Amazing work!

Finding our videographer was tough! I researched so many vendors in San Diego and none of them felt right. 10th Letter Media was a vendor for our friends’ wedding in Hawaii and when I looked more into their work.. I knew I found the one! It was SO worth making arrangements to have them at our wedding in March! Our same day edit played towards the end of the night and it gave us and all our guests chills! Their work is beautiful and they were able to capture all the special moments on our big day. They sent me a link the very next day, so we were able to relive the day over and over again ever since!

Super delayed review, but better late than never? :) My husband and I were fortunate enough to have worked with Julian last November for our wedding. From our initial contact with his wife, Addy, through the receipt of our final video package in the mail, Julian and his team completely blew us away.

Our big day took place at Lanikuhonua Cultural Institute on Oahu. It was clear from the outset that Julian and his crew had filmed there a gazillion times. They knew exactly where all the good spots were, took amazing shots of us, and also incorporated some stunning (and well-timed!) footage of our silhouettes at sunset, waves crashing against the shore, etc.

The crew was also really mindful of creating symmetry in the video. When my bridesmaids and I were on our way out of the bridal suite, we were on a tight schedule and debating whether we had time to do a quick champagne toast. One of Julian’s camera dudes commented that the groomsmen did a whiskey toast so it would be good if we did our champagne one. And so we did, and boy, did it look good on film when they cut the footage back to back!

Their skill was especially evident when they played our same day edit (SDE) at our reception for us and our guests. Within seconds of the SDE playing, my eyes started welling up with tears. They had done such a beautiful job of capturing the many emotions we were feeling that day that I couldn’t hold it in! We were already so impressed by their portfolio and knew their videos were amazing, but the end result was still so much more than we could’ve ever hoped for.

We got countless compliments from friends and family about how much they liked our SDE, how well it captured our special day, and how they were impressed by how fast Julian and his team worked. One of my bridesmaids loved their work so much that she asked Julian to come out to San Francisco to film her wedding this year, too!

We couldn’t have been luckier to have 10th Letter Media at our wedding. Our wedding planner recommended them and I liked their sample videos so much that I decided to book them right away. We were lucky enough to land their promotion, a free same day edit on top of our wedding package!

Two days before our wedding, Hurricane Lester was threatening to make landfall at our ceremony and my wedding planner (the amazing Carrie Lance) and I decided to move the wedding up by a day so that none of our guests would be hit by falling trees and flying tent poles. One of our biggest concerns was that Julian wouldn’t be able to make it to the ceremony, since he was based on a neighbor island. Lucky us, he had flown in early and would still be able to shoot us!

I met Julian the morning of the ceremony, and he was phenomenal. He gathered footage for the same day edit and worked amazingly well with our photographer (Stephen Ludwig) – it’s such a relief and a timesaver when photo and video work as a team. He filmed diligently throughout the ceremony and reception, getting some amazing bridal party and sunset shots at Lanikuhonua, and it all came together with the most unbelievably perfect same day edit. It captured our big day perfectly and we’re sharing it with all our friends and family until the full video and photos arrive. Book 10th Letter Media and you won’t regret it!

We were referred to 10LM by our family in Kauai. After receiving our beautiful engagement photos it was a no brainer that we would also use them for videography/photography on our big day! Leading up to our wedding Addy Gilliam was ALWAYS responsive to any questions or concerns I had. She would even go above and beyond by attaching helpful links to make my life as a bride easier. Booking was well-organized and quick and as our day got closer Addy made sure to keep me in the loop with all the important details.

Julian Gilliam brought in a fantastic 4 team to capture every minute of our wedding. Katelyn, Michael, Ricardo, and Julian did an amazing job at working around all the chaos while I was getting ready. They were all calm and focused which helped ease my nerves. I didn't realize how many beautiful moments were captured until we viewed our SDE at the reception. Julian created an unforgettable production of our wedding prep and ceremony. I'm so lucky that I will have this keepsake forever. Investing in a quality videography/photography company was number 1 on my list. I'm so happy that we chose 10LM! I can't wait to see the rest of their amazing work!

