We are members of Racine Christian Church, so that is why we decided to get married there. It is a new, huge building with seating for around 650 people in the auditorium. There is a balcony, which made for some awesome pictures. It does not cost very much to rent the church at all. Included in the rental fees are the janitor, sound guy, and wedding planner. The church was beautiful and everyone was very nice that helped us get everything set up. It's definitely 5 stars.

If you are a student, it's free, but you have to book it way in advance. The location is gorgeous. With a campus lake, 2 water fountains, an island, a gazebo, shelters, & a beautiful chapel (http://www.pittstate.edu/spotlight/index11-28_12-05.html).

The church we had our wedding at was perfect. You go through pre-marital and they provide a free of costs a wedding planner for the day of your wedding. It's very affordable but dates fill up fast!

Regarding the church - Pat, the wedding coordinator was amazing. She has been handling the weddings and was etremely helpful and organized. Although she hands you a large packet to complete in the beginning, she is there throughout the entire process. The process with them was easy and I wouldn't have had it any other way. Regarding Brother Spencer Ray - I don't think that we could have asked for a better minister. Brother Spencer called us in for a few pre-martial counseling sessions. He took the time to get to know us and help us to talk about about major issues that can come up in a wedding. Even though Chris and I had been together for eight years, we found these sessions helpful. Brother Spencer was helpful throughout the process too. He took charge at rehearsal and allowed us to have the perfect ceremony.

I’ve been trying to wait until we get our photos back but decided I’ll just leave a reviews now. This was the best and most beautiful decision for our little no -traditional wedding. We’ve been together for over 20 years and finally decided to make it official. The hosts were so friendly made us all so comfortable. Very light hearted, humorous, and put any nerves at ease. We were able to take our own pictures and videos as well. And YES THE CHAPEL IS AIR CONDITIONED! It was very humid and misty on our wedding day so the cool chapel was amazing. Thank you again for making our wedding so so special. Can’t wait to receive our photos they took for us.

As a member of this church, I did not have to pay for the ceremony. The office was easy to work with- Pastor Sue was phenomenal. The people of this church are extremely friendly and helpful. Since we are having a Christmas wedding, the church will already be decorated.
