    Beautiful!!!

    After having to postpone their wedding in Maryland twice due to Covid, our daughter & her fiance decided to have a mini wedding in Eureka Springs with immediate family. With a month to plan a third wedding long distance, we reached out to the Crescent Hotel for the reception. From the first email, Jodie was wonderful to work with. She made the entire process of planning the reception & dinner so easy! The Hotel & Conservatory room are absolutely beautiful and the food was delicious. But what made the Crescent the best was their staff. They went above & beyond to accommodate the special needs we had with aging Grandparents. We didn't realize until the reception was over, the many special things they did to make everyone feel special and completely comfortable. Jodie & the staff at the Crescent Hotel were amazing & made our daughter's wedding incredibly special!!

    Wonderful to deal with

    So far through the wedding planning process, they have been wonderful to deal with. They are quick to answer any questions we may have.

    Beautiful Reception

    We had our reception in the conservatory and it was absolutely beautiful. Susan Dickson was amazing to work with and made sure everything was exactly what we wanted. We had so many compliments on our choice of venue and are so happy with how everything turned out.

    Perfect Place for a Wedding

    Our wedding experience at the Crescent Hotel was fantastic, despite a terrible thunderstorm and possible tornado on the day of! Jodie English Brown in sales was amazing to work with--she was on top of every detail every step of the way, provided personal attention throughout the planning, and is a warm, caring person who clearly wanted our wedding to be perfect (and it was!). I highly recommend the venue AND Ms. English Brown!

    The staff at the Crescent Hotel and Spa were wonderful. We used the beautiful conservatory room and could not have been happier with how everything turned out on our special day. The staff always bent over backward for us and our guests. They were also very quick to get back to us with any questions or concerns we had during the planning process. They handle so many weddings every year, so they really are experts.

    This review is really a review of the events coordinator at The Crescent Hotel, Sandy Schwade. I cannot say enough positive things about Sandy. She must have responded to 150 emails and phone calls from me and my family over the course of 5 months and she was always professional, accommodating, and efficient. When the wedding weekend finally came, she oversaw so many last minute details and kept me very calm. Everyone who had a chance to work with her - my parents, the groom, the best man, my aunts - raved about her kindness and effectiveness. The Crescent Hotel itself made a beautiful setting, although the Crystal Dining Room is not ventilated effectively enough to keep a crowd of 100 cool with dinner and dancing. The heat was oppressive and most guests found they had to keep retreating to the cooler patios. I do wish someone had been there to make the executive decision to open all the windows so there could have at least been some cross current. With catering, we did have a mix up and were given the wrong entree for the rehearsal dinner (very disappointing) and we had to send the oysters away at the reception but the rest of the food was fantastic. Even with those setbacks, we would definitely recommend the Crescent as a venue and HIGHLY RECOMMEND working with Sandy Schwade. She was a godsend!

    My bridal party and I got our hair and makeup done at the Crescent hotel's spa. We also rented the bridal room, to get ready in. Everyone was very nice and did such a wonderful job. I was pleased with the results. I would definitely reccomend this to other brides.

    This place is AMAZING! We are going back there for our one year anniversary. Everyone was so nice and helpful! And the cost of everything was VERY affordable. It was really a dream come true to have my wedding here. I HIGHLY recommend this place for everyone who wants their dream wedding at an affordable cost!! Two Thumbs Up!!

    Our food was fantastic! We had plated dinner of Chicken Marsales with asparagus and herbed potatoes. It was served quickly and looked and tasted amazing! :)

    I absolutely love this hotel and loved the Conservatory. I had my reception in the Conservatory and it was beautiful. Susan was wonderful in helping my plan and get all the details needed for the reception. The only issue I had was with the manager, or person over the wait staff. We were told that the room would be ready for decorating that AM, and it was not. This put a lot of added stress and became an issue for me and pushed back my time for photos. If this had not happened, I would have no negatives for this hotel. I loved my reception and everything else went wonderfully. I would recommend this hotel.

    Susan bent over backwards to make sure everything went over smoothly. We had our reception in the Conservatory Room and it turned out magical. However, it did not start out that way. On my first visit to see the Conservatory the floors (which are hardwood) were SEVERLY scratched up, they assured me that they would be redone by my event but upon my arrival....they were not. Thank goodness for dim lighting and my reception being at night...we were able to hide most of the flaws. \r\n\r\nOur guests were served a choice of Beef Filet or Chicken. I have eaten many beef filets and have never had such a poor cut of meat. We also had a full bar which the bartender ran well but cocktails were a bit pricey.