We hired 10th Letter Media for videography and photo booth services. No regrets of hiring them, we absolutely loved our SDE that we immediately shared it with our loved ones and we are looking forward to our wedding video.

With planning a destination wedding we didn't have the privilege of sitting down with all our vendors and were afraid of any possible differences. But very happy to say that we loved working with 10th Letter Media. An even greater bonus was that my husband went to high school with Derrick who assisted Julian on our big day, so it made capturing the big day a lot easier than I expected.

We did a lot of the communication leading up to the big day with Addy and we were glad to have finally met her although it was for a short moment. She was very understanding and patient with us through the entire process.

Trust your videographers on whatever they say to do for them (EX: walk slowly towards the camera, kiss, etc.) because it may seem weird BUT when they put their videos together it'll come out great!!! Basically I just want all future couples to know is to trust your videographers. 10th letter was great.. They do a good job in what they do and I highly highly recommend them!!!

We hired 10th letter media for our wedding videography and we are soo happy we did! They were so easy to work with and always helpful and quick to reply whenever we had any questions. I would definetly recommend a same day edit video for showing at your reception as you'll be amazed by what they put together in just couple of hours! 10th letter media met beyond our expectations and more and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for quality video services! Julian and Addy are a well organized, warm, and professional husband and wife dream team for videography. Addy is very organized and replied within the day of my emails (if not within a couple of hours). Julian is a very experience videographer and offered us great suggestions during our video chat in the planning stages. He and his second shooter (I can't remember the man's name) came promptly on the day of my wedding and efficiently got their shots setup. The video made us and our guests look natural and like ourselves, but more polished. I was worried about looking fat in my strapless dress, but that did not happen at all. The volume was well balanced on the soundtrack and even the quieter moments were picked up flawlessly on a slightly windy, overcast day. Julian and Addy also were flexible to extend the shoot when a couple months before the wedding my mom told me that she really wanted to have the entire wedding on video.
BOTTOM LINE: Wedding videos are in general quite expensive. 10th Letter Media offer a high quality service at a competitive price. I recommend to book 10th Letter Media while still available for your event!

At first my wife and I were undecided on having a videographer for our wedding. We did tons of research and watched many different videos from other companies, and while they were nice, nothing really stood out to us as something we HAD to have. We had almost decided to pass and use the money for something else... and then we discovered 10th Letter Media. It was love at first sight. We knew we had to have them for our big day and thankfully they were available. There is something so fresh and fun about their videos. Upbeat, heartfelt, and amazingly beautiful, our video is something that we will cherish forever. Julian is talented beyond words and Addy is an absolute pleasure to work with. Together they make a great team and were true professionals throughout the entire process.

I love Julian. He is very professional and really sweet. Addy is also one of the more intelligent and diligent people we've worked with throughout our wedding planning. Where do I start? At first, we didn't want to get a videographer because it was out of our budget. As we started working with Carrie from Cherished in Hawaii Weddings, she mentioned 10LM, saying she had seen many same day edits in her career as a wedding coordinator, and that 10LM was hands down the best she had ever seen. Typically, those types of claims are taken with a grain of salt, but in this case, her claims were a bit of an understatement.

10LM is ridiculously talented, and can turn out a SDE like nobody's business. It's a good thing we presented our slideshow beforehand. While we got claps for our effort, after 10LM's SDE was presented, there was nothing but cheers, clapping, yelling and screaming. Almost a month later, we are still getting HUGE compliments on our video and kudos on choosing such an awesome videographer.

Thank you 10LM for being such a pleasure to work with, and thank you for capturing our day so perfectly. We're so glad that we decided to get a videographer to capture our day, and we're even happier that we were able to book you for our event. Take our word for it, you WILL NOT be disappointed with it. Definitely money well spent. Thanks again for the perfect SDE to wrap up our special day. You guys rock!

