Based in Reno, Nevada, but happy to travel, Studio Wride is a live wedding painter that creates gorgeous keepsakes and favors of your special day. Hey there! I’m Sydney – the artist behind Studio Wride. I specialize in quickly painting your guests in watercolor for a one-of-a-kind experience. Your guests will love being documented in this unique and memorable way.
Services Offered
Here’s how it works: I photograph your guests during cocktail hour. They pose in any way they want, solo or in groups, and I quickly sketch and paint them. Guests can pick up completed portraits at the end of the night, and any unfinished paintings will be completed in my studio and sent to the newlyweds. Along with those portraits, the happy couple can request two other complimentary custom paintings depicting special moments from their special day, like a rendering of the wedding cake, the first kiss at the altar, or the venue. All paintings are done on high-quality 5” x 7” watercolor paper with professional-grade paints. Don’t miss out on this unforgettable addition to your perfect day by Studio Wride.

It was such a fun experience for everyone and, in my opinion, one of the best wedding favors you can give because it’s something personal that guests can actually take home and keep.
Sydney is incredibly talented, but beyond that, she has such a warm presence and our guests absolutely loved interacting with her. The portraits added such a unique and personal touch to our wedding and made our guests feel special.
If you’re considering live guest portrait painting for your wedding, I cannot recommend Sydney enough. It was 100% worth it and something we would choose again in a heartbeat!
