Wedding Cake
Leigh was so sweet and went out of her way to make sure our day was special. She not only made our cake but was able to deliver it to the restaurant we chose. It was so delicious and beautiful. Thanks Leigh!!!

Delicious! And amazing gluten free options!
We are so happy we chose Sweet Treats by Leigh for our wedding. It was a huge bonus since I am gluten free. Her gf cupcakes and cakes are delicious! We went with a small gf cake for us to cut, then regular 100+ various cupcakes. They turned out so great and Leigh was super easy to work with! We would HIGHLY recommend!

We ordered the smallest two tier wedding cake we could, it was enough for our small group to also take some home. That was perfect because the cake was delicious and everyone loved it. Cake was beautiful and tasted amazing.

I cannot express how glad I was that I found Leigh to make cupcakes for my wedding! Leigh made 100 cupcakes and one 8 inch cut cake for us. The cupcakes were delicious, as was the cake! People were actually stealing cupcakes before we cut the cake and my wedding coordinator had to guard the table so people wouldn't steal them before they ate dinner. I've had multiple friends also comment that it was the best cake dessert they have had at a wedding!
Working with Leigh was also a dream. She always responded quickly and made everything seem like a breeze. Her pricing was affordable and those cupcakes were worth every single penny! She came to set up the cupcakes and even had some cupcake stands that I could use.
I highly recommend Leigh for any occasion you might need a "Sweet Treat" for! :)

Leigh did my wedding cake at Cold Creek Farm in March of 2016. My cake was absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! She had no hesitation when I told her I wanted a naked cake with flowers to match my wedding colors. She gave me EXACTLY what I had asked for. The most gorgeous (and DELICIOUS) wedding cake I had ever seen. THANK YOU SO MUCH LEIGH!

Although they only provided 3 flavors to choose from the cake was delicious. Everyone at the wedding commented on it. Every piece was quickly devoured.

Astonishingly Rude and Belittling
I cancelled my small wedding due to COVID-19. I decided to get married at home in quarantine instead.
I had ordered a very small wedding cake for my reception ($165), and I cancelled it more than 30 days out. Leigh offered to reschedule which I appreciated, but I informed her that I was simply cancelling the party. I asked for a PARTIAL refund. According to her policy, $100 was due to reserve the date and nonrefundable, but I had paid in full as my cake was pretty cheap. I asked for the final $65 refunded.
She then completely ignored me. I sent her a follow up email requesting that she honor her own policy. Again she ignored (weeks passing in between emails). Finally, I asked if we could order a cake since she clearly wasn't refunding me, and I had paid for a cake.
Finally she replied and her email was nasty to say the least. Here's one of her very particularly condescending bits: " through all of this I wanted to get mad but that would not help the situation at all, so as I thought on it and prayed about it, I realized that I needed to pray for YOU instead of being upset. I hope you never have any bad situations come your way especially when they are completely out of your control."
I think she forgot that COVID-19 has impacted me just like it has her? I actually lost my grandmother suddenly to it. While I welcome prayers, especially in a tough situation, telling me I need prayer for asking her for a partial refund is incredibly rude.
It's really not about the $65, it's about professionalism and integrity. I am shocked that a vendor could be so rude to a client who is suffering in similar ways. I never asked for a full refund, or even half. I simply wanted the small portion returned to me since we aren't using her services. Almost all of my other vendors have been extremely kind and willing to refund partially since this situation is out of everyone's control.
The selfishness, unprofessionalism, lack of communication, and general demeaning tone, is absolutely unacceptable of a vendor on one of your most special days. I hope that when it comes time for you to choose a cake vendor, you do not consider Sweet Treats by Leigh. Save yourself a headache.
