Church & Temple Wedding Venues in New Hampshire

The UU Church of Nashua was a terrific venue for our wedding. It wasn't costly and Reverend Edington was wonderful throughout the entire process!

This church first of all is GORGEOUS!! Pastor Chris Emerson is an absolutely amazing guy also but unfortunately is retiring effective Dec. 31, 2008. He made the ceremony a piece of cake and absolutely beautiful. Even though he will no longer be the officiant I would definitely reccomend this church! The people there are so helpful and talented. We used the church's organist, Ken Grinnell and he is just fabulous. He makes the music sound as though it's coming down from Heaven. Wonderful experience!

Mary Ellen had so many options to make our day special. The ceremony was so beautiful and meaningful and it was because of the choices were able to add. From our vows to our exchange of rings and also the sand ceremony, everything was so "us" that everyone was so pleased by how memorable it was. She was able to guide us through the procession and the ceremony so that during our day we knew our next move so we didn't look silly in front of our guests. Her husband is also the organ player and he was able to find some sheet music on our exit song "theme from Indiana Jones". It was perfect. Our guests faces lit up when they heard the theme being played on the organ.

We eloped and skipped the whole ceremony part of the traditional wedding and decided to just throw a reception! The Stone Church met all of our needs and wishes and then some!! Everything from a vegan/vegetarian menu to helping with breakdown at the end of the night - and they were there for us every step helping create a seamless event. We set up buffet style food, had enough room for a dance floor and seating throughout, we even had them keep the pool table out so our guests could play during the night. We also set up our newlywed table up on the stage with the gift table. Our guests still tell us after 2 years it's the best wedding they have ever been to. The Stone Church staff really made the whole process so easy and customized to us. Pros: Professional music setup we plugged our laptop into for spotify, outdoor seating area with picnic tables, AMAZING staff, awesome food, parking on sight, beautiful architecture, lots of nice string lighting, full bar and kitchen, affordable, clean, funky and local! Cons: Nothing comes to mind!

The Jarvis Center is a large function hall behind a Greek church in Portsmouth. We were married at Rye Beach, and then had transportation take our guests to The Jarvis Center. John and his wife, the managers, were wonderful. We booked the place without ever seeing it because it was very affordable. Our caterer loved their full commercial kitchen with walk ins. The dance floor was huge, the biggest in New England, they claim. And the entire night, nobody left it. We were able to turn this large hall room into a magical beachy wedding reception venue for the most perfect night. John and his wife are very flexible. They met us whenever we wanted to see the Center and they allowed my family and friends to be in there all Friday before the wedding to decorate. The cash bar ran very smoothly and drinks were very generously priced. I would definitely recommend the Jarvis Center to anyone looking to host anywhere from 150-200 guests. It was perfect!
