I'm Megan and my husband and I own Dapper Xpressions (formerly SweetLooks Collection) where we make classic and novelty suspenders and bow ties, belts, blazers, lady ties, and more! We started in 2015 after my bout with lupus of the kidneys which left me hospitalized for months, and unable to drive due to seizures. We made everything from diaper cakes to money trees and by the middle of 2016 we settled on suspenders, bow ties, and fabric covered glasses. Since then, we've expanded to more products with lots of fabric options, allowing our customers to Xpress themselves while still maintaining a dapper look. I've really enjoyed my time in the small shop world. Having lupus, it can be discouraging thinking of what I would have done or could have done with my degree. But with my shop, I'm able to release those anxieties through creating. I find it very rewarding seeing people wear my makes 🥰
