Since its construction in 1733 by Alexander Hamilton's relatives, James and Ann Lytton, The Grange Estate has gained a storied past. The Grange Estate has been owned by Kings of Denmark, helped to shape Alexander Hamilton's youth, and hosted elaborate grand balls. Nestled in the heart of St Croix, this estate, once a sugar plantation, has withstood the test of time. Notably, the property is also the historical site where Rachel Faucett Lavien, Alexander Hamilton's mother, was married, lived, and eventually laid to rest.
