Mimosa Ridge is a full-service wedding event location. Located on the beautiful chalk bluffs of the Tombigbee River in southern Sumter County, The Chapel at Mimosa Ridge is one of the most beautiful and unique, full service facilities available. There are multiple ceremony locations on the property to allow each bride to find a perfect setting. We have an established and professional staff that will take care of every detail of preparation and implementation in order for your wedding to be perfect.

The Chapel:

The chapel will seat up to 150 guests. It has a private bridal suite for the bride and her attendants as well as a groom's dressing room. The bride will come in over a slate entry through double ring, eight foot doors to walk down the aisle on a floor of marble.

As beautiful as the interior venue is, we also have the option to hold the ceremony in the gazebo, sixty feet above the chalk bluffs of the Tombigbee River. Our covered reception area, also overlooking the river, is beautifully floored with gray cobblestone and has a custom cedar ceiling.

The Chateau:

The Chateau will have the capacity to seat 300 guests. A 5,000 square foot ballroom with a grand iron staircase, the Chateau is one of it's kind. The deck overlooking the Tombigbee River will make for unforgettable receptions. Upstairs, there will be seven hotel suites available for the family and friends to rent to make the weekend more convieneint.

The dedicated event staff can customize each detail according to your vision and provide any assistance and service you may require. All packages are customizeable to meet and fit your needs. MImosa Ridge handles all set up, cleanup, planning, directing, decorating, catering, cakes and flowers. We make wedding planning a stress free process from start to finish.
