VG's is an awesome locally-owned bakery and they knocked it out of the park on my wedding cakes this past July! Everything they make is delicious and our wedding cakes were no exception. I provided an inspiration image for the cake decorations but told their decorator to go to town and get creative - all three cakes turned out stunning! Keep VG's at the top of your list if you are in need of a wedding cake, and make sure to get on their books in advance as their cakes are in high demand!

When we went to find a vendor to make our wedding cake, taste was our priority. We tried a number of places, but VG's Bakery in Farragut had the best tasting cake hands down. They're a small local bakery, and they don't do traditional multi-tiered wedding cakes, so we ordered five different small cakes that we displayed at our reception and a number of extras of those same flavors which were cut in the kitchen and served to guests. Every cake was beautiful, and every one was absolutely delicious. I had numerous guests tell me it was the best cake they'd ever had at a wedding, and everyone loved that we had multiple flavors. The price was also excellent compared with larger bakeries. Now be aware, since wedding cakes aren't VG's main item, they don't do everything a mainstream wedding cakery would. If you want wildly elaborate decorations, one cake to serve 200 people, and on-site delivery, you'll probably be better off with a mainstream bakery. But if you want simple, elegant, delicious, and affordable cakes that everyone at your wedding will remember, I suggest you check out VG's. They were great to work with and made a lot of accommodations for us.