    I had everything planned to have my wedding at the Crescent Hotel. Just a week before the wedding, my mother in law decided we should have our wedding somewhere closer to home so I had to cancel. Good thing I didn't have to loose a deposit though. We're planning on getting remarried the way we wanted our first wedding to be here. It is a very beautiful place, just make sure to book at least a month in advance, especially in the spring/summer.

    As far as beauty goes, they did an awesome job on my hair and makeup. Ashley was her name. But it all depends on who you go to in the salon. Cause one of my bridesmaids hated her makeup. And my maid of honors hair looked just aweful. Just make sure you get a test done first. When it came to trying to get ahold of sandy our wedding cordinator it took awhile. she never answered her phone. the place that we had our wedding was very beautiful and so was the reception hall. the only problem we had was that they charged us for 4 hours in the reception hall but we only needed 2. so they make you think your getting a good deal for the price but in the end its more time than you really need. they kept changing things up on us when it came to little rules. like at first we could use fake flowers then they said we couldnt. just little stuff like that. there was a few hidden costs that we didnt find out till later too. but all in all, our wedding turned out very nice. i just wish we would have went a cheaper way. the food there on the other hand was amazing, just a little priced high.

    You get what you pay for, but for $1,500 venue fee, and $2,900 food, not including tax and gratuity for only 50 people, I would expect much, much more. The Crescent has such potential, but I don't feel it is reaching that potential. The appetizers weren't out there when my guests arrived while we were still taking pictures, the salad was late, so by now they were HUNGRY. Then once they brought out the cheese and cracker tray (late), salads were starting to come out...so no one needed the cheese anymore. I have tons of cheese in my fridge now, thanks. Since the food was late, that messed up my timeline, and we had to do the cake-cutting in-between salads and entrees. The cake-cutters didn't cut the portions properly, so an entire table didn't get cake. The chairs were wobbly, the dishes could've been cleaner. It was a mess! The guests were all very understanding about it, but that's not what I paid for. I was disappointed.

    I spent my wedding morning in their salon getting hair and makeup done. they did a decent job for the money. I wasn't happy with my makeup or the lady who was doing it. Nothing really set them apart from any other salon in town.

    I had my wedding there a few weekends ago & other than the hotel being unique & the grounds being a beautiful place for weddings, there's nothing exceptional about it. The reservation staff is a joke. They gave my guest a hard time about reserving a room for one night for my wedding & also charged my credit card a large amount of money with no explanation or anyone to help me & the GM for the hotel didn't even have the courtesy to ever return my phones calls. Found out later when the staff screwed up the reservations for some of the wedding guest, they also got the credits cards mixed up as well & charged us for a room that should have been charged to another guest. Nobody there actually has an idea what was actually going on in the hotel. I was staying in the Governor Suite the night before my wedding & was inconvenienced until midnight because a live band playing in the Conservatory which is right in front of the suite & the only thing separating the two rooms are glass windows. When I went to the front desk to let them know of the issue they told me there was nothing they could do about it. Also, there is a huge breakdown in communication at that hotel as a whole & with their vendors! We had to track down our flowers because no one told us they arrived & I had numerous of people who should have been informed prior to my event asking me questions & looking for payment on my wedding day after everything was settled months before with the hotel wedding coordinator. Even simple little things like the color of napkins got screwed up because the hotel used all the white napkins for their Sunday brunch leaving only black for my reception which was not in our agreement. My cake was not right, the appetizer went to waste because they were not placed out in time for the guest to see plus the presentation was not worth the $310 we paid. We do not ever plan on going back to the hotel for our own enjoyment, not even for our anniversaries.

    This was the most stressful part of all the planning. The reception site was beautiful given the hotels surrounding nature, however my manager/coordinator for The Crescent was Sandy Schwade whom was impossible to get ahold of and would schedule conf. calls that she would not follow through with as well as was not there during the event (nor was her manager who said would be). They left a young boy/the bartender in charge during the event and therefore nothing ran as scheduled. During the planning process as well they promised things and yet were not able to follow through with them. The room itself is beautiful but they lack professionalism, especially for the cost.