We were so lucky to have somehow stumbled across 10th letter when we were planning our wedding and it was one of the best decisions we've made for our wedding.

My family is very photography/videograpahy based so the first two vendors I booked were photographers and videographers to secure the best ones for my wedding. I'm very critical when it comes to those two things so when I saw their work, I was so pleased with what I saw and I was very happy with their rate.

Addy was very professional and responsive. And Julian and his team were amazing on our wedding day. They were very professional and they captured a lot of special moments without interrupting us. All of this was great for me but what blew me away was the final product. We whole heartedly trusted them with the video by letting them pick our music and everything. We only gave them an idea of what we wanted and they did a phenomenal job. The quality of their work is by far the best I've seen. And they made the video super special for us by making a main feature (over 11 minutes long) of our wedding, even though I think we were supposed to only get the highlight (only ~5 minutes long, the package changed by the time we booked them).

We absolutely loveee our videos, we still watch it every day!! And we also ordered the HD version of everything. I HIGHLY recommend 10th Letter.

10TH LETTER MEDIA was the best investment of our wedding!!! We were so excited to get our highlight video!

We had a fairly small destination wedding so opted for the ‘love birds’ package – a perfect way to document the day! Derek and Kyle captured the ceremony and portrait session amazingly! 10TH LETTER MEDIA did an excellent job of telling our story and capturing every detail of our wedding ceremony. Guests who couldn't make it Hawaii felt like they were there and could still be a part of our day.

Addy is so organized with everything; the process was so stress-free. 10TH LETTER MEDIA truly is the PERFECT VENDOR!

Hands down #1 wedding videography company! We decided to go with 10th Letter Media and selected their "Happy Couple" package. The package includes all day video coverage, a same day edit, and a DVD to include the full ceremony and reception.

When we filled out the final checklist/questionnaire that Addy sent to us there was a question regarding music for the same day edit. After thinking of hundreds of possible songs, we decided to just let 10LM choose. When the same day edit played on our wedding day for the first time, we were so BEYOND impressed. The songs they selected matched perfectly. After the wedding I only heard compliments about our SDE video. I thought people would comment about the food, centerpieces, or linen, but the ONLY comments I kept hearing was about our videographer. 10LM really knocked it out of the park and we were so happy and thankful they were available for our special day!

This company is amazing, when we booked them I could not wait for my wedding day just to have them video it! I could not stop watching other peoples wedding videos before my big day, and when my own video arrived they did not dissapoint. WOW! We are SOOOOOO unbelievably happy with our video! Not only did it arrive earlier than we expected but it's even better and more special than we could have imagined. We stayed up way past our bedtime when we received it watching the whole thing. They really captured the mood and feeling of the day and the most special moments. We definitely a few tears squeezed out watching it!

They were friendly and flexible to work with and made sure we got all the important shots which we're really grateful for.

We're so glad we went for the video guest book - we'll cherish it and get some good laughs in a few years! The packaging is also really cute and you'll even love looking at that.

Addy and Julian made this process so simple and the end result was absolute perfection!!!! When my husband and I watched our 10th Letter Media video we were awe struck! We both LOVED every single moment! There was not even one second that we weren't 'fond of'. We've already watched it over 10 times (and have only had it a few days... lol)

