Absolutely amazing! Raphael and Laura were our wedding videographers, and we couldn't be happier with our choice. My husband and I planned a destination wedding in 6 months in Puerto Rico, aka “La Isla del Encanto”. My husband is half Puerto Rican so it was a no brainer to do a destination wedding there. However, I had never visited the island so committing to a destination I had never visited was a bit daunting on top of all the planning. As I began to research, I did things a bit backwards and contacted vendors on my own before hiring a wedding planner. I wanted to make sure these vendors were the perfect fit for us and our vision. And funny enough Raphael and Laura, from The Filmwriter, were the very first vendors we made contact with. I began following their IG page and within seconds I received a friendly DM from Raphael thanking me for the follow and if I needed any assistance or questions, he’d be glad to help. I was in shock that a wedding vendor went out of their way to simply thank me for an IG follow, because if you haven’t come across this situation yet, which some of you will, vendors can be a little difficult if not too busy at times to get a hold of. But not The Filmwriter.

I cannot thank Raphael and Laura for everything they have done for us (I’m crying as I’m writing this btw). They were so kind the moment we spoke over zoom. I had expressed my worry and stress about a destination wedding, the difficulty it was getting a hold of vendors, but they changed all that for us with all the guidance and tips on planning a destination wedding. They truly made us feel comfortable, special and above all reassured us everything would be more than ok. I knew then I could count on them for whatever. We hadn’t finished the zoom call yet, but I already knew inside they were going to be part of our dream team.

If you haven’t taken glimpse of their work on IG, please do so. That’s how I found them to begin with and where I fell in love with their work. The way they tell a couples love story so uniquely and tailored to each couple, is truly remarkable and super talented. They’re so passionate about every detail, no detail is too small or too big. They’re passionate about their work, they truly care about making your day feel and be the best one of your lives. I still can’t stop watching all of the highlights and stories they created for us.

Now let’s chat about the wedding day. You can prepare for this day in your head for months and months, but there’s no telling what will happen or what you will feel till that day comes. I remember waking up that morning feeling so anxious like I had so much to do and so little time, but the moment my “Dream Team” came in, The Filmwriter and my photographer Jose Ruiz, it was like time stood still, nothing mattered, and I felt no worry in the world. They do this weekly, and having had their own wedding as well, they definitely understand what we feel and go through internally the day of. To have immediately felt a positive change of energy in me the moment they walked in is incredible of them, their professionalism, and talent as artists and visionaries. They began filming me and every shot was the money shot for Raphael and Laura lol! They were so excited when they caught that perfect shot, and it only worked me up even more. We truly made magic on this day, and now I get to cherish and keep this magical day alive for the rest of our lives.

Thank you so much Raphael and Laura, not only for these beautiful memories, but for also becoming new friends of ours en La Isla del Encanto. We can’t wait to return, and who knows maybe a maternity announcement highlight awaits us in the near future. : )

In terms of "Return on investment," hiring the Film Writers was absolutely the best money we spent on our entire wedding. The Film Writers were the most professional, detail oriented, consummate professionals we worked with for our entire wedding in San Juan. My wife and I were truly blown away by their eye for artistic, unique photos and video opportunities, and intense dedication to making us look like rock stars the entire day and night. The wedding highlight video they created is unbelievable. Our wedding truly looks the trailer to a Hollywood Movie. Their team puts so much love and dedication to their craft. If you hire them, they will put 100% of their heart and souls into giving you the absolute best wedding content imaginable. Booking Film Writer was the best decision after I kept being on the fence with video. My experience with them day of was so relaxed, casual and exciting! They were professional and thoughtful. When I saw the finished video- I was blown away. I couldn’t imagine not having this video. Every single family and friend said it was the best wedding video they have ever seen. I would recommend them 10x over. Their passion comes across in their work and my husband and I absolutely are in love with our forever video.
