Wildflower Woods is a charming outdoor and woodland wedding venue located in Fredericktown, Ohio. A short distance away from bustling Columbus, this destination is near enough to the city while still providing all the luxury and privacy you could wish for. Couples are invited to get in touch to learn more about what is available at this incredible location.

Facilities and Capacity

Situated on 23 acres of pristine land, this venue boasts meadows, woodlands, wildflowers, and farmland. You and your guests will be transported into a natural oasis, feeling like you have stepped foot into a fairyland. This destination is ideal for those who want a fully outdoor wedding, as the scenery is so picturesque. However, there is a 40ft x 80ft tent decorated with bistro lights and grapevine chandeliers as protection from the elements in the case of inclement weather. Couples can begin their big day in separate bride and groom suites before journeying outside into a whimsical wonderland. Tread the seasonal wildflower lane to gain access to the meadow, where you and your spouse-to-be can say your vows. From there, guests can make their way to the pine forest, where long dining tables can be erected for a hearty meal. Cocktails and evening mingling can be shared around the stone fountain and courtyard, while dancing ensues under the tent.

Services Offered

When you book at Wildflower Woods, you will have access to the property from 11am to midnight, giving you plenty of time to celebrate your nuptials. Couples can enjoy assistance from the coordination team, who will make sure all venue ammentities run smoothly. Couples are invited to use the 200 vintage wooden folding chairs and 25 custom hand-built farmhouse tables during the event. A large variety of decor is included to elevate your wedding design. You are also welcome to bring along your desired catering team, bartending team, and DJ to bring everything together. There is onsite parking for maximum convenience, as well as a golf cart to shuttle guests with mobility issues.

Additionally, the venue offers optional add-ons such as floral services, wedding coordinating/planning, and vintage china rental that can be customized to each couple's needs!

The most magical wedding i could've asked for.

My husband and I have been together for over 17 years. We had our wedding date(5.25.25) picked for many years. I had a vision in my head of how I wanted our Venue to look, as soon as i saw Wildflower Woods, I knew it was the venue I wanted. This place is even more stunning in person. The Staff went above and beyond assisting us leading up to, and the day of our wedding. The owners daughter also came to our rescue when our hair and make up artist showed up an hour late. My husband has long hair and wanted nordic twists and braids with beads. She is obviously an up and coming stylist, it was better than I envisioned. Our day of coordination went smoothly, and their decor package was so beautiful and well put together with our vision.
I would love to live our wedding day again!

Absolutely Incredible Experience

I cannot say enough positive things about this venue! We toured it and immediately fell in love. Florals can be done on site, which was super convenient. They were absolutely gorgeous and perfectly fit the inspiration for what I was going for. There are tables, chairs, and furniture/decor at the venue which again is convenient and saves a ton of stress. The day of coordinator at the venue (Sophia) did a wonderful job communicating with me and helping with any questions I had before the wedding. The venue has multiple different areas that offer a variety of options and backup in case weather is a challenge. The whole day went so smooth, and I completely attribute that to what a great job the venue did at coordinating vendors and their attention to detail/organization. The pine forest is truly such a special atmosphere and made for a beautiful reception. I'd recommend this venue to everyone.

This place is incredibly magical!!!

This is one of our favorite Venues!!! This place is incredibly magical... They have a team prepared to make everything perfect at weddings. We have catering company and we prepare Real Paella Show site!!!

Small private ceremony!

My husband and I searched forever to find a venue that fit our budget but was also a place we would love and felt special. I stumbled upon Wildflower Woods and was obsessed. After emailing and meeting the owners, I want to have every event there. They made my husband, our families and I feel so comfortable. It is so rare to find a wedding venue that truly feels like the couple is the priority and the owners definitely made us feel that way. The wedding industry these days can be so stressful and so expensive and Wildflower Woods helped us have the wedding of our dreams with no financial stress. The bridal suite was so beautiful and perfect for getting ready. I wouldn’t change a thing about the venue. It is beyond beautiful.

Beautiful but many issues

Wildflower Woods is truly a beautiful and magical venue. The guests and bride loved the venue and thankfully did not notice the setbacks that occurred. As a new venue things are constantly evolving, however addendums to the signed contract were not received by the bride or groom and unfortunately the venue did not follow up with them to confirm receipt and obtain a new signed contract. The coordination team did not bring it to our attention during set up and a typed note
was left in the bridal suite AFTER the bridal party had left for the ceremony. The note stated WE had to move all of the tables and chairs from the forest and place them under the tent or pay a $600 fee. When we spoke to the team they were perceived as rude. While the venue was rented until 12pm, the venue started removing the chairs around 9pm and personal items of the guests were placed on the ground. Trash bags and receptacles were difficult to come by. It truly felt like this was a self service venue. We would recommend bringing your own trash bags, a step ladder and flashlights if you choose to decorate the arch. The meadow is not lit and very dark for take down. Many of the issues we experienced may have been addressed in the addendums however we will never know. Even with all of this the wedding was magical and the setting just as the bride imagined. Pretty place but they have a lot to work through for a new venue.