From the beautiful packaging, music choices, and pristine editing, to the smallest touches of capturing the little moments from our day that we had already forgotten! Choosing 10th Letter Media as our videographer was one of the best investments we have ever made. Addy was very professional and responsive to our questions, from start to finish. Julian and his assistant were so nice and easy to work with on our wedding day. Our wedding video is so, so, beautiful!! Our main feature video was every bit as wonderful as we had hoped it would be...everything from the special moments highlighted, to the camera angles, gorgeous light, attention to details, music, and the seamless transitions were ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!! Addy, Julian, and the team were fantastic to work with! We knew that we couldn't go wrong with 10th Letter and we were spot on. Julian had such a calming presence. He made us feel so comfortable through the entire day which is amazingly hard to do while there are cameras surrounding your every move. The team was so incredibly nice and professional too. Even our wedding party commented on how great they were and how we almost forgot that they were around because they were so seamless when it came to blending in to capture the moments. The Same Day Edit that was played at our reception made such a lasting impression on our guests. Our friends and family still talk about how awesome it was! Our only regret is that we didn't get a real chance to take a moment and chat with Julian and the team in the midst of all the craziness to tell them how much we appreciated all of their work that day. 10th Letter will be the first vendor we recommend if any of our friends and family decide to get married in HI. 10th Letter Media was just amazing to work with. The "planning" portion of everything went very smoothly. We were corresponding with Addy, and she answered our questions very thoroughly and promptly. Once we seen all of their Same Day Edits of other weddings, we really fell in love! They're so organized with everything. I love how they had a fill out a questionnaire before the wedding. I think this really helps define what we were interested in.

The day of the wedding was also perfect and went so smoothly. Julian and his assistants worked hand in hand with our photographer. We are not so much "camera people" but really wanted our special day captured. They made things very comfortable that day. We had a specific theme, and they were able to really capture what we were looking for. They were also able to incorporate the songs we wanted for our Same Day Edit and all of our friends and family loved it.

We can't wait to get the final video! 10th Letter Media really helped us capture our special day perfectly. We can't thank them enough!

We were looking to add a special touch to our wedding, and thought a video would be a fun way to entertain our guests. A friend of ours happened upon the website for 10th Letter Media. We viewed one of their Love Story videos and immediately knew my fiancee and I needed to book them!

Addy helped us get scheduled on very short notice. Her husband Julian was flew over to Maui to film us - he was so patient and really put us at ease. The video was perfect - the result was so professional and had a unique touch to it. It was not like any wedding video I've seen. Totally recommend 10th Letter Media to any couple!

We signed on with 10th Letter to provide our videography services and am so glad that we did! They did our video for the day of the wedding, and from beginning to end, their crew was professional, easy to work with and just blended in with everybody. However, we also hired them to do a "Love Story" video to be shown during the reception instead of the usual slideshow. Julian came with us to shoot video during our engagement photo shoot, as well as the place where we got engaged. Then he shot video interviews on another date of us and our friends telling the story of how "our story". We wanted to be suprised so waited till the reception to see what he did, and the video was AMAZING!!!! His editing and way of tying everything together can not be beat! The whole party loved it!! We still watch it to this day and am amazed. Overall it was so easy to work with them and their quality of work is outstanding. We would HIGHLY recommend them. Use them... use them now!

I usually don't spend the time to write reviews but I felt that the service of 10LM was so good, I had to write something to let other couples know how great they are.

Being from NY, we have high expectations for services, but we can say that Julian and Addy at 10th Letter Media were excellent! Out of all the vendors we had for our wedding, we were most impressed with them. On the wedding day, they arrived on time as scheduled. His team came with SLR looking cameras and not those huge intimidating video cameras. It looked like they were photographers instead of videographers which made me a little more comfortable being filmed. They filmed throughout the day and we didn't even notice them, which is EXACTLY what you want on your wedding. Then at the end of the night, they quietly left.

So our wedding was in Hawaii but we also had a reception in NY 3 months after. Normally it takes about 4 months for the video but because we really really wanted to show the video during our NY wedding Julian somehow managed to have the DVD for us in time. The team is also really good at keeping you updated about the progress of the video. A month or two in, they send you a detailed timeline explaining where your video is and what that process entails.

Now here is the best part, the part you wait months for (but it seems like forever). THE FINISHED VIDEO WAS AMAZING! Not only did it come early for us, but it came wrapped in a pretty little package and DVD case. Then we watched the main feature with our family. EVERYONE LOVED IT!! the 10LM team captured the beauty of our wedding and so many little details of the day that we missed during all the wedding craziness. The feature was romantic and still fun, capturing us as a couple exactly. My family even said that the video was way better than what they expected. The video was so good that we even asked them to send us more (although not sure if that's even possible :) ).

