I recommend The Beauty Board to any bride! She is the sweetest person, and is so talented. She is very professional and will do anything to help her clients! Her work is amazing, and I got the most compliments on my hair and makeup!

Anna was absolutely amazing. As soon as we met for my hair and makeup trial, she made me feel so comfortable and listened to each and every request I had. She let me look at each step of the makeup before we moved on just to make sure she was on the right track. Makeup and hair lasted over 9 hours and only came off then because I had to shower.

Wedding day she was punctual, had a great energy, and again was all ears on everything I wanted! If there’s something you want to change, edit, or add, she’s all ears. She’s really committed to making sure you look and feel like a princess, and her being super sweet and fun was just the cherry on top. Budget friendly and super transparent upfront about pricing. Great price for an even better outcome. 12/10 recommend.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Anna! She was so awesome the day of my brother’s wedding and was even ahead of our schedule! She was very laid back and communicated with us very well! Would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a hair and makeup artist for any event!

Due to the 5-star reviews, I had high hopes that my wedding hair + makeup would turn out well, but my glam and the experience surrounding it was incredibly subpar.

While Anna is talented, the two assistants she brought (photo attached my photographer took of one of them slacking off) were absolutely terrible. They badly burned my head with the curling iron, and my curls turned out limp and matted. In addition, a couple of my bridesmaids have curly hair, which Anna and her associates had no idea how to work with. They brushed my friends' hair until it was poofy and frizzy, and could not obtain any satisfactory updos. My friends were forced to redo their own hair afterwards.... I paid $2,500 trying to treat my bridesmaids, only for them to have their hair messed up, along with my own. We were all excited to have a special glam session together, but this did not transpire whatsoever.

Anna also messed up my (the bride's) hair; I had shown her several times photos of how I wanted my hair to look. When she finished and turned me around to look, it was very far removed from what I had requested. I asked for a braid with lots of hair pieces hanging down, but she had pulled it all back and left no face-framing whatsoever. When I pointed out that this style was completely different, all she did was pull tiny pieces out of the braid, making it look even worse. Unfortunately, her and her team were running behind, and did not redo my hair. I absolutely despise how my wedding hair looked, it was bumpy and had random strands that I did not ask for.

Not that she had to be beaming with joy, but Anna's demeanor during the glam session was kind of a downer. She didn't really talk and came across as very disinterested/distracted.

Of important note was how difficult scheduling with Anna was. When I informed her of the size of my wedding party (8 people total, including myself) she asked us to come at 7:00 a.m. (my wedding was at 6:00 p.m.) to have time to get through everyone. I stated this was too early, and kept saying I would pay for however many extra assistants she needed for us to start closer to 10 or 11. She was very reluctant to do so (and the people she did find did a horrendous job, as described above). Also, 4 days before my wedding, she tried to move my hair and makeup trial from the time we had previously agreed on, and asked again to meet at 7:00 a.m. on my wedding day so she could leave earlier to go to the beach with her family. Although she ended up keeping the times the same, receiving all these long texts so close to my wedding day was exceedingly stressful and very unprofessional.

I'm not trying to hate on Anna, she seems nice, but for all the money I paid, I was extremely dissatisfied with her business. Between the hectic scheduling communication, inability to work with diverse hair types, burning my scalp on my wedding day, and doing a completely different style from what I had clearly expressed, I feel robbed and saddened. I wish I could go back in time and hire somebody else.
