We were very happy with our decision to go with Dwight for our Charlottesville wedding in June, 2024! The dance floor was popping the whole night and Dwight was awesome at reading the room and keeping the energy levels high (something we had specifically wanted!). Dwight's communication and responsiveness were excellent as well as his attention to detail. He was great to work with throughout the whole process and made us feel really comfortable that we were going to get the type of ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception we wanted (and he delivered!). We can't recommend him highly enough! -

Dwight was so much fun! Our guests are STILL raving about how excellent Dwight was as a DJ. He played perfect songs & read the room well. He was also very helpful in deciding what songs to use. Dwight was easy to communicate with and was very flexible. We 100% recommend him. I’d hire him again!

We had a few phone conversations with Chuck leading up to our wedding and then our wedding day was a dream come true. He absolutely nailed the vibe we were looking for. Everyone loved the music even as they were being seated for the ceremony, then cocktail hour and dinner vibes were perfect. Our dance floor? INSANE! He kept the party going and we didn't leave the dance floor until the night was over! Super friendly and professional! Highly recommend!!20 South Productions's reply:

Amazing DJ!
We booked our DJ, Dwight Ellis, through 20 South Productions. Dwight did a fantastic job and we were so lucky to have him at our wedding! He was extremely kind, reliable, and accommodating. He followed our requests with precision, played only the songs we had listed, and kept the dance floor packed all night! Dwight created an incredibly fun and carefree atmosphere, making the night absolutely perfect. We couldn't be happier with his work! -

We are still recovering from all the fun we had at our wedding!! John Garland was a great DJ and awesome MC. He was spot on with all of our announcements/speeches/toasts throughout the night. We provided John with a list of song requests for both the cocktail hour and reception. He played every single thing we wanted and helped to fill in the gaps as well while very clearly paying close attention to what kind of music we like based on our prior song requests. He totally nailed it and goes out of his way to create a special and fun night. Our dance floor stayed packed all night long and we can’t recommend John enough! Booking with John through 20 south was also very easy. Thank you John and Chris! -

We had a great experience booking our DJ through 20 South Productions! Chris provided us with all the information we needed to make the perfect decision for us on the DJ for our wedding. Our DJ, John Garland was absolutely amazing! He was professional, kind, and made sure the entire day's music went smoothly and without a hitch. John listened to all our requests and curated an amazing set of songs that kept all our guests on the dance floor the entire night! We cannot recommend John enough! -

Frank and team did a fabulous job at our wedding. Leading to the wedding, Frank was very responsive and answered our questions faster than anticipated which is always appreciated. The portal for music and planning was also super helpful. At the wedding, Frank and team played our music in such a great order while also inputting other music that fit our vibe and guests. It was such a fun time, and I keep hearing from our guests how great the DJs were. Fantastic time. Highly recommend, you won’t regret it!!! -

Through 20 South, we hired Mark Allen. He had everyone dancing throughout the night. We were very involved in picking the music for everything, and he was very accommodating. We never felt like we were stepping on his toes and in return felt like he listened to what we wanted. We have this one song from spotify that our friend group found ages ago that has turned into a running joke - it's 30 minute 'country club mix.' We asked Mark if he would play just a little bit of it and he did! Everyone loved all of the music and had a great time! -

Joy and Mike are the sweetest duo, the epitome of professional, and really know how to play to a crowd. They are the type of duo who can easily blend into background music or engage your crowd, depending on your preferences. 2 Wishes is the perfect band for us! -

Ethan Sent on 10/24/201020 South (Chris Munson) provided us with the Charlottesville Quartet (we actually had a trio to save money) during our ceremony. The Trio was beautiful and perfect. They were responsive and the music was gorgeous. The cost was low and made the ceremony my favorite part of the day.
