As the bride and groom, we wanted to capture the fleeting, unforgettable moments of our big day as we’ve been told it goes by in the blink of an eye! I’ve been following Maggie on Instagram since 2020 (earlier on TikTok but I’ve since deleted the app), and cannot begin to describe how incredibly lucky I feel to have been chosen to attend and paint our wedding. Maggie exceeded our every expectation! What struck us most about Maggie was her ability to capture the pure essence of the true happiness we felt and the fun moments that occurred throughout the wedding day! Her attention to detail and artistic eye brought out the small, tender moments that may have been overlooked.
Maggie was not only a master behind the canvas, but also a true professional. She arrived on time, maintained a friendly and approachable demeanor, and made us feel truly at ease throughout the whole day! We mostly dealt with her sister, Melody, throughout the planning process and her level of communication is impeccable as she was always willing to answer a text, email or call whenever we had a question, so we knew we were in good hands the day of the wedding. We interacted with Maggie as the wedding got closer to go over the necessary information to capture, transform and bring to life the ideas we had for the vision of our wedding painting. She was a true champion throughout our outdoor wedding, on July 12th, in Virginia! After hearing what particular image we wanted painted, she suggested many different ideas and shots, which ended up helping the painting become our favorite memory from the day. She threw in a couple of our requested “Easter eggs”, which included our two dogs, Lola & LeBron, a cardinal for our lost loved ones who couldn’t be at the wedding, and most importantly to me (the bride) a tribute to my father who died and was not able to be with me on this special day.
Receiving the finished painting at the end of the night was our greatest gift of all. We’re blown away by the level of craftsmanship and artistry. Our painting is a true work of art that evokes the joy and tenderness we experienced during those precious moments. Maggie managed to encapsulate those emotions and create timeless memories that we will cherish forever! Unsurprisingly, the most cherished part of our wedding is Maggie’s painting. We basically chose our wedding date based on Maggie’s availability and for a while I was afraid I was building up too high an expectation for Maggie, but she somehow exceeded all expectations. Not only was Maggie able to capture our favorite wedding moment perfectly, she PERFECTLY illustrated our dog and cat after having only seen photos of them. It’s been 7 months since our wedding and the #1 comment we have received from friends and family was how cool Maggie’s live painting was.

I had a gorgeous wedding in a castle with the wedding cakes of my dreams and a venue decorated so beautifully that I was in awe when I saw it. Even so, Maggie was by far the most magical part! What a gift to have this painting. I know it will pass down through future generations. Maggie was absolutely amazing, and her coordinator/sister is equally outstanding. They were extremely professional and took care to follow every instruction and fulfill all the details I wanted. I felt like I was meeting my celebrity crush! She could not have been any nicer, not only to me but to my guests and family who inquired and stopped by her painting set. Cannot recommend enough. We were lucky enough to have Maggie come to our wedding in England in July 2023 and from the moment we received the initial email saying we had been chosen, we knew that we were in for something special. Even our wildest dreams couldn’t have imagined what a brilliant addition Maggie would be to our wedding. In the lead up to the wedding, nothing was too much trouble and she responded to each of our questions quickly and with enthusiasm for each of our ideas. On the day of the wedding, Maggie engaged with all our guests as they admired the painting as it was coming along; she set up the painting in the room where the wedding breakfast was taking place and it became a huge talking point throughout the day. The painting itself is incredible. The accuracy to detail, the colours, and the specific details we asked for are all amazing and it has become such a special keepsake from our perfect day. In the evening, Maggie spent time talking to our guests and partied with us which is another thing we loved. Maggie was AMAZING!! She painted our ceremony and it was breath taking. She painted throughout the night, and guests LOVED watching her progress. She finished by the conclusion of the reception, and we were able to take the piece home with us. She is beyond talented, and also the friendliest person. To begin with, Maggie is the sweetest person ever. Besides her crazy talent, she is an extremely nice person. When we first got the response that Maggie accepted our proposal to come to PR to paint us, we were so shocked and excited.... cause we've been seeing her work for years and were completely in love by each and everyone of them. But, I got to say that the way Maggie portrays the emotion in that moment she captures to paint, is incredible and shocking. Like I can't describe how real the painting feels to us, you can see and feel the same emotions we felt in that precise moment. Besides that the painting is pure PERFECTION.
