I discovered Joe Sharino when I googled "northern california wedding bands." And when I first listened to their clips, I believe it was a Righteous Brother's cover, I died. They sounded absolutely phenomenal. And looking over their playlist they had a bunch of songs my family absolutely loves, being huge oldies fanatics.

Picking the band was one of the hardest decisions I had to make... I knew the music would make or break the party so it was an extremely tough choice for me. I wanted to please the older generations attending my wedding, but I also wanted to please my friends, the 20-, 30-something kids from New York City! And boy do I think Joe accomplished this. He had everyone on the dance floor and then some. I even requested that they learn two slow songs (my husband and I love country and there were a couple I just had to hear on my wedding night:) and they learned them and played them and they sounded fantastic.

From the first phone call I had with Joe to stumbling into him as I made my way to cocktail hour on the day of my wedding, I could sense that Joe was the type of guy who wanted to make you happy no matter what it took. He was warm, friendly and so enthusiastic about his work. It was a pleasure working with him and I would hire them again in a second. The saxophone player made a couple of appearances on the dance floor serenading me and my circle of dancing queens and it was just hilarious and an awesome touch. Not to mention they only took two breaks in a four-hour period and during those breaks the sound guy played my dance mix/CD on cue flawlessly.

The Joe Sharino Band made our daughter's reception just wonderful. Joe is a gifted musician with so much charisma; he was able to get just about everyone out on the dancefloor the entire night. Their music is both retro and current - something for everyone. We LOVED him!

As our wedding day approached, there were a couple things I was most worried about. Those 2 things were food and the music. And boy did I knock out a home run with this one! I was referred from a friend of mine. I went to go visit them and they were so courteous. They offered to play some songs for me and see if I liked it or not. They had such a wide selection of music. They basically played a little bit of everything. But their specialty was 80's music and love songs. All of our guests were complimenting on the music and what a great job they did. I don't think I saw anyone sit down as all of our guests were dancing away. The band was promptly on time and even helped set up the wedding as well. Very friendly and kind hearted people and would definitely recommend. Thanks again!
