We had the entire bridal party's hair, makeup, and nails done the morning of the wedding. There were three of us and two women to work on our nails, one to do our hair. The outcome was beautiful. They were able to give us three very different looks (one pompadour, one set of victory rolls, and one Gibson roll) and the make up was pretty darn amazing - we didn't have any issues with running or rubbing off/flaking.
As far as wedding goes - I will say that while it might wreak havoc on your nails if you don't have it removed properly, the gel polish is the way to go for the day of. First of all, it dried so dang quick there was almost no wait time, and secondly, even after we had cleaned up and broken down everything that night after the reception there wasn't a single ding to my polish.
They also were very accommodating about letting us bring in food and drinks. We got to come in before they officially opened and it was a very relaxing atmosphere.
That said, it was a bit on the pricey side; but I think comparative to other places around town, we're happy we chose Ziyan.
The only thing I would recommend is, get your cost estimate in writing. My wife had her hair cut and colored the week before the wedding (short pixie pompadour and dyed black) and when we had gone for our consult she was quoted a price by the girl who ended up doing it for her and we were very pleased with how reasonable it was. But AFTER she had come in and gotten it done when she went to pay they charged her more than double what had been quoted. After that we made sure that we had the actual wedding day services in writing from the owner before we felt secure in going back.
