The best in Columbus!

Brian was our photographer for our engagement session and wedding day! His talent and wittiness really helped my husband and I in front of the camera. With him you don't have to worry about a thing.

Best Wedding Photographer

My husband and I are so glad that we chose Brian as our wedding photographer! He truly captured the emotions of the event. We weren't sure if we needed a videographer, but trusted Brian to capture the movement with each photograph. He did an AMAZING job!! Brian has been the wedding photographer for two of my husband's cousins' weddings and he always delivers breath-taking photos. We received so many photos from the day and they are all our favorites! We are couple who doesn't typically take photos and he perfectly captured our personalities and authentic smiles. Brian is worth every penny and our photos will last a lifetime!

Loads of fun

We had a last-minute COVID backup wedding , and contacted Brian with short notice. He was friendly, accommodating, and put up with our shenanigans throughout the day and photo shoot! They turned out beautiful, and he did a great job capturing the light hearted mood for the day. He was a more of a go-with-the-flow photographer, letting us decide what to do for the most part once he found a spot. Highly recommend!

We worked with Brian at 222 photography for our wedding back in May. He was amazing to work with, super creative in the positions or shots that he took. He was very accommodating to different schedules and ideas that both I and my bride wanted. I would absolutely highly recommend him, he was fantastic!

Absolutely blissful

I have been in weddings where they pose the bride and groom along with everyone they snap a picture of. I am pleased to say Logan and I didn’t have that experience at all. If you are looking for real moments captured, these are your people! Brian did such a great job fading into the background and capturing our love along with the fun. I think every picture someone has a huge genuine smile plastered on their face. Plus the artist view he brought in each shot was exceptional.

Brian took our engagement pictures and did a superb job! We could not be happier with how they turned out, so we invited Brian & Maria to do our wedding in St Lucia. Brian & Maria could not have been more accommodating. They fixed hair, tied shoes, provided drinks, helped with clothes changes, and took spectacular photos. They were very flexible with everything and found multiple locations for our 'Trash the Dress' shoot. They made all of our photo sessions a pleasant experience as they are friendly, fun, and professional. Thank you both for the wonderful experiences!

Brian and Maria are absolutely amazing! Their dedication, passion, and attention to detail was more than we could have ever asked for. They were there from the early morning to late in the evening, and even stayed past our agreed upon time so that we could get some pretty remarkable sparkler pictures (see in post). When we received our pictures back (within 3 weeks!), we were so excited! The pictures captured many different perspectives and showed moments of the day that we weren’t able to see. Not only did they leave a lasting impression on us, but our friends and family loved them too!

My wife and I got married a little more than a month ago and used Brian and he was amazing. We also used him for our engagement session. Brian makes us feel so comfortable during our sessions its almost like we aren't even being photographed. He is truly amazing wth a camera and the photos are amazing. I don't have enough good words for Brian.

222 Photography is seriously the BEST. My husband and I used Brian for our engagement photos and instantly fell in love; not only with the ART he creates, but him, as a person. He is so laid back and really has an eye for capturing the perfect moment. It is very easy to get a great picture when you just have to "be yourself" and don't have to worry about those stuffy poses that everyone does. Our wedding day was definitely enriched by having them with us; from getting ready, to figuring out a first look where we did not see each other, to just capturing memories. I would recommend 222 Photography to ANYONE that needs a photographer. We'll be using them for the rest of our lives, to capture our important moments. :)

Brian and Maria are awesome and produce amazing work!! When my wife and I came across 222 Photography and their work while looking for our wedding photographer, it easily and immediately went to the top of the list. Brian and Maria captured our wedding and engagement photos, and we don’t regret it for one second! Since the day we met for coffee, Brian was super down-to-earth, vibrant, and caring. I was so relieved and excited at that point because he lets you know you’re in good hands. When he teamed up with his wife on our wedding day, it was like butter. We are incredibly happy with the quality and details of our photos and all the emotions that were captured. We’re still waiting on our high res pictures but can’t wait to fill our house with Brian’s artwork. I would recommend them to anybody I have a chance to!

