Located in the heart of St. George, The Mathis beautifully blends historic architecture with warm, contemporary design—creating a versatile backdrop for weddings, corporate events, celebrations, and community experiences of every kind.

Rooted in the red rock landscape, the building dates back to the early 20th century and has played many roles throughout its lifetime before being lovingly restored by the Glendenning family. Its storied past and carefully preserved character now meet thoughtful renovations, including an attached three-story office and a fully revitalized interior. The original structure has transformed into an enchanting 2,400-square-foot event space, featuring exposed brick walls, soaring open-truss ceilings, natural hardwood flooring, and prism glass windows that flood the room with natural light.

The Mathis can comfortably host up to 75 guests for seated gatherings with space for food stations, a reception line, and a dance floor. For flowing, open-house style events, the venue accommodates up to 150 guests—making it an ideal setting for both intimate and lively celebrations.
