There is NOT a better place to have a wedding! True southern hospitality and all thing are handled ALL ASPECTS ALL NEEDS ALL DESIRES YOU HAVE ARE MET! Even weather conditions aren’t an issue! They have a huge reception area with a LARGE fireplace. Oh what beautiful pictures for brides(and grooms) inside the lovely home which is simply gorgeous !! Not to mention to balconies and the outside!
The Arch team of workers are able and willing to meet every need and there is no stress on families preparing for an event no worries cause they handle it all! Come with your ideas and desires and watch memories be made that will be everlasting! No need or have a florist- they do this- cakes- they have people for this- photos- they can help and suggest- music- wow they have this covered also! Hospitality unmatched!

I don’t even know where to start. Mary and the A Team made our Christmas Wedding Greater than we could ever imagine. Every expectation I could’ve had for our wedding was exceeded beyond anything I could imagine. Mary was personable, and made us feel like family. She listened to every detail we were looking for and took every necessary step to make sure it was done for us. I cannot recommend them enough and if you are looking for a beautiful wedding venue with every thing you could ever need in one place, call Mary and the A Team! We could go on and on but trust us when we say that you couldn’t do better than the Arch! -

Mary Wilson is the absolute best!!!!! My wedding day was everything I could have ever imagined. She made sure everything happened the way it should have been and when it needed to happen. From the setup to the ceremony to the reception I have nothing but great things to say about it all! If you are looking for a venue The Arch is the truth and so is Mary Wilson. The Arch saved the day@
Mary and The Arch saved our wedding day when we were scammed and lost our wedding location 4 days before our big day. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The Arch garden was beautiful and the perfect place for our ceremony. Mary helped us decorate the Pavilion and make our reception more than I could have ever expected. Chris was our bartender and the absolute best! I cannot recommend this venue enough. Our big day was beyond perfect and The Arch had a huge part to play! We are so grateful for everything Mary did for us! -

Dream Come True
An Italian young man wanted the chandelier, The Southern Bride wanted a religious wedding. So, the search began.
We searched all around the Lowcountry. I get a call from my daughter, and they found the place. Nestled in a small town outside of Charleston. She told me she had made an appointment for me and his family to come and see.
I drove up and under the live oaks, there was a beautiful historic home, white columns on the large front porch, a two-story home that screamed come on in, you're more than welcome! Driving to the back parking lot, I see the garden, white fence, long white benches alone it stands, a large white cross, behind it a pergola. I was sold.
Between the garden and the pavilion was a winding wooden walkway under beautiful natural greenery that led to the back of the home.
We toured the very large pavilion. Looking up there was the huge chandelier he wanted for her! When touring the house, can’t say house because it didn’t feel that way. Mary, the owner and director, made us feel at home. Not to mention there were more chandeliers! Rooms for the groom and bride. A beautiful sitting room for immediate family and an upstairs porch.
This was the venue!
Then began our journey with Mary. Mary was there with every need, every call was answered, every emergency handled. She was even there to calm my daughter and me during our moments of stress. When we lost the Dj to an equipment problem, Mary’s reply was I got it, I’ll call in a favor. Mary was a dream for a mom who just wanted to really get it right for a first-born son of the Riccio family, and our middle daughter who never asked for much.
The day of the wedding, Mary welcomed my photographer and hairdresser with her southern charm. The photographer left the wedding saying he had met a friend. The wedding was a fairytale come true. Thank you to The Arch, Mary, and all her staff that was as perfect as you can get! Mary gave my daughter and her husband a dream come true!

Not stressful because they do everything!
I wish I could give them more than 5 stars! From start to finish, Mary and her ATeam made our wedding dreams come true. They are amazing at what they do and love doing all that they do. They are prompt, knowledgeable and beyond helpful. Mary and Jenny were the most wonderful and amazing day of coordinator, too!!! We got married in the gardens and had our reception in the pavilion There after. The venue it’s self, alone is breathtaking but the beautiful decor throughout the whole venue that Mary and her team put together and surprised us with we’re to die for…literally brought me to tears because I couldn’t have asked for anything more special and elegant. The service and food were spectacular and tasteful. My guests said it was the best wedding food they have every had. The bartenders made amazing drinks and people didn’t have to wait. The night started and ended perfectly, I am beyond happy with my experience. If you are looking for a wedding venue this is the spot that makes and creates the wedding of your dreams! They truly care about every detail. The Arch, the owner Mary, service and staff are out of this world and You won’t regret it!!!! No need to look further this venue has it ALL and more! -