Brian has an impeccable eye, an engaging personality, an enormous passion for what he does, and he's not bad with a camera too. You put all that together, and you've got yourself one of the best (wedding) photographers in Columbus. I booked both Brian and his wife, Maria, for our wedding because having a lot of memories was important for me and because I felt we had a decent size wedding, even though adding Maria was a bit out of our budget. I couldn't turn myself away from 222 because Brian's work is downright beautiful. During our engagement session in 20 deg weather, Brian was accommodating, spontaneous, and vibrant. And our photos proved that we chose the right guy. I saw his photo posts on Facebook over the course of the year, I can only conclude that Brian was and is getting better (and more popular) by the day. He was ripe for our wedding, and the pictures turned out nothing less than stunning. He finds those perfect lines and details that make your photos one of a kind. There were a couple shots that we expected to be in the album but weren't, and that made me frown..but I can understand if the shot wasn't there or if it came out bad. Brian creates art, and he has a high standard when it comes to his work. He's very flexible, but he's also a very wanted guy..so book him quickly!

Brian and Maria were absolutely fabulous to have document our wedding day. Both are so easy going and fun to be around. My fiancé (now husband) and I asked for their availability before we booked our venue, because we knew we wanted them to be our photographers (Brian had shot our proposal, and we loved our time with him as well as the photographs he took!) Brian and Maria captured all the important moments of our day, which is so wonderful to have now because the day really was such a blur. All of our family said that the photos looked like they could be in a wedding magazine; they have an eye for knowing how to make you look your very best. Maria was also very helpful on the wedding day, helping pin up some loose hairs, grabbing my flats to give my feet a rest, as well as my make-up for touch-ups.
Ladies, if you are looking for someone to do a boudoir shoot, Brian does wonderful work. He was very professional and encouraging throughout the entire shoot, as I had never done anything like this before. The pictures were extremely classy and sophisticated, my husband loved them.
We would love to work with Brian and Maria again in the future, and definitely recommend their talents to anyone looking for top-notch wedding photographers.

Huge shout out to Brian and Maria for doing such a fabulous job with our wedding! No other photographer compares to the passion and creativity of them! We had our engagement pictures done with Brian as well. Everything was spectacular! He operates at such a high energy level and adapts so well with the mood and scene. My wife and I must have looked at 15 different photographers before deciding on 222 Photography, and we certainly did not regret it. Brian photographed our engagement session and wedding day. My wife and I recently got married and picking a photographer was tough because her dad and brother have been photographing as a hobby for many years. With that being said, we couldn't be more pleased with how our pictures turned out; for engagement AND wedding. Brian and Maria are so much fun to work with. Well, of course they nailed it again. When I got the photos I had to pull myself away so I wouldn't spend my entire workday looking through them. Then I looked at them on my lunch and spent the better half an hour lunch sobbing at my kitchen table wanting to re live the day over and over again. My parents are IN LOVE with the photos and everyone I sent the link to is raving about their work. They pictured everything we wanted and I loved seeing parts of the day that I never knew happened. Brian and Maria got this wonderful group of photos of us simply enjoying the day, it is just incredible. Just so damn happy!:) I wish they were more like my bankers or insurance agents so we could work with them more than once (see, I don't plan on getting married again...) but alas, they are just the best photogs and I'll just have to knocked up to work with them again! #maternitypictures

My wife and I are incredibly grateful to have found 222 Photography. The owners, Brian and Maria, documented our wedding day in vivid, stunning detail. 222 Photography preserved the stories, colors and textures, the weather, the location, the people and the emotions from my wedding day in a way that I didn’t know was possible. The moments that Brian and Maria captured melt my heart on a daily basis and can instantly take me back to ‘the big day’.

Beyond the photographs, the 222 Photography duo was a pleasure to work with in each stage of the wedding experience. Brian and Maria are creative, efficient, knowledgeable, dedicated, flexible, kind, funny – they are the total package! Brian and Maria were the perfect addition to my low budget, high expectation, almost entirely-DIY wedding. Their wedding-related knowledge, guidance, scouting, and camera skills helped us pull it all off and take things to a whole new level.

