The Sedgewood Club is a rustic wedding venue located in Carmel, New York. Founded in 1928 by a group of local sportsmen, The Sedgewood Club is now owned by residents of a private community in the heart of the lower Hudson Valley. The dedicated event staff at The Sedgewood Club will go above and beyond to assist you in turning all of your wedding dreams into a reality from start to finish on your special day.
Facilities and Capacity
The Sedgewood Club can accommodate up to 175 wedding guests in its indoor and outdoor event spaces. The beautiful property is nestled on 1,200 secluded acres of hilltop in Putnam County. It features two lakes, a nine-hole golf course, two red clay tennis courts, and 90 homes. On the property, there are several locations where couples can exchange their vows. The 7,000-square-foot Adirondack boathouse and entertainment space is the ideal setting to host a grand wedding celebration. The Sedgewood Club’s gingerbread-style clubhouse may also be used for hosting intimate ceremonies and receptions. There is also a bridal suite on the property where the bridal party can get ready in style. Each event space at The Sedgewood Club is equipped with high-quality lighting and state-of-the-art sound equipment.
At The Sedgewood Club, the wedding event possibilities are endless. Couples may host their bridal shower, engagement party, rehearsal dinners, wedding ceremonies and receptions at the full-service venue. The Sedgewood Club offers several event services to couples planning their wedding celebration. Those services include in-house catering and bartending, setup and cleanup before, during and after your wedding, and onsite parking for you and your guests. Although The Sedgewood Club has their own private chef, couples may also bring in their own outside caterer and other wedding vendors to assist them on the day of their wedding.