Absolutely AMAZING ! My husband & I couldn’t have asked for a better place to have our wedding, but more importantly, the incredible staff that The Arch provides. The Arch is a lovely venue, and we had such a great night. They were helpful and made a point to ask us how we wanted everything set up. Amazing, Wonderful, Beautiful, Perfect Venue
Wow, what a wonderful wedding we had at The Arch for our beautiful daughter and wonderful son-in-law this past Saturday!! The venue was perfect, gorgeous and met our wishes in many ways!! The garden is absolutely stunning and the reception area was perfect, not to mention the house where both parties were able to get ready and do their first looks!! We have amazing pictures because of how beautiful The Arch is!! Mary - Thank you for walking us through this entire process from beginning to end!! We have enjoyed each moment as we planned, whether in person or via phone!! Thank you for listening and making sure each detail was as we discussed especially all the flowers which were beautiful and met our wishes perfectly! Also, a huge ‘Thank You’ to both of our wedding coordinators, Mary and Katrina!! You both were so awesome and amazing at keeping us on track, keeping the flow moving, and finalizing details so we would not forget anything! We could not have done any of this without you!! My life verse for my daughters is Jeremiah 29:11! This was lived out at The Arch for Matthew and Kristen as they took the next step in their journey together!! 4/23/2022 was my wedding day at The Arch. Mary and her A-Team were nothing short of AMAZING! The were wonderful to us and anyone who showed up for our day. Mary had many rolls, as we had her doing a lot. It turned out better than I could have imagined. I had so many people tell me tonight how wonderful and beautiful it was. They loved that the house, the pavilion and the garden were in one location.

Wow! Wow! Wow!
Holy cow! The A Team at the Arch is AMAZING! I attended a wedding on April 16. The wedding garden was a gorgeous setting. There were many little details from the walk from the wedding garden to the reception area (flower arrangements, signs) that made it a sweet walk. The reception area was beautifully decorated--- sweetheart table, cake table, bar, serving line and guest tables! The bbq and chicken supper was delicious as well and the added.touch of having servers instead of it being a buffet line was perfect. I highly recommend the Arch and the A Team for your event needs. -

Planning a wedding in less than three months is no joke, but Mary and her team will make it happen!! From letting us create our own menu, to decorating, florals, bartending, day of coordination, etc., they have it down pat. During our rehearsal the day before our wedding, it was raining and the forecast showed rain on our big day as well, which stressed me out like no other; but Mary, Jenny, and Katrina all had solid back up plans to help relive my stress. The team also helped got our flower girls and ring bearers excited to walk down the isle, which is pretty intimidating for little ones! And Mary was able to wrangle our entire wedding party, which is a feat in and of itself (thank you, Hershey Kisses!!). Mary even helped with an outside vendor issue we had after the wedding! All in all, the entire A-Team is upbeat, fun, organized, and truly want to make your day better than you could have ever imagined. No matter the circumstance, they will do what is best for you. I was amazed by how much work this team puts into a wedding and you can that this is much more than a job to them. They are truly miracle workers and we are so thankful for everything they have done. Y'all go get married at The Arch, now!! -

I wish I could give The Arch more than 5 stars! From start to finish, Mary (the owner) and the A- Team (Day of Coordinators through the venue) made our wedding dreams come true. They are prompt, knowledgeable and beyond helpful. The Arch wedding venue is breathtaking. I got married on 10/16/2021 and keep hearing wonderful reviews from guest about how amazing the wedding was. Everyone has said it was the best wedding they have ever been to. Planning a wedding can be stressful, but Mary and the A Team made it so much easier with their guidance, organizational tools, suggestions, responsiveness and positive attitude. Once I arrived the day of our wedding, I was able to just relax and enjoy the experience as Mary and the A team ensured everything went smoothly. I would recommend the Arch to any bride and groom, or anyone searching for a venue for a special event. -

Awesome Wedding
I got married here and I’m so happy I went with The Arch! The A-Team did my day of coordinating, set up & break down, and catering. All of my friends and family said it was the best wedding they’ve been to. The venue is gorgeous and the way the A-Team set it up made it breathtaking. I explained my vision and they made it even better. My original DJ had a health issue come up and Mary found me a new DJ before I even could worry. I left my veil at home and they had a bunch to pick from. The one I picked was even better than the one I had. The food was amazing - everyone was telling me how much they enjoyed it. I would highly recommend Mary and the A-Team for everything. -

OH MY GOODNESS! WHERE DO I BEGIN?
From the moment my daughter introduced me to Mary, I knew this would be the fairytale wedding she had dreamed of. The experience we all had was positive and if anyone didn’t have one, well, that is on them. If it needed to be done, it got done, if a shoe broke, Mary had it covered, when I couldn’t get the linens done, Mary found a solution. Jen also made sure things ran smooth! I can’t say enough about everything! The venue, the quality, the price, the food( AMAZING!!!!) the professionalism ( knows when to have fun and knows when it’s time for business) and the FUN!!!!

