many compliments on the taste, look, and design of our wedding day goodies. I have been going to 2Tarts ever since they opened their doors in 2010 and they never fail to exceed my expectations. In fact, I thought I'd seen it all until I used them for my wedding; I was blown away! These ladies are very good at what they do and it shows through their work. I like to think I go against the traditional way of doing things when it came to wedding planning... And so with that comes a not so traditional simply white cake! I will say I was worried if I described the cake I had envisioned clearly at the consultation with Brooke; gold glitter, coral with some sage colors here and there while keeping it elegant but whimsical and a bit rustic. Seems vague and confusing but they nailed it spot on and made it more beautiful than I had imagined. It's not often you find a bakery who has both excellent taste and design in their creations, they truly are one of kind. Throughout the planning process they were very flexible, responsive and helpful. I haven't been to or heard of a bakery that even compares to 2tarts customer service, creative talents or taste. If you're looking for guaranteed satisfaction... this is your vendor!

Our experience with 2tarts was awesome, start to finish! The tasting was so fun and the cakes turned out exactly how we imagined. Our only regret was not having someone save a slice of each flavor for us because it was gone so fast!

The whole process with 2Tarts Bakery was as easy as pie... Or should I say cake! We had a simple time setting up a cake tasting with Brooke, and knew immediately that this bakery was perfect! Every flavor of cake was so delicious, it was hard to decide! We ended up with an Italian Creme Wedding Cake and a Red Velvet Groom's cake, and our guests couldn't decide which one was better! Delivery of the cake to the reception venue was timely and they set everything up perfectly- all I had to do was leave my cake stand & topper for them! I showed Brooke a picture of a cake I loved, and my wedding cake looked EXACTLY like it. It was beautiful. Reasonable prices too! I would 100% recommend this vendor!

Brooke was so wonderful and helpful in making my wedding dream a reality. We ordered a variety of mini pies and one large wedding pie, and Brooke was very helpful in working through the numbers with me, even if they changed. We used 2tarts Bakery for the wedding cake and groom's cake at my daughter's wedding in July 2016. They were fantastic. The cakes were beautiful and delicious. The groom's cake represented his love of Dragon Ball Z, complete with a dragon wrapped around the cake. Our guests were very impressed. Highly recommend.

I planned by wedding from Corpus Christi and Brooke was so easy to work with. We had an initial phone call and talked about my ideas and then she sent me sketches and I knew exactly how my cakes would look. She's also very responsive through email, which was more convenient for me. The cakes were beautiful and tasted great too!

Was absolutely blown away with how gorgeous the cake was when we walked over for the cake cutting. After and during the reception we got continuous compliments about how amazing the cake was. 2tarts did a fantastic job and went above expectations.

I initially booked 2tarts because of their professionalism (which is what every bride needs). They are a fantastic vendor and across the board have all the qualities that a vendor should.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful the cake was for my wedding! We had a three layer bridal cake with buttercream icing, top layer was red velvet, center was carrot and third layer was Italian Creme...... YUMMMMMMM is all that I can say. The cake was so moist and full of flavor. We did not have any left over and that should say a lot seeing that usually there is plenty of cake leftover. The groom's cake was chocolate with oreo creme filling, oreo frosting and top with chocolate ganache dripping. Brooke was amazing to work with and everything turned out so wonderful!

Brooke Treadwell made our consultation so easy! She is such a sweet person and very talented artist. The cakes here are absolutely AMAZING! My cake is 3 layers with Italian Creme, Red Velvet and Carrot Cake because just could not choose, so we went with all three :) She also drew up an amazing groom's cake that I am sure my fiancee is going to LOVE. I cannot say enough good things about this bakery. AMAZING. They do beautiful work that tastes delicious! They made our wedding cake and grooms pies for our wedding day and everything was perfect. They even let us create a custom pie for my husbands grooms pie station using Ranger Creek Bourbon. It was a hit! I knew I did not have to stress about the desserts on the actual wedding day. I have witnessed some weddings where the delivery is late, not what expected and so on. I knew I did not have to worry a bit! Once I saw the cakes and pies in the ballroom, they looked absolutely stunning. Everyone at 2tarts is extremely dependable and fulfilled all of my expectations. Seriously the best cake I've ever had!! Several of my guests said the same. She did a ruffle cake with buttercream icing that was perfection, chocolate chip cookie sandwiches, homemade hostess cupcakes, tres leeches cake, and cobbler that were all INCREDIBLE!! I can't say enough positive things about this vendor! The cake was fabulous. The owner/ decorator was friendly and helpful. Serviced were EXACTLY as described. Delivery was timely. When I went for my tasting, the groom was unavailable due to a scheduling mix up. Not only did they send me home with samples that would potentially be ordered for the wedding cake, they sent me home with two extra cupcakes in his favorite flavor just for fun. These little kindnesses go a long way. I will use them again.

My dessert table was such a hit. I had macaroons, truffles, mini cupcakes and cookies. The first round was gone before the dinner buffet line had died. Once the word got out about how amazing the Nutella and Milk & honey french macaroons were, it was a race to see who could get their hands on them. Not only did the desserts taste good, but they looked just as good.

These ladies. After the divinely beautiful wedding cake and custom cupcakes we will not buy our desserts anywhere else. Their prices were great, and they set up such a beautiful display!

They really listened to our wishes and gave us what we wanted, and then some! After our tasting we had 4 other weddings before ours and just couldn't believe how we ever survived before discovering the deliciousness that they create.

We live almost an hour from their store but will make special trips just for their treats. Thank you ladies for being a part of our special day!

