I had a great experience having my bridal hair and makeup done by Jess at The Beauty Collective/ The Beauty Bar. My fiancé and I planned our micro wedding in Santa Fe from across the country, and Jess was recommended to me by our photographer. From when I first emailed her, Jess was very responsive and easy to work with. She immediately suggested a phone call to discuss my vision. I am not a regular makeup wearer, and Jess was so patient in helping me figure out what I wanted for my wedding day look. I wasn't able to do an in-person trial since I'm not local, but it was no issue at all. Jess came to my hotel room to do my hair and makeup on the day of the wedding, and she made me feel very comfortable and confident in her work. She did an amazing job, giving me a look that felt both elevated and glamorous, but like I was still myself. She even gave me a lipstick to keep, because I didn't realize this was something brides generally provided themselves. For the service you get, her prices were very reasonable, especially because she only charged $25 to come to me instead of having me travel to her studio. I couldn't recommend Jess and the Beauty Collective enough!

Wynonna and Mariah were wonderful to work with and I felt so confident and beautiful on my wedding day!
I had a bit of an elaborate dream for my hairstyle and Jess, Wynonna, and Mariah were so understanding and open to having two trials. It turned out perfectly for the day, and I’m SO appreciative of their creativity and kindness. I’m also not someone who wears makeup often, but am self-conscious about my skin, so I felt very nervous about having my makeup done. Wynonna is incredibly talented, attentive, and encouraging, so I was in great hands and she made me feel so comfortable with the entire process. I was thrilled with my makeup and my husband was very impressed, he said I looked “just like me” which is exactly what I wanted :)
I also especially appreciate Jess’ flexibility with her services: I only had one bridesmaid, my sister was interested in getting only curled hair on a tight budget, and my mom has very short/pixie length hair, so my non-traditional bridal party had fewer services than a typical full wedding day. Jess was so accommodating of all of these requests and my endless questions!

Wynonna was not only so kind and genuine but the absolutely best hair and makeup artist I could have asked for. Her photos online are amazing, and my hair and makeup trial solidified that she is. She made me feel and look so beautiful. I want to emphasize that she enhanced my natural features and made me still look like natural and like myself. I am so grateful because I’ve had hair and makeup done in the past where I did not feel I looked myself any longer. This was not the case with Wynonna. She is wonderful. Mariah also came to help on my wedding day and my bridesmaids, mom and mother in law had nothing but amazing things to say about her as well. They made a great team and were also so kind to stay later for touch ups. My hair and makeup on my wedding day were somehow even more beautiful than the trial. I can’t recommend The Beauty Collective enough. Thank you 💓