My Wedding
I recently had my wedding on March 27th, and some of the most common advice that was given, was that nobody’s wedding is perfect so don’t sweat the small things when they don’t turn out the way you want.
I can truly say that I am blessed to NOT be one of those people. Our day was ABSOLUTELY perfect!! A huge part of that goes to Mary and her team here at The Arch. They were always so willing to lend us an extra hand, even during the ceremony which was taken off-site, at Mepkin Abbey. Without the support and experience they brought to the table, I can honestly say my day wouldn’t of turned out as perfect as it did! I would recommend them a thousand times to anyone who is looking for the perfect location and the perfect team to make your day just as perfect as mine was❤️ A huge Thank You, a thousand times over, to The Arch!! The arch is a beautiful venue to have your entire wedding event. We rented the entire venue, including the gardens, pavilion, and the bridal suite to get dressed. My girls were comfortable all day getting dressed and the staff accommodated our every need. The wedding garden was beautiful! When I walked down the aisle I was so happy with how everything looked, as well as my guests because I received nothing but compliments on how beautiful my wedding was. The reception was an absolute dream! Mary and her team captured everything I wanted and turned it into a reality. The team was very flexible and flew into action during every emergency, and we had a few!!! But they made my day so special and we were so happy with how perfect it was. It was beautiful, the food was delicious, and the team was very hospitable! I would highly recommend you book your wedding at the arch. It is by far the best value in the low country area! -

So happy that we chose this venue! I can't say enough about how well this location suited our needs and desires. We held our daughter's wedding at The Arch on 01/02/2021. My daughter especially loved the venue because it has a wedding garden and she wanted an outdoor wedding. Thankfully, we had Mary and her A-Team on our side because the forecast called for rain so they were able to transform the Pavilion area into a gorgeous wedding site! My daughter, our son-in-law, and their guests had an amazing time. The food was outstanding and it felt amazing to know that Mary and her team had everything under control so we were able to really enjoy the day and take it all in without any worries! If you are looking for a venue, look no more! This location has it all! Planning, decor, catering, coordination and more!! -

We are so glad that we chose to have our wedding at The Arch. The venue is beautiful and the staff was great. Everything was set up exactly the way we wanted, and the ceremony and reception went flawlessly. Mary, Katrina and Jenn did a fantastic job making sure everything was taken care of. If you’re looking for an affordable venue complete with bride and grooms amenities as well as southern charm and an AWESOME team of coordinators, then I highly recommend The Arch. When I first met Mary Wilson while venue searching, the first thought I had was how kind and friendly she was. She was so helpful throughout the whole journey, from our initial meeting all the way until we left the venue as newlyweds! We got married here on 11/10/2019 and had everything came together so perfectly. Mary and the A-Team went above and beyond to give us the experience we wanted. Everything was amazing - the hospitality, the surprise decorations in the garden, the food - all of it.
Mary helped with a lot of unexpected hiccups as well. She sewed up my garters so that they’d fit correctly, did a quick alteration on my sister’s dress, and she even quickly went from wedding coordinator to paramedic to help my best friend come down from an endometriosis attack - and all of this happened before the ceremony! With so many stressful things going on, Mary and the A-Team STILL managed to make everything come together perfectly!
When Mary realized we didn’t have enough arrangements for the ceremony garden, she had her A-Team quickly decorate with some of her own arrangements so that we could have a beautiful ceremony. The reception pavilion was decorated absolutely splendidly and was so perfect! Also the food from Artistic Catering was AMAZING and the service was wonderful.
Mary and her A-Team were so great with their quick thinking and and their hospitality. They made sure I had the beautiful wedding that many girls dream of. Love, love, love this venue and I highly recommend to anyone who is planning to be married in the Charleston area. Thank you Mary and the A-Team for all the help and hard work you put into making our day perfect! -

My son got married at here 10 November, and it was beyond perfect! Mrs. Mary and the A Team made everything so easy, so beautiful, so amazing!! I was more involved than most mother's of the groom because the bride's family lived so far away, and it was an honor to be a part of this experience. My son asked me to help give his bride a fairy tale, and fairy tales start with the perfect couple (check), but they aren't possible without the perfect location. We had a couple of choices in our budget, and The Arch was quite a bit more expensive than the others, but the others did not have Mrs. Mary T. Wilson. From the first visit through the entire wedding, she was supporting us and providing suggestions to fulfill the bride's vision and made the day the fairy tale my son wanted for his bride. I cannot thank you enough Mary T. Wilson, Katrina, and the rest of the A Team. You guys are amazing!!! -