Our experience with 2Tarts was exceptional! I had 3 weeks to plan my sisters wedding & we needed a simple but elegant wedding cake to feed 50 people. I had been to 2Tarts before & had always loved their cake. I also had other brides that I have worked with, order their wedding cake through them & the cake was always "the talk of the wedding". Reba sat down with us at the tasting & helped us choose a perfect cake for the occasion! On the wedding day, everything went according to plan & the cake looked gorgeous & tasted awesome!! Everyone raved at how great it was & it was truly the "icing on the cake" for the whole day :) I love working with 2Tarts on weddings & even just going in for a treat every now & then! My wife and I were thoroughly impressed, appreciative and thankful for all that 2tarts did for our wedding. We could not have been happier and would recommend them hands down for your wedding.

On top of doing a Superb job last year, they continued to impress this year. Our wedding cake was demolished by our guests and we had since moved to Maryland following our careers. My wife was a bit bummed that we would have no top cake for our anniversary - so I plotted with 2tarts to recreate and ship 1300 miles the top layer of our cake.

The job was flawless and the cake was perfect - it made my wife so happy. These ladies work very hard at providing you with the very best service and truly do take pride in your happiness as a client. Do yourself a favor and go visit them today!

The girls at 2tarts are so wonderful and creative. We had no clue what we wanted from our wedding cake and they were able to help us come up with a great unique cake that no one has ever had. They also did our Dessert Bar. The desserts were custom to what we wanted and they were perfect! They made us cookies that we had found at a cookie store and couldn't find anywhere else. We were very pleased with the quality and the value. April was a pleasure to work with. Our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, and we already placed another order for tarts. We used 2tarts Bakery for our wedding and they were great! We did an assortment of cupcakes and a small cake. All the flavors were delicious and the presentation was beautiful.

I am so happy to have found 2Tarts and Rachel for my wedding cake. It was hands down the best cake we tasted while making our decision, so moist and great flavor options. You can choose from their standard flavors or their "wedding only" flavors including the crowd favorite Blackberry Almond Buttercream. We were able to get a 3 tier cake with every tier a different flavor. They also have a good selection of cake stands which you can rent and we chose one that went very well with our venue. I also thought the price was on par with what I would expect for a wedding cake.

If you like dessert bars, go with 2tarts. If you love really good variety of dessert, go with 2tarts. If you like not worrying about anything the day of your wedding when it comes to dessert because they handle everything, including decorating the dessert table if you want: GO WITH 2TARTS. Y'all seriously, I'm so happy we chose them to cater the dessert. They are so creative, professional, responsive, timely, delicious and much more!

My wedding cake looked beautiful!!! But the best part was that the beauty outside matched the deliciousness!!!! My cake was special- it was banana cake - and everyone loved it !!! So glad I get the came topper because my entire cake was gone!!

Wonderful wedding cakes

2Tarts was one of the first vendors we hired. I hadn’t heard of them until my photographer mentioned them in an email. I found their Instagram page and knew we had to have them for our wedding. I set up a tasting with my mom and then-fiance, and we hired them immediately. We had a 3-tier Italian crème wedding cake and a 2-tier red velvet groom’s cake. The wedding cake was white and gold, pretty standard. The groom’s cake was designed to look like two weight-lifting plates (45 lbs and 25 lbs). They were both a hit at the wedding, in appearance and taste. We also were happy to have leftover cake; it tasted even better following the wedding. Booking them was super easy. Their standalone bakery is also very cute, and I highly recommend for cookies or other sweet treats.

Our cake looked great! We worked with Brooke who was awesome and listened to what we wanted which some of the other bakers/bakeries didn't. We wanted something different not a traditional white wedding cake with an initial on top, we wanted something original and they nailed it! The only thing was when we went to cut our cake, the bottom layer had red rosettes on it made from fondant and as soon as we cut it they all crumbled and fell off. But the cake itself tasted great. All of our guests enjoyed it!

2tarts did an awesome job on our wedding cake! The price was great and they let us dream up our own cake. It also tasted AMAZING. The only complaint we had was that the tinting on the cake was a little off, but at the end of the day it didn't matter! We had good cake and got married!

We had a small standard wedding cake, a fun shaped grooms cake and tons of tiny cupcakes. They were very easy to work with, provided suggestions on how to improve our ideas and could do more than we expected. We ended up with 7 different flavors of cakes and each one was extremely DELICIOUS!!!! Would totally recommend them to anyone looking for a bakery!

The cakes tasted wonderful! Initially it was hard to get a hold of them but seeing as I was out of town and working mainly through emails this is understandable.

Our cake turned out exactly the way I had hoped and tasted even better. They made use of the flowers we had left over to decorate our cake beautifully. Everything was exactly how I had hoped. The price was a little steep but the service was excellent and professional. I am very happy with the outcome.

2tarts did an AMAZING job on both of our cakes. The design/style of both cakes was incredible. I didn't get to taste my cake except for one small bite, so I'm not really sure if it was good or not (everyone says it was). I'll have to wait until our one year anniversary ;) I did have a few bites of the groom's cake after the reception and it was delicious! It was a vanilla cake with honey cinnamon buttercream. My only issue was that the groom's cake was a sheet cake in the shape of Texas. The panhandle part of the Texas shape had broken off, either en route or back at the bakery, and it looked like it was pieced together with some frosting. It ended up falling off (probably in part due to the temperature as well) again, but the cake still looked and tasted great!

April with 2Tarts was a joy to work with. I never saw her on the wedding day but she created a fantastic display for us! Everyone loved our three-tier cinnamon roll cake...however no one ever got to eat it! We didn't cut it until the end of the wedding and by then it had been out for about five hours and was a tad hard. However EVERYONE loved our chocolate chip cookies...they were all gone before we even saw them! The only reason I ranked value low was because we had a ton of leftovers...but that's really our fault for ordering so much. Thanks, April!
