Whitley is the consummate professional. The band was perfect. No drama, just great music! Would recommend to anyone!

We LOVE Whitley!!!! They did such a great job at our wedding reception and really brought the party. They were so wonderful to work with throughout our wedding planning (and were one of the first - and easiest - decisions we made). We love their whole vibe but also love how understanding they were of our 'vision' for our reception. This was a destination wedding for us and working with a band out of state can present all sorts of challenges, but Whitley and his crew were fantastic, responsive, professional and so much fun!!!!!!

Whitley and his band were perfect for our low country wedding. He was very flexible, moving to a few different locations at the wedding venue to play music for the ceremony and the reception. He had everyone on the floor dancing all night, and was gracious enough to allow a family member to sing our first song. In spite of some bad gnat issues, Whitley and his band played on! I have known Whitley for a long time and also watch him and the B-Town Project a lot live in our local area. He was very flexible with time and musical options. My family is American, my husband's is Brazilian, and we have friends from all over the world. Everyone enjoyed the live music in the beginning and the DJing at the end and we were told that our reception was a blast. So happy we chose them!

BOOK THIS BAND!!!!

October 17th, 2015 was the most magical & perfect day a Bride could ask for and it had a lot to do with the entertainment that we booked for our special day. My husband & I got married on Hilton Head Island & had a wedding consisting of over 200 guest. A TON of hard work went into planning our special day. The one decision that was important to us was booking a band that would entertain our guest who ranged in a variety of ages. Whitley Deputy & the B-town players superseded our expectations. The band leader made us feel confident when we booked him by saying this simple sentence "you have tons of things to worry about but your band will not have to be one of them" & he was absolutely correct. Here is a small list of what this band did that stood out to my husband & I as we reflect on our wedding day experience with booking this band:

- they were extremely professional (on time, communication through the entire process, etc.)
- price was reasonable
- setup equipment in a timely manner & the setup was extremely professional with all wires out of the way for safety
- Band leader always responded promptly to any questions that Bride & Groom may have had
- made paying them extremely convient
- provided a well laid out contract
- All band members dressed very appropriate for our wedding
- pumped the crowd up as the bridal party entered
- provided a play list in advance

The list continues to go on & on with how extremely pleased that my husband and I were with their services. I highly recommend this band for any event. They are, in my opinion, the best in town.

We cannot praise Whitley Deputy and the B-Town Project enough for the AMAZING job they did at our wedding! Whitley played solo guitar for our ceremony, with the full 5-piece band playing from cocktail hour through the night. They are true professionals! We had very limited requests, but instead asked them to play as they see fit and the packed dance floor attests to their perfect choices. If you have the opportunity to book this band, don't miss it!

AMAZING!! Whitley and his band were awesome. My mother and I had heard them playing one night and we knew we had to have him for the wedding. Whitley was very responsive to my emails, song requests, song changes, etc! His voice is spectacular and the music is amazing for weddings, everyone was on the dance floor the whole night! Whitley even worked with my husband to play his surprise groomsmen dance wedding mix, and then later on allowed the groomsmen to come up and join the band with inflatable instruments. He was so nice for letting them do that :) Whitley and his band are amazing, the perfect band for a wedding. They went above and beyond my expectations. Thank you so much Whitley!!!!

During the wedding planning process, we rated what was most important to us– and music was definitely top 3! Both of us really love live music so a band was a no brainer! I’d heard Whitley a few times at the Triangle and again at Wexford (where I work). When I contacted him and found out he was available – it was pretty much a done deal! From the very beginning, he was so easy going and accommodating. He learned ‘our’ song (U2 Sweetest Thing) for our first dance. He even played our ceremony music (the song I walked down to was his take on Cannon D – so beautiful). We’d originally contracted a four piece band but at the last minute (literally the night before) added a fifth band member, a female vocalist – and it was totally worth it!! Whitley brought the party to life – and kept the party going until the very end! We’re still receiving compliments from our guests! We are so grateful to Whitley for providing such amazing entertainment!! Would highly recommend!!!!
