We do things a little different here at Top Hat Gallery. You will not likely have the same experience somewhere else as you will with us. To answer some of your questions about us:
*WHO IS TOP HAT GALLERY?
-Top Hat Gallery is a photography service business that specializes in Weddings, Senior Pictures, Maternity, League/Sports teams, Pin up/Boudoir, Family, Children, and other services. Top Hat Gallery is solely owned and operated by Zachary Johnson (Photographer) and JJ Bishop (Editor).
*WHAT ABOUT PRICING?
-Our prices are extremely competitive, and affordable. We offer a standard 1 - 2 hour photo session (This includes but is not limited to: Engagement, Senior Pictures, Maternity, Family, Children, League, Group, etc) Prices start as low as $50 dollars/an hour. Weddings and other special events are a bit higher and start as low as $75/hour.
*WHAT TYPE OF PAYMENTS DO YOU ACCEPT?
-We accept Cash, Major Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express), and Money Order. Personal checks are accepted; however, payment by personal check must be received (5) business days before your photo session.
*DO YOU HAVE PRINT PACKAGES OR CD AVAILABLE?
-Did you ever think it possible to get exactly the pictures you want? At Top Hat Gallery that is precisely what we do for our clients. Our photos are print on demand; therefor, you have the ability to select the photos and sizes of your choice. Digital copies may be downloaded for a minimal fee by logging into your private gallery. Should our client desire a print package, we will put one together that fits our clients wants and needs. CDs' are available for a $25 charge which includes a copyright release.
*HOW LONG DO YOU KEEP THE PHOTOS?
-Here at Top Hat Gallery we know photos are the best way to capture that special moment in your life, no matter the occasion. Your photos are stored indefinitely, therefore a reprint is only click away!
*IF I LOSE MY PHOTOS, IS THERE A FEE TO RE-ORDER PRINTS?
-At Top Hat Gallery you only pay for the photos re-ordered. There is no additional administration fee for re-orders.
*HOW COMPARABLE ARE YOUR PRINTS PRICES?
-We pride ourselves in our pricing. We believe here at Top Hat Gallery no one should pay an astronomical price for their precious photos. Though we cannot compete with big box store pricing, our print quality speaks for itself. Feel free to compare our pricing with those of our local competitors. *DO YOU TRAVEL FOR WEDDINGS AND OTHER SPECIAL EVENTS?

*DO YOU OFFER A SECOND PHOTOGRAPHER FOR WEDDINGS AND SPECIAL EVENTS?
-A second photographer is subject to availability. Should this be something your interested in, please give us as much notice as possible so that we may check the availability.
*WHAT ALL DO I NEED TO DO TO BOOK A WEDDING OR LARGE SPECIAL EVENT?
-To reserve time for Weddings and other large special events, we charge by the hour. At the time of booking of a Wedding or large special event we require 1/2 of the reserved time as a deposit to reserve that time for your occasion. For example: You would like to book a 8 hour session for your wedding, the total of the hourly rate is $600. Therefore, we require $300 as a deposit at the time of booking to reserve that 8 hours.
*DO YOU REQUIRE A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF TIME RESERVED FOR WEDDINGS OR SPECIAL EVENTS?
-Weddings and special events in the 25 mile radius of Wichita, Kansas does not require a certain time frame. However, in order to ensure our clients do get all the best possible shots in a small time frame, we do suggest at least a 2 hour reserved time. For anything over the 25 mile radius of Wichita, Kansas we do require at least 2 hours of our services.
*IS THE DEPOSIT REFUNDABLE?
-Should the Wedding or large special event take place the deposit is non-refundable and will be counted towards the total hourly rate. For example: You booked 8 hours for your occasion and paid the $300 deposit. The total being $600 dollars we put that deposit towards the $600 dollars owed. The remainder of the hourly rate is due no more than (5) days before the wedding or large special event if paying by check. For cash or Debit/Credit card clients we will accept payment of services the day of, before the photo session starts. Should your Wedding or large special event be cancelled for any reason, we must be notified no more than 30 days before the date in order to have deposit refunded. If your event is cancelled anything after the 30 days, half of the deposit is refundable.
*WHAT SETS YOU APART FROM OTHER PHOTOGRAPHERS?
-Top Hat Gallery has technology that sets us apart from other photographers. We have both a photographer and an editor, at no additional fee. If you would like to view your photos onsite, please request a time when both are available. Viewing onsite, of course, does not include the touch up finishing on your final product.
*HOW QUICKLY CAN I VIEW MY FINISHED PHOTOS?
-We understand the excitement of a final product; therefore, our goal is to have your photos available on our website within (5) business days. However, some larger events (Weddings, etc) can take a few more days before they are available for viewing.
*CAN PHOTOS HAVE ADDITIONAL CHANGES AFTER VIEWING ON YOUR WEBSITE?
-Yes! Feel free to ask.
*HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN IN THE PHOTOGRAPHY BUSINESS?
-Zachary Johnson (Photographer) has been doing photography for 10 years total, 5 years professionally.
