We had our wedding at Tierra del Sol and would absolutely recommend them to everyone!!! It was so nice to have our wedding here, as the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception were all here and all of the outdoor areas were completely reserved for us. The venue was absolutely beautiful, and our ~70 guests all fit very comfortably within the space. We were also able to go to the golf course and take some photos as a couple during cocktail hour.

The food was SO incredible! We had guests raving about it all night, the buffet went very smoothly, and I was amazed at the number of options we had for our food. Even our pickiest eaters had something to eat that they enjoyed, and our more adventurous eaters got incredible seafood, meat, and salads!

I want to give a special shout out to Emilio Geerman, who was our contact person for the wedding. He was so easy to communicate with and was able to arrange last minute changes when we had a change in guest count. He also ensured that the event went smoothly and gave personal attention to each of my guests. My grandma, who was having trouble getting around that day, needed to be transported around the venue. Emilio was able to get a golf cart so she could move quickly and safely where she needed to go. It meant so much to me to know that my family was in good hands with Emilio, and truly impressed me so much.

Tierra del Sol will always be a must-visit for us in Aruba :) We can’t thank them enough for everything!!

We chose Tierra Del Sol for the breathtaking views. We wanted a destination wedding at the beach, but not in the sand. Emilio and Mila are an amazing team. They made sure that every tiny detail was thought of and taken care of before the wedding. The food was amazing! We did the surf and turf and branzino, many guest said it was the best wedding dinner they had ever had. Also, the spaces they provide are all beautiful. The service was impeccable and the staff was great!!

My husband and I chose Tierra Del Sol as our wedding venue, and we could not have chosen a better venue! Everything was specular. The scenery was so breathtaking that we needed very minimal decorations.

The food was phenomenal! Their falafel and Paella are an absolute must! My guests said the food was absolutely delicious. They even accommodated for my maid of honor and I to have separate vegan dishes.

Emilio took care of us through the entire process as our coordinator, and he made sure every detailed was executed properly. He was nothing short of phenomenal.

Our wedding had the beautiful and unique scenery of palm trees and cactus in the background. Our pictures aren't back yet, but everything was absolutely breath taking.

Emilio delivered everything he said he would! Our guests are saying it’s one of the best weddings they have ever attended! Food and service was excellent. I recommend if you go for a wedding in November do the ceremony at about 4:00 due to tradewinds

This venue has breathtaking views. I was worried about the ceremony being too hot, but there was the perfect amount of wind to mask that Aruba sun. Emilio was excellent to work with. He responded to all of my emails and answered all of the questions/ concerns I had. He was there during the entire event and helped everything run smoothly. The food was delicious too! The lobster soup and grouper were incredible! All of my guests were super impressed with the venue.

TDS is one of the most beautiful venues! We looked all over the island and fell in love with the cool setting. Due to COVID-19 we unfortunately had to cancel our wedding, but we are so thankful for TDS (Emilio especially!!!!!) for making our planning process seamless. We so wish it all would have worked out, because they helped us and put so much time into making every detail perfect for my Fiancé and I. We are so grateful and want all the other couples searching for venues to know how amazing they are! REALLY! As a destination Bride + Groom they walked us through everything and helped us with our vision. Which was such a stress reliever. TDS will always have a special place in our hearts.

I wish I didn't have to write such a poor review, but if I can help another bride avoid the mess that is Tierra Del Sol, then so be it. I'd like to start off by saying that the team is extremely unorganized. Under Ethlyn Castillo's leadership, you can guarantee that the management of your wedding will be inconsistent, incorrect, and stressful. You will have to double check every single thing the team puts in front of you. She is also incredibly unfriendly and I saw her roll her eyes many times during our meetings.

Here is a list of what happened with our wedding at Tierra Del Sol:

1. it took them about 6 months to even get us a quotation (TDS is a special location for us since we lived on Aruba, which is why we put up with it).
2. They incorrectly invoiced us multiple times
3. The wedding planner we were working with (through Tierra Del Sol), randomly quit without notice and Tierra Del Sol never told us until we didn't hear from them for weeks and I had to ask for a follow up
4. *THIS IS A HUGE ISSUE THAT I AM STILL IN SHOCK ABOUT* I worked with the wedding planner on the menu for the day and they approved the choices, I sent those choices to all of our guests to select before the wedding. The Monday before our date, we all sat down and finalized them (after they made numerous mistakes where i had to go through and individually fix myself). 39 of our guests had ordered the surf & turf (lobster tail). On the night of our wedding, they brought out steak and reused shrimp from the cocktail hour (no lobster tail). People with clearly indicated shrimp allergies on the seating chart were served shrimp. My meal was incorrect and my husband was unable to eat his steak because it was hard as a rock. 0/10 service for the food.
5. I specifically mentioned that I wanted no artificial flowers at the wedding, but rather real roses and greenery. 50% of my floral arrangement was fake florals.
6. The night of the rehearsal dinner, Ethlyn and her team were incredibly unfriendly. Once it was over, they disappeared, no assistance in getting us taxis to dinner and we were stuck at the venue for 45 minutes.
7. The bridal suite floor was completely filthy, all of our feet were black as was the bottom of my dress (even before the wedding started). This was a shame because it affected the photos.
8. There was no AC in the bridal suite even after we asked them to turn it on.

Ultimately, we tried really hard to work with Tierra Del Sol and give them the credit the venue deserves because it truly is beautiful. However, the team is rude, unorganized, inefficient, and careless. If you are going to give a business tens of thousands of dollars, you should be treated with care, kindness, and respect for your special day. They delivered none of these. Only stress and more stress.
