There are not enough amazing things I can say about Joy and Ben Photography! If there were more stars to give, we would! My husband and I hired Joy and Ben Photography to shoot our wedding day in Scottsdale, Arizona in April 2021 and they MORE THAN DELIVERED on everything we wanted for our wedding day photos. As our search began and we had a million options to choose from, your head starts to spin! It can be hard to decide who to choose. We knew we wanted a light and airy vibe to our photos, compared to dark and moody. We had already contracted with a husband/wife videographer (Cineprose Films - also amazing and talented) and asked them who they have enjoyed working with in the past? Joy and Ben were recommended and we headed to their website to view their work. Turns out it was exactly the look we were hoping for. It was easy and very timely to setup a Zoom call to get to know them better and talk about our vision. You want to get along and feel comfortable with your photographer and we felt both of those things immediately with Joy and Ben. They are SO easy to talk to, down-to-earth, and two of kindest people we have come across!

I will say that in hindsight, my husband and I found this small step of asking our video team who they enjoyed worked with to be an extremely valuable piece to our wedding day. You don't realize this, but your videographer and photographer have to work closely together throughout your day to capture what they need to deliver for the client, YOU. My husband and I were so impressed with how Joy and Ben seamlessly worked together with our video team - mindful and courteous to what each team needed to do their job - while also inspiring each other at times to get so many amazing shots.

I could go on and on about how much we enjoyed working with Joy and Ben. They were so accommodating to our needs and scheduling for the day and they TRULY WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND for us. We received our photos about 45 days after our wedding day and were simply blown away with their beauty and what they were able to capture; so much emotion. love, and laughter. I think to myself how lucky we are to have these images to show our future family one day. I also want to point out that our contract stated "60 days" before our wedding photos would be finished, and they delivered ahead of schedule - so amazing when you're on pins and needles to see the photos!

I would recommend Joy and Ben to anyone that asked; friends, family and you reading this review! They are kind, professional, thoughtful, respectful, responsive during all communication, affordable for all budget types, and truly have the clients wants and needs at the heart of what they do.

If you're on the fence about who to choose, I understand and planning a wedding is so stressful! I highly suggest reaching out to Joy and Ben to have a chat with them to test the waters. You'll likely enjoy your conversation so much that your decision will be that much easier!

There have been so many times throughout our wedding experience that I have found myself thinking that I am so, so very grateful that we found Ben and Joy! I can honestly say that they have helped to make our entire wedding experience so much better than it could have been if they weren't part of it. You can clearly see by looking at their photos that it is beautiful work. I am continuously amazed at how gorgeous every picture is that I have received from them- engagement pictures, boudoir pictures (you read that right- if you are debating doing this, then just do it! You won't regret it!) and the pictures I have seen so far from our wedding day. What you cannot see from the photos is even better- the wonderful experience they provide. I can't even say that it's great customer service, because they make you feel like more than a customer. Through every step of the process, they helped to provide valuable advice and answer any questions I had, and they were calming and fun to be around for every photo shoot. It felt more like having a friend to walk you through the crazy wedding planning process (who happened to be a wedding expert AND and a very talented artist)... than just a photographer. I am so excited to see the rest of the pictures from our wedding day, and I'm so happy for all of the future engaged couples who will get to walk through the same process we did with Ben and Joy!

I literally cannot help but recommend Ben to every single person looking for a photographer in the Phoenix and surrounding area. He is 100% professional, kind, easy going but able to take direction to keep things on track. My husband felt very comfortable shooting with him as well. PLEASE take my advice and use Ben! He and his wife Joy kept me at ease and it didn't even feel like we were 'posing' for our engagement pictures or wedding day because we were having such a good time working with them.
