The first time I photographed a wedding at Whispering Oaks I knew that would be the place I'd say I do. The location itself is breathtaking!!! The sun sets (sucker for golden hour over here) right on the hilltop, the view from the property is priceless. The grand staircase for the bride's entrance? 🤌 Bridal suite is bright and elegant, the speakeasy for the guys is a whole charming moody vibe. The Cill Dara has lots of natural light and space. And on top of all of that, the team at Whispering Oaks are so amazing at helping the day run smoothly. Jackie & Brian helped set up and clean as we went, catered to the party with chilled drinks and helping hands first thing in the morning. Jackie kept everyone on time and was a huge help de-stressing with me over a mini missing-vendor panic. She packed up all of our vintage glasses and decor with great care and helped load up at the end of the night. We would choose them over & over again.

Three months after our wedding day, we’re still in awe of how we wound up with such an amazing venue. When we arrived for our initial tour, the scenery was beautiful, from the expansive interior of the Cill Dara to the breathtaking panorama that served as the backdrop of our ceremony outside. Brian gave our tour, and we could tell from how laidback and easygoing yet knowledgeable and professional he was that we could trust him and his family with one of the most critical parts of our wedding day. And Whispering Oaks is a literal family; most of its members live on-site and work together to make great wine and host amazing events. Between the day we put down our deposit and the wedding itself, we stopped by the tasting room quite a few times, and the staff was always friendly and willing to chat.

As we met and worked with other folks at Whispering Oaks, we found everyone to be approachable and accommodating. As the date drew closer, we met Jacki, who was so incredibly easy to work with a thoughtful in giving us suggestions based on other events they have hosted. Brian and Jacki both served as our day-of go-to people, and they blended right in, making our guests feel comfortable and lending a helping hand with various tasks when they by no means had to. When our trellis broke while setting it up, they busted out a bigger and more beautiful one they had on hand! In short, they put in the time and effort before and during our wedding; they went above and beyond in making sure our day was better than we had envisioned. They were also a blast to have celebrating with us!

Indeed, the preparation and service were incredible, but you can’t have a wedding at a vineyard without good wine. Fortunately, Ryan makes some incredible reds, whites, and roses. Wedding aside, whenever we stopped by a local spot that carried Whispering Oaks wine leading up to the big day, it was our go-to choice. It still is. While we wish we could throw another wedding ceremony at Whispering Oaks, we’re thankful we can always stop by the tasting room to enjoy the vino and the view. If you want a marvelous location that allows for guests to move between wonderful indoor and outdoor spaces, and a staff dedicated to making your wedding everything you’ve been dreaming about and more, then Whispering Oaks is your spot!

Brian and Jacki were incredibly responsive--they quickly responded to all emails, calls, and, when necessary, text messages. They were very hands-on in their approach to handling our wedding. We did not have a wedding planner, but both Jacki and Brian took over this role when necessary. They made sure our vendors arrived at appropriate times, that our setup was executed to ensure our vision, and even guided us on minor details and concerns that we did not know how to address. The venue itself is absolutely perfect! I cannot begin to describe how beautiful the view was during our outdoor ceremony. The most notable comment that guests made was how beautiful the venue was (especially considering it was a bit of a commute for many of our guests). Their wine is also something to write home about (which we served at our wedding). Every time we stopped by the venue, even for a glass of wine, the family made us feel welcomed and asked us about our wedding planning. Fantastic venue to use, and an even better family to work with.

I honestly do not know where to start with my review of this venues except that I HIGHLY recommend using Whispering Oak Vineyard (WOV) for your wedding or any other events!
I personally worked with Jackie and Brian, who are absolutely AMAZING, but also had a few encounters with other members of their family who also seemed very kind and friendly!
Jackie and Brian were with me every step of my planning and certainly played a big roll in planning my perfect day. They were always very responsive to my questions I had and did not hesitate to go out of their way to assist me. For example, I was originally planning on placing something on each stair and Brian counted how many stairs there were and sent me the count within a day. Also, they give you a check list so you do not forget anything when you are in panic mode due to the wedding coming! It was very helpful!
The venue itself is so beautiful! I am so happy I decided to have my wedding at WOV!
Not only can you have the ceremony with an amazing view at the same place the reception is located.... there is a speakeasy which is where we held on rehearsal dinner (Also where cocktail hour can be located).
Most importantly, lets talk about alcohol. There are kegerator located within the facility in which their bartenders will take care of; You just have to have the beer delivered to the venue.
WOV's wine is absolutely amazing! It was a HUGH hit at my wedding. I also recommend adding the soda package when you decide to have your event at WOV... spritizers were also very popular at my wedding
I can not tell you one thing that went wrong on my wedding day because Brian and Jackie went above and beyond to make sure the day is perfect and I had the fairytale wedding I have always dreamed of.

We had the wedding of our DREAMS here this weekend. Not only are the venue and grounds AMAZING, but the family who runs the vineyard are SO CARING. Susanne, Brian, Ryan and Glen- THANK YOU! Our wedding day was absolutely EPIC!

My husband and I knew we wanted to have our wedding at Whispering Oaks as soon as we first visited there. The venue is beautiful and the view is spectacular! We got so many great photos on our wedding day with the view in the background as well as in the vineyards. The Whispering Oaks family were so helpful every step of the way and answered all the questions we had. They are all so kind and truly care about making your big day the best it can be. Also, the wine is great, too!

The Whispering Oaks team did a wonderful job with our wedding from planning all the way through to the end. We loved that this was a family operation. The premises are beautiful with a bridal suite, loft, "speakeasy" area that we used for our cocktail hour, nice outdoor ceremony area, and large reception hall. They supplied much of our alcohol (wine, soda package, sangria and swine spritzers) and the servers. They worked very well with all of our vendors and were very accommodating during the planning process. We live out of state and were happy that they allowed us to visit on our time with our photographer. They also allows us to use their golf cart for elderly family members and helped us setting up. We cold not have been happier with the venue and their services and felt it was a greta value.

Having our wedding at Whispering Oaks was the best decision we could've made! Our experience was incredible! Jackie, Ryan and Brian were so attentive to our needs and felt like family the weekend of our wedding. The bridal suite is perfect for getting ready. The vineyard and hall are absolutely breathtaking. We had the most perfect day! If you're looking for amazing views, friendly and incredible staff and a beautiful place to say "I Do", Whispering Oaks is the place for you!!

Our son and daughter-in-law were married at the beautiful Whispering Oaks Vineyard in Sunbury PA on July 8. When we went to the vineyard last year, before it was even open, we knew that was the place for their special day. The view is absolutely amazing, the venue is beautiful, but it's the people that really make it so special. This family truly cares about making this day something you will not forget. They go above and beyond to help, guide, and do what it take to make your day so special. They are awesome!

We held my sister's bridal shower at Whispering Oaks. It was absolutely gorgeous and the staff members were so friendly!