One stop shop
I can not begin to explain how amazing our special day turned out to be! First let me say that the venue is absolutely stunning and so reasonably priced for everything that you get with it. This place literally does not have to be decorated and it still so elegant and beautiful. The owner and also the woman that helps you plan everything from your first meeting til the time you leave after the reception, Mary Wilson, will go above and beyond to make sure that you have anything and everything that you need! She has tons upon tons of things that you can rent for very reasonably pricing, not to mention she can make flower arrangements that will blow your mind! I truly could not have picked a better place to start the beginning of my happily ever after. The only thing I wish I could do is turn back time and do it all over again! Thank you Mary and your team for making my day a day i will remember and cherish forever -

Brandon and I had our DREAM wedding, at The Arch, on 9.21.19. Mary Wilson took our vison and made it a reality. Every single detail was perfect! We couldn’t be happier. The A-team did flowers, design and set up. Mary was even our day of coordinator. I wanted to have my Papa’s picture on my bouquet but I left it at home. Mary, without missing a beat, got to work and printed it out and made sure it was squared away. I told her the story that my Papa (who passed away) always said his life would not be complete until he got to dance at my wedding. Unfortunately, he didn’t make it. Mary, to my surprise, came up to me on the dance floor and tied that picture to my wrist. That way his dream could be fulfilled. It was the sweetest thing and meant the world to me! The Arch were very helpful in accommodating to our vendors: caterer (Braised In The South Food Truck), DJ(Reggie) and our photographer (Dennis Charleston Photo Art). We absolutely recommend The Arch! You will not be let down Thank you to all that made our special day possible.

Where do I start with all of the amazing things not only this beautiful place but also Mary brought to my wedding ceremony. Mary made me feel like I was a celebrity! She helped solve every issue I brought to her, from my engagement ring mishap, needing an officiant, down to just needing a pair of scissors or a hot glue gun. The A-Team did a beautiful job with the flowers and draping and are very creative! I would recommend the Arch no matter how big or small your wedding ceremony is. -

My husband, family, friends, and I all loved our experience at the Arch. When I started planning my wedding, I was incredibly nervous because I had little knowledge about good vendors in the area and what to expect as far as pricing, timelines, contracts, etc. Thankfully, a co-worker recommended that I check out the Arch, and the rest is history! Mary tolerated all of my many questions along the way, and she and her team planned out a day for us that I will never forget. Even without a huge budget, I was able to have a beautiful wedding. The house itself is gorgeous, but when all the flower arrangements and decor go up, it comes alive! Mary and I decided to use bright spring colors and bright white linens to make everything pop. The brick walkway, the draped Arch, the clean white benches, and the rustic feel of the trees all make for photos that are magazine worthy! If you are looking for a venue that has a perfect blend of southern charm and elegance, the Arch is the place to go! -

Terry Sent on 10/04/2018There are no words to describe the love we have in our hearts for Mary Wilson at The Arch. For 2 and a half years, we spent hours on the phone throwing ideas around. She could see my vision, she figured out my likes and dislikes, and most importantly, she gained my trust. We had everything set- down to the very last detail and were beyond excited to have our day, set for Sept 15th. Then along came Hurricane Florence. With so many family members coming and the size of Florence, there were so many things that could go wrong. The storm that was heading our way was huge, and Charleston was slated to take a direct hit 2 DAYS BEFORE OUR WEDDING! Not wanting to place our family & friends in harms way, we made the decision to cancel our wedding. Monday morning (9/10) I called Mary in tears...I asked her if we could drive down (we live in Raleigh, NC) and sign our marriage certificate in my dress at the venue so I could at least have a few pictures taken. With voice cracking, she told me she would meet me at The Arch the next day at 10am.
Long story short, Mary made it happen. Unbeknownst to us, she worked through the night and set up a small, but very beautiful setting for our wedding! She set out horderves, and there was a cake! She found a harpist, and a musician! It was all a surprise, and it was glorious! For the next hour and a half, we had a small ceremony with just family. We had our first dance, I danced with my Daddy, and we took photos all over the property. This disaster ruined our plans, but because of Mary, we ended up having the most amazingly intimate experience. It was absolutely incredible and something we will never forget. Mary is a special individual, with the biggest heart. She knows the importance of the occasion, and does everything in her power to make it perfect. There is no detail missed, nothing left to chance. In the face of heartbreak, Mary treated us like family. She turned our heartbreak into joy. Mary and The Arch are sheer PERFECTION!