Brian really wowed us from the beginning with his creativeness during our engagement shoot that we couldn't imagine having hired anyone else for our ceremony! His use of light & shadows is outstanding, and it really gave us a unique, fresh perspective to our wedding day. We were so lucky to have had Brian photograph my sister and new brother-in-law's wedding. From the first minute of meeting him, Brian felt like an old friend. A friend with amazing photo skills, unending energy, and infectious enthusiasm! Not only are the photos he took absolutely stunning, Brian captured who the bride and groom are and the joyous feelings felt by our family and friends. He even managed to make me not look ugly when I was fighting off tears during my reading! He was there with us for every moment, scoped out some spectacular settings at The Beverly Mansion, and worked tirelessly to photographically journal this very special day. Picking a photographer is a big deal for me. I am extremely critical and looking back, this was probably the hardest decision to make regarding my wedding. Even harder than picking my dress, cake or venues! It is so important to be able to look back on pictures and get the same feelings you had that day. Now days everyone uses a phone for taking pictures, but God forbid you lose your phone then what? Any who, I found 222 via theknot/referral made through another photographer. I set up an appointment with Brian and was impressed right away. 222 are very reasonably priced. No one else can beat the amount of pictures received in a package with such great quality work. Although we were thrilled with pricing, finding a photographer with great personality is most important. Brian stayed focused and excited the whole time and made that experience everything we were looking for!! I was so burnt out with wedding planning I almost said forget the engagement shoot, but after seeing his work I am so happy that we did it! I loved how great Brian got along with my guest and they all raved about how engaged he was and how awesome the pics turned out!
Guest of mine are already asking for 222's information for their own wedding. If I had to do it all over again I would definitely pick 222 for my special day! Looking back I would have liked a few more shots such as more pictures of the cake and shots of the venue prior to being occupied by guest. I would have liked full length pictures of the candy table, pictures of my guest and the food during cocktail hour and lastly I would have liked more guidance from the photographers during the bridal party pictures to allow for a uniform picture. Overall, I am beyond pleased with 222 services and would surely recommend then to anyone getting married. Thank you 222 for such a great job done as well as the awesome thank you gift!! The wood flash drive shows the unique creativity that I love in my pictures.

Brian from 222 did an exceptional job photographing our wedding as well as doing our engagement session. His style focuses on capturing the emotion and feeling of the event, as opposed to really staged prom-style pictures. Although he does do the whole family pictures and all that stuff that mom wants, the pictures really reflect the joy and fun of our day. 222's package included ALL day coverage of the wedding, so Brian came to my house early to hang out and get the guys getting ready before driving to go photo the girls getting ready, before the actual wedding. Really, he went above and beyond. Highly recommended, you won't regret going with 222!

We hired 222 Photography for our September wedding, and I couldn't be more pleased with our experience/pictures. We chose to get our engagment photos done as well, so we were able to work with Brian prior to the big day, allowing him to get a feel for us and vice versa. The pictures were so great, I had a tough time choosing which to use for our Save the Dates! For the wedding, we worked with Brian and Maria; they were both professional yet fun at the same time. They really took the time to understand what kind of shots we wanted to capture and ensured that all of our photo needs were being met. They both were able to work well with my large, high energy wedding party... which definitely was no easy task! They were also very flexible- we had time inbetween the ceremony and the reception, and they followed us to two different spots for pictures. 222 Photography did an amazing job documenting the day, from early in the morning until late at night. You can feel their passion for photography and creativity in their shots. Brian and Maria are easy going, very down to earth people, which made it even more enjoyable for us. I highly recommend them!

We hired Brian and his wife, Maria, for our wedding in May, and it was easily the best purchase/investment we made for our wedding. After reviewing many photographers in the Columbus area, it seemed like everyone was either 1) too expensive or 2) not talented. With Brian, you truly have a (very) reasonable photographer that is bursting with talent.

Before the wedding, I was impressed with them going out of their way to scope out the area we were getting married in (German Village) to find locations for our photos. It was great not having to direct where we should go, because they had already taken care of it. Their images the day of the wedding captured the full range of mood and emotions from our wedding day. From the pure joy to tears, every moment that they photographed will be a treasured memory for my husband and I. Brian and Maria were extremely flexible -- working around our last minute changes and rain showers that liked to pop up. They were also kind and professional throughout the day. I had read online about, "photo fatigue." The kind of thing that occurs when someone is taking your picture for a whole day telling you were to stand, pose, face, etc. I experienced NONE of that with these two. They fit in so well with our bridal party and family that they felt like part of the group. Also they were quick with giving us their photos after the wedding! The next day we had a sneak peak of a couple of their photos, one month later we had multiple high-resolution discs with all 900+ pictures and we were featured on their blog.