Julian is a very talented videographer and story teller. We definitely reccomend him and his team to any couple looking for a videographer. Just watch the videos on the 10LM and you will see his wonderful work.

These guys were awesome! We booked them after checking out their blog and website and completely loving their style - very fun and upbeat and not corny or sentimental like we find some wedding videos to be. And now that we have a video, we couldn't imagine not having one done. We have only seen our highlights and not the full video but am very confident in their work and we love the highlights. Technically speaking, their angles/lighting etc is perfect as well. They were really fun and chilled out guys to have around on the day. We only wish we had paid for the package that would have them stay for longer!!! We got married on Maui and paid for them to fly over from Oahu - they are that good! Strongly, strongly recommended.

When I had found 10th Letter Media via Google search, I was relieved. The night I came across Julian and Addy's web site I was searching for 3 hours. Julian and Addy were very helpful, responsive and affordable. Not to mention, I absolutely love Julian's work and cannot wait until we get the final video. Julian and Addy makes sure to take care of their clients. On the day of our engagement photo session with Bianca Photography, we asked him if he could shoot the video on that day. Julian was a trooper too. It rained at Makapuu and everything changed all of a sudden. When we decided to change locations, he drove back home to Hawaii Kai and out to Kailua High School to meet with us. He went above and beyond that day and we could not thank him more. Our wedding guests LOVED our slideshow because it was different. When I saw the slideshow prior to the wedding I almost cried because it was really good. I mean really good. I'd recommend 10th Letter Media to anyone that is getting married.

I really believe that having the right team of wedding vendors will take your wedding from great to friggin' spectacular and having the right wedding videographer will take the memories of your wedding from sweet to, "Wait, this was my wedding? Amazing!" Julian of 10th Letter Media captured our wedding so beautifully. He literally got us a short edited video 2 days after we got married. I don't know how he did this because there was 250G of footage! The wedding video he made for us captured the pure fun and joy in our day. We've gotten so many compliments on our wedding video, even from people who don't know us but have just stumbled upon it on Vimeo. Our friends, even the boys, have confessed they've watched it more than once.

Finding a videographer was one of the last things on our list, and we weren't sure if we even had the budget for it but it was truly worth the money. Having only photos is just not the same as having a video of your big day. I was a very budget conscious bride, but it's totally worth it!

Julian and Addy are true artists, and after reviewing dozens and dozens of wedding videographers before them, we know they are some of the best in the business. They will make your wedding memories absolutely spectacular. We feel so blessed that they were willing to make the trip out to California from Hawaii to be part of our big day!

I'm the other half of "Juliet & Lei" (Lei).. My wife, Juliet, pretty much summed it up.. Julian & his wife, Addy, are soo cool.. And it shows through the videos.. Julian was very open to our ideas.. The one thing that struck me about 10th Letter Media's work was the flawless editing & pacing.. Very, very well done.. Our family & friends were absolutely BLOWN away by both the Couple (Engagement) video & the same day edit, which were shown @ the reception.. We both can't stop watching the videos.. I'm just sorry that Julian had to put up with my bad jokes.. Sorry Julian.. lol..

We (Juliet & Lei) love our videos and we love 10th Letter Media!!! We initially did not feel the need for a videographer at our wedding but immediately fell in love with their videos after finding their website using a Google search! We were totally blown away with Julian's work. The same-day edit video is what everyone was talking about that night...even now. Everyone had to know who our videographer was and how they could get him themselves. Working with Julian, Addy, and everyone else from 10th Letter Media was such a pleasure. Addy always responded quickly. We love Julian & Philip and all of our guests loved them as well. They not only did an amazing job on our highlights video, they were extremely friendly and easygoing. Our AHR was last Saturday, the Saturday right when we returned, so I wanted a highlights video to show. I can't believe they finished our video so quickly and Julian even delivered the final copy to us at our hotel. We were able to play it at our AHR and everyone loved it. They are so creative and I really enjoy their work. He posted it in his blog. I definitely recommend them and I can't wait to see our full video!

