Established in 1910, The Mint Barrel Barn Event Center was carefully restored in 2018 to combine its historic roots with modern amenities. This gambrel-style barn was originally used as a mint still, and large quantities of local peppermint crops were distilled to be used across the nation. It now can be used for an array of romantic events, from minimalist elopements to extravagantly themed weddings. Up to 200 guests can be seated inside the barn, which holds over 6,000 square feet of floor space. Its classic doors open up to a bucolic, breathtaking room with exposed wooden beams, natural hardwood floors, and elegant string lights and drapery. Vintage wagon wheels, barrels, and benches are featured in the space to remind visitors of its rich history. A dressing suite is also available on-site for you and your wedding party to prepare in elegance. Outdoor ceremonies can take place on the patio, with the black and white exterior of the barn as a couple's backdrop. In addition, soon-to-be-weds can use the lush lawn areas for photography sessions under natural light. They can choose from poses on the bench swing, strolls along the white fence surrounding the property, and the lush forestry onsite. Parking is available onsite, with wheelchair accessibility to ensure everyone can enjoy your big day.