If you want high quality, photojournalistic style photos from people you enjoy being around on your wedding day, hire 222 photography.

Brian took really beautiful pictures of our wedding! We are very pleased with how they turned out and Brian was there to document the whole day. He was very flexible and was willing to do whatever we wanted. Brian knows a lot about proper lighting and scouted our location ahead of time so that there would be great pictures. I would definitely recommend Brian to take pictures for your wedding!

My husband and I were looking for a unique photographer for our wedding day. After finding 222 Photography's website, we met Brian for coffee and knew immediately that he was the perfect guy for the job! As we told him about our somewhat non-traditional plans, his enthusiasm won us over. We first did an engagement photo shoot with him, in downtown Columbus. Not only did we love the photos, but he was fun to work with too. It made us even more excited for him to shoot the wedding.

Brian and I kept in touch as wedding plans progressed and on our big day, our timeline ran smoothly. Although we had a tiny wedding, with only 12 of us total, he quickly became a part of our group. Furthermore, we are more than thrilled with our photos! Brian captures all of the genuine expressions and subtle moments that you hope to preserve on your happiest-of-all days.

Sure it may seem super cheesy to give someone a 5/5 (I'm usually a total scrooge when it comes to rating service) but I can honestly say that Brian's work at our wedding was a 5 star experience. My husband and I had run into some major trouble with previous photographers and reached out to Brian with only 4 weeks till the wedding hoping for a miracle. Brian certainly pulled through for us and not only maintained total professionalism, but also sincere excitement for our big day!

On the wedding day Brian did a wonderful job of being everywhere-- from the big moments to the small embraces. He really did a wonderful job. The pictures are a perfect combination of classic poses and artsy fun that we were hoping for. Couldn't have asked for a more wonderful experience and I can't say enough on his behalf, besides that you'd be crazy not to book him too!

We were really happy with Brian and 222 Photography. We initially met with him in person over coffee and things were just so easy. He's easy to be around and has a stress free demeanor but was very attentive to us and the details and management of our wedding day. He and and his wife photographed our wedding and the pair of them were an exceptional all around team; wonderful to spend so much time with during our wedding.

We would highly recommend Brian for any photography need you would have. He was extremely professional, personable and responsive. He went above and beyond to make our day memorable with the beautiful pictures he captured! He made us feel comfortable and relaxed. He arrived several hours prior to the ceremony to prepare and ensure he could capture the best angles and backgrounds for our wedding. We really had a wonderful experience with 222 from our initial meet through the delivery our final product. I knew that he was going to be the right fit for us, our personalities and our wedding experience from the beginning. Everything was done professionally, unobtrusively, beautifully and we couldn't have asked for a more pleasant relationship from a vendor! Brian and Maria did a great job on our wedding. They were so warm and fun and an absolute pleasure to have around. I felt like they were sincerely cheerleading and celebrating our marriage, not just our wedding. The night shots were the one offering that really drew us to hire them. They took tons of photos of the bride and groom and all the great detail shots you could hope for. We hope to remain friends with them.

I must have looked at 10 photographers and interviewed 5 before deciding on Brian Gluys, and we could not have been happier with our decision. For starters, Brian was incredibly transparent on cost and the service he offers. Brian's bundle flexibility allowed us to achieve our goal of managing the cost while achieving beautiful photos. He takes a "no frills" approach to the shoots or day, as well - meaning, if you have specific shots you want, he will get them, but he will also capture moments... the day -- and these are the photos we reflect most fondly on today. Brian has all of the technical ability to take the traditional shots, but it was his natural approach that we loved. He doesn't do a lot of photo shopping - which was fine with us - we wanted to look like us in our pictures. That said, our pictures were amazing, and I'm really not sure what he would have to edit! Brian was also a fun guy, and very easy to get along with. It was very easy to spend a lot of time with Brian. I have already recommended him to a number of friends and would do so to you, as well.