We are so excited to write this review for 10th Letter Media. After my husband and I got engaged, a couple of friends suggested that we book a videographer. We were having a difficult time finding someone that we really liked until we met with Julian. We loved that he was so invested in making our video something special and unique to the two of us. Julian's work is absolutely amazing! Our slideshow was so good and our wedding video was just beautiful. We were so excited to see our final video and we could have never imagined that it would have turned out so great! We're just so happy and so grateful that we decided to go with 10th Letter Media. We could not be happier with having chosen 10th Letter Media as our wedding videographer. Addy was always very responsive to any of our emails and requests and Julian was an extreme pleasure to work with on our wedding day. Our finished highlight video of our wedding in Kauai turned out amazing and our friends and family couldn't stop raving about it at our wedding reception. It was simply amazing and all or our requests were included in our video! Julian really knows how to capture the moment and is extremely talented at editing and his craft.

We can't just say enough about how nice it was to have worked with Julian. He definitely went the extra mileage for us in capturing maximum footage for us and never once complained about it taking too long. He was very responsive to any additional requests on the day of our wedding and genuinely cared about capturing/producing the best possible video for us and not about watching the clock (like other vendors can).

We would highly recommend 10th Letter Media to anyone! What do you look for in a vendor? Great communication and responsiveness, competitive pricing and good value, someone who is talented, can produce a premium product, can meet deadlines, listens to their client and shows flexibility, and finally someone who is easy to work with and genuinely cares about creating the best possible product for you. 10th Letter Media met or exceeded our expectations with regards to all of these, what more can we say?

Living in CA I did A LOT of research to have our wedding in HI, and no matter how many videographers we sifted through, we kept coming back to Julian & Addys site @ 10LM. Their videos were so fun, unique and really seemed to capture the couples dynamic. While comparing them to some of the other works online - the choice was very simple.
We could not be happier with our choice or the end result! They were extremely professional, quick to respond, flexible with our needs and capabilities, and provided a truly beautiful video that we have received so many complements on.
We would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone.

Julian was wonderful to work with. We were actually connected to him through our wedding coordinator. We trusted our coordinator completely, but we were still afraid to get our hopes up too high about the final product.
We met Julian from 10th Letter Media for the first time on our wedding day. He was professional, unobtrusive, and clearly had a good eye and fresh ideas.
When we received the teaser for our wedding, we were blown away. It is an amazing clip that beautifully shows the highlights of our day.
Our final video didn't disappoint us either. It was beautiful packaged. The videos themselves were personal and true to who we are as a couple. We shared them at our reception in NJ, and our guests loved them. They felt like they had been in Hawaii with us. We are so grateful to have such a beautiful memento of our wedding day. Julian has a really special talent. I would recommend him to any bride getting married in Hawaii!

I had an absolutely fabulous experience with 10th Letter Media. Julian is truly talented. They were creative, flexible and very professional. I can't say enough about 10th Letter Media and the service they provided for our wedding. Communication was great and email responses were quick. They were professional and definitely know videography.

I'm current stationed at a tv/radio station with other videographers/broadcasters and they too were very impressed with the finished product. My wife and I just received our video and we can't stop watching. Again 10th Letter Media, thank you very, very much for covering our wedding!

I spent several hours scouring the internet for a Videographer for my destination wedding. I wanted a Videographer that could produce a polished, artistic and professional video and Julian from 10th Letter Media delivered just that. I have a good friend who has been in the film industry for 15 years and after watching our wedding video he told us he was really impressed with how professional it was and that the camera angles were well done. This video is a gem we will treasure forever.

10th Letter Media is the best videographer in the world...So easy to work with and just absolutely pleased with everything...they helped us do our love story and sideshow and it was fantastic...not to mention that he also did 2 of my bridesmaids wedding also all this year...even their videos came out perfect!