Had my wedding on 11/24/18! Mary did awesome and went the extra mile to make my day everything I wanted! We had a few bumps along they way but in the end she worked everything out! I am so happy I picked this venue! My wedding day was everything I pictured it to be and more, I would definitely recommend this venue and the A-Team!!! #HappyArchBride
Also, We hired Marys catering service Artistic Catering, the food was delicious! The cocktail hour was a big hit! The guest loved the ginger snap pumpkin dip and her chicken spread as well!!! Highly recommend using the Venue and Artistic Catering it just makes everything a whole lot easier! -

We booked “The Arch” now 108 W. Main almost a year before our wedding. Imagining the beautiful, charming venue we first toured. Midway through planning, it was sold to new ownership and renamed “108 W. Main,” stripping away the magic we fell in love with. Although the new owner, Sasha, promised to honor our original contract, she quickly broke that promise and asked for another to be signed.
1.) We faced surprise fees. Sasha waived when questioned.
2.) Unplanned and unscheduled meetings.
3.) Request for permits for vendors two weeks before wedding. Permits expired by the town on April 1st 2025. Sasha said” Well I guess you picked a bad day.” I was in shock!!! She then laughed and agreed to vendors getting them after the first.
4.) The venue was dirty and had many neglected spaces. The ceremony benches were filthy for where our guests were to be seated, and there was poison bushes right near the entry to ceremony and boardwalk!!! The pavilion was dusty and grimy, the floors sticky and dirty. Dirty wet towels under the bar, clothes left behind, trash cans not emptied, and the bathrooms were poorly stocked. The house once full of charm was now cluttered with business cards and flyers in the family room, giving a business tour guide feel. The lovely balcony was filthy dirty and molded so we could not sit or even lean. We had to clean ourselves so that our clothes, let alone my white wedding dress would not get dirty. We cleaned everything ourselves on our wedding day just so our guests would be comfortable. It felt like we were an inconvenience rather than valued clients.
5.) Communication with Sasha was frustrating and dismissive. She often laughed off our concerns, hung up during conversations, and ignored email commitments. Instead of support…we were given last-minute demands, and unprofessional scheduling. Despite everything, thanks to our own determination and the incredible work of our Coordinator, Photographer, and DJ, our wedding turned out beautiful. It was not because of the venue’s support, It was because we poured hours of hard work and heart ourselves into fixing what was neglected.
6.) None of our wedding photos have been shared by the venue, even though the venue was tagged. Despite guests and vendors calling it one of the most beautiful weddings they had ever seen there, to us that silence speaks for itself.
We are deeply grateful for the memories we made, but the experience with “108 W. Main” and its ownership was a disappointment we wish we could spare future couples from. -

I was a bride who got married at this location 4.27.2024. While the venue is very beautiful to look at, our experience was an absolute nightmare. Mary was flexible and great to work with in the beginning but it seemed like as soon as our non refundable money was taken, a light switch flipped. She went from being helpful, to extremely rude and condescending pretty quickly. Mary would go from telling me she wasn’t able to answer questions since I didn’t pay for her to be my coordinator, to demanding answers from me 48 hours prior to the day. We paid thousands extra to gain early access to the venue to set up the Friday before, and told Mary our time of arrival only to find out she “took lunch” right when we were set to arrive. We didn’t gain access to the house until 2 hours after our contracted time. In addition she tried to lock us out early the day before at 4pm even though I was contracted to have access until 10pm for set up. Our florals were discussed several times prior and I was transparent on what I expected, they were not set up properly day of and the blame was put on me because she invoiced incorrectly. I had to pay an extra $150 cash day of to get what I was promised. I received condescending texts on my wedding day blaming me for the error and staying I should have noticed the incorrect invoice (while she was one room over), even though we had a chain of messages to plan of exactly what I wanted. She was constantly getting in the way, ended up untying a bridesmaids dress seconds before she walked down the aisle to “fix it”. Mary is in the background of my photos as she had her phone out taking pictures in the middle of my unplugged ceremony, she was on the dance floor during our first dance, and during our cake cutting to get her own publicity photos. The water stopped working for an hour or so which I understand stuff happens but she stood by the door very rudely yelling at any guest who tried to enter that was unaware of it. There are signs all over and in my contract warning if guests or anyone “yells” at her we will be removed, so we all had to just bite our tongue. I truly would not wish this experience on my worst enemy, and do not recommend this venue to anyone until it obtains new ownership. -
