Julia did such a great job officiating our male/male wedding. We are so happy we found Julia as we were looking for someone who loves working with the LGBTQ community and could offer a non-religious ceremony. Julia met with us on multiple occasions to learn more about us as a couple, walk us through the entire wedding process, and answer all of our questions. We even let her know of a small change we were making to our ceremony when she arrived the day of, and she was able to weave that change expertly into her ceremony speech on short notice. We were very impressed with her professionalism and highly recommend hiring her as she was a pleasure to work with and wrote a beautiful speech for our ceremony. -

My husband and I hired Julia to be the officiant at our wedding this past October. Julia worked with us (in my opinion, we are very boring and kind of introverted people) to make our ceremony unique and exactly what we wanted. I originally found her information via a Google search. I read that she heads Ferndale pride and has done many different types of weddings with different people and that was exactly the type of person we wanted to officiate. It was important to us to have an officiant that was comfortable with a religion free, love centered ceremony, and someone whose humanistic values aligned with ours. We also wanted a hand fasting which went exactly as we had hoped! Julia came up with the most beautiful words and we had many people comment how great she was. She also mentioned mine and my husbands late grandparents and our furry dog baby, Artemis, who had just passed a few weeks prior and was supposed to be my pup of honor. Thank you, Julia, for helping us make forever memories! -

I don’t think we could have found a better officiant if we tried! Julia is great with communication, punctual, and an amazing writer! We did not want anything traditional, nothing religious or spiritual in our ceremony, and we did not want to write our own vows. When it came to our final meeting before the wedding, Julia asked some final questions about our relationship and what we meant to each other, she had great questions to get to know us as a couple. There were tears, laughter, and so many compliments on the ceremony! She was able to capture who we really are, our love and compassion, and our growth. She put it so beautifully into words and presented the ceremony perfectly. We loved our experience 1979 Productions LLC! We are amazed with the quality of service we received and will recommend using 1979 Productions LLC to any couple looking for a talented, passionate officiant! THANK YOU! -

Julia was an amazing officiant for our wedding! She took the time to get to know about us and our relationship to customize the ceremony to us and what we wanted. I appreciated her attention to detail and her willingness to drive to our location. She was personable, friendly, and professional with all of our guests. Highly recommend! -

Julia was flexible with us as we changed our wedding plans several times. She met with us over zoom twice. She was able to take a short meeting and turn it into the perfect ceremony for me and my partner. It felt so tailored to us. It worded us and our relationship so much better than I ever could have. It was perfect! It was raining outside during the ceremony and Julia rolled with it. -
